Karl Henry (6/5): - Koder til dør og rom passet ikke ved adkomst. Ble liggende fra til kl. 02.30 før endelig søvn. Var mye merkelig støy enten fra rør drypø eller noe annet. Savnet å finne kaffen både på kvelden og frokosten. Maten var god.

Ellers flott frokostpakke i kjøleskapet og romslig rom med greit bad. Noe eldre interiør, men uproblematisk da dette må forventes i slik prisklasse. Fin parkering. Gangavstand til alt nødvendig. Hotellet er til salgs stod det i vinduet.
Bartosz (6/5): - Well, I didn't see any staff during check in and check out. Rooms are spacious, but furnishing and decor is old. Food was preapered ready and left in a fridge, so there was nothing hot to eat at the morning. Advantage is free parking, simple check-in, good price like on norwegian conditions, close to city center on foot, generally not too bad.

peeter (4/5): o not expect too much! - It was a bit confusing to check in! Diffenet signs lead to different doors and all are closed. I did not get the instructions, so it was a bit complicated to figure out, how to get the room. A bit boring place...looks like the hotel is in sale anyway. Did not like the attittude of the dude I was talking on phone. Not at all! The area is a bit boring...but parking was free at least!

Trine (8/5): Liten tur til Stavanger - Bra opphold. Nå under korona fikk man matkurv inn på rommet og det var eget kjøleskap. Det ble satt pris på. Rent sengetøy, rent på rommene og på badet. Det eneste minuset var at det var lytt. Vi bodde i 1 etg. dvs. rett ved døren med smekklås, denne hørtes godt inne på rommet. Hørte også alle som kom inn i gangen. Anbefaler å ønske seg et rom opp i høyden på hotellet.
Roald (6/5): - sentralt men mye trafikk støy fra veien,kunne trenge og å fornye møblene ,fikk oppgitt koder for bruk til og komme inn men koden til dør fra parkering manglet, så heldigvis kom der folk som hjalp Fikk oppgitt feil kode til rommet så igjen måtte vi søke hjelp.Konklusjon.Litt dårlig med så mange ting feil som kunne vært unngått med litt mer nøyaktighet fra hotellets side.

Verified traveler (2/5): - Honestly, this is probably the worst hotel/B&B experience I've ever had. The place utilizes self check in, which is a convenient thing for guests arriving late in the evening like we did. However, the code we were given to access our room key was incorrect. So, I had to call one of the staff members at 11pm in order to get the correct code so we could get into our room. Immediately upon entering, we realized there was no attached bathroom, something that was not explicitly stated when we booked the room. Okay, that one's on me for not doing my due diligence. Although, upon returning from the bathroom, my fiance and I found SEVERAL, that's right not one, or two, but several insects crawling around our room. That, my friends, was the last straw. Not only did the staff not provide us with the correct code to get into our room, but the place was disgusting and crawling with insects. A word to the wise: even though it might appear to be a good deal, DO NOT stay here. I even asked for some type of partial refund or any type of reparation, and they've been ignoring me. You have been warned.

stavangerjenta123 (4/5): Cheap, but good location - I stayed @ the Little Stavanger Hotel a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully only for one night. If you are looking for very cheap overnight stay near town, and are used to hostel standard, don't mind sharing with others etc, then this is ok choice. This is not the place to recommend to your in laws / friends, and certainly not for a romantic weekend away! Luckily my mission was just for an interview and girls night out. The whole place needs a bit of study facelift inside. Decor on walls upstairs is old, the rooms not ventilated (couldn't open the window where I stayed, i.e. Room 36) and shower failities need updating again with regards to ventilation (mildew on ceiling). Bring bathing slippers! Could do with better door insulation too. Very noisey, and doesn't feel very safe when locked. See photos also - a few broken parts here & there. Room 36 is tiny (that was the cheapest accommodation option) so do not get too surprised 😳 But had at fridge (noisy, especially night time), radiator, hairdryer, sink, seat & tv. Would have been nice with a few more hangers to hang ones clothes on. Or hooks on wall / door to hang things on (rather than a fire extinguisher pipe!) Also the opportunity to be able to get fresh air, i.e. open windows where one is sleeping would be nice (got very stuffy in there as soon as electric radiator was put on). However; the good sides were: • close proximity to Stavanger torn center • handy with 'own' key deposit box / key codes to get in/out • flexibility with check in time • answer their emails quickly • clean bed sheet / towel • nice that one can warm up ones meals in microwave • free coffee/tea facility • nice selection of breakfast items • polite staff working there (only saw one lady all entire time. She seemed super busy, but when I had questions she was happy to help) The hotel feels cold inside in dining area, hallway, toilets etc - so wrap up warm! I went in March as it was still cold. Ps: this place is not suitable for parents with lots of child luggage, prams etc, nor anyone with a wheelchair. No lift.
JarkkoP96 (2/5): Beware of this hotel - I booked this hotel through hotels.com for a 2 week visit to Stavanger. Upon entering the premises between 3pm and 4pm on 5.11. the reception was closed. I spent the entire evening trying to contact the hotel with all possible ways imaginable (intercom outside, phone, email, Facebook), however I couldn't receive any response from the venue. Ultimately I contacted hotels.com, and their personnel also tried to contact the venue, but they were not able to contact them either. Ultimately they decided to relocate me into another hotel. Even though the hotel did not accomodate me, they still refuse to refund me. So book this hotel only if you are sure you can afford to get yourself another hotel in case you cannot get in.

AUSNC (8/5): Good hotel for the price and free parking! - This place is very good value, especially given how close they are to the sentrum area. Plus as an added bonus it has free parking if you are driving around Norway. The breakfast are pretty decent add well.
Sandra (10/5): “ Home away from Home” - Great little hotel...cosy, peaceful, but only a 5-10 minutes stroll to the centre. All mods and con in place. Cosy bed, spacious shower with lovely hot water, mixer tap in the bathroom. Huge leather sofa in the room,, almost like a bedsit/hybel. My room was clean, with a fan, and a heater for comfort either way. Tea/coffee, hot/cold water nearby. Breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of choices, and also the possibility of ordering a meal in the small restaurant/cafe. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would definitely stay there again!

tomcunningham1818 (10/5): Amazing hotel stay - We stayed here for 2 nights and the staff were amazing there - they let us leave our bags for the day before we stayed there while we went hiking, they helped me out when I lost my passport and printed out boarding passes for us. The room was clean and spacious with a sofa and the shared shower and bathroom were perfectly functional. Wifi was good as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Verified traveler (8/5): Affordable no-frills option close to city center - The hotel is fine for an affordable stay in a fairly expensive country. There isn't much to speak of in the area directly around the hotel, but it's a quick walk to the city center to get the most out of quaint Stavanger. If you are doing any tours while visiting, this is a good spot to be in as it's very close to a lot of the meeting points as well as a 2 minute walk from the airport bus pick-up. The hotel is no frills, but has keyless entry, making for an easy checkin if you arrive late. The room was clean but as it was on the top floor it was extremely warm during the summer heat wave. There is free coffee, tea, and filtered water in the hotel and while breakfast wasn't anything fancy, it's enough to get you going and allow you to save a little bit on money. All in all a fine stay for a budget option.
priscillar424 (6/5): Great! - After reading the reviews I was a bit worried it wouldn’t be the right place but I was not disappointed. It was the cheapest accommodation I could find in Stavanger and it was good for the price we paid. We stayed for 5 days, breakfast is included and it saves you a lot of money (the places in the city are a bit pricey). The room size was big and we had a little sink to brush our teeth and a hair dryer. We shared a toilet and a shower but it was very clean! You also have access to water and tea outside the room. There’s a fridge in the room ( a bit noisy) and free parking and wifi. The bus from the airport left us literally in front of the hotel and it’s a really good location, really close to the city center. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel this is not the one but definitely one to look at if you are looking for a place to sleep!
adrianmW9087RE (4/5): Not good for a long stay - To be fair, I don't know how much my 5-night stay cost because the booking was made via a prepaid voucher by my employer, but I assume it was at a relatively low cost. I arrived at midnight on a Sunday and was tired following a long day flying. I couldn't get in the hotel because the reception closed at 8 pm therefore I kept ringing the bell. Eventually a grumpy man let me in and told me I should have used the unlock code he'd emailed me. It turns out this was sent to my PA on Saturday evening but she didn't get to work until Monday so there was no way I could have received it. Also, to park I was supposed to have sent an email ahead of time with my car details but I'm not a clairvoyant hence I didn't know what rental car I was going to be given at the airport... There was no maid service for room cleaning so I had to make do with one pathetic bath towel for 5 days. The bed was awful and it took me a couple of hours each morning to stand up straight which was particularly annoying because my work can be physically demanding. The restricted hours of the reception meant that I couldn't book an early breakfast when needed. Perhaps one is available but I never got to find out. When I was able to make breakfast the buffet was OK. Overall, this is not a good hotel choice if staying more than one night due to its limited service and somewhat surly attitude.
PaulRudy (6/5): Cheap and okay - We had a room and shared the toilet and shower. Everyting was clean, the room was very large, but the furniture was old. Because of the loud noise of the road next to the hotel, you have to close all windows during the night. The staff was very friendly and even made us a free lunch package because we dit not had the time for breakfast on the day of our departure!
839jillianr (8/5): Good price for a nice friendly hotel - Breakfast was a bit boring with the same food every day. but otherwise okay.Perhaps a change of cold meats, change of cereals and cheeses would be nice. Coffee from the machine was good. Not ultra modern but a clean comfortable and affordable hotel, which was what we were looking for. 눇Property was about 10 mins walk to all activities which was great. Beds were great as were the pillows. Very comfortable. Hot shower with good force of water. Bus stop around the corner to the airport was very handy. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very quiet and could not hear any noise whatsoever from other rooms even though the hotel was busy. Due to some reviews I was a bit worried about the check in after hours and the door codes etc, but this was no problem and I was emailed the codes in good time before my arrival. Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
2billd (6/5): Inexpensive No-frills Place to Stay - This is (by Norwegian standards) an inexpensive place to stay, about 10-15 minutes' walk up the hill from the centre of Stavanger. The hotel occupies an old building which has no lift, so be prepared for a climb up the stairs with your bags if you're allocated a room on the fourth floor as I was. Bathroom facilities are shared rather than en suite but were clean and perfectly usable. The hotel is also a café and provided a good breakfast. Altogether, this was a good budget place to stay in Stavanger, although next time I'd probably pay a bit more for a better location and more up-to-date facilities.
TorgerB (6/5): Cheap with some drawbacks - This little hotel could have deserved a bit higher rating, but standard is not more than average. We arrived by car, and easily found the free parking area for hotel guests just behind the building. Booking had been made electronically and we had received codes for back entrance and room assignment before arrival. The code for the back door functioned fine, and we could search for our room. Then troubles started. We had got a code for opening a key box next to the room door. The idea was that the room key was deposited inside this box. The code for the box, however, did not work. Luckily we arrived at a time when there was someone at the reception, and we asked for help. Unfortunately, the very friendly lady could not make it either, so we went down to the little café for a lunch while waiting. The lunch was good and cheap, but tasted good. An omelette for 47 NOK is a bargain in this town. While we had our lunch a man came with a door key, which worked, and we could book into our room. It was quite big, with separate chairs and a bathroom. This day was sunny, the room facing the street, and being to the south, it was extremely warm. The traffic just outside was heavy and noisy, so opening the window was not a real alternative. Needless to say, the room had no air condition. The traffic slowed down a bit during night, and so did the temperature. The bathroom was very small, but had a good shower, and facilties were clean. The free wifi functioned, but was a bit slow. If you visit a hot summer day it may be advisable to choose a place a bit more expensive to have a better experience.
courtneyt813 (6/5): Cheap and close to bus station. - It was the cheapest place you could stay and still have your own room (shared bathroom) and I was pleasantly surprised. Little room (40) but it was clean, wifi worked really well and it is a 2 min work from bus station. I liked it, I would stay there again as Stavanger is expensive I paid £65 a night here but couldn't get a hotel for less than £120 and I don't share rooms with strangers so this is a nice alternative.
tomwjsimpson (8/5): Great little hotel within 10-15 minute walk of city centre - Located a 10-15 minute walk away from city centre. 10 minutes to train/bus station. Great little hotel, basic rooms but they have all that you would need. Cold water and tea and coffee available on each landing. Excellent continental breakfast buffet. Would recommend for a short term, budget stay.
508brittk (6/5): Nice and simple - Stavanger lille hotel a low budget hotel, but the standard could have been a little bit higher. They didn't have a hairdryer, so I had to improvise and use the floor fan. That was a bit fun. I had the opportunity though, to make myself a nice cup of tea. I found a microwave, some teabags, and a water cooler in the hallway. The surface was clean, but I could see mould in the corners of the bathroom. They served a simple but nice breakfast. When I got used to the hotel, I quite enjoyed the stay. They promised "Bed and breakfast," and that was exactly what I got. We talked a lot about the curtains, especially those in the reception. They are beyond comments. Fantastic! I think...
573jensq (2/5): terrible standard comperred to the price - Stayed here for 2 nights in the middel of the week. slept at the guesthouse which are few minutes from the hotel. Room was in bad shape, smelly and very warm, window could not be closed, a lots of noise from neighbors and the street, shower in the hall was damaged, there were no sink in the rom. A very big and noisy refrigerator was standing in the room. Had to take the power of because of the noise. breakfast was ok. The place is totally overpriced. I payed 980 kr for 2 nights. not worth more than the half.
sackrebleu (10/5): Pleasant, clean and for a good price - I enjoyed the stay in this hotel as it was ideal for backpackers. Good price (for Norway), good location, everything was clean, even the showers area. The room has a fridge and an electric kettle so you can store food and make some tea/coffee which is great for colder days. There was a complimentary breakfast package as well which came as a surprise which was another plus.
somnorific (10/5): I loved this hotel. Great location, price, and breakfast. - I really don't understand why this hotel has such a low rating. It may be because the people who left the bad reviews didn't stay in the actual hotel. This hotel has other properties that are further from the center. We stayed in the actual hotel as listed at "Madlaveien 7". The room was nice, the breakfast was lovely (with coffee/biscuits/yogurt available ALL day! A very nice touch!) and with Stavanger being so expensive, the price of this hotel was a total bargain. Stavanger itself is incredibly charming, and I'd love to visit it again one day.
rshloz (6/5): Good but overpriced - Clean, quiet, well kept room and facilities in a decent location, but too no frills for the price - where other places at the price range provided breakfast buffets, this room came with pre-packaged breakfast sandwich with no choice over - and it happened to be stuff I cannot eat.
VegieCalling (4/5): Unclean, unpleasant - They have located us in a guesthouse, with good location, but that was all that is had as good. The showers were not very clean, you could see some crust growing in the corners of the shower. It is very uncomfortable to go to the bathroom and being so much aware of all the places you want to avoid touching. There was a moldy kettle in the room. The curtains were very dusty. I would not recommend staying there unless you do not mind "not-so-clean" places. We have only met two members of the staff - not very welcoming.
WonderingN (8/5): Good Staff and Breakfast - I stayed in this hotel for several days in early June. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved the breakfast. The wi-fi was working well. My room was also big. The location was not in the city center but was just a 10 minutes walk distance. Just one thing, you need to pay attention to the crosses of the road.
