Lauren (10/5): - Daniela, the host, was warm, friendly, and inviting. She made us feel right at home at her beautiful house. The rooms and pool area are stunning, and the views are exceptional. Parking was private and included which was a great bonus. The house is at the top of a steep, bumpy road. Not an issue for us, but something to be aware of depending on your car!

Das Zimmer, der Pool und die gesamte Anlage sind sehr gepflegt und super schön. Casa Balata liegt etwas abseits und ist perfekt, wenn man etwas Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Das Essen war fantastisch. Das meiste kommt aus dem eigenen Garten und schmeckt großartig. Die Zimmer sind schön, groß und sauber. Absolut empfehlenswert. nichts

Es ist nicht nur eine Unterkunft, sondern ein wunderschön renoviertes und gestaltetes Kleinod mit Herz und Seele. Daniela ist nicht nur die perfekte Gastgeberin, sie macht diesen Ort mit ihrer Herzlichkeit und ihrer Liebe für schöne Details für uns zu einem zu Hause. Wir haben ausgezeichnet gegessen und die Kinder schwärmen vom Pool, dem Kindertisch und den Fleischbällchen 😊. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Aufgrund der Lage ist, das WLAN sehr ‚wackelig‘, aber an diesem wunderschönen Ort sind viele andere Dinge zu tun als zu surfen ☺️

The rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The Casa Balata house is beautiful and has lots of character. We had delicious breakfasts and dinners. Daniela and team were very friendly and looked after us very well.

Dinner was a highlight where we enjoyed a four course meal made from mainly ingredients from the property. Room was very clean and spacious and had a gorgeous shower. Would love to return to visit Casa Balata and Daniela again.

I will dream about returning! - From the personal welcome to the beautiful gardens and pool, most cozy bed and outdoor lounging areas, this was a fabulous splurge! We opted to have our dinners there and enjoyed the best authentic meals we had in Sicily. Daniela and her helpers are a class act! Very helpful and friendly. Everything was fabulous!

Karen (10/5): Casa Balata is an oasis in the desert! - The setting high on a hill overlooking rolling hills out to the sea was quiet and peaceful. The landscape was beautiful and native to the arid conditions with a variety of cacti and olive groves. The salt-water pool was delightful especially in the summer heat. The pebble floor made it easy to walk into without slipping. The modern rooms were impeccably clean and minimally decorated with natural fiber linens and homemade olive oil soaps and bottled water. Beds were the most comfortable. Meals were among the best we had in Sicily and the breakfast was light with croissant, fresh bread and fruit, homemade yogurt and superior cappuccino! Owner Daniela was a friendly and super host ready to accommodate most any need. She welcomed my teen daughter like she was her own. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Nothing

Victoria (10/5): Lovely Agriturismo with lovely host! - Daniella, the host, was so sweet and generous. She cooked up,two wonderful dinners for us and the food was some of the best we had in Sicily. It was the end of the season so we were the only ones there and it’s probably so much fun when the table is full of people to share stories with. Beautiful property. I think my only complaint would be that it is in a rather remote area. 20 minute drive to the valley of the temples.Daniella was so helpful to us when our car broke down and when we got a flat. I had no Italian so she became out interpreter and problem solver! Finding it…GPS leads you elsewhere. Daniella did give us more detailed instructions but we still got lost.
