• alain (10/5): Bien mieux qu'esperé - On s'attendait pas à trouver un hôtel comme celui-ci dans un quartier résidentiel. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, nos vélos ont dormi à l'abri. La chambre était propre et confortable. Le restaurant était ouvert le dimanche soir. Le petit déjeuner était généreux.

• Hope (5/5): Overall positive. - Clean, efficient, great service. Overall very good. Really loud in the morning. Whether that is people directly in the corridor or in rooms above or next to, from 6am onwards the level of noise was just really poor.

Camere pulite e accoglienti, ideali per un soggiorno confortevole. Rapporto qualità-prezzo: Decisamente ottimo per i servizi offerti e per la zona. La presenza della moquette in camera non è di mio gradimento e peccato per la mancanza dell'asciugacapelli fisso in bagno, anche se il problema è stato risolto subito dallo staff.

We asked questions about the best way to get to Edinburgh when we were checking in to be told oh just google it ,not very helpful. Breakfast was very disappointing sausages were under cooked and I could not eat them and breakfast was not piping hot when it was brought to the table.

• Sam (5/5): A nice cheap alternative to staying in Edinburgh city center, however do not expect any luxuries of a modern hotel. Ever - Free parking was great. Curtains in the room didn’t really block light in the morning, water pressure was very low, showers do not get that hot, noise levels really travel into the rooms from the hallway and other guests, breakfast options are very slim, and on our experience the milk had gone off on the tea/coffee station. Nothing really around the location apart from a petrol garage

• Michael (3/5): Ungewöhnlich frühe Frühstückszeit und fehlende Gastfreundschaft - Titel: Bewertungstext: Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut und grundsätzlich eignet sie sich als Ausgangspunkt für einen Aufenthalt in der Nähe von Edinburgh und der Forth Bridge und eine weiterfahrt in die Highlands. Die Frühstückssituation war jedoch enttäuschend. Frühstück wurde nur bis 9:00 Uhr angeboten – eine ungewöhnlich frühe Zeit im internationalen Vergleich. Ich war wenige Minuten vor 9:00 Uhr vor Ort, dennoch wurde mir kein Frühstück mehr angeboten. Was besonders negativ auffiel, war die vollständige Abwesenheit von Flexibilität oder Gastfreundschaft. Es gab keinerlei Versuch, eine einfache Lösung anzubieten (z. B. einen kleinen Teller oder eine reduzierte Auswahl), obwohl dies mit minimalem Aufwand möglich gewesen wäre. Ich reise viel und habe weltweit in zahlreichen Hotels übernachtet – ein derart starres und unentgegenkommendes Verhalten habe ich so noch nicht erlebt. Für mich widerspricht das grundlegenden Prinzipien von Gastfreundschaft. Insgesamt hinterlässt dies einen unnötig negativen Eindruck, unabhängig von den sonst positiven Aspekten der Unterkunft.

• David (9/5): Handy stop-over - The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable, as were the facilities. Only the view from the window onto the external rear of the hotel but, as it was mainly night-time, this wasn't much of an issue.

• AniBau (7/5): Für den Preis auf jeden Fall in Ordnung - Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend ohne viel Verkehr oder Lärm. Die Lage war für uns sehr gut, da wir am nächsten Tag weiter in Richtung Aberdeen gefahren sind. Die Zimmer waren ok. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr ganz neu und muss sicherlich nach und nach etwas renoviert werden. Da unsere Zimmer im Erdgeschoss direkt nach dem Eingang waren, war es nachts leider etwas lauter, da die anderen Gäste an unseren Türen vorbei mussten. Frühstück war ok, könnte evtl. mehr Auswahl sein. Alles in allem war es für uns absolut ausreichend. Preis-Leistung völlig in Ordnung. Die Teppiche müssten mal getauscht bzw. durch glatte Böden ersetzt werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte etwas ansprechender gestaltet werden. Auch mit etwas mehr Auswahl für diejenigen, die kein warmes Frühstück möchten. Der Kaffee war leider sehr bitter - aber in Großbritannien trinkt man einfach am besten TEE :-). Wann man einen leichten Schlaf hat, dann nicht die Zimmer im EG im vorderen Teil nehmen, da hier alle vorbei müssen.

• Caitlin Taleah (7/5): Clean, cheap and comfortable but NOT NEAR EDINBURGH CBD - Very cheap stay and not too far for young people to get to and from Edinburgh via train or bus. However, too far to walk. Quiet residential area. Hotel was clean and the room was serviced every day. There was a bit of a smell of cigarette in the hallway which was unpleasant but luckily wasn’t in our room. I see a lot of negatives regarding water pressure in the shower. We didn’t have any issue with the water pressure in the room we stayed. Our stay included breakfast but we actually didn’t have it any of the days we stayed due to early tours/wanting to sleep in etc., Hotel was close to airport as well which was handy. Not easy to get to Edinburgh. Infrequent buses which require bookings and minimal shops/things to do around Rosyth since it’s mostly residential living. Bolt also doesn’t pick up from the hotel and uber is only on demand (so when we tried we waited 10mins and still didn’t get one).

• Bartbruggeman (8/5): Zeker goed om een nachtje door te brengen. - De kamers waren proper opgemaakt, de badkamer was prima. Lekker warm water in de douche. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar goed. De afstand naar het centrum was goed te doen met openbaar vervoer (best wel duur). Als doorsteekhotel was het prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding. Je kan voor die prijs geen Hilton verwachten. De kamer rook niet fris bij aankomst. We hebben de hele tijd een raam open gezet en nadien was het wel wat beter. De bediening bij het ontbijt kon iets vriendelijker.

Staff wasn't friendly or welcoming, had issue with window not closing correctly. Informed staff on day 1 and was told a manager would be informed and then we heard nothing since from them to rectify the issue. Bed was uncomfortable and very noisy. Pillows was either too high or too low. Floor was very creeky. Breakfast couldn't fill a child. Could also hear other rooms talking. Extremely thin walls. No staff on front counter, so anyone could just walk in. Very dull experience. Would not recommend

Faltavam itens básicos como iogurtes, pão variado, queijo e fiambre, e as bebidas resumiam-se a chá preto e café, sem máquina de café ou leite. Como ponto positivo, preparavam ovos na hora (mexidos com bacon ou estrelados), mediante pedido, e havia leite em jarro e pequenos pacotes de cereais.
