Guest Reviews
- Mary (10/5): - Our key to this charming little house was waiting for us with a note from the manager. We had two very comfortable queen beds. Excellent amenities with tv and ceiling fan and nicely decorated bathroom! We used the kitchen, fridge, microwave, and shower. All was in working order and very clean! Our favorite thing was the star gazing! We saw the Milky Way very clearly overhead!
- Robert (10/5): - Great location near Bryce & Kodachrome. Great dark sky.
There were some dirty/stained bath towels & property could use some minor repairs/carpet cleaning.
- Julie (10/5): - Such a cute tiny home. King size bed, spacious bathroom, outdoor area. Clean, quiet and cozy!
- Sarah (10/5): - A lovely property with a super comfy bed! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
- Francesca (8/5): Feels homie - Feels very homie. Clean and quiet place. Nice view. Just a little challenge to find it coz there’s no signs of the place and the gps took us to cemetery =/
- Bethany (8/5): - This place was so nice and very quiet. We enjoyed the outside seating at sunset. It is not a bad drive to Bryce Canyon from there. I could tell the place is new. It needs to be dusted pretty badly, but otherwise clean. I had to make my best guess on connecting to the Wi-Fi and what to do for check out, so more info would be nice.
- Vitor Luiz (10/5): - All brand new. Really recommend it.
- Tim (10/5): - The location is a little odd - a collection of small cabins plopped down in the middle of a large open area not really near any other amenities. The cabins themselves are nice and well-maintained - up to date, functional, and clean.
- Chad (4/5): - Beautiful location.
Accommodations not clean for the price.
Common areas for grilling and relaxing unsatisfactory.
Need to be more specific in description about accommodations.
- Peter (10/5): - Quite and off the beaten path. Great views from the porch. Cabins are spaced out far enough to be private.
Only complaint is no where to bring trash and only two very small trash cans in the cabin. They did not pick up trash until checkout.
- Andrew (8/5): - Overall it was an excellent place to stay and I would stay here again. Only problem I had was that there were spider webs and spiders inside. A little pest control would go a long way.
- Robert (10/5): - Very clean, comfy beds and very quiet. Close to Kodachrome state park.
- Lyneen (10/5): - Nice place very clean. WiFi a little slow. About 20 minutes from Bryce canyon national park
- David (10/5): - This was exactly what I was looking for. Secluded and quiet yet comfortable. This is how I camp.
- Allison (6/5): Def take note of an actual guest before booking! - Hotel was a very cute little place once we found it. Mostly clean, but we found 8ish spiders in our room during the 2 nights.
Also, the address listed, the GPS does NOT take you there. We wasted an hour of our precious daylight on vacation driving around aimlessly looking for this hotel. Other guests have noted this, but for some reason, they won’t list coordinates or directions to make it easier for guests to find. My tip. Once GPS says “arrived”, do not turn, keep going straight another 2-3 mins and stare at the pics online so you know what you're looking for because there is no sort of sign either.
Also note, the 1 phone number listed, you will NOT get ahold of that guy. I called approx. 30 times various times of day prior to visiting no response and no email listed. Also no one works at “office” they just tape your keys to the door.
1 more thing, they have “free wifi” advertised. There is absolutely no wifi set up. If you want to make a call or look anything up for your trip, drive 5 mins down the road. Its remote, so you can pull over and do your phone necessities, but do not expect to do any research or planning while in the room. Once you find the hotel, they list 1 additional phone number on the door and that guy answered my call thankfully because we had plumbing issues.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property will come up as available in Kanab, Utah on Expedia and other sites. IT IS NOT IN KANAB! It is 86 miles away in Cannonville, Utah. We tried to call repeatedly to determine how to locate the establishment since it was late (after 11 p.m.) and no one answered with a full voicemail. We put the address into our "Maps" and it led down a series of very rough roads off of Johnson Canyon Road. We never did find the location and eventually just headed home, sleeping on the side of the road for rest. No response from owner about refund or other resolution other than to note that it is in fact not in Kanab. False advertising at its worst.
- Jamie (4/5): Moved Reservation Without Warning - The place wasn’t even open. We got there (took a while to find since it wasn’t even at the address posted online) to find dump trucks and pipes and garbage everywhere. A sign on the door said that they moved any reservations made to a different hotel. We didn’t have service so we had to drive to get service to find the new hotel. The new hotel was fine, but not what we were planning on. It was definitely more ghetto. I double checked my email to make sure I didn’t miss anything saying they moved our reservation and I didn’t have anything. They finally emailed me the night we were supposed to stay at 9:00 telling us they moved our reservation, but by then we had already been checked in for several hours. Pretty annoying.
- Virginia (2/5): Cabins Are Still Under Construction - These cabins were still under construction when we arrived and were not even close to being habitable! All other hotel rooms within a hundred mile radius were sold out. We were extremely upset!! Neither the cabin owners nor hotels.com contacted us about this. Once these cabins are actually complete, please be warned about the directions that Google Maps provides to drive there. You will need to pass the dirt road that the navigation system tells you to turn at and drive another few hundred feet and you will arrive at the cabins. Do NOT turn at the dirt road. It becomes a narrow, steep and winding road around the side of a very high hill that requires a four wheel drive vehicle to negotiate (as a sign warns, but only after you are 80% up the hill) and there is no way to turn around on what turns into a one-lane road. If you are in a rental vehicle (like us), you will need to slowly and dangerously back down this road until you reach a place about a quarter of the way up that you can carefully turn around on.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Promise Rock-HolmTown Not Ready - The morning of our reservation I received a message from the property saying the property wasn't yet ready. They list the property knowing they haven't completed it. Not a very professional way to do business. Waiting until the morning of the day is unacceptable. To their credit, they own another property and offered us a room there. It added 50 miles to our trip, but considering most motels around Bryce National Park were booked, we accepted. The property was nice, newly rehabbed, but didn't include a kitchen. They apologized for the inconvenience. Rehab work schedules can and do have delays, but the very late notification was unacceptable.
