Guest Reviews
- Alan (10/5): - Very welcoming. All that we needed.
- Baljit (10/5): - Loved it. Peaceful and quite.
- Robert (2/5): - Owner refused to honor our Travelocity reservation. He said he did not want to be bothered with the paperwork. He would not open door to office & told us to leave.
- John (6/5): - nice area. water was only warm. couldnt connect to the internet
- Leonid (2/5): - Owner stopped working with Expedia three months ago. I was turned away at 2 in the morning.
- Verified traveler (8/5): An adventurous traveller's dream motel - Where can you have a thermos full of fresh hot coffee, made just how you like it, delivered to your room in the morning? At the Country Inn-I95 located on State Highway 17 in Eulonia, Georgia, USA. Due to the aging nature of the vintage mid-century modern motel, when I arrived to my room I made a point to list everrything that it did have, instead of what was missing. The list of positives is long, but the most important to me was a squeaky clean room and bathroom, a great bed, and a generously flowing hot shower. It was one of the best showers ever! Way better than much pricier chain motels I've stayed that were lacking those basics. Like a powerful exhaust fan to keep down the steam, fluffy towel, and fully tiled in vintage blue. The owner Mr Inder was very attentive to make my stay as a single woman traveller both comfortabel and safe. If you enjoy off the beaten path, small town individual service, this is the place for you! If you demand luxury or shiny new everything, this would probably not meet your needs. Personally, I loved it and hope to stay again whenever I manage to get back to the beautiful historic Golden Coast of Georgia. Hopefully sooner than later, because Mr Inder told me that he and his MD wife have plans to convert their property into a medical facility in the future. I do hope they can preserve the building and pool with its mid-century modern architectural features and character.
- Myken (4/5): - Office was hard to get to. Room had dead bugs on the floor, strong cigarette smoke and a musky smell. Looked as if people live there year round and they used whatever room was available for guests. Was told they only had a queen bed available when we arrived even though I booked a room with 2 double beds. When I complained to the gentleman working the office he then showed me a double bed room as an option. I will say after we told the gentleman that we would not be staying there he did refund my credit card without a problem.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst Hotel Ever - This place was absolutely terrible. There was dog poop on the floor as well as the shower not working. The man serving us was extremely rude and unhelpful. Would never stay here again.
- Patrick (2/5): - This was nothing like the pictures. The room had roaches, black mold in the AC, bathtub was black. I want my money back.
- Judith (2/5): - Not worth saving a dime over. the property owner was rude and everything was shabby. the room was neat but uncomfortable, with NO amenities at all. the floors were dirty the sheets were clean but had holes in them. The tenants on either side of our room were loud and appeared to be living there. Just an overall Yuck!
- Weston (2/5): Money grab - Was not allowed to stay due to property owner not honoring the price I had booked under.
- Randolf (2/5): - When checking in i had to stay outside. Horrible customer service
- Chris (8/5): - The manager would not honor the price quoted on Expedia, and told me that he had tried to correct this with Expedia and they wouldn't listen to him. It was only an additional $4 a night so I didn't get too upset. The room was small but clean, and had a comfy recliner chair, small fridge, and microwave. No coffee machine, but the manager delivered coffee to me in the morning. For the price and intended use, it was just fine.
- song (2/5): - Terrible
- Melisa (10/5): - The staff was courteous and very friendly. My stay was pleasant, safe and confortable. Good place to stay if you’re passing thru. Will book again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It's old and hasn't been updated, but it's a place to sleep.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Well, it’s a two stars. For a reason. The neighbor was two loud that I ended leaving early because I could not sleep. The guy in the service disk was rude. Not coming back. It’s cheap for a reason.
- Brittany (4/5): - The owner seemed nice and as badly as i would love to give the inn a 5 star on that alone, i can't. The floors were very dirty, toilet overflowed in to bathroom before we got there and I know that is the source of the water because it tried to overflow when we used it. TV, a mini fridge, two chairs, a table and a lamp were the only amenities offered. The rugs in the room were covered in filth and need to be replaced or deep cleaned.
- Rebecca (8/5): Great for the price - The man who runs the motel was very kind, but difficult to understand and seemed confused. He didn't know how to operate his credit card machine, didn't know that we had already made a Hotels.com reservation, and had NO clue how much we were supposed to pay him. The motel is pet friendly and clean. The bed was a decently soft memory foam, that was inexplicably squeaky, but still comfortable. There was a mini fridge with freezer and a microwave in our room. Not a 5 star accommodation by any stretch, but if you want a cheap, no frills place to sleep for a night or two, then it's not bad. Especially when you consider the price!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice place to rest
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner was very helpful and friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place to stay. Friendly staff, non-smoking facility.
- Jason (10/5): - Nice place. Out of date but clean and confy
- Verified traveler (10/5): - clean and cozy- perfect for an on the way stop
- Kevan (8/5): Good Enough - Surprisingly good for the price. Big and clean room. The bed was comfortable enough, the AC was cold, and I felt safe in the area. A short walk across the street has you at the only restaurant in town. There aren’t many motel options in the area but this place will serve its purpose without regret.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Out dated
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There was a nice pool and grounds. Outside the place looks okay. the problem s that inside the place looks institutional, in total disrepair and depressing. the owner is a very very nice man but he is 84 and I think he has trouble keeping the place up.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - STAY AWAY. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE, THE "GENTLEMAN" WHO CHECKED ME IN WAS OUT OF SORTS AND ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT THE PRICES I WAS PROMISED BY HERE, HE STILL CHARGED ME WRONG. HE WAS RUDE, UNCLEAN, AND TREATED US TERRIBLY FROM THE MOMENT WE GOT ONTO THE PROPERTY. THERE IS A WORKOUT BENCH ON PROPERTY THAT IS PROBABLY A SAFETY HAZARD, THE AMENTIES, NONE.. IF YOU PLAN TO LITERALLY JUST SLEEP; MAYBE. BUT I HAD THE LATCH DONE UP AND THE DOOR LOCKED AND WOKE UP WITH THE DOOR CRACKED OPEN... WOULD NEVER STAY HERE.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy access off highway, room was clean and bedding comfortable. TV, fridge and microwave too. When you just need a place to rest your head with none of the frills of a more expensive place, this place fills the bill.
- Rawni (4/5): BED BUGS!!!! - Not the best neighborhood, had some “shady” characters hanging around but not terrible.
Overall it “looked” clean, but realized a few days later they have BED BUGS!!! Terrible itchy bite marks all over my body!
- SebCam (10/5): - What I liked most about this property was the staff who felt like a family from the first moment I arrived. They would do everything possible to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was very clean and tidy, I was able to relax and feel at peace, which ensured a good nights rest. It was very easy to adjust the air and water temperature to my preferences.
- Peter (10/5): A good nights sleep - Very hospitable and family friendly hotel.
- Sylvia (10/5): l’ll stay here again. - Great, clean room. Nice touches, friendly and accommodating owner. I’ll stay there again next time I pass though. And a good, inexpensive restaurant right down the street....Pet friendly, too
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I must say everyone at this property was extremely nice the property is walking distance of the convenience store and also walking distance of a Dollar General although I had to bleach my own room as I would do anywhere I go this day was comfortable
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was a basic cinder block room with two beds, two chairs and a coffee table, and a couple towels. No trash can, no fridge, no bed side lamps or anything extra was provided. It was clean, as in no dust, but the floor was unfinished in spots and there was no kitchenette or even a desk or table and chair, even though there was plenty of room for one. The shower head was old and barely dribbled out water. It was quiet though, thanks to the cinder block walls, I'll give it that!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing was good. The drive thru to enter the property is filled with holes. The pool has water from the rain inside. Also the property manger or owner thought it was funny because I’m trying to provide a place for me & my girlfriend @ 3:00am.
- jacob (2/5): a place not to stay in georgia - run down , needs maint.& pest control to kill all of the roaches we saw in the room.dirty sheets on bed also the management could care less about any of these issues or refund of amt paid.dont even think about staying here, the swimming pool was , well guess for yourself yes it empty of water. wow what a dump of a place.avoid this place
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok in a pinch - My stay was ok. It worked for what I needed in a pinch. The man running the place was nice and friendly! The room was ok. The toilet wasn't bolted to the floor and moved really bad if sat on. The AC never would run for more than about 10 secs then shut back off and would smell like old wet towels and the refrigerator stunk really bad and wasn't cold so I couldn't even use it.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Property needs updating. Upon checkin they gave us a two bed room only hours later to tell us they made a mistake & our reservation was for only one. But since it was their mistake, we did not have to repack & move. We only stayed one night because we were traveling on to Florida and didn't sleep well because there was a party in the room next to ours that lasted till 3am.
- Jonathan (6/5): - It was ok
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Old but nice and clean. Easy to find. Great for families.
Ekelhaft!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I was rejected by the owner that He said he did not receive any confirmation letter.
