• Mario (10/5): Un Oasis en el caos de Ubud - La energía del lugar es muy muy buena. A pesar de no tener piscina, me he sentido muy muy bien. Las camas súpercómodas, nada de humedad (poco habitual en Bali) y bañera limpia en baño grande. Ah, y el desayuno genial. Está un poco apartado aunque no es un problema, es zona tranquila y sin ruído a 10 minutos de Ubud.

• Kyle (10/5): Wonderful stay near Ubud, peaceful, tranquil with great hosts and a beautiful property. - This was my second time and my fiancés first staying here. What’s not to love! Kevin and his family are such warm hearted welcoming people. The property is beautiful, tranquil and relaxing. The common area is very green with tropical plants and fruit trees. There is a koi pond with many koi fish just outside your bedroom with a small fountain which adds to the relaxing sounds. Also on the property are a few rescued kittens and her mama as well as a beautiful natured puppy, all of which are happy to come and sit with you while in the common area (they’re NOT a nuisance and they DO NOT try to enter your room) breakfast is included at the property and is a delicious meal consisting of eggs (how you like them) fresh fruit, tea and Bali coffee. There is a small fridge in the common area to get bottles of water, soft drinks and beers for additional costs (same or cheaper than circle k, pepito or other marts) we couldn’t recommend Kevin’s home stay anymore! Nothing we didn’t like (maybe that we couldn’t stay longer)

Za tú cenu naozaj dostupné, raňajky sme mali v cene ale ani raz sme ich nestihli lebo sme chodili skoro ráno na výlety. Majiteľ požičiava aj skútre za dobrú cenu. Všetko sa nám páčilo. Akurát možno lokalita od Ubudu je to trošku ďalej skútrom asi 20 min. A Tu v okolí neni tak rušno, ale nám to nevadilo vždy sme našli dobrú reštauráciu do 10 minút od ubytovania.

• Rovindo M (8/5): - Good location if you want to avoid the traffic and the crowds in central. Clean and quiet. The room comes with bathtub 🛀 which is nice. Good water pressure, hot water, and AC works great. They have shared kitchen and dining area with nice garden view. Very little options for restaurants and cafes nearby need to drive a little bit. The sink/wastafel is too high 😉 and would be best if they have on duty staff in the reception area and reply calls/messages especially when checking in/out.

• Ionut (10/5): Lovely stay with fresh breakfast and a calm setting near Ubud - I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean and the breakfast was a real treat with fresh fruit, good coffee and eggs made to order. The staff were kind enough to let me store my luggage before check-in, which made things much easier. Even though I booked a dorm room, I ended up having it all to myself, which was a nice surprise. The place is a little outside of Ubud center, but for me that worked out really well because it was quiet and peaceful while still being easy enough to get around. Overall, it felt welcoming, comfortable and a great value. I’d happily stay here again.

Está a unos 15–25 min en moto del centro de Ubud, así que conviene alquilar moto, pero sin duda vale la pena por todo lo que he comentado.

The attention from Kevi and Frisca was always kind, attentive, and very helpful with everything I needed. I traveled alone and felt safe, cared for, and supported the whole time, which made the experience even more special. The location is perfect for those who want to relax and get away from the chaos of Ubud’s center, but it’s still close enough to easily go out for a walk. The room is exactly as shown in the photos: spacious, bright, comfortable, and very cozy. Everything was spotless during my stay. I would definitely come back without hesitation. This place combines peace, comfort, and the kind of warm hospitality that truly makes a difference.

We were in the room next to the fishpond and could watch the fishes. All the facilities felt even better in reality than they look in the pictures. Also the breakfast was great and the owner was very friendly, which made the two nights there a perfect experience. The driver did not find the homestay and we needed to ask the people on the street. At arrival the was no staff present and to get somebody we needed to pass some barking dogs. Which is not optimal, if you are afraid of dogs.

• Vlad (3/5): Worst experience - We booked and paid in advance 14 nights but we ended up sleeping there only 2 nights, until we found another place to stay. The room was full full of mould and it smelled very very bad. The bathroom was very dirty and also full of mould. It was not possible to stay there because we didn t want to get sick. They also delete the bad reviews on google. In the pictures it looks good, but the reality is very cruel. The breakfast was decent, that s the only good thing about this hotel. I asked for refund and the owner said to talked with booking and booking said couldn t do anything because the owner was not responding. But that s also booking's fault because they let such kind of properties and owners use their services. The owner looked friendly until i asked about a refund. I din t asked for a full refund, asked for a 50% refund not to be rude with him, but unfortunately he didn t care at all. Very unprofessional at all

Beautiful decor but the trickeling of the water can be a bit annoying at night.

• Iris (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed with a friend here for 5-nights total. It was super comfortable! There was plenty of space in the room equipped with our own private bathroom. The facilities were clean and the beds were comfortable. They provide towels for you without cost. The room has a ton of great storage options and they also have clothing hangers. They tidy your room upon request. They serve breakfast every morning from 8am-10am. They have a menu selection that you can choose from and you can message Kevin what you would like. They have a small shared kitchen area for guests where you can find a water dispenser and a small fridge. The place comes with a cute orange kitty you might be able to see roaming around. The location is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. I enjoyed staying here after hostel hopping for a month. This is a great way to spoil yourself without breaking the bank. They provide tours and activities as well. I did not know this until after booking all my tours so I recommend taking a look at what they have to offer. I attached an image of their services. Just want to give a heads up to other travelers that our bathroom was only equipped with toothbrushes and bar soap. We used the bar soap for both hand and body wash. We brought our own shampoo and conditioner to use. There is no hair dryer. Additionally, it was a bit difficult to flag down staff members when we needed help. However, Kevin was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and would send a staff out for help when requested!
• Maziar (9/5): In total it was a very enjoyable experience staying in this hotel. - The property is clean, breakfast is good but menu is a bit limited. The room does not have fridge and electric kettle. The property is about 30 minute drive from the city centre and the main means of transport is motor bike or taxi. Kevin (hotel owner) can organise renting bike with or without rider for you. As a 3 star accommodation, the room should have had a small fridge and electric kettle. The breakfast area is made of glossy stone and is very slippery, a sign could help preventing people from slipping and hurting themselves.

The room (4-dorm) is small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing- especially the Jeje Bali! But the true worth of it is Kevin and his team!! Thank you so much. Also renting a scooter is easy and so you can arrive everything pretty quick. Nothing

The common area where we have breakfast in nicely decorated and very pleasant to start the day - breakfast is also delicious by the way. The lush garden and the fish pond next to the rooms make this a very peaceful place for a good night of sleep. The bathroom gets very wet after the shower because the water spills over, so I'd suggest providing two towel-mats to keep the floor dry and prevent accidents.

• Isis (9/5): Very pleasant stay in this Balinese homestay - Very nice family business. After few days in Ubud staying close to the center, we wanted a more relaxed and cultural experience. No regrets! They have four rooms available in their family backyard. Everything very private and nicely setup. Cosy garden and common area for breakfast. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff received us very well and information on the breakfast and bike to rent. The breakfast was nicely prepared by the owner's daughter, simple but good. I would recommend this place and come back in the next visit. Nothing much negatively about this place. I can mention that it's bit far from the centre of Ubud, which we knew before. For us it wasn't a big issue as first days in Ubud we stayed closer to the centre and we wanted to relax more. Also we rented a bike which makes things easier. Other small and easy-to-fix things were, no room service (making bed and changing towels), shower head support was broken, so we have to hold it at all times (this was an issue in other commomodations we stayed in Bali as well, maybe it's just how it is) and few rats outside in the garden.

This place is owned by a lovely family, always keen to have a talk, and share good activities. They are really flexible. I recommend 100% this place.

You can hear the water all night. If you are a light sleeper, you may have difficulties in sleeping. It is also a bit far from the centre.

What sets Alam Pracetha apart is the genuine hospitality of Kevin and his family. Their home feels like an extension of their lives, and they graciously welcomed me into their space. I particularly cherished the daily meditation sessions in their tranquil outdoor area. The home-cooked meals were a culinary delight, featuring fresh produce straight from their garden. The taste of their jackfruit brought back fond memories of my mother. It's these small touches that make Alam Pracetha truly special. If you crave a countryside retreat immersed in Balinese culture, look no further than Alam Pracetha. It's a place where you'll feel truly at home.
