- Gavin (9/5): Excellent stay - Room was modern and clean. Ample space . Excellent breakfast
- Olga (10/5): Very caring and attentive staff. The lady preparing the breakfasts is wonderful — she cooks with heart and genuine care -

- A (4/5): - The room didn't have heating, intercom or a comfortable table. The service and breakfast delivery was a Disaster. The management didn't know the difference between service delivery in South East Asia and modern day Wales. Staff was an old woman who clearly didn't understand what customers want.
Breakfast took over 30 minutes to be ready and the menu was miserable.
- Pamela McEwan (9/5): - Clean comfortable room. Great shower. Quiet even though on main road. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.
- Garry (8/5): -
- Brian (10/5): - Nice breakfast in the morning and parking 👌
- Mason (8/5): -
- James (9/5): Lovely clean accommodation - Very clean property, lovely bathroom The light outside the bedroom was on all night which made the room very bright. The blinds didn’t keep the light out
- Pamela McEwan (9/5): Clean comfy hotel - Clean, comfortable room. Excellent shower. Good breakfast for the money. Friendly helpful staff. Can be difficult to park later in the evening.
- Michael (7/5): - Room not bad biscuits were a nice touch with the tea & coffee. We sat for breakfast and had to wait over half an hour to be told 5 mins. 3/4 of an hr later took our order. Then received tea & coffee & toast barely done. Felt embarrassed sat waiting without an offer of a drink.

- 5677 (7/5): - The room is ok and good selections of little refreshment of teas and coffees including selections of biscuits! The staff here is kinda helpful! The shower is ok but only issue is that the door wouldn't shut properly resulting some floods coming out!

- Philip (8/5): - Clean and up to date . Friendly staff. English breakfast had processed vegan bacon and sausage. I do understand the non pork issue. .but I prefer the real thing.

- Laura (8/5): - Very comfortable and clean. Owners pleasant.
- James (7/5): Great value for what it is - Room is nicely decorated and modern, great value Shower is pretty poor bathroom definitely need some TLC
- martin (4/5): - Breakfast was very good Had to change room at 10pm due to leak from room above
- Rodney (6/5): - The place is good value for money. It is easy to find. The place was clean. The breakfast was good. The property is next to the railway tracks and you can feel the vibrations at night when trains are moving. The toilet seat need to be changed at top floor family room we occupied.
- Julius (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay. The room was amazing and even better than it looks online. I also enjoyed the short walk to th - Good location and very close to the city centre
- Sofia (10/5): - Nice staff polite , clean , good room space
- Qureshi (8/5): - Rooms were clean and tidy. And breakfast was also hot and had enough variety. I think the pics on booking.com are old, actually the property has been renovated completely and has a very modern look to it, quite opposite to the pictures here.
- Adamz (7/5): -
- Oluwaseun (9/5): - Very clean room
- Danut (10/5): -
- S Multani (9/5): - The breakfast arrived quickly, hot and ready to eat. Delicious as always. The noise at night was a bit much. The hotel has little control over that though.
- A (4/5): - Good size room. Clean. Powerfully heaters. Very nice staff. Damaged blinders. Very noisy area. Poor noise insulation. Bed shaking when trucks or buses driving by.
- Sophie (9/5): decent accommodation well fitted out - the room was clean , very well equipped, still like to have reception staff on site , The lady did come to open up quite quickly , was very nice and polite
- Ihor (10/5): - Everything was perfect
- Craig (4/5): - Helpful at check-in, comfortable room. Good shower We left something in the room. Phoned the day after check out to see if it had been picked up. Not very helpful, I don't know if the item was found but we never recieved any notification they had. Very unfortunate as it was a decent room for the price at we would otherwise happily of used it when we visit newport
- Edwards (6/5): - Room had a microwave and fridge The venition blinds need to be replaced as they were knackered. The room to be unfinished with wires cut and left tied up.
Had to wait 15 mins to check in even though I had advised them I would be there at specific time.
- Thomas (10/5): - Well presented room. Clean and comfortable. Couldn't find a hairdryer
- Emma (8/5): Lovely, comfortable and friendly staff - Clean and comfortable and lovely staff Very close to a loud road and street light
- Ellingham (7/5): Good value - Very good value for money Nothing in particular
- John (8/5): very nice thank you - Breakfast was great staff great location great
- S Multani (10/5): Short stay - The room was lovely and clean.
- Jane (10/5): - Small single room had everthing I needed for a one night stay, close to town center and the Corn Exchange venue.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Gary (8/5): Homely, comfortable and good value for money. - The lady on reception who checked me in and the lady who served my breakfast were Extremely nice and polite. The breakfast was beautiful and my room (number 2) was quiet and comfortable. It also had a mini fridge and a microwave which was an added bonus. I was very happy with my stay.
- Haddon (1/5): -
- Cameron (6/5): Value for money - The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff were fine. It was close to Newport and was a 10-minute walk to the town centre. I could also park directly outside. The breakfast was a little below par; I had a very, very runny porridge. The shower also filled up really quickly when washing. I also arrived when I said I would but the establishment was locked up and had to call to get someone to check me in.
- Abdul (9/5): -
- Diane (9/5): Our base for onward travel to the Cardiff half marathon was just right. - Very good breakfast, location was just right, easy walking distance from the railway station. Rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean. Not used to outside lights being on all night.
- Neil (2/5): Did not asleep well due to what i have already said. - Location for where my meeting was the next day. I had a single bed under a window. The window was so old it had a draft, and very noisy . Blinds not good enough as let to much light
- Ayesha (7/5): - I was sceptical to book here after reading the reviews but it was too late to cancel HOWEVER when I did arrive I was impressed with how modernised the place was. Rooms were clean, and breakfast was delicious. The price was reasonable so happy overall. Too much noise at front top bedroom due to main road traffic. But not the hotel's fault
- Heather (1/5): The one and only thing going for this place was the lovely staff that served breakfast - nothing except for parking outside, i thought the property next door was where i would have been staying which was dreadful state big boards covering doorways etc Wires sticking out of walls not finished, dirty bathroom, dirt engrained in tiles and doors in shower cubicle, hair on floor etc
Banging of van doors from 12 - 3pm going coming back then what i guess the very loud sound of power washing. Headlights shining into room and engines left running all equating to NO SLEEP which was my sole reason for being there!
The one and only good thing was the lovely ladies serving breakfast nothing was too much trouble, just lovely people.
- Denise (1/5): Nie wieder!
- Philip (7/5): Staff where friendly, the breakfast was well cooked and the girl serving and waiting on was very pleasant and helpful - Very quite. Room was really warm. Cosy and tidy Looked a little un finished electrical cables taped up everywhere. The shower wasn’t fixed to the wall properly
- Amugoda (8/5): Good place for a short stay - Friendly staff
- John (8/5): Very happy with my stay and i would stay again - Staff were freindly, breakfast good, room good, overall very happy with my stay. room was abit cold but not bad, shower was abit weak
- Amanda (1/5): No breakfast served - The room was clean. Rough area with fights outside hotel. Price included breakfast but the breakfast room was in darkness in the morning. A man came out of the office, made a gesture to say no and went back without apology or explanation.
- Tolu (10/5): -
- Keith (6/5): -
- ELIO (8/5): Discreto soggiorno in zona tranquilla - Stanza grande, luogo silenzioso.
- Edmond (9/5): -
- Bernard (8/5): -
- Margherita (5/5): If you had nowhere to stay. -
- Karen (10/5): - Very near to town centre - lovely choice of breakfast.
New rooms (very clean and modern) had been built at back of hotel which enabled you to park your car next to your room.
Lovely and quiet at back of hotel so had a good night's sleep. Everything lovely
- Christian (8/5): -
- João (1/5): -
- David (8/5): Great value, ideal for what I wanted. - Close to train station. Larger room than expected. Good breakfast. Nice & quiet. The only thing was when I arrived the door was locked & no one on reception. But a phone call soon sorted it out.
- Beverley (7/5): - Beds and pillows was hard and breakfast was very poor Beds and pillows hard bath mat in bathroom should be put up and not on floor to trip over, as I did I'm disabled and use a stick.
Breakfast was very poor
- Anthoney (10/5): -
- Chris (5/5): -
- Philip (7/5): -
- James (9/5): -
- Jacquline (10/5): Value for money - Well situated not far from central town Nothing to complain about.
- Andrea (7/5): Ideal für Kurzaufenthalte in Newport, mit gutem Anschluss an Cardiff - - Großes Zimmer
- Bequeme Betten
- Reichhaltiges Frühstück
- freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal
- 15 Min.
- Uyovbisere (7/5): Delightful - I liked the ambience, the swift respond of the staff and the fact that the room came with a complementary breakfast. I didn’t like the fact that toilet seat looked old. I also didn’t like the fact that the kitchen didn’t have enough supplies for breakfast in the menu.
- TRO (10/5): -
- James (7/5): Great value for a short stay. - Very friendly staff, had to call on arrival as the entrance was a little unclear in the dark, front desk answered and helped me in. Lovely cooked breakfast 07:00 - 08:30 with friendly service in the morning. Tea/coffee-making facilities in room. Great value. Head of bed was positioned below an old window, even with it shut there was a chill/breeze during the night. Sheets had several stains and carpet not in great condition, bathroom was clean. Front desk was often empty, had to give keys to kitchen during checkout.
- Susan (7/5): - Poor communication with the hotel. I tried many times to contact them the day before our stay and on the morning of our stay. When someone did eventually pick the phone up, they told me to call again later
- Muhannad (5/5): You do not see admin team much, residents near me very noisy but I could not report as I could not find the admin team, - Clean, warm Plumbing not working, basin drainage blocked, shower mixer not working
- Alex (9/5): My stay was very comfortable and I felt safe. - Very clean and staff were lovely. N/A
- Warren (8/5): -
- Brandon (8/5): -
- Danut (10/5): -
- Craig (8/5): -
- Michael (8/5): Cheap no frills, bed and breakfast hotel great for functional stays. - Great value for money, has been refurbished so the photos are outdated but the look is modern and clean. There’s a few issues with the standard of the refurbishment that should have been addressed, like wood filler in chipped skirting boards and door frames but the value for money here you don’t expect perfection.
- ALAN (8/5): - Functional and clean Bed was far too soft and noise from main road
- David Davies (9/5): -
- Aaron (10/5): Recommended - Very clean, no road noise, shower is lovely Nothing I can think of
- ANNE (4/5): - Proximity to center Check in was 15:00 but there was no one there until 16:00. The room looks nothing like the photos. Shower had mildew. Looks like there was a leak at one of the windows as plaster was missing .Nobody available when leaving to check out.
- Simon (2/5): Comfortable and modern bedroom but street noise kept me up all night. Won’t stay there again - Bed was comfortable, bedroom was well decorated and modern. Good bathroom and on-site parking was helpful It’s on a busy road and the windows do nothing to keep the sound out. I barely slept the night I stayed there. They had blinds instead of curtains and they didn’t keep out the light at all. At breakfast I asked for non dairy milk as I am vegan and lactose intolerant. They had nothing. First hotel I’ve been to in 8 years as a vegan that didnt have soya or oat milk
