Guest Reviews
- Ediz (6/5): - Konumu güzel her yere 1-2 dk yürüme mesafesinde . Bizim kaldığımız oda çok küçüktü rahat hareket edemedik . Lobi yok gibi birşey çalışan Charli yi 30 dk yan otelde bekledik . Yeri güzel ama ilk seferde navigasyonsuz zor bulunur
- Hector (10/5): - The room was very clean and better tham expected. The staff at the reception was very professional and friendly. The breakfast is an international type (not Greek). The coffee from the machines they have isnt great, but does the trick.
Location is top notch and everything is close.
- Milica (8/5): - Nice
- Suat (8/5): - We will be back
- Irving (4/5): - The lobby was unattended. We called to get directions to enter the hotel and had to wait several minutes to get someone to tell us about the lockbox to enter the lobby. We were then told somone would come to get us into our room. After waiting 25 minutes we called again. After waiting and confusing conversation we learned the keys to our room were in a drawer in the lobby.
We understand staffing issues creating the need for alternate check in procedure. But the directions were totally insufficient.
Otherwise the hotel and room were find
- Jane (8/5): - This is a lovely little hotel. The rooms are clean & the bed was comfy. Breakfast served on the roof was delicious, and gorgeous views. Very friendly staff. We would stay here again.
- Robert (6/5): Location but lacking - Fine location in Old Town. Staff service was excellent. Television did not work during European Cup. Terrace upstairs was commendable. Shower was very tight.
- jenny (10/5): - Wonderfully quaint and quirky as I’d hoped. Adequate breakfast tray but a delight to eat it on the roof terrace with such lovely views and in the evenings we could go up there with a bottle of local wine bought round the corner (glasses and corkscrew provided in room). We also made full use of our spa tub up on the roof.
We slept well as the room stayed dark and cool in a very hot week. Central to all the sights in the medieval city and no end of restaurants (try MarcoPolo).
We were well looked after and recommend the experience of staying in this property.
- LISA (8/5): - Struttura appena entrati nelle mura di Rodi.
- Nikolaos (10/5): - Good place and clean
- justin (10/5): - Awesome experience in medieval town highly recommended
- justin (10/5): - A fantastic experience in a medieval walled fortress, just amaxing ,rooftop patio and hottub
- Barbara (10/5): - In an ancient, newly renovated building on a tiny cobble street in the middle of the old town of Rhodes near absolutely everything worth seeing - and that's a lot. Wonderful included breakfast on the roof terrace with an incredible view. I was so happy, I extended my stay.
- Barbara (10/5): - It was like staying in a quiet inn of old. On a cobble alley with a gorgeous breakfast rooftop view. I'm glad a stayed for a while.
- Gayle (10/5): Nice room in residential Old Town - I stayed in the ground floor room with the stone arch. It was very comfortable. It was cool to be in the residential part of Old Town. Nice view from the roof where a large, simple breakfast is served. There is a private hot tub on the roof as well.
- PETER (6/5): - Cost cutting seems the most adequate, e.g. no front desk, no telephones, no maps, cleaner on restricted hours. There is a belief that technology provides the solutions. Not easy to find, but quiet and a beautiful rooftop breakfast view across the old town.
- Ina (10/5): - We had a really nice stay here. Stefano, Kyril and Maria all worked hard to make us feel comfortable.
It is a basic small room but clean, quiet and comfortable and in a very nice location.
- JONATHAN (8/5): Cute but basic place ideally situated - This hotel is a very nice and quiet spot in the heart of the old town. The facilities are basic and the bathroom nothing to write home about but it’s very good value and has lovely staff.
- Michael (8/5): - This is a tiny family-run boutique hotel in the Old Town. It's so far into the Old Town that you have to walk 200m on a several-hundred-year-old pebble pathway just to get there. The room is small but functional. They sent me two messages to confirm my arrival time and then weren't there at that time, albeit earlier than normal but I came on the ferry so they should understand and have some flexibility. Then when I checked out I had to walk back and pay the 50c/day tax that she forgot to collect at checkin but she didn't have any change for my coins. Ugh. Bottom line: Interesting place, management needs work.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A hidden gem - Wonderful two night stay, very central location for Rhodes Old Town, was a challenge to find but worth it (don’t rely on google maps for best route), very quaint historical neighborhood, very comfortable bed, loved the room, nice rooftop patio

- donald (8/5): - We stayed for one night to catch an early boat trip .Kate was really excellent by producing a breakfast at 7.15 instead of 8 am .
Lovely person wonderfully helpful.
Accommodation ideal for one night which included a.c
And the roof top area was distant enough from the main town night life to ensure a good sleep.
It would be difficult to find the hotel arriving late in the dark along a very narrow 6 ft and probably not what a single person may feel daunting an uncomfortable with.it was on an offshoot of the 6 ft wide lane.
More for the adventurous ,it was a little gem and reminded us of a Riad in Marrakesh .
We loved it
- Nick (8/5): Very nice apartment for few nights in old town - Very friendly host. Amazing location and great experience. Just for the sake of clarification - it is an apartment in the Rhodes old town. Not a shiny hotel with a pool. So the review is subjective to expectations.
- andrea (8/5): Handy location - Perfect location in the town of Rhodes. This was a 1 night stay as part of a longer trip. Ideal for a nights stay
- Peter (10/5): - Great location and view
- Eirini (8/5): - Excellent location in old town and yet very quiet.
Clean with fresh towels daily.
It has all basic things you need and good value for money.
There is a smell in the bathroom and room that you can't get rid of as there is only a tiny window on top of the bed.
Other than that all good
- Radiana (10/5): Great service & location - Really nice basic hotel, on a charming little street in the old town, walking distance to absolutely everything! The roof terrace was so lovely and private, and breakfast on the terrace was a big plus. Kate is very lovely and Stefano is super helpful, thanks to both!
- Chan (10/5): - Place was really beautiful and was perfectly situated in the Old Town. Staff were lovely and gave some tips for places for dinner and the breakfast they served was nice with a bit of a variety.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property is accessed by walking along very narrow - less than 6 feet wide - alleys over very loose and rough cobblestones. It is very hard to roll suitcases. The alleys are filled with trash and very dark at night. The hotel is unattended and deliberately left dark at night. If you have an accident, there is no one to help and no phones to call for help. Bathroom was filled with mildew. No soap in the bathroom and half a roll of toilet paper. Most concerning, I was instructed by the absentee manager to leave the front door unlocked when I left the hotel in complete disregard for the safety of the other sleeping guests.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a great, if very basic, hotel. Communications regarding our arrival, and delay due to cancelled ferry, was excellent. The location of the hotel is also perfect and the manager was very helpful.
But, the facilities are basic and the rooms very small. For one night it was fine but I think it would be a problem for a stay any longer. The roof terrace is a bonus for the basic breakfast or a glass of wine (your own) in the evening.
- Angela (10/5): - Loved our stay here even though it was for one night Stefano was so helpful the room was clean the location was perfect and we were given the yummiest breakfast. We will definitely be staying here again when visiting Rhodes
- Brian (10/5): I would stay there again - Great stay, great staff, great location!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Piccola struttura molto accogliente in pieno centro
- Oxana (10/5): Stay in old town if this is your first time to Rho - Excellent location in the center of old town. Amazing views from the roof terrace. Very helpful owner. 10 minute walk to the beach.
- Per Christian (10/5): - Nydelig å rolig plass
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The manager, Stefano, was wonderful. Great hotel, excellent location for the Old Town.
- Sandra (10/5): Charming hotel with a wonderful rooftop view - We enjoyed staying at the Auberge 32.
Everything was great. We enjoyed spending time on the rooftop having breakfast every morning and a drink during sunsets.
The hotel is charmingly tucked away in a labyrinth of cobblestone walkways.
It was very close to some great restaurants and shops. We hope to return someday soon.
- Paul (10/5): An excellent small pension within a quiet area. - Rhodes is amazing! A fully lived in 14th century walled city with a busy new town outside the walls, full of 1930's architectural gems! The Auberge provides clean and well furnished rooms, located within a quiet network of laneways. A delightful breakfast is served in your room or on the lovely roof terrace, which has views across the walled city. Stefano, the owner/manager is extremely helpful and friendly.
- Anthony (8/5): Excellent value and total satisfaction - Personal attention by hotel staff as well as gracious after hours service due to a delayed ferry. Excellent value and total satisfaction.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable Stay at Old Town - Unique place with cool amenities and welcoming atmosphere. Very much appreciated.
- Robert (10/5): Auberge was excellent - Stefano the owner was excellent, the room was beautiful and the views from the rooftop were lovely, well worth spending an evening up there with a glass of wine or two
- Verified traveler (10/5): Old Town Hideaway - Very atmospheric hotel with lovely roof terrace.
- Caroline (10/5): Bijou boutique style hotel - Such an amazing stay, and a wonderful hotel. The day before we arrived Stefano emailed to provide directions, the bus timetable, and his contact details. On arrival we could not believe our luck. We’d booked some months before the hotel opened and it exceeded our expectations. Found down a cobbled alley in the heart of the old city, we were met by Stefano on arrival and made to feel very welcome. He also provided us with information on all the unmissable sites, and the best beaches to ensure we were able to make the most of our time. The rooms are stylish and equips with everything you need for a city break. The roof terrace is a stand out feature, providing a view of the clock tower, and an opportunity to relax and enjoy peaceful moments away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
- Jason (10/5): Brilliant hotel in prime location - Only stayed one night between other places but really wished we’d stayed longer.
Communication with manager was fantastic, really can’t fault him at all.
Location perfect but do bear in mind the hotel is behind the main tourist streets and the cobbled street(s) are not luggage wheel friendly.
Room was amazing, had a brilliant nights sleep, incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast on the balcony was a lovely way to start the day while the medieval clock tower rang out.
Would without question stay again and certainly recommend.
- Penelope (8/5): Central location - Beautifully situated in the old town of Rhodes. Central for everything
- lezovich (4/5): - i arive a person is name was stefano gave me2 keys 1 to my room 1 for the main door 2c pairs of tawwels sinc 27.7 i neve see stefanono parking it is restorant all arund
- David (8/5): Neat and quiet - Our room was upstairs with easy access. Not a large room but comfortable enough and fully airconditioned. Good wifi. As its with-in the old city walls it's easy walking distance to the any of the attractions or that area. Plenty of restaurants, bars and tourist shops. A quaint small hotel with an upstairs terrace area (can be very hot in the peak season). Breakfast was included and was substantial continental style. Drinks are available to be purchased from the owner. Easy to find with google maps along narrow, winding cobble stoned pathways. Wheeled suitcases may have to be carried (but not far).
