• Richard (10/5): First Rate comfort and quiet - Everything about the property and services are First Rate, from the furniture, fixtures, decorating, property, and bedding to the pleasant surroundings, delicious snacks, and custom-made breakfast in the morning.
• Cheri (10/5): Saratogas #1 Place to Stay!! - This was like staying at an Airbnb but with staff! It was our first time staying in a B&B and WOW what a wonderful experience! Lindsay greeted us as soon as we pulled up and gave us a tour of the house and our room key. The house was so cozy and clean, the homemade breakfast that Lindsay makes and Lisa (her sister) serves is out of this world! Fresh baked gluten free scones and muffins from a local bakery and Lisa’s freshly gathered morning of eggs were the icing on the cake! Those were just a small part of the fabulous breakfast Lindsay (who is a chef) prepares! I expressed interest in the family and home history and this morning I was greeted with a folder of historical pictures, letters and deeds. So cool! We will certainly be back to this quaint hidden gem!! This trumps a hotel or airbnb any day!!

• Patricia (10/5): - beautiful country side residence, away from the hectic city, but close enough to grab dinner etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable, beautiful decorated. The breakfast was truly gourmet, fresh fruit, fresh baked goods, eggs and other special on the weekend. The owner Linsay, was amazing, warm and welcoming, and very accomidating . highly recommend .

We had the ground floor Ivory room. Lovely. Enjoyed the gas fireplace . Breakfast was delicious . Every morning there were different options.

We enjoyed the morning conversations with other couples at breakfast. The home is spotless & the grounds, distant mountains & gardens are breathtaking! Very close to the town of Saratoga Springs. We also drove 2 minutes to the Saratoga Battlefield which is free and interesting. We would love to stay again! We were spoiled.

Formerly owned by an architect, it is in tip top shape and very clean. All the rooms are very nice and we had access to the porch, two dining areas, kitchen and living area as well as our bedroom. The gardens were in bloom and so nice to look at and experience. The owner is a chef and the breakfasts were fresh and fabulous! This B&B is in a good location. We went to SPAC, downtown Saratoga, restaurants and more. We loved our stay and will be returning.

• RobL (10/5): - We stayed in the Green Room for two nights. We wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly maintained. Everything--paint, wood work, furniture, bathroom fixtures--seems new. The hosts are friendly and gracious, and they've provided every comfort and convenience, including snacks, drinks, and a small kitchen with refrigerator and microwave for guests. The breakfast was delicious. We especially enjoyed sitting outside (there are three seating areas on the porch, including a swing seat for two, plus adirondack chairs on the lawn) because it is so quiet with a beautiful view of the countryside. As they say, it's 10-12 minutes to Saratoga Springs, and it's only about two minutes to the Saratoga Battlefield National Historical Park.

Beautiful garden and views. Wonderful full breakfast with home baked muffins. Two minutes from Saratoga battlefield, a must for anyone who values the American Revolution battle that turned the tide to make the U.S.A.possble. Fascinating. Well appointed exceptionally clean rooms fastidiously maintained with all amenities. Gas fireplaces. Common areas very pleasant. Helpful hostess Jo Ann.

• Gerald (10/5): Made in the Maple Shade...!!! - The Maple Shade was a charming B&B nestled in the rolling hills of Stillwater, NY. We loved the countryside of rolling hills of corn fields, cow farms and horse farms. The Maple Shade B&B bedrooms were well appointed and charming, all with private baths. The morning breakfast was out standing with juice, fresh fruit medley accompanied by egg omelets or pancakes and of course bacon or sausage sides, with home fries...!! And can’t forget the hot homemade muffins every morning. We went to upstate New York to go to the track at Saratoga Springs and it was a a treat to get of the city into the countryside. Even though it was a 15-20 minute drive the GPS took pass Saratoga Lake and beautiful countryside. When go there again, I will sure to stay at the Maple Shade.

• Mary Ellen (10/5): Maple Shade is heavenly - Sitting on the front porch at Maple Shade in a rocking chair looking at the beautiful scenery and listening to the sounds of nature is a truly wonderful experience. The room was comfortable and spacious, the breakfasts were hearty and delicious and both staff and other guests were a joy to be with. It is just a short, scenic drive to Saratoga Race Course. We previously stayed in Saratoga Springs, but chose this gem in Stillwater this time and are so glad we did.
