• elliemaym_13 (2/5): To say horrible is kind - Not anything like the photos. Go somewhere else. This was a time share swap out, we were told it was a boutique hotel. Translation dump. Upon arrival I thought I was in the wrong place because the main entrance is next to a porn shop. Wrong. The front desk told us 50$ for an early check in, it was 30 min and the room was ready. The promised breakfast was taken away from us I don’t know why. The quaint pool is about the size of 3 king sized beds and very shallow. It is shared with the bar next door and anyone can go in it. One small threadbare towel is provided per person. Locals take their young children there. AC barely works in the bedroom. Shower head is so bad it gets everything in the area wet except you. The drains backed up and onto the floor after a 5 min shower attempt. Furniture is old and beat The rooms aren’t clean either. I’ve been to nicer Motel 6’s in New Jersey, for a fraction of the price.

• angelad452 (10/5): Amazing apartment, great location and enjoyable stay! - I had an excellent stay at this hotel, one of the best I ever had, considering the price. I was in the master double bedroom suite, which was very large, with a bedroom, a living room/kitchen and a bathroom. But what surprised me the most (which wasn't in the description of the room) was that I had a huge private terrace all for myself! The apartment was in great condition, I loved the decor. It had a fridge with a freezer which was key considering the hot temperature outside, so I could stock up ice creams and cold drinks. There was AC and also 4 ceiling fans, which made it very pleasant. The location was perfect, in a super safe area just round the corner from Avenida 5, with so many options for shopping and eating, and a supermarket just a few seconds away. The ADO bus station is just 12 minutes away Just a couple of things, which did not affect my score as my stay was very enjoyable: 1. The breakfast is served in a cafe' next door, which was very good just there were only a couple of options free of charge: an omelette or a chilaquiles, whilst in the room it said that waffles were also an option. I am not used to salty breakfast and in any case I got a bit bored of eating the same thing after a few days, it would have been nice to have a few more options, including some sweet ones. 2. The apartment has a stove and a microwave, however no cutlery, plates or pots, which would have been very helpful. I definitely recommend this place to everyone staying in Cancun!

• S (8/5): Muy recomendable - La ubicacion, la relación precio beneficio, las instalaciones, la atencion Me.he quedado fácil 5 años seguido en ese hotel y la vdd muy agusto por eso vuelvo, pero cada q regreso cambian algo pero no para bien, en 2025 cobraban un costo adicional si.manchabas las sábanas hasta de.maquillaje, lo.menciononporq antes no lo hacían, no me.molesta pero si es incomodo estar al pendiente de no manchar. El desayuno deberia tener.un.poco mas de tiempo de tolerancia al menos una hora mas. Teníamos que pedir el control remoto y q nos.pusieran el.servicio de tv en recepción si no lo pides no está activo default
• ekisge (4/5): NO TIENE COCINA. - El tamaño de la habitación estaba bien, el complejo es tranquilo sin ruidos y bien ubicado (aunque la playa cercana no es la más bonita y huele mal). El lugar de desayuno es lo mejor del hospedaje. NO TIENE COCINA!!! Dice que tiene cocina y no está habilitada. La habitación no cuenta ni si quiera con algún plato o cubiertos, pedimos prestados tenedor y cuchillo y nos apuraron para que los devolvamos!! Solo cuenta con una cafetera horrible y un microondas, vasos y tazas. En esos términos nuestra estancia fue decepcionante ya que reservamos ese hospedaje por su valor UNICAMENTE PORQUE DECÍA POSEER COCINA. Malísimo eso. A eso se le suma que el INTERNET NO FUNCIONA.

• Hanna (1/5): I do not recommend this hotel at all. It is not worth the money, the stress, or a ruined vacation. - The only positive thing was a front desk employee who genuinely tried to help ( Jennifer). That’s it. The hotel is clearly misleading. What is shown in the booking photos does not match reality at all. We were placed in a room that looked nothing like the one we booked. On the day of arrival, we immediately asked for the room shown in the photos. The pictures showed a large bed in the living room, but there was no bed there at all. We were told that this room was under maintenance. At the same time, the hotel had a higher-category room available, but they refused to move us there unless we paid extra. They also refused to issue a refund. The condition of the room was terrible. Everything is old and worn out, and the bed linen had stains. There is no shower door, so it is impossible to shower properly — water spills everywhere, flooding the bathroom and the hallway. The floor becomes slippery and unsafe, and you have to mop the water just to reach the toilet. The “kitchen” exists in name only. There is a stove, but no usable kitchenware — only two glasses and two cups. Calling this a “room with a kitchen” makes no sense. The furniture is unsafe. There are protruding nails in the bedside tables, which can easily damage your belongings or cause injury. This is a safety issue, not a comfort issue. Breakfast is another story. It is served only until 9:00 a.m. and includes just eggs and pancakes. The children were given menus with pictures, but when they tried to order from them, they were told that everything shown was available for an extra charge.

• Erwin (5/5): Muy descuidado el hotel - La ubicación El hotel en general está muy descuidado, no todos los días, hacen el aseo de la habitación, las toallas te las pueden cambiar cada 3er día, el desayuno incluido es muy limitado si quieres agregar algo mas tiene costo extra, una de las personas que estaba en la recepción tenía una actitud como de flojera el trato con la gente.

Que no halla nadie en recepcion despues de las 12am Había otra chica en especial que al menos yo lo percibí asi como un regaño, me toco que se fue la luz & llegue como a las 12am al hotel, tarde un rato afuera en lo que habrian ya que era eléctrica, mi madre busco al personal en un cuartito que tenían atrás de recepción no logro encontrarlas, al rato salen las chicas supongo que tenían algunos amigos hospedados ahi porque si no fuesen porque le mandaron mensaje a algunas de las chicas que les abrieran me quedaría afuera, cuando entre me preguntaron que si cuanto tiempo tenia afuera, que ahi hay una hora que se cierra & no abren despues de cierta hora esto me lo comento una chica delgada con lentes cabello largo, cuando no las encontrábamos en recepción percibíamos su mala manera de atender se le decía buenas noches & no contestaba, Fue lo único que no me gusto.....de ahi fuera las 2 chicas que yo conocí de recepción muy amables la que supongo es la administradora & la gordita✨

What I didn’t like was that our toilet was barely flushing and the sink water kept pooling up. however, we told the staff and they resolved the issue. Overall everybody was nice and we were treated nicely.

The double suite I got was large and spacious. The location was great. It was convenient to the beach and to 5th Ave and lots of dining options. The staff were really great too. I would definitely stay there again.

I don't think there is any filling in the mattress. I had a horrible time trying to sleep on that bed. Other than that, everything else was excellent
• Oleg (8/5): Perfect location, good value for the price, spacious rooms. Service needs to be improved. - ​We stayed at the hotel for 12 days. Its location is ideal—just a short walk to the Mamitas beach and 5th Avenue, and conveniently close to the Mega Soriana store, there is also 7eleven next door. The rooms are spacious, providing ample comfort. Breakfast offerings are generous and flavorful, ensuring a satisfying start to each day. Small kitchen helped a lot when travelling with kids. During our stay, we encountered an issue with the shower drain. When we requested assistance, we were informed that a plumber would attend the next day; however, no one arrived during the remaining two days of our stay. Additionally, we suggest introducing two more breakfast options to enhance variety for guests.

Las señoritas de recepción es muy amable y eso mejora mucho la experiencia. La ubicación es muy buena. Las camas muy incómodas y el horario de desayuno limitado. Las áreas comunes no fueron limpiadas en 3 días pues la misma basura en la escalera el día que llegué seguía ahí. Sin embargo en general es buena opción.
• Mohammad (3/5): I was tricked by the photos! - The staff were nice but the rooms were just disappointing! I was tricked by the pictures and upon arrival to the room i realised i got scammed! The room was not clean. There was no kitchen equipment, the fridge didn't work, the bathroom was mouldy and dirty. Overall it was not worth it and could have stayed somewhere better with the same price.

• Edmundo (8/5): - A nice choice, near the 5th Avenue (a big plus) and the Mamitas Beach. You have plenty of options for food and beverages. The property is interesting very holistic. The room is enormous! The thing i didn't like is that my TV didn't have cable or... service... I needed to ask ay reception about a Rokú to watch... nothing, because it was blocked by a PIN that i didn't had... The wi-fi was good, but you need to connect to other network, not the one that the info tells you. A big plus: the breakfast, plenty of options, but the only day i was there, i ask for the chef's recommendation, and it was a fail... they didn't gave me anything else.

• Klára (1/5): Not recommended - Disappointed. We arrived to the hotel, which the first of all looks little suspicious with the sex shop right next door, but the main problem was the smell in the rooms (we travelled with kids) and the rooms were not that clean. So we asked for the refund (it was +- 1350 Usd, which is not cheap and also we had to book a new apartment for an extra - not small - cost) and nobody talked to us for 2 days. Then we received a message on Whats app if we can send a proof (not sure how to send a proof of bad smell). After 3 weeks of texting back and forth we have been offered a voucher for our next stay in the same hotel (absolutely not), in Mexico City, or Chiapas valid for 6 months, which is for us as europeans something we will never use. So I kept asking if I can speak with some higher manager of the company and been left on read. Really not nice nor professional, I’d not recommend the stay at all.
• tammy (10/5): - Friendly staff, room was always clean. Breakfast was always delicious, pool was in shaded area of property so we chose to use the roof top pool across the street which was perfect. Also the beach was a block away as well as famous 5th Ave. Very ideal location with inexpensive accommodations. Simple and favorable property conditions with 24 hour staff. If your on a budget this place was great!
• John (6/5): - Wifi does not work in the bedrooms. They only cleaned twice in a 7 day stay although we had asked them on two different days to clean and said they would but didn’t. We booked an extra night with front desk at a certain price only to back to pay and it was a much higher then told. We didn’t extend our stay.
• Juana (4/5): Great location and excellent customer service - No hot water in room 201. Mirrors slightly dirty. Sheets/pillow cases smelled of body odor. No WiFi, no tv that worked. Good location, excellent customer service, made every effort to appease problems, was provided with free breakfast at nearby restaurant which was very yummy. Nice atmosphere, gardens. Rooms were larger than expected and nice. Bed and pillows were comfy for enjoyable sleep.
• Sharonne (1/5): Bad - The dorm room is like a mini apartment. The beds are the worst. The springs from the mattress will poke you. The mattress looks new, but perhaps the worst quality sold. There's absolutely no padding in the mattress. I was unable to have a good night sleep my entire stay
• Dave (2/5): - The state of the place shocking and the service. The noise form the stress is so loud. When I checked in I was given a bed sheet, so I had to make my own bed and the sheets were so thin. The utensils in the space hardly exist and the one that are there are flirty and dirty. It was use and no one washed them. I asked the staff about directions to travel, his answer was I don’t know and asked me to seek the tour operator which scared me. I believe the hostels and the tour operator are connected There is no hot water. The air condition was never switch on so the room was too hot and the place is dirty.

• Neslihan (1/5): No lockers for storage and no keys for room - Location was near the main avenue No lockers to store your backpack. No key for the rooms - anyone can enter the dorm room. I've stayed at numerous hostels and it's the first time I experienced not having lockers for storage and not having a key entrance for the room. I did not feel safe so I stayed somewhere else. They did not refund me.

• Quinnesha (1/5): Uncomfortable Warning if any emergencies the manager doesn’t care.. - The decorations in the lobby Warning this place is trash.. none of the staff speak English & it’s impossible to speak with the manger.. I was falsely accused of something because my privacy was invaded.. I have many safety concerns especially being that no one speaks English.. the cleaning lady was rude and nasty .. the place smells bad with a moldy mildew smell.. the showers are gross & the water splash’s everywhere it’s impossible to keep your hair dry while showering.. the lady that was staying in my room was messing around in my belongings I caught her on my camera but I couldn’t report her because no one speaks English.. my stay was horrible I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.. The air only comes on at night time & during the day it very hot and stinky.. definitely need remolding asap.. all the fisher are outdated which made it uncomfortable to cook anything..the staff will laugh in your face & speak Spanish thinking you don’t understand but I use google translate to only realize I was being talk about, very unprofessional.. They took pictures of my personal items & tried to extort me to pay a find which made my stay uncomfortable..The WiFi doesn’t work in the rooms & the pool chairs a dirty , you can’t sit on them they need to be cleaned & so is the pool i didnt use the pool because of these reasons..The buck bed are for kids you can’t even sit up without hitting your head , very uncomfortable..

• Chelsea (8/5): Great stay for a couple of nights - The room was comfortable but next to the washing so it’s quiet loud plus it’s bright in the room with the blinds down. Breakfast at Mr.waffle isn’t bad and worth a bite so no complaints!

• Lydia (2/5): - Very very noisy, cannnot sleep with the band playing at the bar downstairs, beds are old and hard, they have net done the housekeeping even if we asked for 2 days, this is a hostel do not expect much. Only good thing is the breakfast, good choice of eggs, but have the tea as coffee no good.

• Thomas (2/5): Bruised up lady and toddler - Fell down the stairs since they decided to use plastic slick paint on the handrails which are also covered on tree gunk, the stairs are steep with a few remnants of anti slip strips, those are nearly eroded from I suspect are multiple falls. The staff heard the commotion and witness the bruises on myself and my toddler, their answer was to evade the topic and just indicate that they couldn't take care of it because of bad weather, some rain. On the last morning there was a block energy blackout and of course this dingy place had no back up power, which led to us precariously trying to not fall again while climbing the death stairs now without any light to help find the last remnants of anti slip strips No TV service, bad WiFi, bad toilets. This place is lucky I'm not litigious which might be what has led to such an abismal service.
• Giulia (9/5): Nice stay - The structure is old . During my stay nobody was in my room but me. For the female hostel you get your own bathroom and living room. The staff is very helpful but don't speak English. The position: bit far from the beach but close to the main street. Not hostel vibe

• Olivia (6/5): - Too much noise in the street untill 1 am, there are security video cameras but no keys or no ways to lock the door, anybody can come in wherever they want to. Overall, the staff is really welcoming, the areas are clean, the breakfast is delicious and the location is okay !

El que tenga alberca e incluya el desayuno es excelente. Muy buena ubicación. La atención de las chicas de la recepción es muy ágil y amable. Excelente relación precio - servicio.

• Jörg (8/5): - Santuario Playa ist wirklich eine coole Location. Außergewöhnlich ist schon der erste Eindruck… Gebäude und Innenhof alles in mexikanischem Altrosa, was auch gut zur Deko passt. Das Zimmer welches wir hatten, „Master Suite“, war modern eingerichtet, großzügig mit eigenem Wohn- und Essbereich, einer kleinen Küchenzeile und großem Bad… neu renoviert (ca. 35€ pro Nacht). Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass am ersten Tag der Safe-Schlüssel nicht auffindbar war und das obere von zwei Schlösser an der Zimmertür nicht funktionierte. Dies wurde aber am zweiten Tag zügig repariert. Wir hatten trotzdem immer das Gefühl dort sicher zu sein. Nachts war extra noch ein Wachmann am Eingang. Die Umgebung ist auch sehr gut. Gleich rechts neben dem Hotel ein Oxxo, wo man Getränke und Kleinigkeiten kaufen kann, eine Straße weiter ein paar coole Bars mit Life Musik und um die Ecke schon die 5ta Avenida, die Fußgängerzone. Der Strand ist ebenfalls nur einen Block weg (ca. 10 min Fußweg). Die Strände im allgemeinen sind sehr sauber, allerdings in manchen Bereichen sehr schmal, da die letzten Hurrikane viel weggespült hatten. Bester Strandabschnitt ist vor dem Hotel Mahekal, in dem man auch Essen oder Getränke bekommt oder einen Tagespass kaufen kann (in der Nebensaison 1200 MXN pro Person All-Inklusive!). Alles in allem kann ich das Santuario Playa absolut empfehlen.

Terrible service! Stay away from it!!! Avoid booking because if you have any problems, they won't try to help you; they only care about money!

• Patti (8/5): Very good - I was very lucky and had the dorm to myself, the pool is excellent and staff is very helpful and friendly the cooker wasn't working and the breakfast was below basic
• Ojvind (6/5): Pleasant - Nice pool for cooling off. Okay breakfast included, with friendly restaurant staff. Room AC is not turned on until 9pm. Digital nomads should know that wifi in room was nonexistent and very weak in the kitchen. This leaves the patio (hot in the day, mosquitoes in the evening). There is no system for cleaning up fridge and bathroom after old guests. Fridge was full with old food (off-season!) and there were clothes hanging everywhere -- same clothes after nine days.
• Clara (7/5): Good - lovely garden space, full of plants and flowers. comfortable room with separate living room / kitchen and bathroom. nice internal decorations. average breakfast, served in adjacent cafe rather than in the property's lovely garden: why? nice kitchen with hob and sink, but no pots, pans or utensiles: why?
• Scyi (2/5): - They advertised free wifi but there was none in the only air conditioned room. Air conditioning was only from 9 pm to 9 am and you couldn’t turn it on. They came into your room with the remote. The hostel rooms had no locks on the bedroom door OR on the hostel communal rooms. It felt very unsafe. There was no storage big enough for a suitcase. I had to fight for over two weeks to get a refund after I checked out after one night. There was extremely loud music blasting until midnight. The best thing going for it was the instagram worthy exterior.

So tem um sanitario e um chuveiro pra atender a dois quartos com capacidade para 10 pessoas. A decoração externa é linda, a piscina é otima e a recepcionista so falava espanhol
