- robertoA8927BQ (10/5): Great apartment in an ideal location - We stayed in an apartment. Very comfortable. Easy assigned parking. Was cool despite no air con and very hot temperatures. Good basic adequate kitchen. The hotel also does drinks and breakfast. Poo de Llanes is a great small town to wander around. And it has the lagoon, which is great for swimming. We have taken our children there many times in the past. Good for birds, butterflies, and reptiles. We rented bicycles from the surf school nearby and cycled along the camino and the coast path to more beaches and towns. Llanes is an easy walk away, a bigger and busier town. We drove the other way to Ribadesella, a classy seaside town.
No tenía terraza.
- Richard (9/5): Ideal for a short break - Well positioned place to stay with friendly staff/owners. The local beach is just a few minutes walk, and there are local places to eat. Llanes is just a few minutes drive and is well worth spending the day.
- Andres (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (9/5): Only one night but would have preferred two! - Breakfast was nice
Room was good.
Bed very comfortable.

- Garazi (8/5): Very good -
- Martsje (10/5): Amazing - Very friendly staff, all of them. Everything is really clean, the beds are huge and very comfortable. Bathroom rather big.
Poó is small, but there are some nice restaurants. The picos de europa are near, still you can go to the beach by foot. The breakfast is a little basic, the quality is good though.
- Joe (10/5): Great spot! - Great spot! Lovely staff, facilities, and a great breakfast.
Well located to the beautiful surrounding beaches too!
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable. God location. Nice breakfast. Nothing.
- Rodney (9/5): Excellent location for LLanes and the picos - A good selection for breakfast. The owners are very friendly. Good wifi. Limited selection for evening meal nearby

Also 20 minute walk to local beaches and cliff path.

- isabelle8410 (10/5): I definitely recommend:-) - I was very satisfied during my stay. I couldn´t have chosen better.Room was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff was so welcoming and cheerful, ready to help you or explain everything about your possibilities of trips or places to visit. I definitely recommend, try also with breakfast, very good.
- Stephen (10/5): Highly recommend - Stayed for 2 nights and extremely happy from check in until we left. Easy to find and only a 20 min walk into town. The room was clean, spacious and the shower was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The lady on reception was very friendly and so helpful in guiding us about the great points of jnterest nearby. Would highly recommend staying here.
- Janbirk (10/5): Great attention to client happiness - Clean, newly remodeled rooms, nice bathroom. the owner gives cheerful attention to each client's satisfaction. She was so helpful with directions and the best places to eat. My room included breakfast.
Short walk to the beach and spectacular coastal Camino Norte walk.
- Royberny (10/5): Brilliant Customer Service - Nice Place - A good test of how well a hotel is run is what happens when you need assistance. El Camin passed with flying colours.
We, err, I lost the keys, playing in the shallow water at the nearby beach with my daughter. No problem - Sorted. And then, unbelievably, the keys were found in the sand by a kind soul and handed back!
There was a slightly blocked drain from the bath. No problem - Fixed.
Accidentally left the laptop in the wardrobe and checked out, traveled to a village on the other side of Spain before remembering. Doh! Head in hands moment. No problem - laptop found, packed up and sent by express post the following day. Saved!
The couple that run the hotel are clearly giving their all. Helpful and friendly, they have upgraded and improved the previously existing hotel with new apartments, fixtures and fittings. But apart from that, the room was secure, quiet and comfortable for my family.
And the location, well, it almost can't be beat. Nice shortish, less than 300m, walk, via a picturesque cliffside path to the excellent Poo de Llanes beach. Shallow, intermittently warm kids swimming pool at high tide and bouncy, bracing waves at low tide, it is a great, clean family beach. Very atmospheric, especially when it's quiet in the early mornings or evenings. This is one of my favourite places on the Asturian coastline, even when the weather sometimes isn't the best.
Llanes, a stylish fishing village, if there is such a thing, is a mere 10 minute hop down the road, but Poo de Llanes is a very nice village itself, with a laid back vibe, verdant lanes and flower covered houses. The hotel has a pleasant bar or there are a few decent Spanish restaurants just over the road and if you don't want to go out you can always prepare food in your own modern kitchenette, like we did, in one of the apartment rooms at the rear of the hotel. Poo de Llanes is also a highly convenient base to explore the rest of Asturias and the nearby region of Cantabria.
All in all, we really like Poo. And err, it has a top name to boot. We've been coming here on and off for a few years now and this visit was one of the best.
- elisabeth-nick (8/5): A small and welcoming hotel with comfortable rooms - The young couple who run this hotel could not be more helpful and welcoming. Their enthusiasm for the beautiful are of Asturia is infectious and they gave us very good advice. The hotel is in the small town of Poo de Llanes which is an excellent locations for exploring the beaches, mountains and coastal paths. The restaurant at the local cider house (one minute away) was so good we went there 3 times. The local beach is beautiful and just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Llanes itself is a very short drive, and you could easily cycle or walk. The bedroom was comfortable and very clean. Wifi excellent, parking, and a bar with lovely outdoor seating. Breakfast is served and offers all that you might want.
- 489dennisp (10/5): Excellent stay close to the beach - Nice room at good value, good breakfast and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
We were there a bit off-season, but there was still flexibility in breakfast time, and the area was nice and quiet. We even saw a big school of Dolphins close to the coast!
- Leafwarbler (8/5): Lovely people, nice stay - Stayed for a couple of nights as part of a Spanish road trip. Very obliging hosts, breakfast was fine, location close to the beach, nice to sit in the courtyard with a good glass of rioja in the evening.
Our room was at the front of the hotel on the first floor. It was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The main road can be quite busy; if the traffic noise disturbs you, ask for a room at the back.
- martinsY2345EI (10/5): Lucky find - I stumbled upon this lovely, well run hotel by chance whilst motorcycle touring. The young couple who run the hotel were delightful, with a great eye for detail and a natural flair for customer service. The room itself was very comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The mattress on my bed was of excellent quality. It was also very good value for money in comparison with other hotels I stayed in whilst on my trip. I truly felt well cared for during my stay. Highly recommended!
- rocky_359 (10/5): Friendly & Spotless Hotel close to Beach - We stayed here for one night during a week touring around Cantabria and Asturias. The hotel is on the road through Poo, a little village minutes outside Llanes. We were glad we chose to stay here rather than in Llanes itself. The hotel is gorgeous and everything is spotlessly clean throughout. It has a small dining area for breakfast which turns into a bar area in the evening which is nice and very good value. There is a beautiful seating area in the courtyard, again spotless and the furniture is all practically brand new with nice big parasols if you wish to get some shade but still enjoy a drink outside in the fresh air.
We paid a little extra for a superior room, which was on the top floor and had lovely views over the hills. The room also had a large skylight above the bed that was a nice touch. Breakfast was included in our room and was very nice, including freshly squeezed orange juice.
We did not see the other rooms but I imagine they are all of a similar high quality. They also have some apartments at the rear of the main building. Parking is free and you are a short walk from a stunning beach mostly frequented by local people. We spent the day here and went for a very refreshing swim in the sea!
Our hosts were so friendly and helpful during our stay and even took the time to recommend other places to visit on the remainder of our trip.
Highly recommended.
- rob1159 (8/5): late night stop - Planned to camp near Llanes but due to spending too much time in Picos was too dark and late to get a site. Stumbled upon this small but recently renovated hotel and was not disappointed. Diego and Lara? couldn't have been more helpful. Great room and comfortable beds. For 61 euros for both of us including a very good continental breakfast we were more than impressed and will definitely use again if in the area.
