• David (10/5): I would stay at Claudio’s again in a heartbeat. The perfect place and host in Sorrento! - This property is in the perfect location in the center of historic Sorrento. It is an amazing apartment in a beautiful old palace. Claudio, our host, did an amazing job, preserving the history of the palace by maintaining a beautiful ceiling fresco above the bed. The renovation seems brand new. Claudio was extremely gracious and helpful, telling us great places to eat (all were fantastic), and tips on public transportation. A voucher for an excellent breakfast at Tasso’s on the adjacent piazza is included. I can’t rave enough about how much we loved this place! Nothing, it was extraordinary!

Der Gastgeber ist super nett und hilft, wo er kann mit Tipps und und auch Buchungen (bspw. Bootstour). Würde dort wieder bleiben. Gibt eigentlich nichts auszusetzen. Offene Fenster abends können, wenn man lärmempfindlich ist, vielleicht schwierig sein, aufgrund des Trubels.

• Jane (10/5): Loved Sorrento, great central location. - Great central location, Claudio was very welcoming, great communication, and excellent recommendations of where to eat and places to go. Coffee and cornetto for breakfast at Tasso each morning made us feel like locals. Wine fridge handy, but a bar fridge with lower temp would be better for milk and beer.

We enjoyed the continental breakfast next door at Tasso too. Claudio was an amazing host, he called taxi’s for us, helped with drivers by making calls for us and translated. All in all we were very happy. We were not happy with the hot water for showers. It kept running out before we were able to finish showering. We had to go back to GI showers.

• Brigitte (10/5): Beyond my expectations, advertised accurately, and highly recommended to any single traveler (especially a woman alone) - The room was beautiful, bright, clean and very safe. Some had commented about noise on the street but I had no issue and did not feel that the balcony allowed for more noise to come in; not at all. The location was in the heart of old downtown pedestrian area so it was very easy to venture out and stop back in throughout the day and evening. I had everything that I needed and wanted and it exceeded my expectations. Claudio was an exceptional host; communicative and very hospitable from before my stay through til the end. I couldn’t have been happier. I read some comments that the included vouchers for breakfast (a coffee and pastry at the cafe across the street was not what was expected but it was exactly was I had experienced as customary in my travels in smaller towns in Italy and I was quite happy with it! I also, in my short 1.5 day/2-night stay, tried as many spots for food, gelato, sightseeing Claudio recommended as I could. A charming, short (45min/30euro) lemon farm tour and tasting at La Limonaia captured the essence of Sorrento while still allowing me to enjoy a full day of shopping, walking around, and dining. Thank you, Claudio! Honestly, there was nothing I did not like and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The divide between the rooms is fantastic for a family. Claudio was incredible helpful and gave us so many great suggestions. I dont think I have anything!

El apartamento se encontraba en muy buena ubicación. La habitación muy cómoda para una pareja. El desayuno si bien era un cafe con un cornetto (el de pistacho vale la pena) para la próxima se podría agregar algo salado para los que no comen dulce. Por ultimo, vale nuevamente aclarar la atención de Vincenzo, quien nos ayudo con un problema con una medicación e hizo todo por solucionarlo, y lo logro, así que estamos muy agradecidos.

If you want/need a savoury breakfast, there are options great options available at the place - Speak to Claudio and he may get the guys at the café to accommodate.
• Carolyn (10/5): Bright and airy space in the Center of Sorrento - It is right in the middle of pedestrian Sorrento. In a spectacular old building yet inside is clean and modern. Beds were clean and comfortable. The mini refrigerator did not seem to be working. It was not a problem for us at all.

Soaring ceilings, large apartment for 4…And the sliding wall provided nice privacy and separation. The location was good but if you have very early to bed kids you may have some street noise until later. The property was amazing. You will climb a few stairs. Beautiful!

• Zachary (10/5): Amazing host, even better location! - Claudio was an excellent host, meeting up with us (earlier than usual checkin time) to hand over the keys and run through the room. The rooms are massive, with great views over the old town alley ways, feels like a fairytale. Everything was very clean, with the cleaner visiting on the second day to do a quick clean. The breakfast is served across the road, in a cafe that has some very tasty pastries.

The property is perfectly situated just one block off of Corso Italia and in the midst of the wonderful shops, restaurants, beach clubs and ferry dock. This is our third stay at Suites Sorrento Elegance and we will be returning for our future vacations to Sorrento. We prefer softer pillows.

The location was central to everything, the unit was updated and clean, the entrance was secure, and the host Claudio met us, walked us up to the unit and showed us everything (including how to use the double-hung doors on the two balconies - which were beyond incredible at blocking the sounds from outside). Absolutely nothing!
• Nicole (10/5): Simply perfection! - Claudio’s place was absolutely perfect for our stay in Sorrento! The location was right in the middle of the old town experience but with the added benefit of sound proof doors which meant we could go to bed early if we were tired, without disturbance. The room had many small touches like water and toiletries with daily room refresh and new towels every second day much like a hotel. Claudio also met us at check in and gave us many local recommendations for aperitif and dinner, and all were perfection. When we come back we would definitely book here again!

• Oscar (10/5): Amore in Sorrento is how I sum up our stay in Suites Sorrento Elegance. - The location is in the heart of Sorrento and within a close walking distance to everything there is to do and see in this beautiful city! We loved the 2nd floor corner unit we stayed in with its dual balconies where we could see people as they walked by or sat below to eat at the outdoor restaurant beneath us and the doors are soundproof for quieting the street noise for sleep. The room accommodated my wife, 2 adult sons and I very well with its large sliding privacy door. The starter breakfasts that were included with our stay were perfect to get our day going and the quaint cafe where we had delicious coffees and pastries was right there at the adjacent corner just steps from the main door to our building. Our room was very nice and well appointed with decorative art and all the accessories we needed from the hair dryer to the fridge and even tea and a teapot which we didn’t use. The beds were comfortable, a/c’s cooled well and our room was refreshed with new towels and drinking water provided every single day. And I cannot forget to mention that the property manager Vincenzo was super cool and gets our Vacation Accommodations Manager Award for Service Excellence! I only wished I had a medal to present him lol. Vincenzo greeted us in person and helped us haul our luggage a short walk away from the property because it’s in a pedestrian only section of town. He was very friendly, witty and so nice. Vincenzo spoke English and provided us with all the property details and even gave us his very own personal dining spots where at one restaurant I had the best gnocchi I have ever had in all of Italy. We will definitely be looking to stay here again if we can ever make it back to Sorrento and we highly recommend anyone wanting to find superb accommodations in this beautiful city. Not a single thing!

Claudio our host was amazing, excellent with communicating and offering his local knowledge on what we may like to do and try within the area. The host met us in the square and led us to the residence, which was a terrific, modern, and clean space. Breakfast across the street was just enough, and a very lovely place. The lighting was terrific. The host provided excellent tips and restaurants and was very accessible throughout the course of our stay. The furniture was comfortable, but there was not enough seating. The bed was a great place to rest your head, but otherwise, you were forced to sit in a bed, as there was only one chair and a "bench." The suite could be improved by adding a few simple chairs—even at the cost of getting rid of the bench or a nightstand.

• Jessie (10/5): 12 out of 10 stars. Simply the best. - Highly recommend this place. The host Claudio is awesome. Really nice guy who met us at the end of the street... as there is no car entry to the b&b. On the way to the b&b, he showed us great places to eat, visit and shop. He showed us the entry and how everything works. The location of this b&b is just the best. Right in the heart of the shopping area, with heaps of restaurants and cafes just outside your door. We had the family room (2 bedrooms with a bathroom). The bedrooms are really spacious. The place is spotless... and beautifully white. Massive windows, with big wooden shutters, that open to 2 balconies. Towels and linen are great quality and toiletries supplied. There is a small wine fridge in the main bedroom too. Plenty of wardrobe space, powerpoints and usb charging too. Beds were very comfy and made for us everyday. Claudio was an awesome host. He organised an Amalfi Coast tour for us, as well as a private transfer from Sorrento to Naples. And is only a phone call away if you need him. Great value for money...Claudio, we will be back. Better weather would have been great. It was the only thing Claudio couldn't fix for you...lol. Even though it rained the last day, it was still perfect.

Very center in old town so that no trouble finding restaurants and souvenior shops. 15 min walk from Sorrento station. Host is very kind, accomodated my unexpected late arrival at his best. Thank you so much! I understand that no kitchen is there, but wished to have electric pot to boil hot water for coffe and tea.

• Kristin (8/5): Clean, spacious rooms with helpful host - The rooms were extremely clean, spacious, and fairly quiet, especially considering the street outside was a busy place well into the night. The cleaning staff tidied up daily for us, which was lovely. We enjoyed the location - easy to walk the main downtown area and close enough to walk to the harbor/beach area. We also walked to the rooms from the train station. Vincenzo was a great help, gave us a tour of the rooms and was prompt and helpful when we contacted him for recommendations on restaurants and beaches. All his recommendations worked out really well too. I would definitely recommend. The only thing that could be improved was that the larger of the beds was very hard. A mattress topper would have been nice.

Very spacious and was in the best location. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to be in the middle of the city and wants to be comfortable as well. The sound proof windows were great because you could enjoy the view but also rest when needed.

The room itself was generously proportioned and located right in the centre of the old town, everything you needed was at your doorstep. The room was really quiet despite it's central location.
