Guest Reviews
- Peter (10/5): - Sehr gute Lage. Sehr freundliches Personal.
- Abdullah (9/5): - I like the location of the hotel.
- Michał (9/5): -
- Hamid (4/5): -

- Fiona (10/5): Wonderful hotel in centre of Rabat - We have just spent a week at this wonderful hotel and can't recommend it enough. From start to finish the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They assisted with directions to locations and organised taxis for us. They even got our room ready for us even though we arrived early. Everyone greeted us with a smile and really made our stay in Rabat perfect.
The room was clean and well maintained and exactly as shown in the pictures. I have seen some reviews here stating the hotel is "run down" and this is completely incorrect. It is lovely and well kept, both inside and out.
The area is perfect - a very short walk to the medina and other beautiful sites. Cafes and lots of shops within just a few feet.
Breakfast at the hotel was filling with a selection of breads and pastries, olives, eggs and yoghurt. The Moroccan tea and fresh orange juice were a perfect addition.
The accommodation is perfect but the staff really make it special.
If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, I would. We will definitely return! Thank you so much to everyone there who made our first trip to Rabat so memorable.
- Judith (8/5): Comfortable hotel conveniently located for access to Medina & park - The staff were the best. So helpful, going out of their way to help me with directions, securing a taxi etc. couldn’t have been nicer.
Loved their thoughtfulness in selecting a quiet room for me w a small balcony. No complaints- it was very comfortable, quiet & conveniently located & less expensive than other Rabat hotels w worse locations.
- Shaun (10/5): It wonderful great location would recommend to anyone visiting Rabat - Comfortable, clean and staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing Nothing it was prefect
- abinnerts (10/5): - De sfeer .

- belkasmi (9/5): -
- Rachid (8/5): - Goed hotel en mooi locatie
- Henry (5/5): A hotel whose advantages and disadvantages are both obvious - First, the location is prefect. It is easy to get the Rabat medina and the Oudayas Fortress toward the north. We only stay in Rabat for two days and one night. If we stay longer, the rest sightseeings are also easy to arrive from the hotel, including the Hassan Tower in the east, the Rabat royal palace in the south, the sea shore in the west, and the various museum in the surrounding region. Second, the staffs are polite, friendly and enthusiastic. Thirdly, our room are located in the highest floor, with an amazing terrace which can overlook the city center of Rabat, park in front of the hotel, and the sunset. The room is clean. The old-fashion elavator is interesting. The buildings have a sense of age. First, the insects were too active in this hotel. There were too much mosquitos during our staying. We had killed nine, and at least one was still alive in our room till us gave up to chase it. This made us sleep not well. Besides, there were two midges found in the bathtub when we checked in, and numerous ants can be found on the floor, they try to climb into my slippers.
Second, the shower head was suddenly broken when I used it with completely routine operation, so I had to finish my shower with the water from faucet.
Third, the hotel began to be very noise during the moring at about 7:00~9:00. (after that, the environment get quiet again.)
Forth, we suggest that each room should be equipped by electric kettle.
Fifth, the water in the bathtub looks yellow.
- Monia (8/5): - Clean and calm, good location and staff super nice!
- Ali (10/5): -

- Cyril (8/5): -
- Jessica (8/5): - Medewerker hassan is de beste 😊
- Nour (2/5): I paid for 2 nights, checked out after the first night and found a better hotel nearby.the difference was day & nigh - Old building. Smells bad as soon as you walk through front doors. Pictures showing rooms show clean beds. Everything else is disappointing starting with size of room, size of bathroom, size of shower or “absence of shower” as a more accurate way of describing it. No value to staying at this property. Way overpriced for what it has to offer and description is not accurate by any means
- BERND KÜPPENBENDER (10/5): - Gute Lage, schöne Therasse, freundliches Personal Kein Wasserkocher, wenig Hacken im Bad
- Centraal gelegen De accommodatie is niks bijzonders.
- adel (8/5): -
- Andrejus (8/5): - Great location, in the heart of Rabat. 8 min walk from Central Station and 5 minutes to Medina.
Great park nearby. Hotel is old and needs some renovation. But it's clean, staff members doing great to keep it clean. Tasty breakfast, they not providing buffet meals, just bringing tonyour table some basic pastries, scrambled eggs, freshly squeezed juice, bread and on your choice tea or coffee. Very basic but enough for a start of the day. O lot of great cafes nearby if need more.
Rooms are basic, but equipped with mini fridge, tv, aircon, desk, table, chairs. Good size room, comfy beds with spotless bedsheets. I got a room with amazing terrace with breathtaking views of Rabat, a central square and sunsets.
I would stay again.

- Edward (9/5): Second visit to Rabat and still enjoyed it - Location, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff
Very comfortable beds Nothin specifically
- Mohamed Umbarak (4/5): -
- Wilhelm (6/5): zentrale, gute Lage, hilfsbereites, freundliches Personal - zentrale Lage, sehr freundliches Personal
- Rouda (6/5): Pleasant - During my stay at the Royal Hotel in Morocco, I encountered an issue regarding the payment process. Although the booking rate was provided in euros, the hotel refused to accept cash or visa payments in euros and insisted on payment in Moroccan dirhams. Moreover, the exchange rate they applied was significantly higher than the official rate, resulting in an unfair increase in the total amount paid.
- Fabian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Svetlana (9/5): Superb - Nice hotel, friendly staff
- Almuzaini (7/5): Good -
- Samira (9/5): Superb - Everything Nothing
- Kristiana (9/5): Superb - All is good.location staff and amazing breakfast. Not coffee machine and katle in room.if you won't tee or coffee you need go out and by.
- Alexander (7/5): Big rooms and cheap, but it is a rundown 3-star hotel - The spacious room and roof terrace.
Cheap price. Second coffee during breakfast costs extra.
The facilities are mostly rundown (bathroom door not closing, bathroom window in general, terrace door not closing).
Rationed toilet paper.
Outdated door lock mechanism.
The beds' position within the room. (It was hard to get my side of the bed).
The electrical roller shutters only support up or down position. You can't hold in between.
- Matas (10/5): Exceptional - The building design creates the romantic atmosphere of Belle Epoque. It is such a good alternative to depersonalised big chain hotels.
- Yousra (5/5): Great location, but privacy & comfort were a disappointment - Great location
Check-in staff were helpful The bed sheets were stained with strange marks.
The shower was outdated and not very clean.
A housekeeper tried to enter my room through the balcony door, thinking I wasn’t inside. When she saw me, she immediately ran back, jumping over the iron barriers separating the balconies.
If you’re staying here, make sure to lower the roller shutter whenever you leave the room.
Breakfast was extremely basic, and the quantity was very limited.
- Sean (2/5): Avoid at all costs - you won't be able to relax here. - The location. Bed was comfortable. Very, very noisy day and night. Loud slamming and banging noises echoing through the halls at all hours.
Flies everywhere.
Housekeeper - at least I think that's who it was, she didn't identify herself - came in through the balcony door without knocking. I was quite surprised by this.
It was hard to sleep and there was a lack of privacy. I left a day early.
- Amimi (7/5): Good -
- Ramos (10/5): Aconselho as pessoas ir lá - the staff are very friendly and helpful very cold room at night, no heater but the rest is very good
- Blair (8/5): Great place to stay. - This place was once a grand hotel, now the glamour has faded. But it’s still a good place to stay. Large marble staircase, old wooden windows with coloured glass, these are the remaining charms of the hotel.
Staff, especially Mohamed was friendly and helpful. Wonderful park next door and close to other interesting attractions.
We could have stayed longer. We stayed on the top floor with a terrace looking over the square. Shower over the bath. In time I’m sure they will update them.
- Kseniia (10/5): Friendly staff, great location, good breakfast - Comfortable room with big balcony
- Nadia (6/5): Great location, clean, friendly, secure. Final bill should have value in euros, for Europeans trave - Great location. Morning coffee, and fresh squeeze oranges very good.
Clean and secure hotel. When extended my state through the booking.com, with the same per night rate, the rate was not the same and the "Booking.com pays" was not deducted from the final bill. Was a lot of confusion due to different currency, and final bill was presented not in euros, but in dirham and conversion table was not available.
- Amer (10/5): Great place to stay in - The location is amazing. It's between the new city and the old city. Transportations are everywhere near the hotel. It's a 5-minute walk from the main train station.
The stuff is really great and polite. Mohamed is a great receptionist. The breakfast was so delicious.
I will go back to the same hotel when I visit the beautiful city of Rabat.
