• Austreberto (9/5): Fue una estancia agradable en un pueblo con gente amable, honesta y servicial. - La dueña del hotel nos proporcionó todo el apoyo que necesitábamos. El hotel tiene su propio parking, lo cual en la actualidad es un servicio necesario.
• Rocio (10/5): Hotel con encanto. - El edificio es una joya. Al cruzar el umbral de la puerta sientes que estás en un hotel especial. La ubicación es inmejorable, al lado del puerto y de la basílica. Y a pesar de estar en el centro, no se escuchaba el ruido de la calle. La información que nos facilitaron durante la recepción nos sirvió para poder disfrutar Lekeitio casi como un ciudadano más.

• Petrouschka (6/5): Ok experience but rather expensive for what you got. - It is very central, right in the middle of town. The beach is near by and there are plenty of bars and restaurants near by. The beds were not comfortable, they were very hard- not making for a good night sleep. I also wish there had been a comfortable sitting area in the lobby to read but instead there was a vending machine. An extra pillow or two on the bed would have helped. I did ask for a fan to get some airflow in the room as having the window open wasn’t always possible with the noise. A kettle and coffee/water in the room would also have helped.

• Ursula (8/5): A charming, character filled hotel in central Lekeitio.. - We had a wonderful welcome from the manager, Maria Isabel Arrinda Sanchez, who could not have been more helpful. She also gave great recommendations on places to visit nearby.

• Jane (10/5): Characterful hotel in fantastic historic location full of of basque culture - Room , view on to square, near harbour and cafes . Interesting town . May be noisey ( local bars) on Fri sat nights if you want early night. But all good hummored
• Juliette (8/5): Superb location in a beautiful seaside town that feels untouched by modern tourism. - Lekeitio is an absolutely beautiful place and staying in the hotel with views of the Basílica de la Asunción de María from our window in a 500 year old beautiful building felt like a privilege. The staff were fantastic and we will be back without a doubt. The lighting in the rooms could be better but it's a very small thing.

• Claire (9/5): Fantastic stay in authentic Spanish seaside haven - Historic building in superb location, overlooking the main square and very close to the beach, restaurants and harbour. Nice views over the church. Breakfast not available in hotel, but very close by is a cafe/kiosk with amazing views over the beach and the town. The tortuous drive through the hills is not for everyone. Parking (outside town) should have been explained. Although you can drop off bags outside hotel.

We had a very nice view of the old center and the - It’s a 17th century building in a historic area with superb view. The bed is comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The lady at he reception went out of her way to tell us what we shoul check out and where to eat. We could hear a bit our neighbors walking around and there was no brush to clean the toilet with.

• Evelyn (9/5): Lovely old hotel with plenty of character - Lovely old hotel with plenty of character in the centre of town, easy to find and with lovely views from the little balcony. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay in a beautiful little town, well worth a visit.

Unfriendly arrival and departure hours on Booking.Coms website.However lovely receptionist checked us in early. Better property directions would help. Google map struggled so was difficult to find.. with rental car.
• Anne (8/5): A friendly welcome in a beautiful historic hotel - The hotel is in a beautiful historic building. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with views towards the harbour. The owner is delightful- very welcoming and helpful. We were there in a Saturday night and the owner warned us that it would be noisy because people are drinking and partying outside until the early hours. It didn’t disturb us too much but light sleepers should perhaps bring ear plugs!

• Nicholas (8/5): Very good - The hotel itself is well located but arriving by car is complicated. It was an easy walk to the port and beach. The owner was very friendly and helped with the car parking in a local lock-up garage. Not being Spanish speakers - our fault, not the hotel’s! - made any communication in the town extremely difficult.

• Johndutch (9/5): Such a nice and friendly place, with amazing view on the town square - The service from the girl at the reception was amazing. She was extremely friendly, explaining everything about the small town and she immediately made us feel at home. We had a room with a french balcony facing the town square which was amazing. The explanation on how to reach the hotel could be clearer given the fact that the city center area where the hotel is located was closed for cars
