• Cory (2/5): - Be very cautious when booking with Global Stays, we were four adults that had originally booked a 2 bedroom Queen and Double Beds wit a single and a Pull out sofa, our booked location was moved to a different building and it only had a Queen, single and a Sofa bed. With No Privacy. Communication was literally Brutal with this Company and a lot of false statements on the Expedia Listing. They were very defensive when challenged, and a Little on the ignorant side for someone that should be providing Customer Service. We we went into the room the dryer was running and Dishwasher was full of dishes, when asked if room service was coming back we were told that we could put everything away. The only thing the room had going for it was a decent View. I book often with Expedia and have always had a Great experience but Caution you on Global Stay bookings. This definitely left us with a Disappointing Trip to Toronto.
• Henry (6/5): - Deceptive proprrty description: * 2nd "bedroom" is a bed in the alcove in the living room separated by curtains that do not close all the way. * Picture of the gym in the listong but gym is NOT accessible to renter <28 days Liked; * great location, next to market, walkable to major sites * large apartment, AC works well * decent kitchen * great to have washer and dryer in the room * quiet Cons: * several maintenance issues; fridge and microwave lights were out * fridge was NOT cold when we arrived, had to turn up to max for it to work just adequately * couch and beds uncomfortable * No information on how to access WiFi (no password given) * No info about how to check out (where to leave the keys) * quite expensive for all the shortcomings
• ELESHA MEGIN (10/5): - The overall experience and stay was exceptional. I would definitely stay at global stay on my next visit. I love the uniqueness of the fob for the operation of the elevator.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - The management team was horrible with miscommunication on booking a unit, cleanliness of the sofa in my unit. They inconsiderably called me in the midnight to ask for showing next day as the unit was on the market. And they gave me a unit with a shattered glass door in the bedroom so I had to call them to replace it. They were 4 hours late ruining my whole day and the manager never called or showed up for apology. It turned out their manager is in Russia hardly reachable, communicating only in text when necessary in her idea. I strongly do not recommend any accommodations with Simply Comfort Suites in Toronto.

I love staying with them, they always squeeze my and my boyfriend in for any last minute trips downtown, and I've only ever had minor issues which they're always so quick to fix. Definitely our #1 pick when were looking for somewhere to stay.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - This place is very good, the location is very convenient, many transport options, modern place with all the necessary things, the host company has many channels to communicate and they are very friendly. The doormans are not nice at all, they don´t like the short term guests they barely answer when you ask them about anything. The parking is a labyrinth but the host tries to guide you with a document and on the phone.

• Alyssa (8/5): - Great location in downtown Toronto. Keep in mind, this is a private residential building so no front desk, check in is done through an instruction package sent via email. So be ready for that!

• Dawn (8/5): - En-suite bath sink drained very slowly, smoke detector battery weak so beeped the whole time we were ther, tried to get late check out time and there was no response, from property contact. Were told we could not use gym. I property does not really have a nice size main room, for 5 travelers,especially speepersofa is to be used. And front desk help was rude.

I was exhausted & not in the best mood from the drive/cancellation. Once we got in the apartment, it made us feel like everything will be ok. We were on the 40th floor, the balcony had an amazing view of the city. The apartment was very clean, the concierge were very helpful & friendly, the host were excellent. Communication was great. 5 stars all around. The location was within 5 minutes of everything, CN tower, Baseball stadium, lake, etc We’ll definitely stay here whenever we’re in Toronto, worse part of the trip was leaving.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Our stay - The apartment was very nice and so was the location. The only problem was with the instructions to get the keys. I followed them but the elevator would not accept going to my floor. Fortunately, the security guide helped us and the rest was fine.
• Will (10/5): - Good property at a reasonable price. Bed was pretty small for me and my partner. Key FOB was a little tricky to figure out, but otherwise everything went swimmingly. Grocery store near by open until midnight. Good communication, I had some questions and got responses immediately. I would stay here again.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The condo is in an excellent location for getting around downtown Toronto on foot. Also less than 1/2 hour walk to Union Station. The apartment is well laid out and tastefully decorated. The bed is very comfortable and the views are spectacular. (There is another full bed that we did not use - so cannot comment on the comfort). The kitchen had everything we needed for a short visit.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The location downtown was great and made all our destinations walkable. the unit was well equipped and clean. The check in check out was simple and the parking very convenient. Price was perfect! The only issues we had was that better pillows be provided, the bed was just acceptable and you need better black out curtains as the ambient light level from outside keep the unit to bright during the night. I will definitely go back but with my own pillows.

Beds were comfy and everything was provided by building management... even q tips and laundry soap!! Only downsides were related to common areas in building and not much to do with room - e.g loud fans left in hallway to dry walls, limited on site parking and fire alarm one night - again, room was great and minor annoyances related to common areas.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The property definitely shows signs of aging. It was clean overall, though, and the staff was very quick to address problems. The location was great. If there's a fire in the building while you're there don't bother walking up thr stairs when the all clear is given because most floors are locked and you won't have a key to get in the hall. Just wait the extra 30 minutes for the elevators to reset. Unless you're on 2, 8, 15, 20, 26 or 30.

• Corey (6/5): Ok Place - This was in a good location. Close to everything we wanted to do. The bedding was not clean upon arrival and the bed itself was horrible. I ended up with severe back problems towards the end of my trip. The coffee pot also has a hole in it and I couldn't get anyone from customer service to answer me to get a new one. The cable was also not working for the TV.

• Alberto (6/5): - The staff is good and they replied to my questions but there are things they really need to improve. First they did not confirm there was not parking available until one day before the check in, this could have been better. Second, there was an old cooked piece of chicken in the oven. Not sure for how long it was there but it was really disappointing as we were planning to cook. There is only one wine glass, maybe somebody took the other ones? We had to look for the bath and hand towels as they were not in the washroom. We finally found them in the dryer, not a big problem but this is not the service expected. There were other things in the dryer too. The room was clean and that is the only reason I have not given a complete disappointing mark here ... with such a beautiful and nicely located property I'd recommend to pay attention to these details to make it perfect. First time this happens with a Simple Comfort property. Thanks.

We wasted around 2 hrs driving in downtown looking for parking and we risked parking our car in a ticket zone. We drove 9 hours to find ourselves without any help to book the parking spot. We were directed to visitors parking but everything was taken since it was a Labor Day weekend. Some of the lights inside the apartment did not work. Overall it was a bad experience.

Queen bed in on bedroom, twin bed with curtain right off the bathroom. Pullout sofa bed that was not comfortabe to sleep on or even sit on. A LOT of instructions on how to get into apt and parking. Instructions were helpful but still very difficult to get around buildings and parking garage.

• William (8/5): Great location & sunset view, but dusty outside - The positives are the location, cleanliness, and comfortability. The location is great for walking to see the city sights or taking the streetcar. The rental view is well above the ground and sunsets are beautiful from both the living room, bedroom, and balcony. Since it is a vacation rental, it makes you feel at home, especially with cooking and laundry. It is very clean. The negatives are parking and construction dust. For us, parking at the facility was not available so we had to park several blocks away. But mainly, there is a great deal of construction ongoing in the area and even being so high up above the ground does not insulate you from the dust and the noise. I know that it's outside the control of the owner, but you have to be aware of it if you have issues with outside dust.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location downtown and a few minutes walk to CN Tower. Apt is new, clean, well kept, highly secured building. Price was good compared to hotels in the same neighborhood. I would recommend this place to anyone.
• Janette (4/5): - I only booked this property because I thought it was a hotel with 15$ parking. Turns out it's someone running Airbnbs calling themselves a hotel company.... also the 15$ parking wasn't available and was suggested to park 5 city blocks away from the condo to pay 20$ to park. I suppose it was Expedias fault for not filtering it out when I put the hotel filter on for them getting a negative review. Lastly it's not 125$ a night actually 200$ with fees, I honestly can't stand a company not being upfront with their prices and adding on whatever at the check out.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The view was amazing!! The property itself was clean and was big enough for the amount of people we had (5). It was a bit confusing to actually find the correct building and get to my room.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - The property was very disappointing. The carpeting in both bedrooms was filthy. Stains everywhere, I mean everywhere. You could tell the place was not vacuumed either. Dark hair all over the area rug, floors etc. Found wet towels in the dryer. Smoke detector was chirping, AC not working in master bedroom. . Notified property mgmt about all of this. At first they questioned my comments about the cleanliness until I sent them photos. The next day someone came to vacuum and then someone just walked into the condo without even identifying who he was. We told him about the smoke detector and showed him how we had to remove it to stop the constant chirping but he did nothing to fix it, change battery etc. He saw the disgusting carpeting and offered to steam clean them but then that would leave me with a wet rug during my stay and I wouldn’t be able to sleep/use that room. I would never go back or use this company or their services again. Would rather stay with the quality hotel chains I normally use.

That afternoon, I called Irene and learned that she was a man at a remote work cite. Don’t believe the pics, there’s no balcony, and place’s age is showing.

It is within walking distance to the CN Tower, the aquarium, the stadium, etc. right next door to a lovely park with plenty of places to eat. The apartment itself had beautiful views of the city and lake, AND with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it’s a no brainer! Great accommodations for a very reasonable price - we opted to use their parking as well. Very convenient!

• Annij (8/5): - Overall our stay was wonderful. We even had an issue where we needed to extend our stay for a few extra days amd they accomodated us. The place was clean and well equipped. The only small issues were that the key wasn't in the room when we first got there, it took them a bit of time to get the sticky lock fixed and they couldn't find the tv remote we never used when we booked out.

It was a very secure building in an area that seemed quite safe to walk in. The bed was comfortable but the couch was less comfortable. It would be ok for smaller children, but was too small for an adult. The bathroom door hinges were loose and the door was sagging, if I had a screwdriver I could have fixed it but I didn't bring one. The amenities were much better than expected with a lot of items provided and the quality of the towels was excellent. Overall I found the price was high but for Toronto at that time it was OK.

• Abraham (4/5): - A/C was not working . Room was at 26 degrees . Texted and called the number . I advised that I will be leaving and coming back at night . They sent someone to look at it and advised nothing could be done until morning . Checking out in morning so that won’t do me any good . I understand that sometimes things go beyond their abilities. But they basically stated room is non refundable and that manager will call but it won’t help with a refund . So pretty much it is buyer beware and on their own regardless of situation.
