• Lorraine (9/5): I highly recommend the La Nuova Girgenti Bed and Breakfast. - There are a number of bed and breakfast facilities in the area. The location was just a block from a set of stairs that is limited to people. It is a nice feature because the traffic is very busy, it seems to be an Italy thing. The neighborhood was clean and safe. Other areas in old town Agrigento are not as nice. Traffic is a constant in Italy. I especially liked that my room was on the first floor. It saved to challenge of carrying luggage up the stairs. Every morning I received an amazing buongiorno from both Guisy and Peri. The morning breakfast was the perfect amount. Guisy and Peri were also extremely helpful with getting taxi service and setting me up for my departing bus travels. It was a wonderful experience and time. Oh and I had an expresso making in my room, a wonderful treat! I have nothing negative to say about the bed and breakfast facility.

• Tiziana (10/5): Ottima sistemazione nel centro storico di Agrigento - Struttura in centro molto comoda per visitare Agrigento vecchia, a pochi passi dalla cattedrale. Camera grande, pulita e accogliente. Ottima colazione. Anche i gestori disponibili e simpatici. Un po’ difficile da raggiungere e nessuna possibilità di parcheggio.

• Tracey (9/5): A warm welcome - A very authentic Sicilian home. Great hosts that were very friendly and provided information and maps on arrival. Warm welcome in the morning for our breakfast (catered for gluten and dairy free) nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location for access to the main sights and very quiet. A short walk from the nearby square provides a lot more choice of restaurants. We ate in one of their recommendations and had a lovely meal. The shower head was broken (wouldn’t stay up) but was still useable after some ingenuity from my husband!

Le petit déjeuner est comme il faut qualitatif et quantitatif comme il faut. Les places pour se garer dans la rue sont possibles je n'ai pas eu de problemes, il y a bien un parking public payant mais légèrement trop loin. la seule chose qui manque une salle pour une machine à laver ^^

Our hosts were so warm and friendly, and very helpful, with excellent communication before and during our stay. The breakfast was an added bonus: exactly what we needed to prepare for a big day of sightseeing. We would definitely recommend La Nuova Girgenti to others.

We had some trouble getting to the property, please be careful of Google directions!! He actually came to us and helped my husband to the parking. Then drove us there with our luggage to get our car. • Laura (10/5): Fantastic hotel and owners! - We had a great time! The owners were so kind and offered to pick us up at the train station upon our arrival. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, the rooms were incredibly spacious and clean, and the shower was great. Very quiet as well. Keep in mind that the city is hilly and the hotel is uphill. Very close to the main strip but just know that if you have any walking limitations. I personally loved the small workout I got each time I came and went! I would absolutely stay there again.

The location is quite good too considering it is just a couple of minutes walk to the main attractions. Parking was arranged by the hosts for the first day and then continued to park in the nearby garage for the remainder of the stay. The hosts were very friendly and had great recommendations. We loved the breakfast!

The parking is very close to the b&b. We couldn't get the coffee machine to work but may just be us doing something wrong!
• Lee (6/5): - Set in the historic section of Agrigento, this makes staying here feel very authentic. Driving there and parking is, as always, a challenge for old parts of any Italian town. They give you great instructions so please ask for them. Do not rely on your google maps. Great beds, beautiful bathroom and a shower a tall person can move a little bit in. Loved the coffee machine which only did espresso.
