- aurelie (10/5): Un hôtel qui fait partie de l'expérience Lecce - Très bel hôtel dans un batiment historique, très bien situé, juste à l'entrée du centre historique donc accessible en 2 minutes à pied après avoir franchi la "porte" d'acces à la ville (le plus dur sera de vous garer). Un acceuil et un personnel charmant, aux petits soins. Une chambre superbe (celle avec l'arbre peint sur le mur) avec un équipement 5 étoiles. Ne manquez pas le très beau spa (en supplément mais totalement privatisé). Le petit dej est excellent avec beaucoup de choix. On a passé un très bon moment dans cet hôtel. Rien

Les suppléments parking 40 euros, le spa à payer à l'heure et sur rendez-vous, le jus d'orange 3,50, au petit déjeuner qui est servi à une table collective. Il ne faut pas s'attendre à un palais mais à plusieurs immeubles reliés entre eux par une cour et des escaliers difficiles à monter pour des gens d'un certain âge. Le prix de 900 euros la nuits me semble ahurissants et j'ai l'impression de m'être fait escroqué par Booking.

All the team were amazing and could not do more for us. - 5 star breakfast stunning presentation, beautiful table decorations and the breakfast team were fantastic and could not have been more lovely. The location of the hotel was perfect for us to discover the historical splendour of Lecce We were there early in the season and the roof top bar was not open. We look forward to returning later on in the year. There was absolutely nothing we did not like about this property.

- antoine (9/5): Séjour fabuleux dans un hôtel de charme - Hôtel plein de charme. Le SPA est tout simplement exceptionnel. Les chambres sont décorées avec beaucoup d’élégance, et le personnel se distingue par sa gentillesse, son attention et sa disponibilité. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, servi sous forme de buffet. Quant à l’emplacement de l'hôtel, il est idéal : à deux pas de la rue principale de Lecce et de la plupart des sites à visiter, tout en restant au calme. Le service voiturier est un peu cher.

- Wolfe (10/5): Amazing property, locato - The location of this property was outstanding for touring the historical center of Lecce. The palazzo is beautiful and the staff make the experience one of a kind. They even went out of the way to coordinate a delicious birthday cake and balloons in the room with candles to blow out for my son’s birthday. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with good beds. Breakfast was in a gorgeously decorated dining room and the staff were always available to answer questions on text, help with luggage and gave recommendations on places to see when we arrived. It was a wonderful stay on our week in Puglia.

Since we arrived we were received with warmth and special dedication by the staff in reception, the great general manager and the beautiful ladies in the breakfast room. Everything was spotless. We highly recommend this Palazzo to everyone that wants to spend some time in Lecce. What’s not to like?

- Julie (5/5): Not what we expected, sorry! - Firstly, Alfonso was exceptional. Very good staff here helped us with an early check in and room with a bath. We really appreciated that as my husband had just come out of intensive care. However, we paid 320 euros for our room - just for one night, and this was definitely not good value for money. The staff try and 'sell' you the happy hour (even though my they knew my husband came out of hospital and unlikely to drink), the breakfast menu had a 3.5 euro charge for fresh orange juice that we noticed after we ordered it. However, to the hotel's credit, they did not charge us for this on check out. When paying 320 euro for one night, I was really surprised to find things like that chargeable! Everything in the room chargeable too. It really felt as though they wanted to sell you everything... The photos had sold the place to me as we had just come from another boutique hotel with a lovely breakfast area on the roof. The photos led me believe that this hotel also had an eating area on the roof - pictures showed tables, chairs and lighting, but when we went up there - nothing. Just a few plain sun loungers, not like the photos. But the most disappointing thing was that we paid less for this hotel than we did the Patria Palace - a 5star leading hotel of the world (where we stayed the following couple of days)! And the facilities at the Patria, breakfast there etc etc far surpassed this boutique hotel and no charge for fresh orange juice! The thing that was positive about this boutique hotel was one member of staff, Alfonso, who couldn't have been kinder and even drove us to the Patria Palace. It makes me feel bad writing this review, but one person does not make up for the fact that the owners dynamic pricing serves to rip off guests who need to book last minute. The rate we paid was exorbitant for what we got, definitely not value for money at 320 euros a night. I would have expected around 160 euro max. As above!

- Michael (10/5): Wonderful stay at a top-notch hotel with excellent service and impressive suites. - Given a wonderful welcome upon arrival with a free drink, bags taken to the suite and a tour of the impressive spa facilities. We appreciated the free room upgrade to an even larger suite and the wine and fruit awaiting us. The suite was expansive with a sitting room, a huge bedroom and two bathrooms, and tastefully furnished throughout with quirky furniture. Breakfast choice was wide with cereal, toast, meat, cheese, local delicacies and cakes all well presented. The hotel was quiet due to the absence of traffic and as only half of the rooms were occupied. Excellent service from the staff throughout our stay. A very minor annoyance was needing to ask for more straightforward things at breakfast such as larger spoons and milk for the cereal, and only having bowls at the opposite end of the long breakfast room. Some of the cakes were also a little dry and lacked flavour. We would have appreciated a refill of teabags when the room was turned down for the evening.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, the rooms well appointed and comfortable, the spa a real treat after long sightseeing walks. Also, great food at afternoon appetizers and breakfast.

Camere molto spaziose e particolarmente belle, così come gli spazi comuni. Il servizio, la gentilezza e l'accoglienza del personale davvero eccezionali. Infine l'atmosfera suggestiva favorita dagli ambienti, tutti in pietra leccese, è stata davvero emozionante. la fruibilità della piccola SPA, che essendo piccola bisogna prenotare.

It is in the old town, near to all the main attractions. The room we had was large with an outdoor sitting area. The common areas of the hotel are very nicely appointed. The wine and nibbles (free of charge) before going out to dinner is a particularly nice touch. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but there are plenty of good ones within an easy walk. Nothing.

The owner’s attention to detail is impeccable; hotel staff couldn’t be better. My only very minor criticism is breakfast buffet could include eggs and yogurt. Otherwise just outstanding!

Very authentic Puglia architecture, in an old Plazzo; thus, the name. The staff bent over backwards for us bring up a very late night salad and Burrata when we got in at 1am in the morning,breakfast was outstanding. They drove us over to where our Duvine guides were picking us up. I wish we had a longer stay but highly recommend it.

La posizione è perfetta: nel cuore del centro storico di Lecce, a pochi passi da tutto, ma al tempo stesso in una zona tranquilla che garantisce riposo e privacy. Le camere sono meravigliose: spaziose, curate in ogni dettaglio, con arredi ricercati e comfort di altissimo livello. Un vero rifugio di bellezza e relax. La colazione è stata una delle sorprese più piacevoli: ricca, varia, con prodotti freschissimi e di qualità. Dai dolci fatti in casa alle opzioni salate, tutto era presentato con cura e servito in un ambiente rilassante e bellissimo. Il vero punto di forza, però, è il personale: attento, premuroso e sempre sorridente. Mi sono sentita accolta con una gentilezza autentica e rara. Un grazie speciale va a Matteo che, nonostante la sua giovane età, è stato di una gentilezza e una professionalità davvero sorprendenti. In poche parole: un’esperienza fantastica, sotto ogni punto di vista. Credo davvero che questo sia il boutique hotel più bello in cui io sia mai stata. Non vedo l’ora di tornare!

We received a welcome gift and a local wine, which was very nice. The rooms are quiet and cold, which is awesome when there are over 30 degrees outside. For breakfast, there are multiple options for egg preparation, and the day we were there, they had a nice warm pastry for the dessert :) There could be some vegetables for the breakfast and some jamm/sauce for the pancakes. Other than that it was all great!

The Restaurants that they suggested were excellent and all within walking distance. The Place suggested a spa. We had a couples massage with Claudia and Enza. This is one of the best massages we have ever experienced. Thank you Ladies. Claudia and Enza are very professional and kind. The Spa is amazing. We also met the owners of the Palace and had a very nice conversation. It was a pleasure to meet them. A shout out for Alfonso which is a very special person. - Emily (10/5): - Without doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The Palazzo is stunning and Alfonso, Francesca, Matteo and all the staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was exemplary. From the moment of arrival with a welcome cool towel and fresh juice to collecting our car from the car park and packing it for us, they made us feel very special and welcome. I was even given a delicious piece of still warm chocolate cake whilst sitting reading my book. Perfecto! The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and everything to see and do is walkable from the hotel. We can’t recommend it highly enough. We loved every second of our stay there.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcomed — warm, kind, and attentive to every detail. We spent a few days here celebrating our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The level of service and care was beyond anything we expected. It honestly felt like staying in a fairytale castle! The team gave us amazing local recommendations and even took care of booking our beach day at Togo Bay, which was such a highlight of our trip. We can’t thank them enough for making our honeymoon so memorable. We’ll be dreaming of this place for a long time, and can’t wait to come back!

- Irene (10/5): - Unique property, former convent. Only 17 rooms with the picturesque courtyard in the middle. Huge dining room with long comment table for breakfast or dinner. Breakfast has lots of options, however, eggs are always overcooked, even when specified not to cook them too much. Rooms are interesting With windows at the top that shed very little light, a bit cavernous, which makes it unique. If you’re claustrophobic, you may need to ask for rooms with actual windows and sunlight. One negative is shower was open and splashed water all over the bathroom floor. The front desk staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and always there for advice, reservations, and anything else that’s needed. Fletcher itself is cute to visit for a few nights. It’s inland so during the day it’s very very hot and almost unbearable to walk. All the shops and Man restaurants are closed from 1 PM till five or six in the evening When they reopen for dinner. Hotel is located inside city walls with limited car traffic. We opted for valet hotel parking for €30 a night, which is miney well spent since you avoid hassle of finding your own spot.
