• Tea (8/5): - It was pretty clean. Th view was amazing and that’s why we booked this place, but when you go on Amalfi you realize that half of the places are with view. They should change their pillows very uncomfortable, but for short stay it was okay.

• Bror (5/5): Fin utsikt, lugnt läge, behov av renovering, inga kokmöjligheter och inget porslin vilket skulle behövas då inga restaur - Läget uppe i berget gav en en fin utsikt och området var väldigt tyst och lugnt, dock inga restauranger i närheten och inga möjligheter att laga egen mat fanns. Endast tillgängligt med via trappor. Det fanns ingen möjlighet att laga mat, spisen fick inte användas (övertäckt och vreden borttagna), inga bestick, glas eller porslin, endast små plastmuggar och enbart plastgafflar fanns. Det fanns bara en microugn men inga skålar eller annat att nyttja för användandet av denna.

Se vea amalfi 🇪🇸Muebles viejos, baño viejo y poca limpieza, lástima por las vistas que ofrece la ubicación, no es nada cómodo, por las instalaciones no vale más de 30 euros por noche. 🇬🇧Old furniture, old bathroom and less cleanliness, too bad about the view the location offers, it's not comfortable at all, for the facilities it's not worth more than 30 euros per night.

• Rhonda (4/5): Thankfully we only stayed one night - The view was amazing and the host communicated well via texting on WhatsApp. We were only there for one night, arrived in the evening and left early the next morning. The place looked nice in the photos but we were disappointed overall. The room looks like it needs a refresh. The bed was amazingly hard, not just firm but hard and it made it difficult to sleep even though we were exhausted. It was difficult to find the place but that was partly because we arrived after dark.

• Johanna (5/5): - Die Aussicht ist bei schönem Wetter außergewöhnlich. Es ist sauber. Die Kommunikstion im Vorfeld ist auch schnell und ausführlich. Die Küche ist unbenutzbar. Es gibt eine Kaffemaschine und eine Mikrowelle, aber nicht mal richtige Löffel zum Kaffee umrühren, nur Holzstäbchen. Das Teewasser muss man in der Mikrowelle aufwärmen. Das inbegriffene Frühstück kann man nicht von Tellern essen, da diese auch nicht vorhanden sind. Es hängen überall Zettel mit Warnungen was man nicht machen darf und welche Bestrafung es sonst gibt. Ich weiß nicht welche schlechten Erfahrungen dieser Vermieter mit seinen Gästen hatte, dass er dies als nötig empfindet. Man hat sich nicht sehr willkommen gefühlt.

No había ni un solo cubierto ni plato, de forma que aunque llevábamos alguna cosa para comer nos quedamos en ayunas

• Lim (3/5): View vs. Stairs - Nice view LOTS OF STAIRS. Don’t come to this place unless you’re strong enough to carry your bags up hundreds of rough rocky stairs to reach any car-accessible road. No taxi will be willing to come to the residence and help with the baggage, and the local porter service (the only service in the area) is ridiculously expensive. You’ll have to climb up and down all those stairs yourself and feel miserable doing it. Buses don’t come through the area frequently. Also, the drivers don’t stop at regular bus stops unless they have passengers getting off. A bus passed right by me while I was waiting at the bus station, and I ended up missing the ferry to Capri even though I had left more than 1 hour before the ferry departure time. There’s also a church next to the residence that’s kind of scary if you arrive late. I wouldn’t have been able to stay at the residence if I had been alone. The church bell rings every 30 minutes at night when the place seems empty. Water was not hot enough so I had to do a really quick cold shower after sweating a lot from the stairs. It is a vacation house not a hotel/air bnb, so the host won’t be around. Please keep it in mind. It would be a good place for a person either with a backpack looking for long, quiet stay without any rush in schedule as it has nice view.

• Ana (5/5): Pagar pela vista - . A vista é o ponto alta da casa, o nascer do sol é magnífico . Tem contacto de parque perto do sítio onde se começa a descer (25€/dia e o proprietário é super simpático e ajuda a colocar/retirar o carro ) . Leonardo foi célere e simpático na resposta às msgs (e eu fiz aí umas 10 perguntas) . O proprietário deixou café, croissants de pacote e açúcar (e há um microondas) . As camas sao confortáveis Nota: São 150 degraus desde o parque estacionamento até à casa e 500 degraus da casa até ao mar (isto não pode ser uma surpresa porque está escrito no anúncio… e quem quer ter a vista encosta, tem que dormir elevado, logo, tem que subir e descer escadas) TOTALMENTE desaconselhável para quem não tem boa saúde, normal para quem tiver saúde… e custa menos do que parece. . A casa está em muito pior estado do que parece pelas fotos (está degradada, armários partidos, colados com fita cola, torneiras a pingar, bolor,…) . A higiene é fraca (bolor, frigorífico sujo, interruptores sujos,…) . Anunciam uma kitchenete, mas não há na casa nada além de copos (faltam pratos, talheres, etc. e a resposta que recebemos foi que NAO é proibido cozinhar na casa… de que adianta um microondas/kitchenete se não há onde e com o que comer?!) . Mais pequena do que parece nas fotos . Pouco cuidado em geral (dentro de casa havia um escadote, fora caixotes do lixo ali ao lado, folhas por varrer, etc) . A varanda dos 3 quartos é comum, o que não dá nenhuma privacidade

• Intino (1/5): Solo la vista vale la camera,per il resto non ci tornerò più - L’unica cosa che ho apprezzato della struttura è stata la vista mozzafiato Innanzitutto la camera era sporca,ho trovato polvere dappertutto e un anta della doccia non funzionava..C’erano tantissimi scalini per arrivare alla camera e con un passeggino non è stato per niente facile farli,ultima cosa abbiamo chiamato la struttura più e più volte e in una settimana non hanno quasi mai risposto per chiedere delle informazioni
• Ilirjan (8/5): - Das Hotel in Amalfi war super. Es gab drei Zimmer mit einer gemeinsamen Terrasse. Es liegt etwa 1,6 km vom Zentrum entfernt. Da das Hotel ganz oben auf dem Berg ist, kann man entweder den Bus nehmen oder zu Fuß gehen. Wir haben die Treppen genommen – es war etwas anstrengend, weil es sehr viele Stufen gibt, aber es ist machbar. Die Aussicht ist ausgezeichnet! Die Zimmer sind etwas alt, aber schön eingerichtet und sauber. Insgesamt war ich sehr zufrieden. Vielen Dank!

Estaba un poco apartado y elevado respecto el centro de Amalfi, por lo que era prácticamente necesario desplazarse en bus al centro. La limpieza algo mejorable.

El personal con el que tratamos no mostraba ningún signo de preocupación. El piso estaba sucio en general y no dejas de estar lejos del pueblo. En general no recomiendo pasar una noche en Amalfi, menos en este piso.

• Nickolas (8/5): Lugn och trygg vistelse med en fantastisk vy utöver Amalfi och havet - Utsikten var väldigt fin för en mysig matstund. Bekvämt och stort. Faciliteter för att laga mat och bevara mat. Tyst och lugnt område. Finns utekatter som kommer nära, inget som störde oss så mycket dock. Långt ner/upp med trapporna. Dock är det inga problem om man tar det lugnt (jobbigt om du behöver skynda dig från lägenheten). Ingen privat balkong, utan delad med andra boende. Dock inte många andra boende (ungefär två andra sällskap) och inget som störde oss.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Pleasant stay in Amalfi - it's a great place to stay, located over 500 steps up from the main street. You can get a bus to Via Papa Leone X from where you have only 115 steps down. It was a very easy check in, check out. The host was very responsive. We were very pleased to find few cornetti on the table. Microwave is available if you want to heat some food. Please remember the steps when planning your meals!

Nummuriņā bija gan virtuves zona, kafijas automāts ar kafiju. Netālu veikals ar visu nepieciešamo un pietura. Iespēja izmazgāt un izžāvēt veļu laukā uz terases. Ieteikums- doties uz naktsmītni no Amalfi ar autobusu nevis ar kājām. Tas ir iespējams, bet būs jāpàrvar pie 300 pskāpieniem uz augšu. Ļoti nogurdinoši, bet iespējams. Uz Amalfi gan var iet kajām. Tas prasīs kādas 20 min. Nakstmītnē bija virtuve, bet nebija ne nazis, ne trauki. Mūsu uzturēšanās lāikā wifi praktiski negāja. Pēc sazināšanās ar saimnieku, bija labāk.

Air conditioning works well, and the coffee/tea that was there was so useful and a welcome sight after the long climb up the steps! Lovely and peaceful. Property is clean and spacious. Hosts were willing to let us drop our bags off as we arrived earlier than the check in time and that made everything much easier for us. If you get the bus to the bottom of the hill, the walk up the steps is quite difficult and in the July heat was a lot for us. If you get the bus to the top of the hill, it’s only a few flights downhill and is much much easier! Also make sure to bring mosquito or bug repellent, as we did get a good few bites in the area. Property could have a few more utensils such as cutlery/plates.

• Anna (8/5): Very good - We lived the view of Amalfi. The rooms were comfortable and the host provided coffee pods and croissants when we arrived which was a nice touch. It does feel quite isolated from the town unfortunately. We found the buses a nightmare to navigate (don’t arrive on a Sunday or public holiday). Once we found a stair path to the town from the accommodation we felt more free to move around however this is no easy feat. It’s a 20 minute stair climb straight up and down and we are fit 30 year olds. At least there are lots of beautiful views to stop and catch your breath. I wouldn’t suggest this to someone who didn’t have a decent level of fitness or who didn’t have a car rental.
• Daryna (7/5): Good - We enjoyed our stay overall. The view from the balcony was truly beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. Leonardo provided clear and helpful instructions on how to find and reach the property, which made check-in easy. The kitchen was lacking some basic utensils – there were not enough forks or glasses, which made it a bit inconvenient. We also found some dirty laundry from previous guests hidden behind a curtain, which was unpleasant. One more thing that saddened us was the notice about not feeding the cats. There are some stray cats around the property, and it’s heartbreaking to see them hungry. It would be nice if some food could be occasionally provided for them, so they don’t have to rely on tourists.

• Karen (9/5): Superb - Outdoor patio with million dollar view Only 2 teaspoons for cutlery. Corkscrew was broken. A knife for cutting bread, or a fork would have been helpful.
• Alya (8/5): A great stay! - It was such a great room to stay in with airconditioner, clean and comfortable beddings, towels and toilet. Nice area to stay in too, direct bus from amalfi. The view from terrace was slightly restricted by the wires and poles. But can still walk around the area and stairs to get better views (near the bells).

• Tereza (10/5): - This place has an incredible view, so beautiful. It’s little hidden which we loved. You can take bus from downtown Amalfi which goes every 30 minutes until 11pm. You have to buy ticket downtown from the guy in yellow vest who is usually next to the buses, its 1.50 which is super affordable. Unfortunately you cant buy tickets in bus so I would suggest to buy couple of them right when you get to town. Leonardo was very helpful and texted me through WhatsApp how to get there and sent me picture of the bus stop. The bus stop is above the house, it takes 5 minutes to get tho the house through stairs. When we got there we were super hungry and Leonardo left us croissants, fresh lemons and tea and cofee which was very nice. You can also walk to the town which is incredible 25 minut walk with beautiful views. I would stayed there again for sure.
• Lourdes (6/5): - Spring break family trip to Amalfi coast. Be aware of the residenza location is down the hill about 4-5 floors from the main road level. Parking in Amalfi is critical, so be aware that if you rent a car will coast you $25 euros per night which is arranged by the Residenza. Ana is very kind and amazing helping you to set up in the room and giving you info where to visit around. She is lovely. A/c not cooling well enough. Be aware if you go in summer. Beautiful view from the terrace. Overall stay ok for the price.
• Sobia (4/5): - If you are an early morning person then it won’t be a problem. They started using heavy machinery to clean the property at 06:30 in the morning and we were not able sleep after that at it was very loud. Property itself is nice, you would need a bus to reach there. View from the property is amazing. Check in was flexible.

• Diane (5/5): 101 steps to apartment and even more down to the coast - The view was good but property was remote. Small local shop 20 minutes away walking distance. No plates, cutlery or anything to prepare or serve food. Microwave and coffee machine but as there was no where to purchase kitchenware there were of no real use.

• Gabriela (6/5): 🤷🏻‍♀️ - The view! The air conditioning wasn’t working and it was dirty, and I also couldn’t manage to use the TV. There were no cutlery or plates. The smell of the sheets was unpleasant.
• As (6/5): Good experience. But not next time because the host is unreliable and unseen! - We liked the size of our room, and (shared) balcony, because we could watch sunrise every morning. We had a kettel and microwave that were functioning well. To enter the room, we just need a code. Breakfast was okay with some brioche's that provided by the host. There were lots of stairs to get up and get down to reach the hotel, but fine for us as we already know that Amalfi is a stairs town. The host, named Leonardo, was messaging us a month before our arrival via booking.com, that he would send the code to enter the building. I gave her my WhatsApp number as requested, but never got the code, until we were in front of the building door, and expecting messaging coming, and was not. Finally, We sent messages via booking.com because the phone number that stated wasn't answered. And after 15 minutes, we could communicate with Leonardo and got the code. We never met Leonardo the host, and I don't really appreciate that. We MUST meet the host!!! I don't appreciate the threaten in room such as ''if you break the towel or door, we will charge your credit card!'' Hello, host, you even couldn't fulfil your promise to send us the enter code!! How can you threat us like that!! Yours are not hotel, just Bed and Breakfast!! Air Conditioner was loud and not function!! Soaps can be more generous!!! The host told me to leave €12 for check-in, and he would pick it up the day after. We left €12, but the next day he (Leonardo) DIDN'T pick the money!! Means we could leave it when we checked-out!! I Think the host (Leonardo) has communication issue or unreliable!!!
• Michelle (1/5): Bad - The view is the only aspect that was lovely The owner was very aggressive and rude. We had been communicating since June to request an extra 2 beds which the owner said would be fine remind me on the day for 30 euro extra per person He then aggressively said apon arrival we needed another room and to book directly through him for a cash only rate that matched booking.com. The owner who suggested he was the cleaner spent 10 minutes getting another room ready. There was dust all over the floor, mould all over the tiles in the shower and the mattress was so hard we both woke up with a terrible back The room has many stairs down even using the short cut provided and even more if you use the address provided We left our luggage in the car as it was too hard to get it to the property and was charged 25 euro for a car park Overall we flat very deflated and I would never ever go there again I never make a complaint and I’m sorry to provide this feedback but definitely a 1/10

• Karly (9/5): Great spot! - Great spot with amazing views, nice sized room with a large fridge A little bit away from the main town centre - sometimes hard to get transport. Steep stairs up and down but worth the view!
• Pessoa (6/5): Pleasant - The view and surroundings were really good, with a very calm atmosphere. We were expecting that we could use the kitchen without having to worry about utensils, but once we saw that we didn’t have plates or cutlery and asked the host about it he said that in all the websites it was said that none of the rooms were allowed to cook (I cannot find that information anywhere), and when I asked if it was possible to let us cook because we were counting on that to save money, the host was quite rude and unpleasant in the response.

• Beatriz (4/5): Disappointing - When we arrived, there was an animal locked inside furniture begging for help. We were not sure for how long/days the cat had been there. We phoned the owner and his first reaction was to assume the cat entered the property with us. The animal was locked in a furniture we didn't have the keys for so it was really disappointing we had to hear that from the owner. Also he didn't saw any sympathy for the animal as I was telling him to come as soon as possible to free him as he was going to die soon (very week meow).
• Bunting (7/5): Lovely stay with mesmerising views of the Med! - Great views and spacious accommodation. Clean and tidy. Many stairs (not unusual for Amalfi Coast) but bus stop close to accommodation access so was easy to manage. Check in communication via WhatsApp was poor from Host. We (together with other guests) needed to climb a wall to get in as no response from Host. No crockery or cutlery in a self catering unit.
