Jared (6/5): - Terrible uncomfortable beds, no hot tub, no warning about past restaurants being closed in Nauvoo, tub shower leaking water in tub weakening shower water pressure, torn screen in the window, nasty manager not believing my insomnia because the beds were so bad. We will never stay there again nor advise others to stay there.

Kib (4/5): - Was one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at in a long time. It was quite expensive. The staff was almost hostile. It smelled a little. The room felt dirty. There was no ice. Felt like an infamous tourist trap where the owners were intent on raking the guests for the most they could with the least expense possible. I don’t usually comment too much, but it was that bad! With the high prices they charge, the should be able to do something right for the customers.

Chari (2/5): Be careful here! - The location is great but the hotel is awful. Spiders and bugs in rooms. Pillows were rock hard. The hotel didn’t have ice!! The temps were heat advisery high and there wasn’t one ice machine working in the hotel. AWFUL!

Verified traveler (8/5): Met Our Needs - Roomy, clean. Conditions seem to vary some from room to room (viz. TV size, carpeting vs. hard floor). We were by the laundry, so staff & equipment got kind of noisy at times. Locking mechanism on window was broken. Nauvoo is a very seasonal attraction, so lodging & dining venues there probably have a hard time making a go of it.

Didn't like that the table was in a dark corner, so reading and writing difficult, and outlets in awkward places for charging mobile devices. The room was dark in general.
Jared (10/5): - Older hotel but in very good shape. The staff were very accommodating to all of our needs. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Will never hesitate to stay there again. There were other rooms available that were only available on certain websites or by calling only, but I didn't now the rooms were available until I showed up which would have been way more comfortable and accommodating for our stay. but we live and learn. That part was confusing, but now we know there are multi-bedroom rooms with kitchenettes available. Overall a great hotel for the area and worth the stay.

Scott (6/5): - This hotel is a place where I have stayed often, both for leisure and business. The hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. The beds in our unit were old, lumpy and resulted in receiving very little sleep. Art in the hallways is faded and carpet is traffic worn. The staff, as always, were extremely friendly, kind and great to work with. I hope this place gets some much-needed investment soon!

The staff were friendly and informative, the room was clean, and the pillows were so comfortable with such soft pillow cases and a matching soft blanket. No breakfast offered, a little gift shop, plenty of parking in the lot, and several entrances for convenient ways to get to your room.
Mark and Kelly (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay for the rodeo! Rooms were nice and grandkids had fun in the pool. No jacuzzi though. Easy drive to the rodeo and parade. Within 15 -20 minutes to whatever we needed. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Paul (10/5): - This is one of the better hotels in the Nauvoo area and is very conveniently located near the temple and historic sites. Rooms are large and clean and it has a nice indoor pool. I would recommend this over any hotel in Keokuk. Just be aware that dining options are limited and they don't include a breakfast so plan accordingly.

Verified traveler (6/5): Great location and staff but very dated - Location was good, only a few minutes drive to historic Nauvoo, but it felt expensive given the state of the hotel. It looks (and smells) like it hasn’t been updated in forty years. Breakfast also isn’t included, which would have been great given the lack of places to eat in town. Staff were great and very helpful.
Claire (8/5): - Fairly standard hotel. The room for six of us was comfortable. But they only supplied four towels and we had to ask for more. Also, when a toilet clogged, they handed us towels and a plunger to take care of it ourselves. Talk about a walk of shame through the hallways.

Judith (6/5): Sore back every morning - Clean, friendly check in. Thought we had the Family Suite with multiple rooms and a kitchenette but ended up with a regular room with an added bunkbed. Booking says “Family room” and website still shows “Family Suite” as an option and no other rooms called family - not sure what happened there. Sister ordered another way and didn’t get a suite either. The beds were SO HARD! Even my sister who likes firm beds said it was “hard as a rock”. Husband ended up on the bottom bunk after the first night because it was slightly better - but he wonders if sleeping in the car would have been better. My sister in law had a mattress topper on one of her beds. Jealous! Three nights on those beds was tough. I heard there is a new owner, so hoping they will be fixed!! I would not stay again unless I knew they were. I did like the ambiance created in the hotel - candle/sconce lights, nice pictures, and look of old fashioned rugs. Also good location. The kids loved the pool! Also has multiple signs saying there is a restaurant, but there isn’t.

Verified traveler (10/5): VERY HELPFUL STAFF!!!! - The place is old and cute. The pool was fun. The staff were so helpful when we needed to make a room change to be closer to our teen's room. Also, after we were in another state, my daughter realized she left a sentimental piece of jewelry in her room. They were great to look and find it, and sent it home with friends who stayed in the same hotel days after us. So grateful for their wonderful hospitality!
Karen (6/5): - Though the staff people were very polite, the hotel itself is really in need of updating. There are no USB ports for charging electronic devices in the rooms. There is no place to eat on the premises, and though the room had a microwave and refrigerator, there is no grocery store in Nauvoo (had to shop at Dollar General for food). Very limited restaurants in the town of Nauvoo. We had to drive 15 miles to Hamilton for breakfast. I really can't recommend this hotel.
