На территории отеля есть уютные места, где можно в тишине и спокойствие посидеть вечером. Персонал говорит по-английски, всегда улыбается и быстро решает любые вопросы. Бассейн и сад — настоящее спасение в тайской жаре. Завтрак разнообразный, особенно понравились свежие фрукты. До главных достопримечательностей рукой подать. Цена полностью соответствует качеству. Критику не слушайте, за свои деньги это шикарное предложение в городе.

• Andy (8/5): Comfortable. clean hotel on the outskirts of Khon Kaen - The room was very big. The bed was comfortable. I liked the Thai style bathroom. There was an area with a comfortable sofa. The pool is lovely and was outside the room. Breakfast is basic but nicely cooked and tasty. There was a group of people talking outside the room until 2am, which wasn't ideal. The room smelt a bit musty when we first arrived. It seems to be quite a way from the city centre but my in-laws live close by so that wasn't an issue.

• Robert (4/5): Want to go back in time, visit Khon Kaen and La Villa. - It is a hotel in what I would call a part of Thailand that didn't change in 30 years. So don't expect a fluent English speaking staff or any other language. The hotel is not situated 500 m from the center but about 3km, so transport taxi, tuktuk, buffalo are mandatory. The room is big, too big in my opinion, and there is a small pool to cool down in. When you enter the lobby the airco is blazing and you can buy some drinks from the "restaurant". Well, I think it is a start-up by a new family, or simply neglected due to lack of money (a victim of Covid-19?). The safe only works with a key, the door opens only with a key (even though it could work with a keycard, but broken and not repaired), the bathroom is in the room outside on a terrace with a plastic roof and many pot plants. You must close the door of this bathroom when you want to sleep and the airco's on. The TV only has some Thai Channels. Breakfast is a disaster to my pallet, they even can't do the juice correct which is some powder with added water (we are in Thailand and not in France) But the people are friendly. But I think they cater to Thai clientele mostly. Don't let it stop you to stay here, the other options are rather expensive for this town.

We had a room upstairs overlookin - Good location for sight seeing, we had our own car to get around the city. May be more difficult if you haven’t got a car/ bike. Breakfast was ok, could be improved. Toaster was small kitchen toaster so always waiting for toast. Also pot with jam in was broken, not safe.

The room was very big but a little dated, the bed was comfortable. It is a few KM to the city centre but taxis and Grabs were easy and cheap. Very nice swimming pool, clean and well maintained. Breakfast had a good choice and fresh.

• Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - otel La Villa Fantastic little hotel. We had a huge room with terrace overlooking the pool. Very clean with a very comfortable bed. Top quality linen. Big bathroom and great shower My only complaint is that the bedside lights didn't work. My first thought at breakfast was that there was not a lot of choice. but what there is was fantastic and very fresh. The two ladies who work there are the most delightful people you could possible hope to meet. I had some Vietnamese stuffed bread. One lady noticed that I was eating it cold and put me another one in the oven provided. I also had the egg pan which was lovely. My partner had an omelette which looked and tasted delicious. It came with lots of very fresh salad. There is a small pool to cool down in. If you like to run cycle or walk it's close by to Krungthan lake. (1 kms) Plenty of places to eat at close by at night. I will definitely be returning but next time I will have a downstairs room by the pool as they have room to sit and eat outside with table and chairs. The bedside lights didn't work.

Pool was nice and clean and nice to chill out in. Breakfast is a mix of Western and Thai options and a fairly good selection on offer.

• Scott (6/5): Pleasant - At first sight the hotel looked good with the room at poolside and the room looked nice and big, also big bathroom with bath tub and separate shower. We just dropped off bags and went straight out so couldn’t really check. Breakfast was nice… lots of eggs choices and other choices. Swimming pool was good, lots of kids playing in the morning. Once we returned about 10:30pm there was hardly no parking space available in the car park. In the room there was only 1 spare plug, 3 if you took out the bedside lights. Small android tv with no extra plugs to plug any tv box in to which we always do while away from home so that we don’t have to watch only 15 or so thai channels. Air con unit was dated but still did the job but the remote was hardly working. Rooms looked dated or mine certainly was. Outside the room with our pool view was complete darkness when I woke up early but the other side of the resort was all lit up, couldn’t see any switches to turn on lights. In my opinion there is much better hotels and value for money in kk….. would I stay here in this room type again? 100% no! But saying that the hotel was packed with mix of Thai and western guests.

• Joshua Marc (4/5): - Room had flying bugs/mosquitos all over the place. I was shocked. Right when we checked in we saw them. When we asked to change rooms, they showed us a lesser room, not a better one like it should have been. They gave us bug spray to fix the problem. I was appalled. The flying insects kept joining our party all night long & were there in the morning, too. The pool had a greenish color. I had to double check it was indeed the pool because it looked like a large fountain. Very off color pool with the color green. I admit I took a dip, then immediately showered with soap. The only thing that saved this review from a terrible review, was the breakfast. It was great, cooked to order by the staff. They also featured Vietnamese food on the buffet line because this place is next to the Vietnamese Consulate. You can't have flying insects in an upgraded room, regardless if your hotel is set in a garden. It was your decision to build a garden, you have to make the proper preparations with insect removal.
