- Brandi (10/5): Great hotel - Breakfast was wonderful, access to pool, clean room for the most part. Very accommodating. Our blow dryer didn't work they sent one right away ❤️ The mattress covers had blood and juice spilled on them they clearly hadn't been washed. Thank God their was clean sheets over it. We check all beds upon arrival for bugs. No bugs just blood and juice

The room is equipped with microwave oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, cooking utensils, so cooking is not a problem. Walmart is just a mile away. The rooms are clean with neat carpets. As the hotel is on the edge of Warren town it is quite to relax. Not far from General Motors Tech Center.

- janiemp (8/5): Good location, great staff - I would stay again! The location was perfect for us, staff was kind & room was large. The lobby & first floor look great. Our room was on 4th floor and was clean but definitely in need of TLC. The carpet was wrinkled & popped up & you could see the insulation (?) on the side of the dishwasher. The wallpaper & carpet are in need of replacing in the hallway. I did bring this up at checkout & was informed that they are in the process of renovating. I suggest requesting on room on the first floor.

I woke up showered.My wife asked if I could grab her a fresh towel. To our surprise they didn’t have any clean towels available.. my wife was not impressed

- Traveler02269761608 (10/5): Great Location for Concerts - My husband and I stayed here last week for the Chris Brown concert at Ford Field. We were coming to visit from another state, so obviously we are not too familiar with the area and we knew it was a bit of a drive to Ford Field. However, for the price of gas, traveling, and concert tickets, we felt confident staying at a Homewood Inn & Suites because we frequently stay at Hilton properties. We booked a parking garage close to Ford Field and we had no problem driving from Warren to Detroit! The hotel was clean and customer service was great although we didn’t need it except for when we needed a key card to operate the lights in the room (we usually use the digital key card in the Hilton honors app). Although we didn’t have time to use the pool, the free breakfasts are always a great perk especially for out of town guests who are looking to save some costs while on a trip! We will definitely stay here again if we visit Detroit for future concerts. There are many restaurants nearby that we enjoyed, specifically Buddy’s Pizza and Donut Castle. Thanks for the fun trip!

Only negatives were that my dog found food on the floor, ice maker was noisy (even when turned off), paper towels were not replaced, and no one at front desk. Also, located on a noisy side street where trucks go up and down.
- L (4/5): - The receptionist that checked me in gave me the incorrect number for a second night stay. When I tried to book my second night they did not honor that number. My room was not properly cleaned there was hair all over the room . On the towels and in the shower. I would like to be compensated for the poor service and standard of cleanliness here.
- yates (7/5): It was a comfortable place to stay for me and my children would definitely stay at one of their other locations if avail - The room size and the breakfast. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I ever had! The staff that I saw was really nice. Loved having the full kitchen and living room separate from the bed room. My room had a weird smell at first but it eventually went away. There were 5 of us in the room but only 3 towels sets. I asked for more got them easy the first time. Second time I needed 5 and all the had was wash clothes no towels. They were short staffed I believe. My sister stayed at the Hampton Inn behind them and they told her that when she asked for towel sets for her family and they are owned by the same person.

The breakfast was ok. It was hot but more options would have been great. Waffles, egg white patties, bacon, potatoes, and cereal were the options both days. We had trouble getting into the side entrance with the room key and thankfully another guest helped us.

- Donna (4/5): - The staff at the hotel was helpful and did what they could to make our stay more comfortable. However, the first room we were in had a previous guest’s dirty clothes under the bed, the closet had an awful smell and we found a bed bug in the room. When we alerted the staff of the bed bug, they had us move rooms, to a much smaller room as that’s all they had available. Overall, I wouldn’t stay at this property again. The staff mentioned we should be getting a refund for the room but have yet to receive a credit.

The focus of the kitchen should have been cleanliness and organization. There were no silverware for the guest to eat out of the morning on 2.21.24. They gave the guest plastic afterwards which I’m not opposed to. The staff gave off racism and I will tell my story first with the new era of Detroit and I will then share my experience and my children’s thoughts on all social media sites

It wasn’t until I emailed the general manager that something was done. We ended up being late for an event that we had come to Detroit for. The staff and general manager were attentive to us after I sent the email. I doubt we will be back though.

Room was tidy at best, not clean. -Toilet seat still had pee on it from the people who stayed before us. Should tell you what the cleaning staff actually cleans. -Sofa was completely broken and we couldn't sit on it. Was told they'd replace it but who knows when. -a whole child Canadian hockey team was saying at the property and they came down in herds clearing out the breakfast every morning. The front desk should've warned the kitchen to be ready for the extra crowd. Had to wait around for coffee, and basic foods. Not staying here again. Going way down hill.

- indayr2015 (2/5): Property Team/Staff needs more customer service training!!! - I made a reservation for this property for a first time guest for an upcoming trip and being a Hilton Honor Gold member, you would expect a better attitude from their property manager. I know I spoke with a "Fady" who is the general manager because he said his name when he anwered the phone and let me tell you, this guy needs an "attitude" check!!! Anways, I would have loved to review the property itself and their amenities but unfortunately, when their own property manager doesn't know what "customer service" is, especially for their GOLD MEMBERS, that to me is a total RED FLAG!!! That means if he can act like that to a tier like mine, imagine how he would accomodate people with no tier attached to their reservations. WOW!!! - Reservation, Cancelled!!! Well, since I am both a Marriott and Hilton Gold member, I have no qualms moving over to Marriott and would not be considering this property for future reservation (maybe unless they change management!). Remember, the property may look nice from the pictures but if the people who runs it has no customer service values, then it's not worth your money to spend on and you would get nothing but aggreviation and that's just based on my experience!

The room was clean, however the towels had visible wear as mine had a hole in it. Last but not least, my receipt was correct but was charged $100 more on my credit card. Very disappointing and stressful stay.

- MarkjV25 (6/5): Not what I expected - I want to give this place 5 stars because the building seems brand new and has a lot of potential. There are a lot of problems with this hotel. It seems like that housekeeping is non-existent throughout the hotel. There are crumbs, grass clippings and food debris everywhere. In the dining area, lobby, stair wells and hallway during my 3 day stay. The gym had no towels and no sanitizing wipes to clean the equipment. I called down to the front desk for sanitizing wipes and towels and the agent said “I’ll bring you towels.” The business center had non-working computers. The breakfast was out of everything at 830-900 every single day. I was here on the weekend. The lady working the kitchen was disorganized. The food stations were not cleaned, nothing was being filled, and the garbage had no liners so everyone was throwing trash in a box with no liner in the bin. I can understand one day but this was every single day. They need to hire her more help. I have never experienced this at any HOMEWOOD suites. Ok, the positives. My room during check in was very clean, it was quiet, comfortable, and the gym is very nice. The gym is very big and has everything you need for a full work-out. Free weights, elliptical, bikes, treadmills, medicine balls and a pulley station. I hope management fixes everything because this place has a lot of potential.

All kinds of trash and "crumbs", but watching front desk personnel walk by it was next level lazy. I guess it is not anyone's job... Not to mention having keyless entry, to avoid stopping at the front desk. But you have to have a key card to turn the lights on????

- IvyB132 (4/5): Lackluster - Two stars is being generous. Checked in on a Sunday and it was never mentioned that housekeeping was by request only. Especially did not think twice about considering the sticker on the mirror says it’s done every other day. 3rd day in and no housekeeping. I call down to get fresh towels only to be told I have to come and get them. Service/communication is poor. Dishes left in the dishwasher instead of being put away. Floors are sticky like they haven’t been mopped in a while. Not many Hilton options in this area so I took a chance staying here instead of the Hampton Inn next door. Won’t make this mistake again.
