• FREDERIQUE (4/5): Très bon emplacement, l’appartement nécessite un sérieux rafraîchissement !! - Douche vétuste pas d’eau chaude. Matelas à l’étage très dur. Un coussin caché l’énorme trou sur l’assise du fauteuil, celui ci était inutilisable. Nous avons avons appelé plusieurs fois la réception pour signaler les divers fonctionnalités mais personne n’a répondu positivement.

• LUC (8/5): - Appartement bien situé , agréable et calme, mais nous étions hors saison .Ce qui est également appréciable c'est le parking, mais il ne faut pas avoir une grosse voiture. Ce qui est dommage c'est qu'il est un peu vieillissant et pourquoi ce gros frigo qui prend tant de place dans la salle à manger.

• Ewa (10/5): Perfect location, comfortable place. - Before our arrival, I was worried that something might be off with this apartment. The price was quite low, and some comments about low temperatures or a smell coming from the bathroom made me think we might have problems. Big surprise! The apartment was very comfortable (1A). The mattresses were good, and the kitchen was equipped for 4 person, with a microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. There were two bathrooms - the small, but clean, with no smell whatsoever. The heater was working perfectly (we traveled with two kids). The balcony had a table with four chairs and a drying rack. There’s no space for sunbeds, but the beach is just around the corner! The supermarket and the pharmacy are on front of the building. Big help was a “welcome box” with salt, pepper, olive oil, tablets for dishwasher, laundry and 2 trash bags.

• ESTHER (6/5): Cómodo para pasar un fin de semana. - La ubicación, la luz que entra en el apartamento y la limpieza. Olor en los baños muy fuerte a cloaca y humedad. Sofá incomodísimo. Chimenea no utilizable. Hacía mucho frío cuando llegamos. La bomba de calor estaba apagada y hasta que se calentó todo, pasamos frío.

There was a terrible smell from the fireplace in apt 2B, so after first day we had to change to apt 2A that was ok. However, host was very understanding and there was no problem to change since it was low season. Beds are hard and not comfortable.

• ralph (9/5): A comfortable and well-located stay with great hospitality and excellent value for money. - The host called us about four hours before check-in and clearly explained everything — from how to collect the keys to nearby shops and restaurants. Their courtesy and communication were absolutely fantastic. The apartment felt just like home, with supermarkets and a pharmacy conveniently just a few steps away. Excellent value for money, especially since we visited during the off-season. There was some noise at night — not sure if it was from the units above or the road, but we frequently heard furniture being moved. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic location and a great apartment overall.
• Charlotte (8/5): Super localisation à deux pas de la mer - L'appartement est spacieux, très bien placé, à quelques pas de la mer. Il y a une superette juste en face et des petit restos à proximité. Nous avons adoré pouvoir faire un feu dans la cheminée (ils vendent du bois à l'épicerie en face!). Pas d'eau chaude le second jour, le lavabo de la salle de bain du rez de chaussée bouché, trop peu de couverts et de verres en cuisine... Il y a quelques améliorations à faire ! Mais l'appartement reste très agréable.

• Henriette (9/5): - L’emplacement est au top (1 minutes de la plage, des restaurants et des commerces). Le parking est un vrai confort. L’appartement est bien aménagé et très agréable. Cela fait une dizaine d’années que nous venons en décembre et nous espérons revenir l’année prochaine !

• David (8/5): - The apartment is spacious and warm. It has all you need if you are self catering (except a kettle) it's ideally located for the beach which is a one minute walk away. Its a 20 minute drive to the medieval villages and an hour from Girona. There's a supermarket across the road which was well stocked. The internet was reliable and we were able to stream football using our fire stick. Our children enjoyed the bath. The underground parking was good although a bit of a challenge to manoeuvre the car into the spot. We'd stay here again. Thanks
• Martine (10/5): Parfait - L'appartement est un duplex bien équipé, avec deux chambres disposant chacune d'une salle de bains. Parfait pour une famille avec deux enfants. Il est tout près de la plage et des chemins de randonnée. Le garage est réellement un plus. Nous tenons à remercier vivement les propriétaires qui nous ont renvoyé un sac à dos oublié dans l'appartement. Merci à eux !

• ISABEL (10/5): CONFORT I RELAX IDEAL EN DOS DIAS - todo el apartamento en si, muy confortable, no faltaba de nada y tampoco nos faltó de nada. Lo descrito en la reserva coincidió con lo que encontramos, incluso lo superó... electrodomésticos muy modernos, tv, dvd, chimenea (que no usamos pero que nos daba la sensación de relax que buscabamos) se que no tiene que ver con el apartamento, pero al haber ido en noviembre, todas las tiendas del pueblo estaban cerradas, y para comprar comida tubimos que coger el coche y ir al supermercado más cercano (a 10 minutos en coche, eso si, muy cerca)

• Cécile (9/5): D’excellents moments dans un environnement magnifique - La localisation, les équipements et la fonctionnalité La place de parking est inaccessible par un SUV. Les serviettes de toilettes étaient vraiment très usées.

• Marta (7/5): - Departamento bien ubicado, buen tamaño, con estacionamiento. Mucho olor a humedad al llegar, falta de limpieza. Parecía que llevaba varios días sin ventilar el departamento. Las toallas muy viejas, muy desagradable usarlas.
• Silke (7/5): Gute Wohnung mit kleinen Mängeln - Lage top aber laut - Die Lage ist sehr gut weil nah zum Strand, auch der kleine Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig mit einer schönen offenen Küche mit Spülmaschine und 2 Bädern (ein Bad "unten", ein zweites Bad die Treppe hoch neben dem zweiten Schlafraum), einem Fernseher mit Sofa und einer Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Die Wohnung ist im zweiten Stock, aber es gibt einen Fahrstuhl und ein ordentliches Treppenhaus. Was die Lage angeht, muss man sich bewusst sein, dass in der Nähe ein Restaurant mit Terrasse ist und auch die Straße recht befahren ist. Wir waren von Freitag bis Montag in der Nebensaison in der Wohnung, Freitagabend und Samstagabend war es doch sehr laut (die Fenster isolieren gut, aber wir schlafen halt gerne mit offenen Fenstern), Sonntagabend war es dann recht leise. Ich denke, in der Hauptsaison ist es immer laut.... Die ganze Wohnung bräuchte mal eine tiefe Grundreinigung und ein paar Reparaturen, insbesondere die Gardinen, Wasserhähne, der Duschvorhang etc.. Die Einstellung der Wassertemperatur in der Dusche unten war sehr schwierig. Das führt entweder zu großer Wasserverschwendung oder zu kaltem Duschen.

• Andrew (6/5): Acceptable ground floor appartment near beach in Llafranc - Location was close to the beach. The open plan kitchen, living room & bar worked for us. Ditto two bathrooms. The kitchen dishwashing kit was complete. The flat was a little on the dark side being on the ground floor. When we told the host that another guest's car was blocking access to our parking space, s/he asked us to find and speak them which seemed inappropriate.

• M.Angeles (6/5): Necesita mantenimiento - El apartamento estaba limpio y muy bien equipado, cocina, aire acondicionado, dos baños y un balcón amplio. Está en una calle transitada y con un varios restaurantes cerca así que huele bastante a la hora de las comidas. Lo peor es la falta de mantenimiento de las instalaciones. Los lavabos olían muy mal, supongo que por las tuberías y en la zona de la lavadora hacia un fuerte olor a humedad.
• neil (8/5): Great location, nice size and quite well equipped. - Location and apartment in general. Cleanliness is good. Nice balcony. Mattresses not very comfortable and need replacing. Bizarre situation with threadbare towells!! How much would it cost to put this right? Parking a bit of a challenge on your own....better with a second person to assist, dangerous to pedestrians when exiting. We had very noisy neighbours renting in the same building and the sofa cushions were soaked on our arrival and only dried out enough to use them on the last day. Don't be put off by any of this though, the apartment is really pretty good.

• Laura (8/5): Una estància per repetir! - Les claus s'han de recollir en el poble del costat. És cèntric i te parking. Un súper al costat amb pa diari i una farmàcia. Molt a prop de la platja. Amb ascensor! Els llits molt durs. Poc armari. Hi havia galleda pero no la fregona, només el pal. No hi havia cap llum per llegir des del sofà. Sort que la meva filla és jove i no l'importava pujar les escales tan empinades per anar a la seva habitació.

• Eoin (7/5): Good - Location was great, 1 minute walk to the beach and all of the restaurants and cafes in Llafranc. AC was good as were the kitchen facilities. Towels were poor quality and no option to have them changed. We were in a party of four, and only received one set of keys which made it awkward when people wanted to come and go as there was no reception or lockbox to leave the keys at.

For english guests there could a kettle to make tea! Great having two loos. Super lift to the underground carpark. There was nothing we didn't like!

We requested two cribs, but they did not provide any, so we had to call to request them. Luckily, someone showed up soon after to deliver them.

• Scott (7/5): Great location, good value for us in the off-season. - Location was amazing, one block from the beach, and right across from (I believe) the only grocery store in the neighborhood. Steps away from the hiking trails and restaurants as well. Very good layout for a family or two couples. Being there in the winter during a cold snap, many people had fireplaces going. This gave off a very unpleasant odor in our flat (we used the heaters, not the fireplace) which at times was difficult to experience considering we couldn't open the windows due to the cold weather. The hosts were away since it was the low season. I had a question about something and tried calling but there was no answer (it was during normal business hours). The parking 'exists' but is not for the feint of heart. If you have anything larger than a mid-size I think it would be very difficult. Much of the guidance was geared (understandably) to summer season, but it would have been great to have some info about what was open/available in low season as well.

• Jessica (7/5): Good - The location was fabulous in a lovely town. Apartment kitchen was well appointed and very clean, a great place for our family of four for a few days. The beds and bedding really require some improvements. Beds were rock hard, but soft enough to feel the coils (strangely). Could definitely do with a padded mattress topper.
• Vincent (8/5): Good flat in a great location but very little response or attempt at redress if anything breaks - Great location in the heart of Llafranc and just minutes from the beach Fuse kept tripping when hob and oven were on simultaneously. Broken shower door was not fixed during our stay so we had to make do with only one shower between 5 people. The owners made very little attempt to redress the inconvenience we had to put up with for 10 days
