Guest Reviews
- Ryan (2/5): - This property had mold growing in the bathroom so bad that I checked out immediately after seeing the room. The bed was also on the ground instead of a frame and made me and my partner itchy just from sitting on the bed
- RICO (10/5): - Awesome service
- Karla (4/5): - The staff is very nice people, but the rooms are in very poor conditions, there’s roaches and the door handles the screws are not secure. Definitely not a place if you come to vacation and need a place to stay.
- Billy (2/5): - The rooms were infested with cockroaches even after I switched rooms twice when checking in. I ualso paid $325 for a weeks stay but had to leave after two day's and only got refunded $134 when I should've received $234. I called and told manager what had happened and was told that I was lying and received nothing back which I found totally wrong and gonna call Better Businesses Bureau.
- Crystal Nicole (2/5): - Disgusting hotel from rooms to statf
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not great - Asked for a non smoking room. Room smelled of smoke, the bed was a full size and only had one pillow. The TV did not work.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just OK - It was OK - just the basics I needed - a clean room and a comfortable bed for a night. The building itself is old; the trash cans were overflowing with trash and the exterior smells of urine.
The area is next to the highway and train tracks, so is not the quietest place.
As I said, just OK.
- dru chavelo (10/5): - Proper
- dru chavelo (10/5): - It was proper
- Curtis (2/5): - The staff asked me to check my room before paying for it. Am glad they didn't charge me first. Seemed most of the people I saw walking around the complex looked as though they were homeless and transient. Did not feel safe. Room smelled of heavy smoke, and this was one of their best available rooms. I felt sorry for the staff.
- Cheryl M (2/5): - This is one of the worst motels I have ever seen. Do not stay there
- David (6/5): -
Motel had limited resources, But staff was friendly. They did the best they could with what they had to work with.
- Brian (10/5): - Great staff
- Ricardo (2/5): - Didn’t even last 10 minutes after paying for my stay. Walked into the room and it was big infested, cockroaches everywhere you looked at, even inside the microwave. I’m still trying to get my refund but the manager is playing hard to get, and supposedly only the manager can do the refunds.
- Ariamna (2/5): - This Property is super dirty full of trash 🗑 everywhere. The rooms are falling apart. In top of that they charged my CC 3 times. When I arrived at 7pm they has canceled and also charge my cc then try to get a room for about 1hr both rooms given where falling apart I ended up living and going to another hotel. Weird movement going on at this Property.
- robert (2/5): - scarry homeless people hanging around dirty lobby junk in lobby
- Ashraf (2/5): - I reserved a non-smoking room as I have asthma. When I arrived at the facility, I was told that all the rooms are smoked in e en those labelled non-smoking. I checked the room and it was heavily saturated with smoke odor. I did not check in and left disappointed. If you know your rooms are all smoked in , you should state that clearly in your ads. Deception will ruin your reputation.
- Rey R (2/5): Look elsewhere, don’t - Horrible experience! Rented and paid for hotel days in advance. Called that same day to find to advise I’d be checking in late. They told me they didn’t have a room for me since they had overbooked. Had to look elsewhere.
- Alma (2/5): - This Hotel have a "0 " never in my life saw this kind of nasty place. Pay less money for this is no faire, because this hotel in Houston is great 5 stars...with this hotel in SA give terrible fame to this Eco l please take out this hotel for service...have infront of my nasty room outside a pepble drung on the floor, drugs, dogs in the rooms. Wow the worst place .
- Wendy Alejandra Salguero (2/5): - This place I will NOT recommend. It is not safe inside out. Drug dealing and consuming inside and out including employees. My room was already someone inside I just couldn’t stay I called orbitz and they made arrangements to put me in a different place.
- Robert (2/5): - This property is a dump! No room service, no amenities and. You have to get your own towels and soap from the front desk!
- Angel (10/5): - Great staff good location. Will keep booking
- Edwardo (2/5): - Switched my room three times along with my girlfriend and two of my friends no shower curtain boot prints on the bathroom floor stains on the toilet stains on the sheet no TV in either room. Only one towel to share among four people and I was told I couldn’t get any more dried up food under the bed the third room the sheets were off the bed on the floor pizza boxes everywhere like if somebody was living in it the worst experience ever.
- Angel (8/5): - Friendly staff and good location.
- Larry (2/5): - It appeared that the room was being remodeled and was no where near ready for occupancy. There was no light fixture in the room with the bed. Instead there were two open electrical boxes. There was no shower curtain. There were some rods to hang clothes on, but no hangers. The property was old and run down. We were very disappointed.
- Angel (10/5): - Staff is friendly and helpful. WiFi isn't that great but it's a hotel I would recommend.
- Cheryl (4/5): - The property looks nothing like the pictures in the website. The girl at the front desk was pleasant, but it was still a terrible stay. Check out is at 11am, they start pounding on your door at 10.
- Tyrone (2/5): - Very upset with this property. I purchased this room for my son, who is in town for Christmas. The TV is broke and does not work. He reported it and we asked if he could switch rooms that has a working Tv, they said no. We asked if they could bring a working Tv and they said no. Very poor customer service and management.
- Leticia L (2/5): Worst hotel ever - Only thing good was the a/c. No trash can, only a big towel and small towel, ask for more they said we would get some at 8am next day, that they didnt have any. Never got any. Toliet seat was not even bolted down, shower head had water coming in all direction. Curtian was almost falling. It was bad. Filthy outside too.
- Eric (2/5): Bad - I was unable to stay there
- Matthew (10/5): - Toilet seat falling off, sink wouldn’t turn off, curtains falling, counters stained
- Josue (4/5): - The reason for my review was due to the restroom not functioning properly, we also had trouble with the air conditioner. I highly recommend that the property be checked for cleanliness around the property and for proper functions of the hotel room. Thanks
- Christy (6/5): - Everything was dirty
- Verified traveler (4/5): Think twice - Well we walked in the room there was no fridge nor the remote to the tv and it smelled so bad. The beds smelled and the mattress must have been over 20 yrs old as hard as it was it was not cleaned but I couldn't leave since i had already paid. If i would have known it was some other hotel and now named econo i wouldn't have booked it. I am sorry but everything about this place was false advertisement. I wouldn't recommend it. It was ghetto scary residents and smelled horrible
- Adam (2/5): - Felt unsafe. Dirty room. No carpet, but VERY apparent that floor is never cleaned. Bugs in room. Bathroom had only 1 towel and ONLY 1 roll of toilet paper. No tissues.
I wonder if this place is used as low in-come housing, because there were plenty of people that were very obviously permanent residents. This ranks in the top 2 for worst hotels I've been to. Would not recommend and strongly advise against anyone else staying here.
- Cristina (2/5): - It needs a lot of updating, it looks like it’s been closed down or something.
- Luke (2/5): - Bed bugs and winos.
- Jaccob (4/5): - Missing normal things such as multiple towels, a mini fridge, a working tv remote, a working smoke detector (the battery had been taken out and battery door left open so it was obvious). Not the best area in San Antonio but I should have figured that out by the price.
- Heidi (4/5): - Fix shower head. Either tile floors or rugs.
- Luis (6/5): - Place is getting remodeled. Lots of trash outside.
- Jeffrey Teart (6/5): - Staff was very courteous at checkin. Property had a nice pool conveniently located. Location was in distance of several dining location. However the room refrigerator did not have a microwave or even a working refrigerator. The property is located next to train track so beware of loud noise at night.
- Miguel A. (2/5): - When I arrived to the hotel, it didn’t look like the pictures in Expedia. The hotel didn’t look safe, so I decided check out immediately and look for a better option.
- JOSE (6/5): Never happened before !!! - I choose pay at property and they charge my account prior I get to the property and we’ll before my check in window expires.
- Jennifer (2/5): Terrible roach motel - The place was nasty. The front desk clerk was on the phone which was on speaker to an inmate. She was rude and very unprofessional. We got our key and the room was open dirty and just overall nasty. This was like a place prostitution and drug deals happen. We didn’t stay. We went back to the clerk and said what happened and she said ok that’s it. I will be expecting a refund. We checked in and back out within 5 minutes.
- Ashley (6/5): Roaches - Great nights sleep but when i woke up i saw roaches in the bathroom and in the pizza i ordered.
- Marilyn (4/5): No picture - the room was dirty and still had dirty towels. I think the price was too high for how bad the place is. a bad impression as far as trash everywhere in the building
- Alan (2/5): - Friendly staff but this place is located in a very rough side of town.
- Jacinto (2/5): - Very dirty and the rooms smelled bad.
- Tiffanie (2/5): - The Black girl they have working over night CAN BARELY READ AND IS VEY RUDE TO EVERY ONE DONT KNOW WHAT THERE OROBKEM IS THE TOOMS ARE TRASHY,DIRTY,stuff left behind from the previous residents ,tvs don't work or are not hooked up properly toilets overflow maintenance NEVER COMES AND THERES ONLY SHOWERS NIT A FULL TUB
- Sherry (8/5): - The staff was extremely accomodating and helpful. They were friendly and efficient.
Getting to the location was a little tricky, but close to the places we wanted to visit.
- David (2/5): - The place was apparently recently made into an Econo Lodge. All signage from the frontage road said something else. Ice bucket in room but when I asked where the ice machine was, I was told there wasn’t one (so…why have ice buckets in room?). Very flat pillows. Poor mattress. Only a dirty sheet on the bed had to go ask for a bedspread or blanket. Condition of entire property is very rough. In poor area—just a couple of buildings down from an “adult” establishment. EXTREMELY noisy with road traffic.
- Diana (2/5): - The bathroom where dirty looks like they haven’t cleaned the toilet and shower in a while
- Guillermo (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay peace and quiet. Friendly staff and welcoming
- Jeffrey (6/5): Meh - Staff were friendly, check in was quick and easy. the room left some things to be desired. The room was just generally dirty, big black dirt ring in the shower, dead roach on the floor when I walked in. The area felt slightly sketchy too, lots of people loitering around the parking lot. I’m pretty sure the property is under new management so things could improve with a little time.
- Daniel (4/5): - Well the property/place is no longer the super suites, it's now an Econo lodge. So when I showed up they did not honor my booking & (over) charged me full price rates & gave me a beat up room where some of the things did not work!!
The wi-fi was pretty good & it was reasonably quiet too.
- Omar (8/5): - It was good. Can't complain but the towels could've been whiter. Overall it was good enough for the price.
- Jessica (6/5): - The room could be a little more clean but other than that the place wasn’t bad and the service wasn’t to bad either
- Bond (2/5): - Nothing in the motel worked, staff was terrible and rude wouldnt even accommodate us for tv, lights, shower etc not working properly. Towels and sheets were very clearly still dirty. Two broken down cars in the parking lot that were being taken apart and worked on, very unprofessional
- FRANCIS (4/5): - It was my fault for not thinking. The very low price should have been a dead giveaway. Online pictures very deceiving though. The place was dirty inside and out, and in disrepair. The price was fair based on the condition of the premises but the pictures on Expedia would lead you to expect it to have been better.
- Matthew (2/5): - There should be a warning on check in time I could’ve made it but I didn’t know there was one.Even if I sleep in my car here until someone gets in the office it doesn’t matter because it’s been canceled
- Jaime (4/5): - Not clean at all!! Wifi doesn’t even work, key card stoped working also
- Ruben (6/5): - Shower was a bit dirty
- Teresa (8/5): - Was very quiet and beds were comfortable
- bernabe (10/5): vacation - Stay was great. Clean room and good price. Nice staff
- Nina (2/5): No wifi in room - Nice staff, Wifi didn't work in our room. No matter how many they said it was reset. For a work trip not great.
- Leslie (4/5): - Front desk was rude!!! Asked for a downstairs room and got an ugly look and was told they were for handicapped only….
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room smelled musty. Sheets & blanket smelled like they had not been changed or cleaned. I took off the sheets & bed cover & found a soiled sheet with blood & whatever stains. Shower handle kept coming off, difficult to position. Half roll of toilet paper not enough for 2 days.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Hated it there
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Was ok
- Andrea (8/5): - Hotel was ok but old. Beds are ok but noise was bad from people upstairs both night hitting the floor and making noise almost all night and outside noise was bad as well. My son and myself did not get that much both and spent all night fiesta tx and came back and was not able to get sleep. Over all place is ok
- edward (2/5): Please let the manager read this - The service was awful. The front desk had no communication skills or did not seem they wanted to be there. My first room given did not even open, the door handle was broken. The second room smelled like smoke and had cigarette burns in the sheets. The floor was spotted with paint and black stuff. The air conditioner did not work at first but then there was no control in temperature in the room. The tv remote did not work and it had to be turned in manually. And to make it worse the tv did not work, the screen was just pink with lines. The sink had to much water pressure that it would hurt my hands. The bathroom did not have a trash can. If there’s anyway I could I would want at least half my money back. It was terrible
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Was not able to stay because I would not give them 30$ cash “deposit” without receiving a receipt for it.
The lady came to the desk barefoot with a night gown on.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - did not appreciate roaches in the room, parking was great....
- Steven (2/5): Not Super and Not Sweet - This place was run down and dirty. It is no wonder that it is an independent motel because no chain wood ever approve the place. The white linens and towels smelled okay but were gray from stains. The sidewalks were gross and in need of pressure washing. The exterior and interior both needed work. There were junk cars sitting on blocks, barbecue grills and junk sitting outside of rooms and just messes everywhere. The place is also in a seedy neighborhood with sketchy guests who were up all night making noise. The only normal feature that the place exhibited was a cold air conditioner.
- Jesus (4/5): One too many - Bogus and not worth the hassle.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - When we arrived at our hotel, the hotel was dirty and the dirty was swept under the bed. The walls were dirty and there was lint all on the bed. And there were bugs. Very disappointed
- Jessica (6/5): - It really needs alot of tlc
- Verified traveler (2/5): NEVER AGAIN !! - This place is terrible, they had a bag covering the fire alarm, holes in walls. The floor was so sticky from something(I dont know what) towels where very dingy, looks like the whole should be tore down. Would not recommend specially if you have kids.. Very shady area. Lots of people just and walkinf outside. NOT A SAFE PLACE.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - IN DESPRATE NEED OF MAINTENANCE. TOWELS IN ROOM WERE FILTHY AND LOOKED USED NO LAMP ONLY ONE OUTLET THAT WORKED. I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Meh - The first room I got was sketchy. It’s me and my kids and they put me in a room with an adjoining door. The guy next door tried to come through. A hotel worker busted my door open, yelling it was time to check out the first morning there when I had the room for a week. Another worker came and moved me due to my complaints and into a room with working tv. I still had to sanitize the entire room and found it was just as dirty. For the price though, I stayed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a good stay
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This place sucked super dirty and bad people are living in there
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was expensive only one paper roll, COLD WATER staff advised I would have to work with what was available paying $170 for two nights and having to shower in cold water was definitely a bad experience. They need new boilers or something.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Didn’t like it looked trashy and very noisy
- Rohith (2/5): - Room 252 no shaver head, towels don't looks like washed,TV not working, overall I got bad experience with this stay.
- Paul (6/5): ould of been better - Well soap in restroom looked use and all crack. One towel to use for four people but good thing we brought extras guess place is just to lay down then get up and leave
- Verified traveler (6/5): - the sheets and towels dingy and stained up but okay roaches in room no vending machines and just weird atmosphere
- Verified traveler (2/5): Nope - Rude staff
Locked me out at 10am because they “thought I already left”
Wouldn’t let me back in
Lock to door didn’t work
- Andy (2/5): - OMG where to begin??!!
The most horrible terrible place to stay! If you like to sleep on blood/sperm/body fluids bed sheets and pillow cases, then this is the perfect place for you!
The Bathroom was just another nightmare! Please be nice to your self and stay in your car which I’m sure it’s 1000 times cleaner.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Too nasty - Rated negative stars - It was perhaps the most disgustingly filthy cheap motel I've ever had the displeasure of staying. In fact I did not stay the entire night after cleaning the bathroom. Long black hair stuck to the floors, walls and shower curtain. The shower curtain was moldy from the bottom up 4 or 5 inches. The fan ficture in the bathroom wasn't covered. The light fixture in the front room wasn't covered (but the light cover was sitting on the bathroom sink). I took pictures and wish I could send them to you. In this age of COVID-19 and who knows what's next, this cheap motel is undoubtedly going to be an epicenter for the next epidemic!
- SUZY (2/5): - Nothing! there was homeless people living in the hallways. there was hair ( a bunch of it) in the shower. the bathroom was nasty dirty. beds were dirty, I don't think they ever washed the sheets. Nastiest place I have ever seen. Plus for the dollar amount they were charging, should be a sin!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nasty is too nice to say about this place. Go elsewhere.
- Verified traveler (4/5): :( - tained everything and a cockroach
- Verified traveler (2/5): - the room was dirty and had roaches i also didn’t like that there was dirt on the floor
- Brian&Patricia (10/5): - They make you feel very welcomed. They are updating the property. This place is going to be the 5* talk of san antonio soon.
- V (6/5): - I like the staff they are friendly. I dislike the constant noise after 10pm and tenants being loud
- Matthew (4/5): - For spending 50
- Marc (10/5): - Was a good hotel and has a room with an old car as a bed
- Verified traveler (2/5): - You get what you pay for!
This place was awful!!! There was no security lock on door. I put The white towels, wash cloths and sheets were dingy. They were closer to a light black color. I killed 3 roaches. When I turned the heat on, the casing around the a.c./heater unit fell off from the vibration. The refrigerator was so loud, I had to unplug it. I was moving so I had towels in my car and I only need a few hours to sleep. Only good thing - it was a smoking room...and luckily I had my own ashtray!! NEVER again will I do cheap hotels.
