Guest Reviews

- Ruan (6/5): - Good location Pretty hot, bed was not comfortable
- petr pecher (7/5): - Pohoda a klid, úklid na vyžádání kdykoliv. Mohli by občas vyprat moskytiéry, z důvodu zaprášené sítě, jsme jí nepoužívali a potom ti mravenci no.

- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Linde (7/5): Good - it has the best location and its very cute! And the staff was helpful we rented a motorbike there. And when we wanted to pay they said we had to pay way more because I was “late” but it was just written down wrong
- Leah (7/5): Not the worst - Cheap and private room Very loud if rains and get bugs everywhere but is also to be expected so not that bad
Bathrooms were not clean at all tho
- Matthew (9/5): Superb - Had an excellent experience here. Very comfortable, good mosquito net, hammock out front, etc. The fan kept it perfectly cool at night, may have been hot if you wanted to sleep in or nap though. Free drinking water and helpful hosts. Toilets were fine but nothing special. A bit awkward for tall people getting in and out the bungalow.
- Bella (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (4/5): Extremely rock hard bed - Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, I woke up in physical pain, could not sleep. I tried putting the spare pillow, towels, my blanket and the lounge pillows they provided to add some comfort and none of it worked. However, the staff did an incredible job keeping the shared showers and toilets spotless, would never know other people were using them. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful. Would’ve loved my stay if not for the horrible bed.
- Marta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Uwe (6/5): Simple standard for high price - We booked a bamboo bungalow with individual bathroom. Arriving at the resort, all such bungalows were closed and we had to accept a shared bathroom with defect toilet.
For 1.000 Bath per night it is very over-priced.
The bed was comfortable, the mosquito net was defect and after midnight we could not sleep due to loud conversation in the neighbour bungalow.
- Baptiste (7/5): Good -
- Lucy (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - This place truly exceeded all expectations! The facilities were top-notch, everything was well-maintained, and the atmosphere was incredibly comfortable. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease.
The location was great—convenient and beautiful. The cleanliness was impeccable, and it was clear that the staff took great care of the place. Speaking of the staff, they were absolutely fantastic! Friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed.
We definitely got great value for our money, and we would come back in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay with amazing service, this is the place. Highly recommend!
- Adrian (8/5): Very good -
- Jack (7/5): Good -
- Ross (10/5): Great little happy huts - We loved our stay here.
Great little happy huts which also had a kettle in the room, this is a nice touch. The shared toilet are the cleanest in Thailand!!
The family are so nice and helpful! We rented a motorcycle from them but the breaks were not very safe
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional - Simple, east and your own space with a hammock, what more so you need.
- Mixalis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Wonderful - My wife loved the hammock and could have swung in it 24 hours a day! The hut was cute and the mattress was comfortable. The shower/toilet block was always immaculately clean, with staff attending to it multiple times a day. The family running the place were always helpful and friendly. We both banged our heads on the door frame as it's lower than we were used to. We learned to duck! 😃
- Iona (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hannah (10/5): Amazing little place. - Immaculately clean, super friendly, great value for money. Simple with everything you need. We loved the fan rather than A/c. It cooled funny perfectly at night. Really quiet at night and super friendly staff. Thank you so much! We highly recommend if you're looking for simple clean and cheap cabins. Never known such clean shared bathrooms, so do not be put off by them! Nothing
- Adek (10/5): Great value-for-money - I stayed in one of their basic bungalows with fan. Everything is very clean: the toilet, the sheets, towel.. there are also amenities in the room (water heater, glass, tea, coffee). Great location (in front of main road but not too exposed, near 7eleven). They also can help with trip booking, loundry and bike rental. Very warm host. Def. Recomended if you are looking for value-for-money There are roasters in the garden. If you are light sleeper or not used with them, it might bother you. But for me, these roasters even make the vibe more authentic rural Thailand
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (10/5): Great people friendly & very welcoming! Thanks for having us stay <3 - This place is amazing !!! We love this place
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place! The huts and toilet were super clean, the accommodation had free drinking water for the guests:) lovely place to just chill, I really recommend bamboo huts as a super cool nature experience
- Sergio (10/5): Exceptional - Well, the Dorm and Garden is just amazing, I would love to buy even one like this, I've been 2 nights and extended 2 more.. atmosphere so peaceful and nice showers, toilet, All nice and clean.. I just love it! Nothing to complain! If back in Koh Lanta definitely I will check ✔️ in again! Thanks so much.. gardener and Reception team really helpful! Highly appreciate it! Nothing, all was good.
- Jelizaveta (9/5): Superb - Lotus flowers at the entrance very beautiful 😍Very responsive hosts.Location is great - very close to the beach and lots of green areas around. There are few beaches close by - you can choose which one is better in high tide(mostly morning) or low tide( mostly evening).Few fruit stalls, veggie restaurants, and supermarket 7/11 is 5 minutes walk.
Nice green territory with few bungalows. Neighbours listened music a lot - some days from 9 a.m.till very late evening. This spoiled tranquility of the place a lot
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Felicia (10/5): Exceptional - really lovely place. nice people.
- Fabius (10/5): Good Budget Accommodation - you get what you see, in my opinion very comfy and price worthy -
- Michaela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trinidad (8/5): Very good - the bungalow was spacious enough and bed was comfy it can get pretty hot, and the bathrooms were not so clean, lacking soap every day i stayed so that makes me think they don’t clean daily
- Cécile (7/5): Good -
- Jessi (10/5): Exceptional - Ideal place to rest, located very close to the beach and with all the facilities to make tourist plans. The family that runs the place is beautiful and always willing to help with everything. They have a washing machine service and motorcycle rental and it is safe and close to 7 eleven and ATM. The room is comfortable, has a fan and mosquito net. Super recommended for those who like adventure. You should better know how to drive a motorcycle. It is the best way to move around the island. But not their fault, of course. There is always a taxi option it is just more expensive.
- David (7/5): Good -
- Leandro (9/5): Superb - Well located, clean and comfortable. When we did the check in the guy of the staff was cero helpful and seemed we were bothering him with our questions.
- Jane (4/5): Room for improvement - Friendly staff To difficult to get into the bathroom it doesn’t have proper steps, just 3 metal bars. Water was available for drinking but left in 30° heat all day.
- Linnea (1/5): Bad - Nothing The room was dirty and they had bedbugs. We left in 5 minutes and did not get our money back.
- Gracie (10/5): Sweet and well located great accommodation - Really sweet individual accommodations, clean and welcoming, great location to the beaches and restaurants. Would certainly stay again.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natalia (7/5): Good - It was just as described. All clean. Unfortunately it got quite hot during the day and we decided to move to a nearby hostel. This was our mistake as we should have anticipated this really. I think the staff were annoyed that we left but we did not ask for a refund so not sure about that.
- Bourdais (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean
- Ludwig (8/5): we will comeback - Very good location. The owner gives very good information for location bikes, excursions, ...
- These_nomadic_travels (9/5): A place I keep returning to... - I have stayed here on many occasions over the past few years, whenever I visit Koh Lanta I stop here.
It is a nice peaceful place with a chill vibe.
It is opposite a 7/11 so easy to get supplies.
They have a restaurant although I generally only have breakfast.
Staff are always helpful and friendly, and it is away from all the noise and tourists yet close enough to get most places No complaints as such, although I stayed here for several weeks at a time, a place to put clothes may be useful as there is limited space but a set of drawers would easily fit in.
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Loved it. Totally relaxing in me bamboo hut - Loved staying in the bamboo huts, it was like 30 years ago on all the main locations on the beach. Staff and up keep of property
- Jürgen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aliquis_ (10/5): Authentic - Super tiny bamboo bubgalow, authentic, close to the beach and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Guest were smoking weed at day and night. It was annoying to have this weed smell even at night. The bamboo bungalows don't block smells or noise. The same was with loud music beside or guests, pissing on the bungalow walls. It's not a owners issue, it's disrespecting guests behaviour.
- Caomhan (3/5): Sleepless nights with a hefty blood tax to pay to the mosquitos. - The hostel was great value for money. This hostel was very good value for money. They have pictures of elephant riding at the front desk. Staff did not look happy at all to help compared to the rest of Thailand. We were charged 450 baht to rent a scooter and an extra 150 to fill it up 😂. We filled our scooter on the island before for 40 baht off a gas station. I found this strange as any time we rented a scooter it had a full tank and we were to leave it back with the same amount of fuel on it. There were gaps in the bamboo cabin and at night there was easy access for mosquitos, lizards and other bugs of the night. There was a net but going to the toilet was out of the question in the later hours. There was one fan in the room but it did not help combat the humidity. 5am prayers started, projected through a larger speaker accompanied by the sweet melody of chickens bawking all night.
- Hannah (7/5): Cheap enough for one night. - The check in was smooth and easy, the reception desk were very helpful 😊 I think the beds need to made up with the mosquito net already over there (as in the pictures). It was hard to set this up alone & as a result I ended up with 12 bites unfortunately. The fan in the room was stuck on setting one and I couldn’t turn it up, down or off (I had to unplug).
- Ania (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay in those bungalows! It was very comfortable and chilled place, near to the beach, 7-11, and to some restaurants. Staff was always helpful and nice.
- Dany (7/5): Good -
- H. (7/5): Good -
- Jason (9/5): Extended my stay because its great - Everything, I stayed here for 4 nights prior to this and extended by another because it meets everything I’m looking for, cheap, nice friendly owners, WiFi, free water, private bathroom (some have shared for cheaper price) location is great 5 mins from beach and 2 mins from the 7-11 store Roosters… 😃
- Jason (10/5): Excellent as always - Everything was great, the location, the owners, the price, I used to stay here during Covid in 2020 and wasn’t sure it would return, great to see it has. The current owners are people I have known for a few years now and it is my go to place when on Koh Lanta.
Expect rustic no frills with very cheap pricing and you will not be disappointed No complaints, it’s so cheap that if you want more luxuries pay more and stay in the proper rooms instead.
Although I’m not friends with the local rooster who likes to wake me up at 5:30am lol
- Catterall (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in both traditional hut and apartments, both very clean and comfortable, staff were brilliant and extremely helpful with every aspect of our trip, including motorbike hire, excursions etc, family went above and beyond for my injured friend, will 100% be visiting again on m next visit to Koh Lanta! Thank you for making our stay more enjoyable than imagined :) Nothing that I didn't like!
- Conner (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gloria (10/5): Great value for money! - I stayed in the bamboo bungalows, lovely little bamboo huts with a porch and hammock. I stayed 4 nights in the ensuite and extended my stay 4 more nights in the shared bathroom ones. I'd go for the latter, the shared bathrooms are very clean and the bungolows are wonderful. 5 minutes to secret beach, close to all shops and the hosts are lovely and willing to help for whaterver you might need. The facility also offers tours, motorbike rentals, laundry and food at very good prices! Highly recommended! This is a minor thing but the shared shower are cold water only! Ensuite bathrooms have hot water instead.
- Liam (9/5): Superb - Hosts spoke good English, willing to go beyond.
- Samhemphrey (5/5): Passable -
- Liam (10/5): very very cheap and very good value for money, coming back in a few days to stay out the month there! - the bungalow was small, comfy and very cozy, the fan kept the room cool, very clean! no creatures bother you, not many mosquitos, they give you a plug in mosquito repellent! very good! I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like, was better than most hotels!
- Elena (7/5): Good -
- Rowan (7/5): Island lifestyle: cheap and outdoorsy - Cute huts with private bathrooms. Fan worked a dream at night but didn't seem to help much during day time. Nets provided for mosquitos which helped. Very clean and clear water in comparison to our experiences in other accommodation and restaurants in koh lanta. Really quiet at night. Laundry services left clothes smelling nice. Lots of light come into the huts so have to hang lots of towels and clothes across the slits. Mosquito net slightly ripped/ didn't fit a double bed very well so still got bitten. Due to lots of gaps there were lots of mosquitos and bugs on Mattresses and in bathroom whenever we came back tiny blankets not very convenient for a 6'3" man or even my 5'5" girlfriend. Very screechy doors so can hear neighbour's. Scary cat on balcony kept hissing at us.
- Megan (5/5): Very basic bamboo hut. - The shower was hot (most have been cold in our Thailand trip) and very powerful. Mattress was fairly comfortable. Close to 7-eleven where you can also get TukTuk or Songthaew, close to restaurants.
Pleased to get linen, towels (which smelled clean) and shower gel. Once over the novelty of a bamboo hut they are not very desirable. Full of bugs, our insect net over the bed was full of holes. Fan not very powerful so hut was hot all the time. Private toilet is a concrete shed at back of hut with a horrible urinal smell. No where to put anything in room or hang clothes/unpack (other bamboo huts we've stayed in have had this).
Literally no idea who the staff were, no reception. We wandered up the road and found some unmarked huts and couldn't find anyone/a reception. Finally whilst wandering the area with luggage a woman stopped us and said key was in door. There was no 'check out' possible, we just left. And told the restaurant we had gone as we think they were possibly something to do with Befaanny.
When booking it wasn't actually clear this was going to be a hut, we booked a double fan room.
- Catherine (7/5): Good - Small basic bungalow. Doors creaked. Steps down to bathroom steep. Bungalows very vlose yo one another, could hear everything going on.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - The fellow travelers No toilet rolls when we arrived cushions would have been nice for the outside. Somewhere you could make a hot drink and a reception area would be good
- Esther (7/5): Good -
- Stephanie (9/5): Great, clean and good value for money! - Great price, comfy rooms, great location, very clean. Would be nice to have some chairs in the outdoor space
