Guest Reviews
- Ritva (9/5): Interrailing - Lovely small hotel in good location. Walking distance from the rail station and old town.
The host was very friendly and gave good tips for restaurants. Breakfast superb!
- Trinh (7/5): Good - We were offered to read a book by a local author and it was interesting. I bought the book and it will be a reminder of this trip.
- Magdalena (8/5): Very nice cozy hotel near the center - Clean room wirh comfortable bed. Hotel close to the center. A little bit noisy because of the church bells but the earplugs are avaliable in the reception desk
- Hanek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (8/5): Good location and quiet. - Older style accommodation a short walk from the train station and the old town. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. There is no lift but that's to be expected in an older building. We would certainly stay here again.
- Martina (8/5): Very good -
- Aegyedi (10/5): Great hotel and location - Great hotel, friendly staff, great location, excellent breakfast. Pet-friendly.
- Carl (9/5): Short stay for the Dult - Great location and a very cosy room Bed was a little low. Would have loved air conditioning too when it was really warm
- Krystian (8/5): Very good - The biggest advantage of that place was the gentleman who ran it. Helpful, friendly, professional.
- Marta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayden (9/5): Lovely place for a short stay - In a good location, staff were lovely and friendly. Clean bathroom and bedroom. We're used to air conditioning, which isn't popular in Europe. But there was a great Dyson fan that pushed a lot of air to cool us.
- Zugey (8/5): Very good - The location! Exceptional Bathroom a bit too small.
- Amy (10/5): Wonderful location of a very welcoming hotel - Super friendly owner, quaint hotel located close to the bus station and old town. Really a gem of a place in Regensburg. It was really hot when we stayed. We were on the first floor front room and had our windows open at the top due to the room itself being really hot. Would have liked to have placed the fan on the desk but unable to use the outlet where the television was plugged. I think raising the fan higher than on the chair would have helped.
- Rasa (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (9/5): Loved it, thank you. - The hotel is in an excellent location and the facilities are very good. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and enabled us to find places to eat that could deal with my food allergies. N/A
- Gergely (10/5): Exceptional - Directly in the centre Small staircase
- Antti (9/5): Superb - We had a lovely time in this hotel during our visit to Regensburg. The hotel rooms are fairly small but clean and the old house is charming. The location is perfect right next door to the beautiful medieval Regensburg old town as well as the Turn und Taxis palace complex, and not far from the railway station. This is a very small hotel and the reception is not manned 24h, but you can get in by a door code and the friendly staff is happy to make arrangements.
- Tucci (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kamila (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly staff. Tasty breakfast.
- Mélanie (9/5): Cosy and joy - I really loved this hotel. Close to the old town and the train station. Very cosy and quiet. The breakfast is just perfect. I recommend this hotel. Don't be surprised as it is in an old building with a lot of wood, a bit noisy when people walk on the stairs or on the floor. It doesn't remove the charm of the hotel and kindness of the host.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriel (10/5): Excellent accommodation, would stay again. - Excellent location, a few minutes from the train station, old town and of course the Castle with its basilica and excellent museum. I was delighted to find my room had a bath and good adjustable heating (was there during a cold snap.)
There was no kettle in the room but there is a tea station with kettle downstairs in the lounge area. People with limited mobility should book a room on the ground floor as the stairs to the upper floors are fairly steep.
- Casey (9/5): Superb -
- Alvin (7/5): Good - Location Room a bit small
- Frederick (9/5): Superb - The front reception was outstanding. I presume he is the owner. He went out of his way with each guest to pint out top restaurants recommendations which were fantastic.
- Stojisav (8/5): Very good -
- Eugenia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Farah (5/5): Passable -
- Ema (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeroen (6/5): You get what you pay for - Comfortable bed, clean room, the receptionists at check in and check out were the best. It has been said before in the reviews already, but the hotel is situated along a fairly crowded road, so we didn't have the best night of sleep. Besides this, the bathroom, and the shower cabin in particular, was quite the tight fit.
All and all, I can't complain too much about this place for the price I have paid, and this room does the job for an overnight stay on a long road trip, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place for a multiple night stay.
- Bede (10/5): Exceptional - Small and cozy, excellent choice for a short trip in Regensburg. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious, don't skip it. Gentleman at the reception is also very nice and accomodating. :)
- Vašek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Portia (7/5): Good -
- Léon (9/5): Charming hotel with friendly staff - Very friendly staff, cute little hotel with great location! Bathroom was a bit small - but I guess this is part of its charme
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - I've stayed at many different hotels in Regensburg and this might be my new favorite hotel. It's a couple minutes from the train station, right across the street from the castle, easy to walk throughout the entire city. The man who greeted me and explained everything was so sweet. The room was very clean and the bed was also comfortable. I will definitely stay here again!
- Géza (8/5): Cozy little hotel with friendly staff - This is one of the nicest 2 star hotels I've been to. Even though it is not a standard at this level, there are lots of nice details in the decoration of the common areas and the rooms. I particularly loved the fancy toothbrush holders in my room. At arrival there was nobody there, entered with a code and my key waited for me in a stylish wooden box with some welcome sweets. Later I met staff members, they were very friendly and spoke good English. The location is superb, the historical center is just 2 streets away. A working station for a laptop in the room would have been nice. There was only a tiny table fitting a tray for the water bottle and glasses coming with the room. No chair to sit at it.
- Sergey (9/5): Nice stay - It's a nice small hotel with a very friendly host. Well located - 10 minutes from railway station and the city center. The host was very kind, he recommended us places to visit in the town (it's a pity we had not much time to see it all). At the morning, the host prepared for us a yummi breakfast, it was so nice. It was a bit noisy in the room, because the window is located to a street road side.
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivo (9/5): Nice , cosy hotel near the center. - Cosy nice hotel with extreamly nice and helpfull staff. Situated really near from city centre. Quality breakfast.
- Hmhorta (9/5): Great option to visit Regensburg old town - Great location in the center, very good breakfast, super nice owner. Matress was a bit soft.
- Jeuring (9/5): Superb -
- Bärbel (8/5): Very good - close to the station and close to the city centre bathroom was very small, the lid of the toilet seat could not be lifted properly because of the water tank
- Ömer (10/5): Exceptional - Location and style
- Kris (8/5): Very cute hotel, close to both train station and old town center. - We loved being near the train station and also so close to the center. The room was very cozy and though small, well laid out. Unfortunately, our room was right on the busy street so very noisy since we needed to keep the window open due to the heat, no AC. The bathroom was too tiny.
- Vrabie71 (10/5): Castle hotel - Close to everything, nice personnel. The room was extremely hot and humid and there was just a little fan that didn't help much.
- Dorota (10/5): Exceptional - Super clean, friendly staff, perfect location No parking
- Songklod (10/5): Exceptional -
- András (9/5): Superb - Cute little room in the historical old town, 5-10 minutes from the very centre on foot. The main train station is also very near, where shops are open even on public holidays. The are very friendly. The room is tiny but makes the most of the small space available. The room and especially the bathroom are tiny. I'm sorry to say but above a certain level of obesity (well above 100 kg), you probably can't squeeze yourself through into the shower.
- Eszter (8/5): Very good -
- Aegyedi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phelia (10/5): A welcome stay! - Amazing breakfast with local products! Quiet and comfortable room so near the center and hotel very accommodating to shelter our bikes. Very friendly and helpful owner. We would definitely stay again. Can’t think of anything!
- Samuel (9/5): We had a very enjoyable stay in a charming and comfortable little hotel. Excellent breakfast. - Very nice hotel - warm welcome and excellent breakfast. Close to the city center. As a very minor remark - the bathroom is a bit small - but is fully equipped and clean.
- Dabana (9/5): Nice hotel, excellent location - An excellent location, close to the railway station and the centre of the town. Everything worked, the room was clean, nice. If I come to Regensburg again, I will definitely look for this hotel again. For a short stay, it was perfect. For a longer stay, I would prefer more space to store things, maybe a table. The room was quite small, but everything important was there and worked.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful place made with great attention to small details. Very clean. Close both to railway station and to city center. We'd love to stay here again some time.
- Roeland (7/5): A nice stay in a little hotel with a warm welcome! - The hotel is very close to the coty centre, the Thurn und Taxis Museum/Palace and a parking garage. It's very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. You really feel very welcome as a guest. The room, bathroom and the bed all are too small even when you're quite thin. It was impossible to sit in the toilet in a normal way. It must be hard to enter the shower when being pregnant or having a belly. The streetside of the hotel can be quite noisy at night due to yelling juveniles and traffic.
- Ray (10/5): I would recommend this day and will check in anytime soon again - Everything was just great. Please continue as is. Very friendly and competent stuff. The breakfast was truly a home made and really yummy. Nothing it was all good
- Magda (9/5): Cozy hotel with very friendly staff. - A cozy smalltime hotel with a couple of rooms. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was neat and clean with enough space for our luggage. Location is very strategic, good distance from train station, a parking garage is just around the corner, as is the city centre. Bathroom is very small with a weird corner where the toilet is placed.
- Marie (9/5): Superb -
- Denys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Povilas (10/5): Exceptional - The most comfortable bed ever! Friendly host.
- Lalu (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice Hotel with extremely friendly staff in beautiful surroundings.
- Wyatt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jergus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eva (7/5): Friendly staff, good location, delicious breakfast! - The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was nice but the bathroom was very small, reducing the overall comfort.
- Moemi (10/5): can recommend! - cute and cozy. also nice people. I liked everything
- Ursula (9/5): Would probably return for the location. It was easy to reach everything on foot in old town. - Nice breakfast, typical German. The owner was extremely helpful answering questions about the area. Fantastic location right across from the Thurn & Taxis Castle. The room was very small, yet nicely decorated, by American standards and really only for sleeping. It was however very quiet when keeping the windows closed.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Milan (9/5): Superb -
- Monika (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was very nice and welcoming. The room was bigger than we expected. The breakfast was excellent. The room on the ground floor can be noisy at night.
- Errol (8/5): I was very happy - It was clean and very comfortable, the staff were very friendly I didn’t find anything wrong
- Valentina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (5/5): Passable - Good location. Hours of operation are not reliable. There wasn’t a worker there when I checked in or checked out and both were during hours. Not very convenient.
- Hanne (8/5): Very good -
- Kosťantyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andy (9/5): Superb - A brilliant location. Friendly staff. Room was nice. No kettle in the room but you can go downstairs to make a cuppa. Bathroom and toilet very small. Fine for a couple of nights but would be a pain for longer stays or if you were a larger person.
- Jacoba (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Ruth (9/5): Gentle, calm, clean and comfortable accommodation almost in the middle of beautiful Regensburg. - Comfortable accommodation close to Altstadt. Charming host. Nothing!
- Valts (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vlas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alain (9/5): A superb place for a two days break on the Danube cycling route. Very nice hosts! - The location is great. Also the fact that one can use the facilities of the breakfast room in the evening. Breakfast is fine. Hosts are very helpful. Although there is no parking for bicycles, we could leave them by the piano. May be the breakfast is a bit expensive compared to other places. But hosts take care to propose true local products !
- Katarína (9/5): We ennjoyed our stay and would come back. - Location, staff, rooms
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- Nina (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - .Beautiful rooms. Easy walk to everywhere Aircon would have been useful at night.
