- Faye (9/5): - A lovely hotel, with attentive and supportive staff; let down by the food. Breakfast was limited, and what was on offer was poor, except for the cut fruits. On my first day, I had dinner in what looked like a promising little cafe/patisserie attached to the hotel. I ordered the Korean pork and rice dish. The rice and BBQ pork were stale. The cook seemed to have mixed some fresh rice and pork with stale rice and pork. About 1/2 the pork pieces were soft; the other half were like bullets – completely inedible. The pieces were so hard and dry; I can only surmise that they had been microwaved several times over. The following evening I decided to try the hotel's rooftop restaurant. I ordered the beef fry; half the pieces of beef were ok, and the other half were dry, hard and inedible. Serving dry meat fried/grilled/microwaved to a crisp is counterproductive. I would stay at the hotel again. The hotel even offers free do-it-yourself laundry! The hotel team was excellent. However, i would definitely avoid the stale, overpriced food and bland breakfast. Others not available/out of stock. Remembered like hostel breakfast. There is a supermarket in couple of minutes and you can get everything there. Indian food delivery app orders can be ordered and collected from reception. Staffs were nice. Not much explored the area as I need only a night stay. Booked large double bed but got two bed joined together which was inconvenient to us. For Individuals ok.

- Michiko (10/5): Exceptional - The team looked after me very well. They are all kind, smiling, and responsive. Excellent teamwork. Laundry facilities are available for the guests to do their own laundry. If staying for long, this would be very handy. In the morning, continental and Kerala-style breakfasts are served on the rooftop. I really enjoyed Kerala breakfast, which is different every day. Simple but tasty food gives a good start to the day. This is definitely a home away from home.

- Jane (9/5): Superb - My budget room was spacious, well equipped and clean. Laundry access was a bonus and breakfast was set on the rooftop, with views across Ernakalum. The selection was authentically Indian and delicious. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the metro and in a neighbourhood with very reasonable eateries. Nothing.

Vinod arranged a car to the airport, made a courier service collect our letter and printed documents for us. Breakfast was good. Great Café beside reception with most delicious delicacies. Unfortunately room doors are not soundproof so you may wake up when neighbors close the door energetically and you may feel disturbed by noise in the hallway.
