- Mark (5/5): EXPENSIVE FOR A PUB! - Great location. Waitress didn’t look happy when I requested 6 poached eggs for breakfast, (nothing else!) Bar & food prices far too high as was the room rate, after all this is a pub not a 4* hotel! Car park open to none residents so very quickly became full, many staying at the pub couldn’t get parked!

Second night and following morning there was no wi-fi (my colleagues staying in other rooms had the same issue). Breakfast took 30 minutes to arrive at table on Saturday morning...

Late night entry system very helpful. Great breakfast. No lift (Although this was mentioned in the details when booking). Had to carry my case upstairs to room 29. Also bath very slippery, would definitely benefit from a bathmat for the older guests.

- April (8/5): Fine for the price - The ship is in a great location and has a good buzzy atmosphere. We thought the breakfast was okay as was the evening meal . We had to ask for cups , milk , sugar etc. as they were not brought at breakfast . The waitress brought them happily The single bed mattresses were well worn and not very comfy . The shower handheld head was unusable as li leaked from the tube . It would have been good to have a non slip shower mat

- Mattia (8/5): A peaceful overnight stay in a relaxing location - Well-maintained, comfortable and welcoming property. Flawless check-in available until 11:00 PM. Excellent on-site parking and a well-stocked breakfast. The only "fault" was that we found the room radiator turned off, and the temperature in the hallway was warmer than in the room. Since we checked in after dinner, there wasn’t enough time to bring the room to a comfortable temperature for the night.

All staff were very polite, courteous and nothing too much trouble, manager Mike was very helpful prior to visit to ensure we had a lovely room with the view of the marshes . Highly recommend Nothing

We had an issue with the TV connection & as it couldn’t be fixed they moved us without any trouble next door. Breakfast was superb. Will definitely stay there again.

Not necessarily any fault of the place as everyone is different but the mattress for our backs was not comfortable so the sleep was not the best.
