Nick was really welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and the breakfasts were very tasty & substantial. Nothing, it was the perfect stay!

• Karis (10/5): The perfect place to stay in The New Forest. - Everything was perfect and I couldn't recommend this place more. Warm room, parking, great location (very short walk into Lyndhurst, highly recommend visiting the Fox and Hounds for great food), clean room (and tidied up every time we went out), really friendly and attentive host (Nick), and the most delicious cooked breakfast. Nick also went above and beyond with helping me surprise my partner with a cute birthday set up to come down to at breakfast. We will absolutely be back again. Couldn't fault a thing.

Plenty of places to eat within walking distance The room was Very clean and comfortable, the bath was a bonus with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent with lots on offer Coffee was lovely We don’t do B&B usually as we find it awkward regarding noise and intruding in other people’s space but as we were the only guests at the time it wasn’t a problem.

The room was impeccably clean with all the modern comforts you could want, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully executed, generous, and absolutely delicious. The location is ideal too—just a two-minute walk to eateries and cafés, close to the NF trails, and with a small on-site parking area that was very convenient. A fantastic bed and breakfast that we’d happily return to. Nothing. Everything perfect!
• SANDRA (9/5): Pleasant and convivial stay allowing us to make the most of our visit to the New Forest. - Well-catered breakfast. Considerate and accommodating hosts over a relatively long stay. Great location for accessing Lyndhurst. Servicing of room on a daily basis was appreciated. No area to sit in other than the bedroom except for breakfast. Room a little snug with two suitcases. No access to a small fridge nor laundry facilities especially if staying more than one or two nights. Short stays obviously more suitable for the property.

Lovely to have tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits in the room. Well-cooked breakfast to order - could be elevated with better quality ingredients, e.g., croissants, sausages. Some road noise in room 1 (at the front of the house). Room 2 would probably be quieter at the back.

We enjoyed the lovely filling breakfast. We plan to return the same time next year and would definitely recommend a stay there.

• Dawn (10/5): A night in Lyndhurst - The position of the property was excellent. Just before the ever constant traffic jam to get onto the high street. It was close to all local amenities & we were allowed to park prior to check in to explore our favourite places. We were greeted at the door and taken personally to our room. We had expected a high level of customer service ( from reviews ) & that's exactly what we experienced from start to finish. Linens & towels were great, as were the complimentary toiletries and beverage station. The bed was very comfortable, and the temperature in the room/ bathroom spot on. Breakfast ( pre ordered) was very good for both meat & non meat options. There was nothing we did not like. We were sad to leave, & my bag was carried to the car for me!

The hosts, Nick and Judith, are very friendly and put themselves out to make the stay such a pleasure. The breakfast choice is excellent and cooked perfectly. It is in an ideal situation for walking into Lyndhurst or driving into the New Forest to explore. In Lyndhurst there are many places to eat dinner with a choice of different cuisine. There is absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

• Walburga (10/5): Empfehlenswerte Adresse - Ich war schon einmal hier und würde es immer wieder buchen. Es ist zentral gelegen mit Parkplatz und ganz lieben Gastgebern. Das Frühstück, vom Gastgeber zubereitet, war köstlich. und ich liebe die Betten im Avalon. Es gibt nichts, was mir nicht gefallen hat.
