Brigitte (9/5): Très bon hébergement pour visiter Assise avec un accueil chaleureux . - Presque tout : l’emplacement est absolument idéal pour aller à Assise à pied en 10 minutes et laisser la voiture sur le parking de La Piaggia ; la proximité immédiate de la route n’est pas gênante car le double vitrage est très efficace .Chambre grande ,confortable ,très propre .Hôte extrêmement accueillant et serviable ( a porté ma valise au 2 ième étage sans ascenseur ) . Le petit- déjeuner à base de pâtisseries industrielles essentiellement .Du bon pain frais est plus sain et plus goûteux ,du fromage italien aurait été bienvenu . Cela dit ,je crois que les Italiens prennent une pâtisserie ( ou du moins du sucré)le matin .Il faut s’adapter à la façon de vivre du pays où l’on voyage .En revanche le café est excellent .

Ronald Verhagen (10/5): Prachtige mooie aggriturismo aan de voet van Assisi... - We zaten vlakbij Assisi, even de straat oversteken en via redelijk steil lopende weg naar boven waar je via een boogpoort Assisi binnenloopt. La Piagga is een prachtige aggriturismo zoals wij graag zien; sfeer van Italië, Gelige steensoort en niet al te groot, mooi gelegen tegen de achtergrond van Umbrië. Van binnen mooi ingericht, sfeervol, marmer en mooie warme houten meubilair. De ontbijtkamer heeft ook prachtig uitzicht via balkon en is ook mooi ingericht met houten tafels en stoelen, precies zoals we gehoopt hadden. De eigenaar en zijn vrouw zijn erg vriendelijk en gastvrij, omdat we geen Italiaans spreken konden we helaas niet hele goede gesprekken voeren maar Google translate hielp ons een beetje. Maar de eigenaar en zijn vrouw zorgden dat we niets tekort kwamen. De spoelbak van het toilet werkte niet maar werd direct door eigenaar zelf gemaakt. Lieve mensen zijn het. We hebben het heel erg naar onze zin gehad. Als we weer naar Assisi komen gaan we weer hier boeken.... Nog even over de vorige review van andere reiziger die een 6 durft te scoren, totaal onterecht...kamers zijn gedateerd omdat het ook een historisch pand betreft en dat moet vooral ook zo blijven!! Dat is juist de charme. En de trappen zijn breed en heel goed te belopen, of je moet met een rollator komen, ja dan wordt het lastig.... Eigenlijk helemaal niks...nou een kleine tip dan: complete matrassen vervangen zou een te dure investering zijn maar misschien kan een matrastopper een oplossing zijn voor het bed op kamer 2. Ik voelde de spiralen/vering van het matras een beetje.

Ottima l'idea di fornire una lista con relativi numeri di telefono dei migliori locali e pizzerie per poter pranzare e cenare senza perdersi fra le decine di locali presenti ad Assisi.

Cate (9/5): - Struttura molto bella e pulita, soprattutto la sala colazioni. Parcheggio comodo. Per arrivare dentro le mura di Assisi solo una salita, quindici si arriva senza problemi a piedi. Il gestore gentilissimo, se torno ad Assisi tornerei sicuramente qui. Già cj manca Assisi, oasi di pace... Bagno piccolo senza bidet e con una piccola finestra sul tetto, ma era l'unica camera rimasta. Ho visto che le altre camere erano molto più belle e spaziose e dotate di frigo che non era presente nella nostra, forse perché più piccola. Il gestore ci ha tenuto il ghiaccio in un frigo al piano terra, quindi nessun disagio.

serghigno (9/5): Umbria bellissima - Siamo arrivati alle 10.00 e siamo stati accolti nonostante l orario di check in sia verso le 15.00... La struttura è ben tenuta a 600 metri dal centro di Assisi con una camminata in salita su strada asfaltata...parcheggio gratuito comodo con alcuni ristoranti e pizzeria a 100 metri uno ed a un km l altro.. La stanza era ben arredata con bagno riscaldamento e climatizzatore..frigo dove tenere formaggi e salumi acquistati. Per la colazione avrei preferito avere più scelta ...visto che preferisco la colazione salata. La poca scelta della colazione salata.

Cristina (10/5): - Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La struttura si trova in una posizione molto strategica. È immersa nel verde, dotata di un ampio parcheggio. Fuori dell'agriturismo si trova subito la fermata dell'autobus e accanto una stradina asfaltata (un po' in salita, ma fattibile) che in pochi minuti a piedi consente di raggiungere la basilica e da lì tutto il centro storico. Comodissimo! Senza dover spostare l'auto dalla struttura e aver problemi coi parcheggi. Colazione dolce e salata ottima con prodotti freschi. Camera pulita. Proprietario molto gentile e disponibile. Consigliatissima! .

Si gode di un ottima visuale di Assisi e dalla parte opposta si possono ammirare bellissime piante di ulivo ed è visibile la cupola di Santa Maria Degli Angeli. Adiacente alla casa si trovano diversi sentieri per poter camminare immersi nel verde circostante. I prodotti serviti a colazione tutti di alta qualità ed il prosciutto affettato sul momento ogni mattina dal gestore...semplicemente squisito! Nulla

Chiara (9/5): - Endro, il proprietario, si è dimostrato da subito gentile e disponibile, purtroppo non potevamo essere in struttura entro l’ora del check in e, avvisando per tempo, ci ha lasciato le chiavi è permesso di fare tutto online in piena autonomia. Camera pulita e letto super comodo, meglio di quello di casa!!! Colazione buonissima con torte fatte in casa sempre diverse e squisite. Anche in questa occasione, Endro si è reso più che disponibile a darci del prosciutto per fare un panino a mia nipote che non voleva far colazione. Atmosfera familiare e accogliente. Parcheggio e posizione eccellenti.

CARLA (9/5): Localização excelente, confortável, silencioso. - Confortavel, silencioso, excelente café da manhã. Ficamos no quarto São Francisco para 3 pessoas, com vista para a Basilica. A ida a região dentro dos muros requer caminhada de 600m em subida, recomendo fazer cedo antes do sol ficar forte. 2 lances de escadas para acessar o quarto, mas o anfitrião foi muito solicito em ajudar com a bagagem.

Travel (7/5): Siamo stati benissimo e il posto è stupendo. - La posizione è stupenda, dato che dalla camera si godeva una vista bellissima degli uliveti sottostanti e dalla campagna antistante l'agriturismo si può ammirare tutta Assisi dal basso. La porta San Francesco è a 600 metri. C'è pace, silenzio e tranquillità. Colazione buona e abbondante. Si parcheggia comodamente. Lo consiglio.

Maurizio (8/5): Ci tornerò anche al prossimo viaggio ad Assisi, - Bella struttura, vicinissima alla Basilica di San Francesco, camera pulita, ottima colazione e gentilezza del proprietario.
Billero (8/5): La Piaggia, proprio sotto la Basilica: posizione strategica. - La posizine della stuttura è strategica: è proprio sotto la Basilica, che si può raggiungere a piedi approfittando quindi del parcheggio privato della stuttura. Inoltre la vista è magnifica: da una parte l'imponenza della Basilica, dall'altra la perfezione della natura. La colazione è stata adeguata al contesto, vi è sia dolce che salata e il Signor Endro ci ha dato ottimi suggerimenti per esplorare il luogo, come l'Eremo delle Carceri (che consiglio vivamente con spirito di rispetto del luogo). Forse da migliorare i cuscini del letto, ma si sa che non esiste nessun leto come la propria casa: quindi davvero solo un piccolissimo suggerimento. Al contrario, nonostante i giorni di caldo, l'aria condizionata è stata davvero superflua essendo la struttura molto fresca e le stanze avevano una piacevole temperatura naturale.
Pauline (6/5): Zeer matig - De accommodatie ligt 600 meter van Assisi, weliswaar aan een steile klim en heeft kamers op de bovenste verdieping met veel trappen te gaan. De kamer zelf is zeer gedateerd en de badkamer niet meer van deze tijd. Het is gelegen aan een hele drukke weg en er is overdag veel lawaai van landbouwmachines. Het hotel heeft een kleine tuin aan de drukke weg en heeft geen eigen restaurant. Er is gelukkig een restaurant vlakbij. De badkamer was heel klein en er was praktisch geen ruimte bij wc en douche. Er lag een vieze badmat in de douche waar je op moet staan om niet uit te glijden. Niet erg hygiënisch. De kamer is niet gezellig omdat alle lampen wit en koud waren. Er was gedurende ons verblijf van 2 nachten geen Wifi. Het zou opgelost worden op de 2e dag maar dat bleek niet waar helaas.

Vicinissima alla Basilica di San Francesco, 600 mt un salita, quindi sicuramente non per le persone anziane o se si hanno passeggini. Davvero vicino ma appena fuori le mura, così da poter raggiungere le altre basiliche o spostarsi velocemente in macchina.

Mary (9/5): Lovely stay in Assisi - The property was beautiful and our host was very accommodating. The breakfast was also really good. (Traditional Italian breakfast). There is a restaurant on the corner that was very close by. Not much - the hill was steep to get to Assisi.

Fernanda S (8/5): Good place - The place was very good, overall. It was at a good distance from the main church, even if we had to take a rout that led us to a big hill. Breakfast, too, was very nice. The only problem is that this is a “private” place (I think) and after 18pm we did not find anyone to assist us with some requests (as in we wanted another pillow).

Kanas (8/5): Very good - Beautiful olive gardens surround the inn. Comfortable bed and the owners were very kind. Breakfast was excellent, new every day. communication was a challenge. We used the translator app. The bathroom was very small, but it had nice hot water.
Suzanne (10/5): Fantastic place to stay in a great location for walking into Assisi - La Piaggia is in an excellent location for visiting Assisi and it was only a short walk to the basilica, a good way to stretch our legs after a car journey. There was plenty of easy parking, our room was spacious and comfortable and the presence of a fridge and kettle was appreciated. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful and our dogs were welcome to come in and sit with us whilst we ate. The owners were really helpful, showing us a list of nearby restaurants when we arrived and giving us a map and directions for how to walk into Assisi. We will definitely aim to stay here again when in this part of Italy and will recommend La Piaggia to our friends who travel regularly through Italy. Nothing it was a great place to stay
Anca (10/5): Near Basilica! - This is a very nice place. This accommodation comes with a very large parking and a beautiful garden where guests can rest and take in the surroundings. It is situated at the bottom of the hill with the Basilica. A quiet oasis close to the crowded area of the Basilica. The room was clean with all the basic supplies. This is a house, so there is no elevator. Keep in mind if you have mobility needs. Our room was on the second floor, so we only took the necessary things and left the big luggage in the trunk in the car. The host serves breakfast on the main floor. Delicious coffee, cheese, ham, pastries, jam, butter, yogurt etc.

Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful ex farmhouse . Breakfast was fine, kept us going and we were well looked after. The 600-meter walk up to St. Francisco was hard work, especially in the heat. We used the restaurant across from our B&B which was very good and we also drove into the next town with St Francisco's church, well worth a visit, even with the scaffolding around it and there are plenty of bars and restaurants. For us, the bed was very hard, otherwise nothing.
