- Erin (10/5): Great place to stay. We will be back. - Great location. Beautiful building. Staff was amazing! These are little dislikes. Overall, we reallt enjoyed our stay. The bathroom was huge (thats a plus). However we were only provided 1 small bath math. Also the couch had multiple stains.

- AISHA (5/5): Indoor Glamping at Best - The overall facilities were beautiful and the Staff were mostly kind and helpful. The communication and knowledge was lacking. It appears the ENTIRE staff was new and unfamiliar with the business of hospitality. Rooms were NOT properly cleaned, there was multiple layers of lint and debris under the beds. One of the tubs had NOT been clean as it had a dark ring around the tub. I had to go buy some cleaning supplies just to bath the kids. Though the entire place was very beautiful, the facilities; especially the Cabins, are in need of pest control. The cabins were not properly sealed to keep larger pest. We ultimately had to purchase bug spray to help combat the multiple Spiders and roached that were in the room nightly. If you're one that likes to actually sleep outside with the elements in nature, this place would be a luxurious alternative.

- Jean Ann (10/5): Lovely, accomodating facility - There was no breakfast. We had a Keurig in our room and brought our own snacks. Microwave and small frig were nice. The room was enourmous!!! Beautiful lodge I have never seen the number of books for loan anywhere, not even on a cruise ship. It took about 15 minutes for staff to show up to check us in. No one to answere the phonw either. Absence of a quality restaurant in the vicinity.

Last year we were so lucky to stumbled across this amazing place. I’m all ready making plans for my siblings getaway. This is my daughter second year staying there. I could not find anything that will stop me from coming back.

- James (10/5): Will be back next excuse I have to go to the Dothan area - Huge room. Dual sinks AND showers in bathroom. Had a walk in shower and tub/shower combo. Long closet that didn't share the door with the bathroom like some smaller ones do. Nice size fridge with separate freezer you could actually put leftovers in and a microwave to heat them up. Actual real beds with 6 pillows each. Even had an upholstered glider chair along with a desk and chair. The one bonus feature I really liked was the room door didn't have an auto closer on it. Once opened, you could actually get in or out with your luggage without something trying to crush you. The whole family walked out and then shut the door just like at home. The whole experience was like staying at a relative's house without the family drama. 15 mins from middle of Dothan and 15 mins from FL Stateline. Leaving. Didn't want to.

I got a little bit of a creepy vibe, like Steven King might have used this location for a book.

Both times we only had one hand towel for the 2 of us. The cabin had a kitchen sink but nothing to wash or dry dishes with, not even any paper towels. The lady helping with check in had a very negative personality and a bizarre affect

That was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in away from home! The room was very large! The bathroom was also very large with a tub and shower. We were very pleased with our stay here and would certainly stay again! I booked on Hotels.com, the only thing that they didn't tell you is that there is a $250 deposit that is held until after checkout.

No staff after 10pm. The bar/food is actually off site in the casino building which is a ten minute walk or a short drive.

- Debbie (10/5): - We chose this property for a single overnight when passing through the area. We stayed in room #1 on the first floor. It had a king bed that was really soft. (Not a good choice if you need a firmer mattress; but we enjoyed it.) Room was clean; and the bathroom with a large walk-in shower was one of the nicest I've ever seen in a hotel. Tiled beautifully with great water pressure and temperature. It felt more like being a guest in someone's home rather than at a hotel. I appreciated how clean it was, and didn't think twice about walking barefoot. Another thing worth mentioning was how soft the bath towels were. There was no breakfast, but complimentary muffins, yogurt and juice were in the room's mini fridge. Nice quiet neighborhood. I'm sure it fills up quickly if there's a concert at the amphitheater nearby. We walked to the Crossing at Big Creek to grab dinner. However we had to order it to go because the cigarette smoke from the adjoining casino smelled awful.

- Sean (10/5): - The Magnolia Creek Lodge was a very nice Inn, apparently use to be a Bed & Breakfast a while back and now just a Inn. The staff Darren was very helpful and very polite. The rooms are very large an the beds were very comfortable. the bathroom was very large as well (we stayed in room #2). We were using this Inn as a "pre" stay on our way to mid Florida (then on our way to Key West). We liked the Inn so much that we booked a "cabin" or "lodge" for our trip back, they were only $50 more but you would have the whole "little" house to your self... The bad.. not much to eat in the Area you have to go @10mile back to Dothan AL for food. Some "food for thought" before heading that way especially if you plan on checking in an then going out to eat.

- Evelyn (10/5): An AMAZING Experience! - This was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we ever had. Me and my fiancé only stayed for one night but it was truly an amazing experience. The room is pretty big, very well taken care of, the beds are comfortable, big shower, mini kitchenette in the room which was nice. We would definitely come back and stay for longer when the weather gets chillier to use the fireplace and sit out in the cabins. 100% would recommend.

We stayed in the lodge itself, but we would like to stay in one of the little cabins that they have. The only down side to stating in the lodge, is that it can be a little noisy if there are activities going on in the lodge. And if there is some one staying above you, you can hear them walking in their room. This is why we will try the cabins on our next stay. I think it will be a better experience for us. But with that said, I highly recommend giving Magnolia Creek Lodge a try.

I always wonder why hotel rooms only have one luggage stand when most rooms will have two occupants and thought maybe this lodge might actually have a couple in the huge closet but only one was there. I did ask for a second one but there were none in their linen storage room.

- Karen (8/5): - The room and building were comfortable and beautiful! There were a few items we would have liked to see in the room: Kleenex, bathroom hand towels, a table in front of the sofa. These seem like reasonable items for a suite like this. We could hear the people in the next room and people outside our door (we were next to the elevator) early in the morning.

- Sandra (8/5): - This is our second time staying here. Sign on the outside says staff only available until 12 noon every day. No one at the desk so I tried calling the number listed and no one answered. Finally a staff member showed up and came outside and called me as I was walking around the parking lot waiting for someone to answer the phone. Check in was then easy and room was all ready for us. Beautiful property and lodge. Large bedroom and bathroom. Snacks left in the fridge for morning. Appreciated the freezer in the fridge for our cold packs and frozen foods we had with us. Lots of great restaurants in Dothan.

- TARA (10/5): Absolutely perfect - The absolute best place I’ve ever stayed! Between Rhonda going above and beyond because we were snowed in and the town closed, she made sure we had food & Ken and his wonderful wife brought us soup and snacks also! I would stay here over and over again! Me and my daughter has the time of our life! The inside was warm and cozy and the room was huge!!! Don’t get me started on the giant bathroom!! 10 out of 10 recommend this place to everyone!

- Jay (8/5): One mishap! - This is our second time staying at the lodge and we were in the same room! The building is very quaint and quiet. Our only issue this time was the night we arrived we walked into the bathroom and there was a very large cockroach crawling on the toilet seat. That kind of put a taste of discomfort in us for a bit but overall the stay was nice.

- Ellie (10/5): Spacious and Clean Room! Will Definitely Return! - We came to town to visit my in laws for Thanksgiving. Our room was so comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting in the common area in the evenings, by the fire. The front desk agent was very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!
- Jay (8/5): Quiet and relaxing ! - The lodge was very quaint and quiet. No complaints besides the carpet in the rooms needs to be ripped up. Shower head was dated and did not work well but other than that everything was great!
