- Natalie (7/5): - Our room was very clean and comfortable and the AC worked well. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax. The staff were very kind. Overall good value for money The wifi was very patchy, and at one point didn’t work for a whole day. It was handy being able to use the kitchen, but unfortunately it wasn’t very well equipped (most of the pans were missing handles, barely any cutlery, no chopping boards, only 2 mugs etc). Some of the neighbours played very loud music all night, but I suspect this is a problem all over Taganga at not just at this hotel

- Juan Carlos (10/5): - Dana, la persona en recepción fue muy amable y atenta con nosotros. Tambien la otra señora que estaba encargada de otras cosas y vino a ayudar por un momento fue muy amable. Mia (nuestra), la gatica, hace muy bien el rol de recepcionista también. El hotel es muy cerca de todo pero no hay ruido ni mucha gente. Las arepas de huevo al frente del hotel estaban muy provocativas, no las probamos pero nos quedamos con ganas. Al lado del inicio del camino para Playa Brava y de la playa Nos pareció limpio y ordenado. Este no es un hotel de lujo, pero es agradable y suficiente para el descanso y la comodidad. El rooftop es super agradable y hay una brisa deliciosa. Se puede ver el atardecer ahi. Llegamos antes de la hora del check in y nos dejaron quedar en el rooftop por un rato y nos entregaron el cuarto como 2 horas antes de la hora normal. Super amables. El aire acondicionado funcionaba perfecto en habitación 203 y 204. La carretera por la que los carros llegan al hotel esta malita. La puerta del baño deja pasar luz entonces se ilumina el cuarto muy temprano.

Alles top Alles super, es könnte mehr Besteck und Geschirr zur Verfügung gestellt werden. 10x Messer, Gabel, Löffel, Tassen und Gläser würden ausreichen

El baño es muy bien aseado, en el tercer piso tieen una sala de estar hay mesas nevera para guardar lo que quiras, con una bonita vista al mar, las habitaciones tienen aire, televisor lo que es muy bueno, si buscas ir a recorrer taganga y un lugar solo para dormir de noche esta perfecto. Pedi una habitacion que le entrara poca luz ya que la primera vez que fui no pude dormir mas en la mañana dado que la ventana tiene cortinas por las que entra mucha luz y no deja dormir mas, podrian poner unas cortinas que no dejen entrar tanta luz, igualmente la puerta del baño es de esas puertas de un material que dejan entrar mucha luz y el baño tienen una pequeña ventana por donde entra luz, la luz que refleja la puerta del baño y la de la ventana porque las cortinas dejan pasar mucha luz se hace dificil dormir en la mñana o el dia. recomendacion cambiar las cortinas a unas mas gruesas y la pierta del baño que deja entrar mucha luz, areglan eso y mejora mucho mas el lugar.

- John (10/5): We had a good time with my family. - The staff is very friendly. Very close to the beach and restaurants, I also loved the rooftop. It was definitely worth the price. The road to get to the property needs maintenance.
- Fabienne (9/5): Great place for great value - It‘s located right by the beach and everything is in walking distance. It‘s a little more quiet than other areas with only a dirt road outside and felt safe to walk home even in the evening (I wasn‘t out late at night). The staff was very kind and helpful (be mindful to bring cash to pay your stay with unless you have any of the apps they suggest). The common areas offer a beautiful view and the opportunity to relax and cook, there weren‘t many people there at the times I went. My single person bedroom was clean and comfortable. It was a little dark in my room and at times there were loud noises at night (I‘m guessing ACs and showers, bring some ear plugs), but all in all I slept well.

Lack of professionalism and respect! - The hotel is located close to Taganga beach, so the location is more or less convenient, even though the street can get scetchy and probably unsafe during the night. .The view from their terrace is very nice while getting breakfast. We were extremely disappointed with the attitude and lack of professionalism of the staff and management at the hotel. They charged us 100,000 COP, which equals $25 USD, for washing our clothes. Such exorbitant prices for laundry services are unreasonable, even by international standards. Moreover, they provided us with false information regarding transportation to Tayrona Park by boat. We intended to visit Tayrona for one day and return the following morning to catch a bus to Cartagena. They informed us that the boat would depart at 12 pm and return at 10 am (both times were incorrect). This misinformation led us to bring only the bare minimum of clothes to Tayrona. Consequently, the next day, we had to walk for 2 hours in Tayrona and take two buses to return to their hotel in Taganga in time. Despite promising to reimburse us for the lost boat trip back to Taganga (equivalent to $50 USD for both persons), they failed to make the bank transfer. Essentially, they withheld our money, and despite numerous attempts to contact them, they did not respond. When they finally replied, they claimed it was our responsibility to reclaim the money from the boat company. The room was not clean; there was dried toothpaste all over the sink, and instead of a showerhead, there was a single tube emitting cold water. Additionally, during the weekend, the noise from nearby clubs and bars was excessive. In summary, while I understand that Colombia faces challenges such as poverty and infrastructure issues, the aforementioned complaints have nothing to do with high standards. It is entirely reasonable to expect a hotel to: 1) charge fair prices for basic services, 2) provide accurate and reliable information, and 3) maintain a clean and sanitary environment. "

They let us keep our luggage at the hotel for a few days, we were late a day and they did not mind. Very safe, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great on the rooftop terrace and Mia the cat was very kind and lovely. Definitely recommend staying here while in Tanganga

On our first night we had a room facing the street which was incredibly loud & they were able to move us the next day. Breakfast is tasty. Value for money is good & rooms are clean. Although the location is super close to the beach, this meant we heard super loud music from down the street up to midnight. Not at the fault of the hotel; but as it was unbelievably windy when we were in Taganga it was impossible to spend time on the roof without being blown away. Can’t fully recommend Taganga as a whole, but if you’re keen on it this is a decent option.

- Sabina (9/5): Good price for a private room - The accommodation is fairly priced. There’s a kitchen and fridge to keep/prepare your own food. I also liked relaxing in the hammocks in the large terrace area. The staff team are friendly and welcoming. Plus, I loved the sassy tortoiseshell cat in the lobby! The window in my room looked out onto a wall, which made the room a bit dark and stuffy. It would also be good to have some bowls in the kitchen for cereal, etc.
