Initially I was in a room next to the construction site which has a big trash pile in front of it, I asked to be moved, which was no problem. The second room had wonderful views, nice and warm and very clean. Highly recommend.

Phil (6/5): - The highlight of this motel was definitely the stunning views—absolutely beautiful! The bar and restaurant areas were lovely, with a nice atmosphere with a mix of locals and guests and tasty food. Our room was decent, and the bed was super comfy, complete with a cozy electric under blanket and a pair of slippers, which was a nice touch. There were a few downsides: the road nearby was quite noisy at times, though it did quiet down overnight, so it was manageable. Unfortunately, there were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, and I ended up getting bitten a lot during the night. Also, the doors were very squeaky—something that seems like it could be easily fixed! The cleanliness of the room could use some improvement, especially behind the furniture where it looked like vacuuming hadn’t been done in a while and the bathroom floor wasn’t very clean with hairs. Overall, while there’s room for improvement—particularly with cleaning—I still had a good stay and would be happy to return.

Mark (6/5): Adequate for an overnight stay. - Despite our arrive just before 4.00pm our room was not ready. It had mostly been serviced but the bathroom had not been completely cleaned. It was nearly a half hour later before we were able to get into our room. The people were kind but it was not what we expected for the price we were paying. The restaurant provided good quality pub/club food which we enjoyed. Despite being on the highway, it was quiet. Eventhough it is obvious that renovations had been done, a few exterior tiles had fallen off the walls and a couple of exterior electrical conduits were exposed. The view from the balcony was wonderful both at sunrise and toward sunset. The room was quite small but nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable.

Damon (8/5): - Rooms were comfortable and warm. Bed was good with nice linen. BUT...T.V did not work so couldn't watch the Olympics. Also some fool parked his huge ute and trailer diagonally across several car spaces so that us and a few of our friends had to park out the front of the pub.

The heat was cranking all night and it just couldn't keep up. I'm no princess but it was less than seven degrees in the room that next morning. I'll definitely stay here again. But I'll bring my own electric blanket next time.

Verified traveler (6/5): Skip the deluxe quad. - We stayed in the Deluxe Quad. Deluxe it was not. Tiniest hotel room I've ever stayed in. No room to bring to the suitcase in so each morning or night, one of us had to go to the car to get clothing! Beds were warm and comfortable. Kids loved patting the goat visitors. There is a lot of building/renovations going on and there is a bit of rubbish laying around due to that. In the pictures on the website, you can see a chain link bridge thing, one thinks that this is on the hotel property. It is not. Apparently it's further down the road somewhere. I asked a staff member where it was and she didn't know. Not very helpful as we were looking forward to it. Coffee was good. Food was good and reasonably priced. I don't know if we'd stay there again.
Joachim (8/5): - The property provides convenient, reasonably priced accommodation and a cosy dining experience in the pub or lounge. The log and gas fires in the pub were wonderful on a rather chilly evening. The private bathroom being located across the hallway and not in the room was a bit of a surprise, but the bathroom is newly renovated. (Also no fridge in the room as per the amenities list).

Rooms are located away from the pub so no noise issues. The pub dinner was great. And again, fantastic views. Highly recommend
Camila (2/5): - It wasn't clear that the en-suite wasn't located within the same bedroom, which had been inconvenient as we have to leave the room to use the bathroom. Additionally, the balcony is shared, and the blind doesn't cover all the windows, allowing street lights to shine in and making us uncomfortable with people outside. No small refrigerator, no water bottle to drink.

Had a coffee in the morning but the sugar satchels had hardened they’d been there so long Live music played till around midnight from downstairs- well a guy and his guitar Will never stay here again

Janice (10/5): - Rooms are modern and small, but have all normal amenities including large screen TV and mini fridge. But sink had no soap and there were no tissues. Spotted cobwebs on outside of door and behind toilet. But bed was comfortable and the smallness of the room wasn’t an issue as we left big luggage in the car and weren’t in the room for long. This hotel has fantastic views from the rooms and the bar and restaurant and the resident cat is extremely friendly and cuddly! Also saw sheep, lambs and llamas grazing outside. Disappointef that breakfast wasn’t available until 8:30 and restaurant didn’t have much dinner variety, but typical pub fare. All in all this was a good value despite some shortcomings.
Vikki (6/5): - The property is newly built which is nice. But the room is really small for 4 people. There is not even floor space for opening up suitcases. The shower hot water kept dropping to cold, and it splashed outside of the shower flooded pretty much the whole bathroom floor. One of the beds sheet got a blood stain on it.
LING (4/5): - pro: 1) friendly staff. 2) Great food served in the bar - with enough portions. 3) Excellent view to enjoy the valley. 4) Fun to watch the sheep nearby. cons: When I checked in, I had the impression that the facilities were not fully prepared for hosting. A few examples: - The screen door was not properly installed, and there was a significant leakage, leaving room for mosquitoes which was a disaster during my first night. - There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. If you need fresh air in the bathroom, you have to open the window completely, but there is no screen on the bathroom window. - When I checked in, the room was not as clean as I had hoped. Along with dust. - Room 2 has a balcony that is shared. However, the balcony is not as clean as anticipated. There are empty food packs, and the outdoor chairs are not clean.

Natalie (8/5): - We had a really lovely stay. All the staff were friendly and kind. Room was clear and was exactly what we were expecting. The views from the dining room were absolutely stunning and made our stay. Kids loved seeing the sheep and the black and white Llama’s in the field as well.

Denise (2/5): Accomodation Service Fail - My partner and I stayed two nights . No where is it noted nor were we told upon checkin that two nights doesn’t qualify for our room to be serviced. We returned to our room at 11.15 pm to no service in our room . Bed unmade , wet towels ,no milk for the coffee tea they provide and NO toilet paper top up . I was u able shower before leaving No dry towels when I raised this with the staff next morning I was told “ we don’t service two night stays” sorry about that ! Seriously no offer of a towel to gave a shower ( I did tell her I couldn’t shower ).nor the offer of even a coffee from the hotel was so unhappy didn’t get to raise the security sensor light that when activated lights up your room like daylight at 3am , it is aimed at the rooms . For $300 you would expect so much better given the hotel is in the middle of nowhere . Cheaper city motels offer so much more . Will not recommend and will not stay again

It was extremely clean, except the shower floor had some gritty type dirt, almost like it was cleaned from the last person’s stay but left for a few months. It was a bit strange having our private bathroom across the hall, though it looked like a brand new renovation, the faucet nearly fell off when I first used it. We also weren’t able to use the beautiful bathtub as there were water restrictions at the time of our stay. The staff were wonderful and very accomodating, and the view was absolutely stunning. Great place to stay if you’re heading to Jenolan Caves for a tour.

Chelsea (6/5): - After coming to stay after a big day of hiking in the nearby blue mountains, all we wanted was a hot shower and a good sleep. Started by getting the wrong room, but promptly changed after we mentioned the error. Our room was very clean, but has a tiled floor which is so cold it burns your feet in the middle of winter. No carpet or rugs either. Went to have a shower to warm up and the shower was a light misting at best. Which made it feel even colder. The shower door doesnt slide over the bath mat so that was crumpled up. Floor got quite wet from the mist of the shower spraying out once i turned it on before i got in. The dinner at the pub was lovely and the views are heavenly! Went back for a good sleep and the bed and mattress was loud as hell from putting a small amount of weight on it. Couldnt roll over without loud squeaking. The neighbours was the same as we could hear them having a special time next door. After i finally fell asleep i awoke later in the night from the bright lights in the carpark shining through the frosted glass door panels which was right in our faces and super annoying. Air con heating was good. No toaster or anything, only kettle. Could have used another blanket as well for winter. Just wanted to have a peaceful sleep without our kids but it wasnt enjoyable. Sorry
Neil (8/5): - There are beautiful views from this hotel which is in a picturesque rural area. It was cold whilst we were there so the fires (gas & log) in the hotel and the reverse cycled air-conditioning units in the accommodation were much appreciated. Some soft floor coverings in the accommodation units would add greater warmth and comfort. Staff were very friendly and obliging. The atmosphere in the bar area of the 'pub' was relaxed and jovial. Dinners were ample and tasty, breakfast & coffee great. We all enjoyed our Hampton Half-Way Hotel experience!
Jo (8/5): - Whilst the room was styled well, clean and warm, the shower was terrible. So many hotel bathrooms forget how important a decent head head is, this is an inexpensive fix that makes such a difference to travellers. The shower door couldn’t be opened without the floor being flooded making it slippery and uncomfortable to use. The rest of the amenities were lovely, the pub was cozy and the bed comfortable and the sunrise on the deck spectacular.
Louise (4/5): - Suspect building regulations may not be met. Only pizza in the “restaurant” (ie pub) on Monday nights. Other nights have limited menus too. Family room (3 adults & 1 teenager stated at booking) ridiculously squished with basic furniture removed to fit in wobbly bunk bed. No wardrobe or clothes storage of any kind, no table, no toaster. We had to climb over our suitcases as there was absolutely no space but the couple of feet between the beds … the air conditioning did work and we were warm. NOT what I expect from a Wotif property.
Doug (6/5): - The room was very small but the ensuite is very good. Unfortunately the room was poorly insulated with a draft wistling in around the sliding door frame. The air conditioner was not working properly and there was no Doona on the bed. Spent a very cold night rugged up in day clothes to keep warm. Staff were helpful and the morning shift cooked me breakfast even though he had not been told it was required. Breakfast really needs to be properly organised as there are no cafe's closer than half an hour away.
James (8/5): - Great view food absolutely brilliant rooms are comfy but tv needs upgrading no Netflix internet reception from your phone to hotspot is sporadic hotel should provide a hotspot even if you have to pay a few extra bucks but it was really peaceful though and great 2 days

Lucy (4/5): - Don’t bother. The pictures are misleading. The property was clean but that’s about it. The bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked loudly with every movement, as did the floor. We could hear the conversation of the couple in the next room CLEARLY. Trucks blasting past all night, waking us every few minutes. Our room had no bathroom and we had to walk to the end of the hall to use a separate bathroom, which was highly inconvenient. The bathroom itself was set out as though the person who built it had never thought about how it would actually be used. No counter to put things on, no hanging space for clothes or towels, the hot water to the bath wasn’t hooked up so couldn’t use it, the shower leaked water all over the floor, and the toilet brush had a strange cover on it that made it impossible to actually use. Very limited meal options and the only vegetarian option was unavailable. The door leading up to the hotel rooms was locked each night and still locked at 9am both mornings we were there, despite the cafe apparently opening at 8am. On the second morning we came down and found we couldn’t get out (again), a man was waiting to be served in the cafe and saw us through the door, he told the server at the cafe that we were stuck and they didn’t do anything, after several minutes we ended up going back up the stairs and then down the external stairs with our big suitcases. Never again.

Charles (2/5): - The worst place I have ever stayed. No breakfast available, or any means to self cater. Not even a teaspoon to eat a pot of yoghurt. Rooms not serviced (ran out of teabags). Piles of poison pellets behind the fridge. No chair in the room to sit on. Dreadful!
Adam (4/5): - Nice view. Tiny room in need of a vacuum. Springy soft bed that squeeked at slightest movement. Nowhere to hang or put clothes. Plastic cover under sheet. No wifi. No staff available at breakfast - Incorrect. Left a day early and had no reply regarding our refund request.
Joanne (6/5): - Whilst neat and clean, it will be better when it's finished. Also need training in motel management.
Jennifer (6/5): - Very cramped room for two people. No seating or inside table.......outside chair and table available in the rain. Best suited to one person accommodation. Very noisy all night with heavy road transport.Great small hotel and good meal
Wayne (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights; the rooms are a touch small ( nowhere to hang clothes ) and the ensuite could do with a fan extractor to help with the steam. The service was excellent, especially the young man behind the bar (very helpful) Meals were good and generous.

Stella (8/5): - Grouse little country pub with friendly locals and good views, good pizza and ice cold beer.
Ben (8/5): - Helpful staff with nice rooms, great Aussie pub to have a beer or dinner. if you want a five star hotel go elsewhere - the locals at the pub downstairs would probably appreciate it :)
Farhana (8/5): - Excellent view.
Andrii (4/5): - Looks modern from the outside but it is no good. Very small rooms. No reception at the property. No wifi. Noisy environment with drunk pub guests having loud conversations past 1 am. Property feels unfinished and poorly constructed. Do not recommend.
miguel (8/5): - Hi. Was a very pleasant stay expert for the fundraiser noise. We had a late arvo and come back to barely finding a park for our stay. Wasn’t for big screen tv to block out most background noise from fundraiser we would t have a good rest. Well done with renovations. Thanks staff
