- Daniele (6/5): - Hotel was fine but very tired and in need of updating and renovation. On the surface the rooms had been decorated in a relatively modern style but the bathroom had paint falling off the ceiling because of damp. No hooks for a bath towel, and a shower head attached to the bath but nowhere to hang it and no shower screen so had to sit in bath to use it. Couldn’t have washed my hair in the room. Staff were polite and friendly and parking was easy. Breakfast was fine omelette very nice but have had better buffets other places. Felt expensive for what we got.

- Jolie (10/5): 1st Anniversary - I decided to bring my partner here for our first anniversary and the hotel just went above and beyond! Throughout the booking they kept in contact with me to ensure we all knew exactly what was happening, as I asked them to do the room up for us and add some prosecco! We had a 2 and a half hour drive down to Nefyn and before we left I had a text message from Gwawr, she asked if I had an ETA so that they could put the prosecco in the room just before our arrival to ensure it stayed cold! When we checked in Sally was a great help with us ensuring we had all the information needed! We booked in for dinner at 6:00pm and the meal was just lovely! The portions were bigger than expected but it was incredible value for money and just gorgeous food! Upon check out Gwawr was absolutely amazing, ensuring everything had gone as smoothly as possible! Overall, it was made a very personal stay for us and the hotel was beautiful, the room was lovely, anything needed was at most a couple of minute walk away! The rooms were incredible and they even upgraded us to celebrate our anniversary which was just amazing of them! It was a quiet weekend for us which I would say helped make it that bit more personal! We would without a doubt come back! We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody within a heartbeat!
- MARTIN (10/5): Splendid quality hotel - very well looked after hotel in a lovely part of North Wales and really near the coast path. Good breakfasts, excellent restaurant in the evening and comfortable rooms and all with very pleasant staff.
- Sulan (4/5): - Position for our purpose . Breakfast was below par. The room is not serviced which is not a huge issue but for the cost we expected more . Room was cold when we arrived and took a while to warm up. Fitting in the bathroom is badly fitted and shower was weak.

The food was great, well cooked and tasty.I personally found the decor rather plain and the frayed dirty stair carpet somewhat detracted from an otherwise pleasant guest experience. As a single woman staying I didn’t feel comfortable sitting at my breakfast table with my room number on. Nevertheless it is a great place to stay and I would definitely recommend it.

My breakfast on the first morning was lukewarm, so I had to ask for it to be warmed up and then it was fine. The breakfast other mornings were nice and hot. A good experience overall and staff were nice and friendly. I would recommend it.

Small double room on second floor (no lift) and the bathroom was under the eaves. Basically there was a bath with a shower hose. Unable to stand in bath as ceiling too low. Had to crouch to reach taps and shower hose useless due to ceiling height. Charged at same price as other rooms.

We were pleased with our room as it was warm and comfortable and also our breakfast was very good. Our only criticism would be that there was what sounded like a fan or air conditioning unit somewhere near our room and this disturbed our sleep a little. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would return.

The Nanhoron Arms was a haven of rest after a long trip from the U.S. Nefyn is a picturesque seaside town with a lovely beach and great walks along the Coastal Path, well worth a visit, and I look forward to staying there again.

- keith (10/5): Fabulous location, comfy stay - Stayed with a group of friends on a golfing weekend. All staff most helpful and friendly. Both evening meals and breakfast were excellent. Down side lounge bar closed early probably due to small amount of guests staying .You can however use sports bar, but young locals playing loud music is not recommended for families.

When they eventually came I would describe the service as very ordinary. Making me feel it was a chore for her to check me in. Otherwise very good value for the money.

- Andrew (8/5): A nice hotel in a lovely part of Cymru. - The hotel is handily situated in a lovely part of Cymru with friendly staff. It has a separate sports bar with food and local Cwrw Llŷn beers among others (but if there is a big game on be sure to book a table in advance). Quite a lot of parking. My room was a single but comfy for my one night stay. I’d be more than happy to stay there again.
- James (10/5): Great place to stay. - The stand-out feature of my stay was the friendly, efficient service. All the staff from the reception, to the bar to the dining room were excellent. The hotel was comfortable, the room had a better standard of TV than in a lot of hotels, and the location was generally quiet. An excellent hotel for a base to explore the region. Good to see the hotel using a local company to supply the sugar and coffee in the room, and to see them stocking local beers. Parking was plentiful, onsite and free.
- Simon (10/5): - We took a 4 x4 + Horse trailer, there was plenty of room to park. If we could not have parked in carpark we were offered additional parking on a grass field within the Hotel grounds. Limited staff due to Colvid, but helped with all our requests.
- Helen (10/5): Pleasent stay - The hot water didn't become hot after running got some time. Wanting a bath or shower yet the water was only luke warm. Speaking to the staff they expected that the heating system boilers will be getting changed. Very plesent stay over all.

Downstairs area had been refurbished and was nice and clean but rooms were small and dated and didn't have a proper shower only a hand held! Won't stay again until rooms have been refurbished as it is the perfect base for exploring the area and chatting to genuine locals in Welsh ☺️

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel base for walking Lleyn Peninsula - Excellent base for walking the Lleyn Peninsula. Stayed 5 nights and will return to continue my walking of the coast path. Good 3* hotel at reasonable price with adequate parking. Near the beach and a handy general store is just 200m away. Only negatives were : Music choice when dining was not relaxing. Food: ok but: fried onions on top of salmon steak seemed inappropriate and too much use of red cabbage as a vegetable.
