Guest Reviews
- LeAnn (2/5): - SCAM! Everything in the description is a lie. It’s someone’s house and the family lives there. Their adult son sleeps in his underwear on a couch while the parents is locked in a room right next to yours. They demanded extra cash as a cleaning deposit which breaks Expedia rules. They went through my room while I was gone. They demanded more money while I was there and made me and my 2 boys switch to a single bed room unless I paid. Complete scam. Positive reviews are written by them; they use their own names in some and the language is all the same. You have to pay to use laundry or anything downstairs or outside your room. I left because the woman scared my boys by yelling at them and freaked me out!! I got my money back because I was able to prove my claims to Expedia. Avoid at all costs!
- Hal (2/5): - ABSOLUTE RIPOFF / DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
- Josh L (2/5): - I showed up, and they didn’t answer their phone.
I cancelled the payment and got another hotel.
- Dessie (2/5): - This is falsely advertised as a hotel. It is actually someone’s house. They also have a large dog which I am allergic to dogs so this wouldn’t have worked for me. The lady that runs the place seems as if she’s hiding something. When I arrived she quickly closed the door and led me to a chair on the patio as if I am unable to see inside.
- James D (6/5): - I got a call from the owner prior to my arrival about making sure I brought an extra $299 for a maintenance and clearing fee. I went back and checked, and sure enough, it is mentioned in the Expedia booking. That is on me and anyone who does not read the fine print.
However, the property itself is misleading... based on the advertisement, you think it is a guest house with private amenities. It is a single room and other people are staying there too.
The lady at the door was very friendly the whole weekend. She even made me coffee. However, there was a shirtless guy who sat on top of the stairs day and night. I do not think he left. I tried talking to him, but he ignored me. He seemed harmless enough. I felt like he slept in the room when it wasn't booked.
The neighborhood seemed safe, and even my Uber drivers mentioned it was not a bad area when I asked about it. The room seemed clean. The temperature was a little toasty but not unbearable. There were dogs barking during the night, but I have two dogs of my own and it did not bother me.
Overall 3/5 stay. Would honestly stay again if it wasn't for the 299 maintenance and cleaning fee. WOULD NOT BOOK IF I HAD A FAMILY.
- Karen (10/5): - STRESS-FREE STAY! No lengthy walk to the parking lot; no long lines checking in, no smoke & congestion & noise. Just peaceful & tranquil and easy. The virtual checking process was the best. Thank you for a great stay!
- Ruthie (10/5): - Thank you for the old fashioned hospitality; just like home. We really appreciated all the amenities & the convenience of the washer & dryer.
- Karen (10/5): - Location, Location, Location yes, a great location to be near entertainment, shopping, restaurants & of course gaming. Our trip was very enjoyable & easy thanks to the great location.
- Mary Jane (10/5): - This was the best place that I have ever been in Las Vegas. The parking was exceptionally easy & the convenience of having a frig & microwave was priceless. Thank you so much for all the conveniences.
- Phil (10/5): - LIFE SAVER!!!
The pricing in Las Vegas is outrageous! We couldn’t find a place for under $100 a night. Luckily, we came across this little gem for a fraction of the price. Well with the price for all the additional amenities.
- Richard (10/5): - Very easy access to restaurants, shopping & entertainment.
- Richard (10/5): - Peaceful & quiet with a great view.
- Phil (10/5): - Most Excellent Stay!
- Savanna (10/5): - All the comforts of home. We highly recommend.
- Cassio (2/5): - this is a shared house, it is very uncomfortable. to add to the awarkdness of the setup, there was guy that looked like he was homeless and he stayed on the stairs entry area. theres only 2 bathroom that is shared with the other 3 room. horrible setup, i would not recommend it unless you dont mind feeling awkward and uncomfortable for a a night or two.
- Brandon (2/5): - I’m a college student. I booked a room through expedia, for $430. 45 minutes later this hotel calls me saying I will need to pay an additional $600! I’ve been left homeless and struggling to get to school; they refuse to pay me my money back. SO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS OR THEIR FAMILIES! They clearly don’t care about anyone else’s 📝📬
LEFT ME HOMELESS!!! www.artbp13.com
- Yong (2/5): - This is not a hotel, but a house. no receptionist and poor and rude service. Even you cancel the order, you are still get charged. Do not book this place.
- Marty (10/5): - Nice place, easy parking & stores & restaurants were close.
- Richard (10/5): - Incredible deal!
- JUNGHO (2/5): - This is a terrible property because the temperature was not steady so I had to send text messages every night I come back from outside.
And no reply or late were there sometimes so I had to be very cold or sometimes very hot every night.
The normal setting was only done in one last night.
On the other hand, a man was always staying and sleeping in the living room just out of my room without any hello so I had to be surprised whenever I come and go out of my room.
I had to use the bathroom commonly so I had to wait even in the midnight..
Mostly the owner looks like surveillancing me if I would make something wrong..whenever I goto kichen for getting portable water.
On the way to Las Vegas downtown, there were factories making dusty.
Finally I had to pay USD500 additionally before I checked in, for cleaning fee just by cash which actually caused me to stay another hotel room because I had not enough cash and couldn't get it at 3 o'clock in the morning.
She didn't even open the door before I agreed to pay 500 buck cash at midnight which I didn't know after the reservation.
If she needed to charge additional, she should have noticed before like resort fee.
So I should had a hard and terrible time of that night. Same to expedia that the staff just told me he would ask waver and then finally they had no answer about this matter.
They just sent me email they would find another hotel to change but it was not be done because I didn't want to spend more money on that.Disappointing
- George Samuel Hamontree (4/5): - The property is a local house that rents out rooms to different people. The website and Expedia stated that a one time $99 cleaning fee was due to the owner in cash upon arrival. The homeowner upped the charge to $ 149 on arrival because she considered 3 days an extended stay. On a positive note, The bed was comfortable.
- Richard (10/5): - Perfect location and very convenient for shopping, restaurants & access to events with little traffic.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Don't stay at this house, read bottom of review - I received the wrong room, I booked the single bed but got the bunkbed instead. There is at least 3 people that live in the house. One male sleeps on the couch outside of the bedrooms. There is also a doberman pincher that is in the house, it is friendly though. The gym isnt available since its in the garage and acar is parked in there along with the dog and another set of bunk beds. The temps were in the 90s and the a/c wasn't working in my room. Also, SOMEONE ENTERED MY ROOM WHILE I WAS OUT!!
- Maureen (10/5): - Very Easy travel from the airport, no traffic & parking was simple.
- John (10/5): - In town for a destination wedding. This was the best Choice for the family, close to all of the sites we wanted to see & parking was an snap.
- Alice (10/5): - Very economical & clean & close to everything I needed.
- Richard (10/5): - LIFE SAVER!
- John (10/5): - Close & convenient to all of my functions. Easy parking.
- Josh (10/5): - Nice trip with family. Very clean & conveniently located.
- Phill (10/5): - We visit family In Vegas & wanted a quiet family friendly atmosphere. Great choice!
- Michael (2/5): - the lady on the phone said we were rude and said she wanted us to cancel the reservation when we were asking for her name. never got a chance to see the inside of the place. no knowledge about the amenities. outside area looked nice. it was faraway from everything. It was a house
- Dorothy (10/5): - Perfect weekend getaway! The best deal in town; warm, cozy & comfy.
- Juan luis (2/5): - They worked with lights off , they stole our money because we payed but we didn’t stay there , they must reimburse our money, terrible .
- AJ (10/5): - Last minute reservation; top notch hospitality. We we’re running late & by the time we arrived in Las Vegas; it was very late. We were treated like Royalty even though it was well past midnight. Thank you!!!
- Brandon (10/5): - Super Convenient location. We
Had a keyless entry & virtual check in & late checkout. The premises was immaculate. What more is there?!
- Charles (10/5): - CLEAN, CONVENIENT, COMFORTABLE
- Mac (10/5): - LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the perfect little bungalow.
- Teddy (10/5): - Convenient little bungalow.
- Maureen (10/5): - Incredible Deal! The location was amazing. We were close to everything & parking was a snap.
- Kyle (2/5): - Room was hot 1 towel no wash cloths or mats, bed bad
- Karen (10/5): - Supreme Hospitality!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible! - Total scam not as advertised, house was 100f inside would have taken all night to cool it down I didn’t stay there it was way to uncomfortable and the owner wouldn’t tell me how many people were living in the house you just rent one room I didn’t know until I got there. She freaked out on me because I parked on the driveway and when I parked where she said to there was fresh broken car window glass from the last person who parked there must have been broken into. Total disaster
- Ruthie (10/5): - What a unique experience! The host was very generous in giving us a late checkout & early check in because we didn’t have the best flight times. Very quiet & peaceful.
- Mike (10/5): - Excellent location & price!
- Jessica (4/5): - This is someone house if I wanted an Airbnb I would of went and got it. 2nd she made me leave out the house at midnight to get a cash deposit for cleaning fee. The bathroom has nothing in it but tissue and broken chipped wooden bathroom seat. The bedroom is nothing that was displayed. The washing machine is 10 bucks a load she says. Called her on her bluff and she didn’t provide me any access to it. Someone sleeps in the middle of the hallway. The room was hot and asked to turn the heat down but did right when it was time for me to leave. Got a rash from her towel. Which I was only allowed one towel. Asked for more never received. The 5 flat pillows were agony. The bed was hard. Everything was dusty and I have pics of everything nothing was cleaned for my check in. Then last but not least she still has my deposit of 200 for absolutely no reason.
- Arturo (4/5): - Tried talking to staff about concerns, didn’t listen to what I had to say. Payed a pet fee for a service dog. Payed extra guest fee, had no extra guest. Amenities afeared, nothing there. It was house in the middle of no where, everything far away. No restaurants, shopping, or business near. Nothing to do around here. My questions or concerns were not answered
- Beverly (8/5): - It was a private residence, so it felt like I was staying the night at a friends house! I think she should put that information in her advertisement on the website. It is very deceiving!
- Marty (10/5): - The place was ok. Non-eventful.
- Gina (10/5): - We travel frequently for business & it can be very wearisome. This was a great little find with all the
Amenities of home. We were very comfortable & relaxed in this guesthouse & highly recommend.
- robbin (10/5): - This property was very convenient, peaceful and quiet.
- Gage (2/5): - Not a hotel!!
- Maureen (10/5): - LIFE SAVER!
The prices in Las Vegas were out of this world. We didn’t have the opportunity to choose our date because we were in town for a wedding & the room prices were outrageous. This place is quit the gem.
- Abel (2/5): - Nothing I don’t like anything there
Obviously no more trip with Expedia sorry
- Peggy (10/5): - We had a marvelous time in Las Vegas although it wasn’t long enough. We really enjoyed all of the amenities of the home and easy parking. We will definitely be back! We
- Mike (10/5): - We were in town for a family wedding & on a very tight budget. The location was just minutes from the beautiful 180 acre park with a lake, skate park & volleyball court which was all part of the venue for the wedding. The kids were never board & there was an extensive amount of photo opportunities. It was refreshing to have so many amenities so close.
- TenderHeart (10/5): - Life is Good. We had a very relaxing time in Las Vegas far apart from the usual rat race. We decided to try something different & stay off Strip & boy, was it nice. No traffic, no fighting for a parking spot, easy luggage transportation & and close to the airport. Yup this is a definite do over.
- Mary (10/5): - Cool, comfortable & inviting! We had a superb trip to Las Vegas although it wasn’t long enough. We were in close proximity to the airport, grocery store and a plethora of restaurants. Parking was a snap too. We were very happy with our experience.
- Denise (10/5): - We had a Very fun, very happy stay in Las Vegas. We were happy about our room & location. This was a great alternative from the high prices of the hotels.
- Misty (10/5): - We had an amazing trip to Las Vegas & it was much less expensive than our last trip due to our choice of this property. We not only saved money with the inexpensive room rate, but also the ability to cook & have a full refrigerator, microwave & coffee machine. The parking was very easy & free as well. We highly recommend.
- Gary (4/5): NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT - I booked in a hurry as other arrangement fell through. Three big problems. 1) this sounds like a hotel from the description and it is far from it. It is a private home in a residential neighborhood. It is a shared bedroom and bathroom home. There was even a guy sleeping on the couch in the hallway upstairs. We had one bedroom and shared the bath with the hall sleeper and two other bedrooms. I would never have booked it had I known.
2) they charge a outrageous cleaning fee that has to be paid in cash at the house. We had to pay $149 cleaning for a 4 night stay.
3) the thermostat is apparently controlled by the power company and set at 81 or 82 degrees F. Then in our upstairs bedroom it must have been at least 88 Degrees. It cooled a little at night but hard to deal with most of the time. The ceiling fan helped but a little.
The house is clean and quiet, but with like 6 different people living there the refrigerator was full and mostly unusable because there was no room.
We survived it, but it was not comfortable arrangements
- donald (2/5): Warning - Don’t do it
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never again. - Room was hot. Restroom not kept clean daily. Because of my booking price requested 2 night extension which ended up costing an outrageous $200 when it should not have been more than $100 after ridiculous cleaning fees that obviously aren’t being used to clean thoroughly.
- Courtney (2/5): DONT WASTE YLUR TIME - I was not able to stay there. When I booked the reservation it allowed for a 11am check in. I texted the property owner to confirm I was in route and she said I could not be checked in until 2:30pm.
When I made my reservation it said $99 would be due at the property but when I got there she wanted $99 plus an additional $200 on a credit card that I did not anticipate. I forgot that I had to unlock my card w my bank because I hardly use it and keep it that way for identity theft prevention. She ran my card 3 times back to back causing my bank to block the card for fraud suspicion after I just unlocked it.
At the time I was clueless to what was going the lady who runs the place to me to figure it out she had me waitin outside in over 100 degree weather while she "cooked chicken" (20 minutes). She could have invited me in to have a seat inside while I waited on her and called. But no, I was left outside hot and irritated and WITHOUT a refund.
She told me out her mouth to make other arrangements but texted me saying I could come back within the hour. Not realizing she probably did that to secure her payment. When I called hotels.com about a refund I was told they had to call the property owner a d get "permission". Hotels. com gives the property owner the right to treat guest any kind of way they choose and keep customers money.
I saw in another review post someone commenting about people outside trying to get in but did not think it would be me especially prepaying.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a refreshing change in the travel
Industry. We never tried this type of Venue in the past, but will Look for more on the future. We had a lovely visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, cool, comfortable & convenient. That’s all I really expected & everything was just as described. Thank you:)
- Kevin (2/5): Ghetto in the Suburbs - No chair in room. Thermostat set on 84 degrees F. No working light in room. Bed not as advertised. Basically a place to sleep only. Other residents smoked pot and using drugs. Overheard arguing. No shoes aloud past front door. Owner made me feel unsafe by telling me folks come by all the time and try to gain access as well as ask questions. Told to ignore them and go in. Place very clean but uncomfortable and unsafe.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Just like Motel 6 back in the day; they left the light on for us. A nice warm bed & clean shower & we were on our way the next day.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Happy visit, Happy life. This was a whole lot easier than staying on the strip. No traffic; easy parking & transportation of my bags; close the the airport; and very clean & comfort.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We usually stay at my daughters when visiting, but she has a full house with my granddaughters graduation. We didn’t know what to expect because we never tried this type of venue. It was welcomed eye opener to see all the comforts of home while out of town. This was a great experience for us.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a very enjoyable visit. Everything was as described. We had no unpleasant surprises & parking was exceptionally easy considering we were in Las Vegas.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Shopping, of all things, shopping is what brought me to Las Vegas for the first time. A free bus ticket & we we’re on our way. The accommodations were lovely, just like home. Also, our destination outlets were only 5 minutes away. We had a great time!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a short stay, but would be great for my longer stays in Las Vegas. I travel frequently & have found it much easier & less expensive trying different option with shared guest properties because it includes all The conveniences of home, parking is easier, and shopping is easier. Just something to consider for your next outing. I sure love it!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We were in Las Vegas to visit family & friends. We have been many times so we were looking for some place different. This was a great little spot because it was away from the commercialism of Las Vegas. We were right off of the 15 exit so getting around town was very easy & NO TRAFFIC!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was just a short & sweet pit stop. Everything was kosher.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I do frequent this location when my travels bring me to Las Vegas. There is an amazing park just across the street with lakes & geese; the perfect spot to take my dog. I enjoy the solitude in the midst of the busy town. I highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - EASY. Everything was easy from parking to the Virtual check-in to shop stores and restaurants to the frig & microwave to checking out to the airport. EASY.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was the perfect spot for a family reunion. All the conveniences of home & very spacious.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Last minute getaway; we couldn’t pass up the deal. Nothing to write home about, just a warm bed & refreshing shower & we were on our way.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - No Frill, just a great price & a comfortable stay. Everything was easy from the virtual check in to the instant check out to the airport.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I love all the options of vacationing these days. It was so peaceful and quiet. Very clean,
Convenient & cool. It was the perfect choice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great bang for your buck. Cool, clean & comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a great alternative from the strip. This cool, comfy, hideaway was just minutes from a plethora of shops and restaurants yet secluded in a quiet area; best of both worlds!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My girlfriend was even happy :) I usually stay in a hostel when I go to Las Vegas, but my girlfriend wasn’t having it. We compromised on this B&B & couldn’t have been happier. We usually have to walk what feels like blocks transporting our luggage; in this case, it was only a few steps. That alone was a huge advantage not to mention all the amenities. It was definitely were the right choice for us.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Express check in was a breeze. This place was a great alternative to staying on the Strip. Parking was easy, no traffic, everything I needed was within minutes.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfect trip! Las Vegas has been on my bucket list for quite some time. I really didn’t want to go during the hottest months of the summer, but this was an opportunity that came up quickly and I wasn’t going to miss out. The airfare & BNB were so cheap & the weather turned out to be really nice. The area was quite & the place was cool & clean. I certainly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - THE PENNEY SAVER
Magnificent Accommodations at a Magnificent price. Parking was a breeze which isn’t usually the case; pet friendly with a tremendous huge park right across the street. Everything we needed was within 5 minutes.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - That place is horrible paid for it with debit card. They would not refund me and they called and tried to charge me more deposits before I could even stay. They are schemers and just trying to get money off of people. Worst place ever I’ve been in hotel employment along time and would never mis guide customers or treating them so awful.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property is not a hotel at all, instead it’s more of an air bnb. I was in a rush to find a place so I went to Expedia and found the place as it was an emergency. My fault for not taking the time and reading through everything and paying better attention but this property absolutely should not be listed on Expedia as a hotel. This is wildly misleading. Plus, it’s in a bad part of town & super sketchy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We visited Las Vegas for the Garth Brooks Concert at the new Raiders Stadium so we wanted a place that was pretty close. Parking for the Stadium started at $150 & since we won our tickets, we were in no position to pay that amount. This little spot was a great alternative to paying the exorbitant prices at the strip. It was close enough to the the mainstream event & we saved enough money to stay another few days In Las Vegas. Parking was so easy & the place was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The listing for this vacation home is not as described as far as price and privacy. Listing says place to yourself but it is a shared home. The prices are aubject to change for pet fees and cleaning fees, but the deposit and fees jump from 500-600 to 900-1000 between booking and arrival, cash only despite the site stating that cash and card are accepted. Unable to get that amount 24 hours before booking (required time to call ahead as there is no front desk) and i am out of my trip because of their mistake and despite promise of refund, I have yet to recieve. Trip cannot be cancelled through expedia as they leave me on hold or hang up on me. Honestly i dont reccomend this place or expedia.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Outstanding visit even though we had to endure the 117 temps which is expected during the month of July in Las Vegas. The property manager was extremely congenial and gave us a five hour early check-in so we could beat the heat. Parking was onsite & very easy & the property was upscale & immaculate. We are ready to plan another visit!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Overall, this was a terrific trip. The temperature soared to 115 so we laid low during the day & ventured out at night. As always so much to do & see, it’s impossible to get it all in. The location was great bc it is in close proximity to just about every. The property was cool & quite, & very clean. We give it the thumbs up.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - GREAT STAY GREAT PRICE
We decided to get a last-minute getaway to Las Vegas to escape the humdrum of retired life. We normally stay at PH but there was no vacancy so we decided to take a chance and stay off strip. What a great change of scenery & freedom from the crowds. Parking was easy, very convenient check in and check out process; and it was very relaxing atmosphere. We were glad we stayed off strip & will do it again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was the most peaceful and tranquil stay I have had in Las Vegas. I came for a family reunion and it was the best trip of my life. Not only was it good to see friends and family, but the area was very clean safe and easy parking. I was centrally located & everything was so close.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Property is NOT a hotel. This is a private home in a residential community. Listing this as a hotel is misleading. We were not aware that the bathroom was shared with several people. No cleaning was done between users. The shower was too dirty to use, and used towels of others were left in the bathroom. The queen bed room consisted of a murphy bed that was permanently installed so that access to the closet was blocked completely, and a small bedside table. No climate control in the room, and it was too hot to sleep.
Room rate was listed as $100, but the actual rate included $200 paid on a credit card, and $100 that had to be paid in cash. Only after we complained did we receive a return of the $200 on the credit card.
- zhi (2/5): Horrible experience - Horrible experience. No air
conditioning at night of 100 degree in Las Vegas, can not sleep at all. Ceiling fans didn't help.
There is only a double bed and drawer in the room , we have no where to sit.
Many people live in the house , some sleep in the sofa of the hallway, surveillance camera everywhere in the kitchen, hallway ,sitting room you feel like in prison.
Refrigerator is full, we don't have room to put our food, since it was super hot we need cold water. I put 3 bottles of water in the refrigerator after I came back they are gone, I put another 3, next day they are gone, someone kept stealing our water.
I'm tired to complain it, overall, it is horrible experience.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The price of 80 $ per night is out of proportion of what you get: just a bed, no table, no chair in the bedroom, a bathroom you share with others, no AC in the bedroom, just a ceiling fan and we had to pay $ 200 in cash for cleaning cost when we arrived. Our bedroom was dusty and did not got cleaned during our 9 days stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - PERFECT FOR EXTENDED STAY!
This is the best game in town for N extended stay. Flexible pricing, low cost, all the amenities of home. This place is going into my contact book for the next time around.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Superb accommodations! The atmosphere Was peaceful & warm, safe & quiet area; close to everything. Per friendly too!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - POSITIVELY THE BEST STAY EVER!!!
Peaceful, Clean, quiet & convent are Just a few of
The attributes of this property. We were close to everything, Shopping, restaurants, all conveniences. Great parking, Pet friendly & there is a dog 175 acre park across the street.
