• Eric Nicolas (6/5): Lindo lugar. - El hotel está bien, es lindo y podés caminar a lugares cerca como restaurants o pequeños mercados. La habitación estaba limpia y el wifi funcionaba bastante bien. Incluso nos dieron recomendaciones de a dónde ir a cenar o ir a comprar cosas. El check-in fué un completo desastre. El chico que estaba en el hotel no entendía absolutamente nada, ni siquiera hablaba inglés. No sabía que habíamos reservado. Tuvimos que llamar nosotros a su jefe para poder hacernos entender. Estuvimos como 20 minutos esperando a que el jefe llegara y, recién entonces poder hacer el check-in. Otra cosa que no me gustó es que la habitación individual tenía olor a humedad y la limpieza no era tan buena.

Good for the price, can accommodate a group of 3 as it has one masterbed and a single bed along with AC! My room had a small balcony too. Negative - Washroom needs additional maintenance, the showerhead and toilet are super close to each other. Reached really late at night and no one answered the call, communication can really be made better.

• V (5/5): - The host was very nice and welcoming. The beds were really comfy. We were given extra pillows and sheets when requested. Toilet paper and hot water was available. Rooms were quite clean but not as expected The rooms are outdated, looks nothing like the ones shown in the pictures. Completely misleading. The Air con was working perfectly alright but way too noisy and made us wake up a few times in the night. We had booked two rooms and one was inside the house while the other room given to us was outside which is not nice. The rooms which we were given were quite small. The bathroom was clean but the sink was separate and it wasn't that clean. There were some ants in the room. No mirror in the room but only in the bathroom sink. The towels and the bed linen were so old. Would have been great if at least a small bar of soap was available.

• Capucine (9/5): Bon séjour ! - La chambre est équipé de tout ce qu'il faut, climatisation réglable, moustiquaire, douche, WC, draps, serviettes... Nos deux nuit se sont bien passées, nous n'étions pas trop là la journée. Le personnel est gentil et donne de bon conseils. On entend ce qu'il se passe dehors et c'est une rue plutôt passante.

• Caroline (7/5): Für den Preis super ! - Die Mitarbeiter waren überdurchschnittlich engagiert und haben uns rund um die Uhr für Fragen und Probleme zur Verfügung gestanden ! Zimmer durchschnittlich. Leider war die Dusche kaputt. Wir konnten erst ein anderes Zimmer zum duschen nutzen und eine Nacht später wurde es provisorisch repariert. Danke für das schnelle kümmern!! Leider waren die Betten etwas dreckig und die Klimaanlage pustet direkt aufs Bett was sehr unangenehm ist aber ohne Klimaanlage auch nicht auszuhalten war.

• NAVALON PASTOR (1/5): Tracte deplorable, no hi aneu - Estava ben situat; el propietari força atent. El tracte del manager va ser pèssim. Ens va enganyar i intentava estafarnos en tota l’ajuda que li vam demanar. Vam anul.lar la segon nit i ell ens va dir que ens tornaria 2000 rúpies i ens pujaria la primera nit, vam acceptar i quan vam marxar no ens va voler tornar els diners, quan ja haviem pactat cancel.lar la nit q través de booking i ell tornar-nos els diners. D’altra banda ens va dir que ens podia ajudar per llogar una moto; ens va dir que el preu eren 3500 rúpies per dia i no era així quan va venir a la nit el propietari; a més ens van dur una moto que no funcionava la pantalla i no sabiem quanta gasolina ens quedava. A més a més quan intentàvem parlar en ell o arribar a un punt d’entesa es reia de nosaltres amb mala fe. La neteja no és el seu fort, els lavabos no estavan gaire nets, els llançols tenien taques negres i hi havia molta bruticia.
• Łukasz (6/5): Good but be careful when paying - There was hot water in the shower, the room was fine, it was quite clean and the staff was friendly and let us use the kitchen to cut some fruits. The only downside was the checkout. When we wanted to pay, the guy demanded 2000rs more than the actual price. and when i got into his office the actual price was written on his board with the USD conversion - it matched my booking price. i feel like he tried to scam me and that it was not a mistake.

• Theo (8/5): Clean, cheap, nice staff but ants. - The room is very cheap and has good working AC and hot water. The staff are also very nice and helped us book a tuktuk to Sigiriya. The property is very close to a couple of nice restaurants and a lake you can go for a morning walk around. I highly recommend the French Toast at The Coffee Shop next to the Lake. Our room was a ground floor room that exited straight onto the yard which meant that there were ants in our room and in the toilet each evening. The room itself is basic and the area was a little outside the centre but fine for the price.

Excellent conducteur et adorable guide. Notre chambre etait bien agreable et tres propre. Rapport qualite prix imbatable pour famille.

Cerca del ruidoso centro pero en una zona tranquila para poder descansar (Aún así, se necesita vehículo para visitar la ciudad antigua). Nos falto una zona común del hotel. Es un poco frío, bien para dormir, pero nada más.

• Pirmin (8/5): Gute Unterkunft, gerne wieder - Freundlicher Hausherr. Er hat uns einen guten Tuktuk Fahrer organisiert, der uns wunderbar zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten gefahren hat. Dabei haben wir viel mehr gesehen, als wir erwartet hatten.

The staff didn't speak english almost at all, so it was something i did not expect and at first it was difficult to communicate that we are leaving next day very early and we wanted to pay in advance not at the end of the stay.

• Laetitia (10/5): Je conseille vivement ! - Malheureusement, je n'ai pu passer qu'une nuit sur place, à cause de problèmes de santé. La chambre était propre, confortable, lumineuse. L'hôte a été très compréhensif compte tenu de la situation, il m'a facilité ce court séjour et était très accommodant. La location d'un vélo ou scooter pour la visite des nombreux sites archéologiques semble essentielle (on peut aussi faire appel à un tuk-tuk...). Je ne peux pas dire beaucoup plus mais je remercie grandement mon hôte pour son soutien. Unfortunately, I was only able to spend one night there, due to health issues. The room was clean, comfortable, bright. The host was very understanding given the situation, he made this short stay easier for me and was very accommodating. Renting a bike or scooter to visit the many archaeological sites seems essential (you can also use a tuk-tuk). I can't say much more but I thank my host greatly for his support.

• Kirsten (8/5): Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding - Ontzettend lieve eigenaar die, hoewel hij nauwelijks Engels spreekt, heel erg probeert het je naar de zin te maken. Ontbijt voor 1000 rupee, waar ook vier personen van hadden kunnen eten (ik was alleen). Schone kamers. Kamer voelt in eerste instantie wat klam, maar met airco aan is dat zo verdwenen. Bedden zijn wat aan de harde kant en kussens hebben beste tijd gehad. Beddengoed heeft wat gaten en kleine vlekken die er niet uitgaan. Echter wel schoon. Maar voor dit geld vind ik ook niet dat je meer mag verwachten.

• Mathieu (10/5): Super - De eigenaar is super vriendelijk. Hij heeft voor ons veel geregeld. Het was een heerlijke kamer met een lekker bed. We hebben last minute een safari geboekt. Het was binnen 5 minuten geregeld en vlekkeloos verlopen. Super ontbijt Alles was goed.

• Jutta (8/5): Eine gute Wahl - Die Lakeside Villa liegt wenig Meter entfernt vom See, die "Innenstadt" und auch the New Busstation sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist srilankesisch frisch gekocht und reichhaltig. Das Wasser ist warm :) das Internet stabil. Der Besitzer war überaus freundlich und sehr um unser Wohlergehen bemüht. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. ...uns hat es wirklich gut gefallen, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt

• andrew (3/5): Disappointing. - The young man who checked me in was very polite and friendly. Made check in easy. Hygiene and managers rudeness when informed of early check out due to cleanliness issue. The shared kitchen was one of the most unhygienic I have seen. Everything dirty. Mould in the room, had cockroaches in the kitchen and room. When informed that I would check out early due to the condition described the only concern the manager had was the commission he had to pay to booking.com. I offered to help with contact and was prepared to discuss finding a solution regarding the commission and helping him to have contact with booking and unblocking the room. The manager started to become sarcastic and rude to me and constantly showing me what profit he would make from my booking. When challenged he did apologize. I did not experience any concern about the hygiene issues. Once the manager apologized he then asked me not to make a review or have contact with booking.com. I will be an interested to see if he replies to these comments.
• Fynn (3/5): Selbst für eine Nacht zu lang. Preis-Leistung ist nicht gerechtfertigt. - Dass ich nur eine Nacht geblieben bin. Die Klimaanlage. Das Bett war mit Abstand am schlimmsten. Ich habe im Zimmer unten rechts geschlafen und die Matratze war so extrem durchgelegen, dass man ständig in eine Kuhle gerollt ist und kaum schlafen konnte. Das schlechteste Bett in dem ich in meinem Leben bisher geschlafen habe - ehrlich. Über die Sauberkeit und die sonstigen Zimmerausstattung muss man nicht reden - die sind hier, wie in den meisten Hotels jenseits von gut und böse.
