- Matthew (10/5): Great place to be,and all the locals were friendly and helpful. - For the price,the beds were comfy and the room warm and clean.Close to everything round the town for eating and drinking.Easy to get anywhere,lots of things to do around Twizel such as tramping,fishing and getting into the great outdoors. Everything was great . Wasn't a single thing that you could dislike,unless you were a stuck up do goodies person where nothing makes you happy and you always want more,or nothing is never good enough and your hard to be happy. Or your just a complete CUNT!

- Sathuragiri (1/5): Convenient location and polite staff, but the room condition made us uncomfortable enough to leave and stay elsewhere. - Nothing to like about this property Unfortunately, we did not feel comfortable during our stay. The room did not feel clean to us and my girlfriend experienced body itching after resting there briefly. We only stayed a short time before deciding to leave and book another accommodation on the same day. We even remade the bed before leaving out of respect for the staff. Our feedback is based on our genuine experience at the property.

The shower drain was clogged, only received 2 towels with 3 people booked. The plates and kitchenware were a little bit dirty.

- Darryl (8/5): Comfy, old-school motel stay - This had a certain nostalgic 1960's-1970's holiday park feel to it; the design was of that era even though a lot of the facilities have been updated to modern times. I stayed in a one bedroom suite, which was quite roomy and had a private bathroom and mini kitchen etc. that were all clean and in good condition. The wi-fi was accessed through the old voucher method where you need to login through a portal webpage - kind of old fashioned for these days, when most other places have wi-fi that just needs a password to access.

- Freya (6/5): Okay - Location is excellent, right in town and easy to walk to everything. The showers were very warm and had good water pressure. The price is really the best part, enabled us to stay in a location that would otherwise be out of our budget. The gentleman at reception was very friendly and helpful! The beds are very uncomfortable, is it worth putting up with for a couple of nights, but if having a good sleep is very important to you, I would advise booking elsewhere. The heater was a bit dogy and sparked a few times, it was a little frightening.

- kristen (7/5): Great value for money for basic short stay - Location is fantastic right in the town Centre, cant beat it! Staff were very friendly! Shared/communal bathroom very clean and tidy! Great place for basic short stay in terms of value for money - warm, dry, safe and secure. Bed was pretty low down and very soft (acknowledging this is subjective to like/not like of course!) There was no extra blanket or pillows. There was no electric blanket on the bed as advertised sadly as it was a cold night! It felt like maybe our room had maybe been missed for cleaning and restocking as the rest of the place was clean? There were hairs, hair ties, number of dead squished blowflies and dirty cups in the room. No milk and only 2 coffee sachets for coffee. No hand soap or wash available in our ensuite room. Also no towels (dont remember if this was said in ad for place sorry so more of a note as it was a pity!). Shower in ensuite is very small and only curtain present to try contain water but you can use communal/shared shower block in the unit which is very clean - as long as you have a towel! 😊

Hot showers. Kettle and toaster in room. Clean towels and bathmat daily. Good value for money. Showers that powerful that the shower curtain would blow around during shower and leave the floor saturated, bathmat was replaced daily to help combat this though.
