• Bernd (10/5): Perfekte Gastfreundschaft - tolles und sehr gepflegtes Haus inmitten der Altstadt - unser Aufenthalt ist mit 10+ zu bewe - Ein außergewöhnlicher Platz wie man ihn nur selten findet. Die jahrhundertelange Geschichte dieses sehr gepflegten Hauses generiert eine großartige Atmosphäre. Die Eigentümer sind perfekte Gastgeber und informieren auch über das Notwendige hinaus herzlich und umfassend über Altamura und die Region. Zudem ist das Haus Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen und somit ideal um diese tolle Stadt mit ihren zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden. es war alles absolut perfekt und somit kann die Beantwortung dieser Frage guten Gewissens ausgelassen werden.😊

• John (10/5): Fantastic experience in Altamura - The place was incredible! The place is rich with history and charm. We were greeted by Andrea who gave us some of the history of the B&B and then quickly provided us with suggestions for a great experience in Altamura. He had a map and pointed out what to see, where to park, eat, bakeries and points of interest. We followed his suggestions and found they were all spot on. He then escorted us to our room, turned on the heat for us and explained all the amenities. Our room was very nice, comfortable and quiet. There was even a small kitchen. A gift for each of us had been placed by our bed. Breakfast the next morning was very pleasant. At checkout Andrea followed up with us on our stay and took time to give us tips on what to see in the surrounding area which we greatly appreciated. It was a great experience. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Die Gastgeberfamilie gibt einem das Gefühl, so richtig herzlich willkommen zu sein. Vorab bekommt man alle wichtigen Infos, wie zb die Lösung der Parkplatzfrage, rechtzeitig per WhatsApp geschickt. Und vor Ort, wenn man sich dafür interessiert, erzählt der Junior-Chef viel Interessantes über die Familie, den Palazzo und die Stadt. Es war uns ein großes Vergnügen und wir haben es außerordentlich genossen. Danke für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

• Virginia (10/5): Delightful stay in Altamura - Malandri B&B was a delightful stay! Our host was kind and extremely helpful. He helped us with parking, luggage and directed us to a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were perfect. The location within walking distance of the restaurants and local sites. This was much better than Bari. We loved it here.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, gaben uns Tipps für Besichtigungen und Restaurants. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Zimmer und Bad sehr geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet.
• Helle (9/5): Dejligt ophold, søde mennesker og bestemt prisen værd - Udsøgt service, virkelig god introduktion da vi ankom og så havde vi glemt at skrive, at vi kom som veninder hvirfor der var linet op med dobbeltdyne. I stedet for at besvære yderligere skiftede vi til to værelses lejlighed. Vores kufferter blev båret op og da vi skulle videre blev vi kørt af ejeren fordi der ikke er taxi i byen. Opholdsrummet var ikke så hyggeligt, men meget praktisk hvis man skulle sidde og spise. Nedenunder var en sofa- men kun set. Jeg ville have elsket et par lænestole i fællesarealet. Vi tog stolen fra det ene værelse ind på det andet og så var alt godt.

• Ruut (9/5): B&B Malandri: historie in het historisch centrum - Wat een mooie kans om zo'n prachtig historische woning (500 jaar oud), eens van binnen te mogen zien. Wij zijn hier in Maart en er waren weinig gasten, waardoor we de beschikking hadden over een eigen etage. Het sanitair doet misschien wat gedateerd aan, wat zijn charme heeft, maar alles doet het. Onze kamer beschikte over een balkon. De B&B is midden in het historisch centrum gelegen, vlak bij de kathedraal. Altamura is een prachtige stad als je van historie houdt. Andrea was onze gastheer. Deze rol vervult hij als geen ander! Eigenlijk niets.

• VANIA (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato al B&B Malandrì ad Altamura e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo. La stanza era molto bella, spaziosa e accogliente. Il bagno enorme con doccia doppia. La cucina è ben attrezzata e dispone di tutto il necessario, il che rende il soggiorno ancora più comodo. La posizione è ottima: il B&B si trova in pieno centro e nelle vicinanze si riesce facilmente a trovare parcheggio. Il proprietario è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, ci ha anche dato ottimi consigli su cosa visitare nei dintorni, rendendo la nostra visita ancora più piacevole. La colazione è stata davvero eccezionale, con tanti prodotti fatti in casa, tutti molto buoni. Se dovessimo tornare ad Altamura, sceglieremmo sicuramente di soggiornare di nuovo qui. Daarna een stukje uitleg over de stad. Wat is de moeite waard is om te bezoeken, wat en waar je lekker kunt eten. Andrea spreekt perfect Engels dus dat helpt wanneer je de taal niet machtig bent. Je krijgt alle info ook nog via whatsapp. Zelfs in je eigen taal. Super lief. Als er iets is zijn ze goed te bereiken en ook voor leuke tips in de omgeving. Je appartementje is knus, gezellig, erg netjes. Bedden zijn heerlijk. Je zit midden in de stad dus voor een goed restaurant of gezellige bar hoef je niet ver te lopen. Ontbijt is heerlijk. Lekkere taartjes. Je komt niets te kort en ze hebben zelfs tijd om gezellig even te kletsen. Heel persoonlijk allemaal. Bijzondere ervaring. Dus niet verder zoeken en hier boeken!!!!!! We hadden wat pech met parkeren omdat we wat later aankamen en het best druk was in de stad. Je krijgt genoeg opties aangereikt via de whatsapp. Gelukkig hadden we net buiten de stad een plekje en de 10 min lopen was het meer dan waard.

The property has been beautifully renovated; rooms felt clean, crisp, and refreshingly modern while still retaining the building’s historic soul. Sleek updates and thoughtful design touches blend seamlessly with classic details, creating a space that feels both new yet timeless - a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The hosts, Giuseppina and her son Andrea, made our experience unforgettable. As we entered through the charming arched courtyard, with its bistro tables, potted plants, and stone steps leading to the guest rooms, Andrea greeted us warmly. He helped with parking and luggage, shared wonderful recommendations for exploring Altamura and the surrounding area, and instantly made us feel welcome and at home. We stayed three nights in a spacious two-bedroom, two-bath suite that was both inviting and impeccably maintained. Each morning, Giuseppina prepared a delicious and healthy breakfast, served with such warmth and care that it felt like we were a part of the family. We also had opportunity to visit her charming shop, Erboristeria Varvara, which features the Italian L’Erbolario line of herbal/natural products. After some personal guidance from Giuseppina, we left with a few incredible fragrances (unobtainable in the States), and help with scheduling much needed in-room massages! This was -without doubt - one of our most memorable B&B stays. Our only regret is not discovering Malandri B&B just a few months sooner as we were selecting our daughter’s location for a destination wedding in the spring! (Would have been perfect for family, friends, and the honeymooners! ) With its romantic atmosphere, welcoming hosts, central location, and beautiful attention to detail, Malandri B&B earns a full 10 out of 10 from us. • ana (9/5): - EXCELENTE. RECOMENDAMOS Fomos muito bem recebidos. A Giusseppina e o Andrea são muito simpáticos e disponíveis. O quarto é incrivelmente bonito, amplo, muito limpo e confortável. Tem tudo o que precisamos para uma estadia perfeita. A localização é ótima, mesmo no centro. Os pequenos-almoços são incriveis (bolos e tartes caseiras) servidos no palácio, que é lindo. O Andrea enviou sugestões ótimas, que nos proporcionaram descobertas e momentos inesquecíveis. A Giusseppina foi muito atenciosa durante a nossa estadia, preparou o pequeno-almoço dos nossos filhos para levarmos para o quarto, para que pudessem descansar um pouco mais. Uma estadia perfeita. Um espaço encantador. Obrigada!
