- Deidre (9/5): We love 85 on Church and can't wait to come back! - Perfect location within walking distance of everything, beautiful garden, Elize was an attentive host. Comfortable living area with many outdoor areas. Our bed was very comfortable. Plenty of heating options between wall panels in the bedrooms, fireplace in the lounge and gas heater in the dining room. Luckily it didn't get tooo cold while we were there. One of the beds was a little tight for two adults. Another bed was apparently too soft. Ours was perfect! We would very much have appreciated some additional storage space in all the bedrooms.
- Nigel (8/5): The cottage was just what we needed for a long weekend in Prince Albert - The cottage was in an excellent location for walking around town and access to the Jazz festival venues. Elize was very helpful and attentive.
- Yvonne (8/5): -
- Chanine (10/5): - We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed another night! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the outdoor shower was a fantastic touch, and the location was perfect. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!" Nothing to add
- CHRISTOPHER (8/5): Very pleasant stay - Tranquil garden, pool and barbeque. Kitchen was a bit tight.
- Trudy-Anne (10/5): -
- Willie (9/5): Enjoyed the stay. It’s open plan so if you want to have the bath to yourself you will have a challenge. The toilet is se - We stayed in the converted apartment. Lots of space and comfortable, well within the price budget. The driveway was not conducive to a heavy cruiser motorcycle due to the loose stones/gravel. No problem like that with a car.
- Louise (9/5): Really enjoyed it - perfect loacation Fridge in cottage a bit small
- charles (7/5): In all, a pleasant stay in an old home with quaint aspects. Lovely garden at the entrance. - An old Karoo style home in an excellent position near to restaurants and other facilities. Comfortable, neat and clean with lovely sun drenched patio. The Braai grids were disgustingly dirty, and we could not use them. The house was very cold the day we stayed there. We had to run the shower for an unnecessary longtime before the hot water ran, inappropriate for water saving
- Juliana (10/5): Great! - We have been staying in the main house for many years, my first time in the cottage, just as great.
Elize is an excellent host, always helpful and available.
- Anja (10/5): Memorable - A beautiful old Karoo style house. Prince Albert is a must see when in South Africa. Elize was amazing. Always willing to help. Thank you for giving us a memorable stay

- Gerolf (3/5): Leider nicht so prickelnd, wir waren froh schnell wieder weg zu sein - Lage war gut Extrem altes Mobiliar, dunkel und nicht 100% sauber
- Nicci (9/5): An excellent little spot. Clean, private and a super comfortable bed and - Right in the centre of town. We could walk everywhere.
- Melani (10/5): -
- Manig (9/5): Main Street Spacious House - The location on the main street was wonderful. The space in the house was amazing - 3 double bedroom - 2 en suite and one with a separate bathroom. The pool was a great extra bonus. Loved the old school kitchen stove but all the modern requirements were met like dishwasher and even a washing machine. A great place to stay and great value for money Nothing. We loved out stay there
- Jenny (9/5): -
- ingrid (10/5): We loved all the seating areas, the look, the furniture, the garden, the pool - Very convenient location Parking. A turning circle or area to turn a car around would have been easier - instead 3 cars were parked in a row
- Belinda (7/5): It was a rustic and comfortable well priced night stop, close to lovely restaurants. - It was quiet and in a good location
- Mackuschla (10/5): -
- Judith (7/5): Enjoyable - Breakfast not included. Location good. A shower in the bathroom and bath not in the bedroom.
Parking good except if house occupied having to share driveway.
- Riané (8/5): -
- Glynn (7/5): Conveniently located, good amenities, enjoyed the pool. - Proximity to everything in the village. No air conditioner it was a boiling hot few days. Air conditioning would be lovely in the bedrooms.
- Engelbrecht (10/5): - Convenient and the friendlyness of the staff.
House is beautiful We can not complain
- Truida (9/5): - Very clean, and reminded us of the home we lived in as children. That it was not clinical
- wildrover57 (9/5): Enjoyable 2 night stay in picturesque town of Prince Albert - Pretty shabby-chic decorated cottage in grounds of larger house with garden. Comfortable & with everything we needed for the two of us.
Enjoyed sitting outside to eat our breakfast/ lunch under the shade of the trees. Within walking distance of all to see in town & a quick hop over the road to the restaurant "The Rude Chef".
Nice white bed linen with blankets & a thoughtful addition of a mosquito net & plug-in repellant. A bit of confusion on arrival. I had received instructions for self check-in but the visitors staying in the main house had gone out & padlocked the gate to the driveway.
We gained access to the cottage by climbing over the gate but the manager eventually came when I telephoned to explain problem. Young men hanging around begging while we were trying to sort things out!
Some of the photos on Booking.com show facilities for the main house rather than the one room cottage.
Pool not clean enough to tempt us. Had some trouble getting hot water for outside shower.
- Maria (10/5): Geweldig huis, we zouden weer heel graag hier willen terugkomen. Alles functioneert perfect. Helemaal niets
- Prospero (7/5): -
- John (8/5): Comfortable for our overnight stay. - Very conveniently located.
- SHANE (8/5): - Host very helpful. Very comfortable cottage with all amenities needed. Good location. Would recommend. Shower outside can only be used in good weather.
- Marius (10/5): -
- Giddey (9/5): - The aircon
The fitted kitchen and tea supply
The outdoor shower The pool has no handrail and we're both compromised with leg movement. B could not get out of the pool amd luckily another guest was there to help him. The steps were too big for me to climb after being paralysed....
Maybe just one on the corner that blends with the surroundings.

- Kim (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay in Prince Albert - Lovely little cottage, well located & good value for money
- Ann (8/5): Lovely quaint cottage. Enjoyed it! - Great location, very friendly hostess. Quint cottage, well-furnished and clean. Nice swimming pool (although did not swim) Shutters that could close properly for darkening the room at night. A double driveway - needed to organise with other clients whose car would be standing in front (I understand this is likely not solveable. Possibly tile the outdoor shower's floor?
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Carlynne (9/5): - Neat apartment. Refreshing outdoor shower; rustic farmhouse aesthetic
- Catherine (9/5): - Great property, central location. Very friendly host. Nothing

- Cidders (10/5): - The cottage is fullt equipped. So nice having a pool there on a very hot day.
- Louis (8/5): - Space and equipment Would loved an aircon instead of a fan.
- Adey (9/5): - Beautiful location, really excellent host, and very peaceful, private cottage. We would definitely stop here again.
- Aléz (10/5): Wonderful, and friendly hosts too! - The pool was amazing. Cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable, romantic stay. Nothing!

- van Zyl (8/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Nice stay, in hindsight we should have stayed two nights. - Nice location on the main street . We had the cottage and all facilities there were excellent and clean. Nothing
- Arina (9/5): - We had a lovely stay. Very spacious with lots of character. Will definitely be back next year.
- Pentz (6/5): -
- Slabbert (7/5): Good facility in town. - Good bed. Hot water. Clean. Everything needed to make lunch/ suppet/ breakfast No shower curtain. Dripping tap. No desent TV channels. Shutters broken. Light came in whole night
- Dom (10/5): Perfect location.. Beautiful house.. Great value - Beautiful property right in the centre of town. Lots and lots of space.. great value for the money.
- Susanne (9/5): - Schöner, gemütlicher Bungalow. Der Garten ist riesig mit Kräutergarten und kleinem Pool.
- Louise (5/5): Very disappointing. Photo’s are not a true reflection. - The outside area was good. Gardens are well maintained. Swimming pool was great. The house is in serious need of maintenance. House smells stuffy.
- Kim (9/5): A return trip is necessary - The room was beautiful and the kitchen was well equipped for everything. The pool was crisp and clear and we were able to swim on arrival. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.
- Geoff (8/5): - The house and cottage were great for our family gathering. Very central, easy walking distance to restaurants. The swimming pool was a must on hot days.We loved our stay in Prince Albert.
- Robert (9/5): Prima. - Heel mooi verblijf. Fijne tuin met eigen braai. Heerlijke buitendouche. Goed contact met verhuurster. Niks
- Heidi (10/5): Cozy jewel - Very cozy! We had access to a big garden, swimming pool and braai area. The shower area outside, with hot and cold water and very private, was an interesting experience! The big old bath in the room with only a screen to make it more private was actually very nice! All we needed and more. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
- Alan (9/5): Perfect place - Great Nothing
- Keegan (10/5): -
- Hannes (8/5): -
- Miki (9/5): -
- Joseph (9/5): A perfect spot for experiencing Prince Albert - We loved the pool and outdoor shower! The apartment space was spacious and met all our needs. The listing featured photos of the main property which felt misleading as we didn't have access to everything pictured but we really enjoyed our stay.
- JADEN (10/5): - Everything
- Marieta (10/5): - Whole trip in good and neat memory lane
- Cooney (10/5): Shower - Loved the garden and locality. Not anything not to like, but a door on the shower might be a plus as I experienced wind blowing the curtain into the cubicle one evening. Not a deal breaker though, we are definitely returning.
- Lawrence (9/5): -
- Steve van Wyk (10/5): - A very large cosy cottage with everything that you need. Nicely situated on the main road within walking distance of everything
- Judith (8/5): - Location nice and central and room very comfortable, secure, clean and warm. And met our needs for a place to sleep. Host also very responsive. The owner forgot to tell the host that we needed the sleeper couch made up but the host quickly brought us the bedding. I wasn't expecting the sleeper couch to be in the same room as the main bed - we were travelling with a friend but fortunately we know each other well and it was fine except the toilet didn't have a sound proof door so a little awkward with going to the loo etc. Also, it would have been nice to have an indoor shower or close in the outdoor shower - had to shower outside and was quite chilly.
Otherwise suited our needs for a quick stop over.
- Henriette (10/5): - no breakfast was served not sure about this question
- Liesl (8/5): The decor a bit depressing and there were no instructions on how to light the fire - The location was perfect, a short walk away from the restaurants and the centre of the village An electric blanket would have made things a lot more comfortable on the freezing night
- Hebert (8/5): -
- Fouche (9/5): -
- André (9/5): -
- helen (10/5): - I loved everything. Unique, friendly, clean, spacious and comfortable There was nothing I didn't like
