- Corine (10/5): Fijne plek, rust in het drukke Delhi - De rustige plek, het terras en de vriendelijkheid van de medewerkers Niets

- Piyush (10/5): A home away from home !! - So happy to have found this place.
Everything was great. Our host Amrita and all the staff were really helpful, friendly and wonderful.
- Andrew (10/5): A lovely home from home in Delhi - Everything. Everyone was so helpful and nice. The gardens were perfect and it felt like home. Everything was good.
- Sonia (3/5): - Rien
- Mark Bishop (4/5): Best avoided! - Amrita was initially friendly, helping me to buy food from Blinkit, kindly arranged evening meals and clothes laundry.
Kapil the chef provide nice, enjoyable food.
Nikki the maid was friendly and cheerful.
Rita the grandmother was friendly and nice to talk to. Beware, the owner short changed my refund!
I asked to cancel my second week at the property, Amrita refused to cancel my booking advising me that "I can't do any modifications from my side", that was untrue, as the owner she absolutely can modify bookings . I eventually managed to get a cash refund, but this was ₹7,290 less than it should have been, I had to accept this at the time as I had health issues, was in a foreign country and just wanted to move on from this place. Since arriving home I have patiently and politely corresponded with Amrita by email and WhatsApp giving her every chance to rectify the underpayment, unfortunately she has chosen to continue to make up further untruths re why she couldn't cancel my booking. Whilst disappointing this has been a reminder that not everyone lives by truth; ironically there several statues of Buddha and other deity's on display at the property, but these clearly do not guarantee the character of the people living there!
The garden room - near gates - desperately needs renovating and a good clean, its very dated and smells dank! The fridge is dirty, very dodgy electric sockets, rusty old bathroom fittings, dirty lights, there's a gap under the door where large ants get in, shutters don't close etc.
- M. Sarief (10/5): Relax stay but when it's cold ask directly to activate the heating.
- Penelope (10/5): A lovely quiet place to stay. - The Stay Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast hotel in a quiet location with a lovely garden, full or birds, flowers and trees with plenty of places to sit outside and relax. I enjoyed being able to paint.
You would need transport as it is not central enough to walk to restaurants etc. We did not find it a problem and enjoyed the ambience of the hotel, a respite from the busy city life.
The hosts were very pleasant and informative; the food was delicious, freshly cooked. We ate at the hotel in the evening, which was ideal. Our room was very good with its own sitting room. The bed was very comfortable.
We loved Delhi, full of young people and vibrancy. We would recommend the Khan market and the Lodhi district with its market and gardens. We ate at the Crafts museum - brilliant food - and at Organic Bistro in the Kham market- a fusion of Lebanese and Indian food; highly recommended.
We would return. Everything was fine
- Judit (10/5): Cosy, peaceful home in the heart of Delhi - I really loved the calm and peaceful area, the green surrounding and the cosy athmosphere. The room was more than perfect, clean and neat. The home-made dinner and the breakfast was fresh, delicious in a beautiful dining-room. I liked especially the green roof-top garden. The hotel is in a residential area with almost no traffic.
- SANJAY (10/5): - We have stayed twice at the Stay Inn (3 nights & 5 nights). Very pleased. Deluxe Rooms are clean, comfortable with a lovely old world charm, gardens and greenery all around. Safe and personal.
Staff is outstanding (family retainers, been with the family for decade or more), polite and attentive. Delicous breakfast and dinners - home cooked, flavourful, prepared to perfection).
Amrita is an excellent and caring host.
Excellent value for money.
As mentioned in some reviews, recommend arranging transportation with hosts or drivers who personally know and are familiar with traffic, layout of Sainik farms.
- Mini Me (6/5): Old but Beautiful place to stay, peaceful location, well maintained garden. Not for stay during Rains - Food was excellent. Beautiful ambience. Great staff. Spacious room 1. Wi-Fi connectivity and phone signals were very bad inside Rooms. Worked only when we stepped outside.
2. Rooms & amenities are old - door doesn't open more than 30% as being very old wooden door, its had swollen up
3. Toilet fittings including flush were old and not latest -bit of discomfort; window of washroom doesn't close fully and hasn't been cleaned in ages was all covered with cobwebs
4. It was raining and due to old wiring & electrical fittings there was sparking and short circuit in the corridor and so had to call the security around 1 AM and inform him as it seemed a bit safety hazard (had it caught fire) .
5. Beautiful location, peaceful stay, well maintained lush green gardens. But once its started to rain, the roads outside were water clogged with over 6 inches water.
- Mini (8/5): Beautiful surroundings. Chique interiors in Rooms - The ambience and beauty 1. No intercom facility or Room service - very difficult to contact for any service
2. The network and connectivity is very poor inside Rooms
3. Washrooms fittings and amenities are pretty old style
- Madhav (10/5): - Very nice peaceful atmosphere, perfect respite from the chaos of India
- Anton (10/5): It was the perfect end to my 2-month trip to India. - I felt very comfortable. That was in early May 2025. The hostess, Amrita, was very friendly and helpful. The room, almost a suite, was beautifully furnished and very clean. The bed had a comfortable mattress and tasteful linens. The shower/toilet area was equipped with high-quality fixtures. The air conditioning was also high-quality, efficient, and quiet.
The villa is indeed a bit far from restaurants, but that's no problem at all. Since I was only there for one night, I asked if I could eat there. I was not disappointed. The vegetarian food was varied and exceptionally good, served on beautiful dishes in an atmosphere that only a first-class establishment could offer.
For the journey there, I paid 450 Rupees for a prepaid taxi from Terminal 1. The return trip with Uber was even slightly cheaper.
- Vinod (10/5): Like staying at home. - Breakfast was good.
They made the lunch as per my liking.
My room was upgraded and there was a sitting room. It felt like staying at home.
They booked a taxi for sight seeing and airport drop off at a very good price. I would recommend having m

- Sudha (9/5): Nice place to stay with family for a day - It was nice farm house stay . Staff were courteous , breakfast given was good as well ( aloo paratha , omelette ( customized ) and toasted bread fruits . TV in one of room was not working however it was fixed when it was highlighted.
- Jackson (10/5): Exceptional - All the staff at the Stay Inn were warm and welcoming. The two nights stay was excellent and I would highly recommend for a quiet part of Delhi/South Delhi as a tourist to India. Thank you so much! :) Nothing.
- Abhishek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mudit (1/5): pathetic - Pathetic location, very very narrow approach road leading to traffic congestion most of the time. The property is very old. The wash basin has multiple cracks. There was scaling on the CP fittings. The towels were in a terrible state, showing clear signs of extensive use. Just one or two more washes would likely cause them to tear apart.
- Kevin (10/5): Above and beyond! - The hospitality extended to us by Amrita and her staff has been exceptional. We arrived in the morning ahead of check in time and were offered tea and given a room to rest after our flight until our room was ready. That was just the beginning of the excellent service we experienced at the Stay Inn.
I am not sure how we would have 'done' Delhi in 48hrs without Amrita's help. She kindly arranged a taxi on each day to take us around all the key sites providing a full itinerary for the day and ensuring the drivers stayed with us throughout, even whilst we had our dinner in the evening! If anything wasn't quite going according to plan she was on hand via the phone to communicate with our drivers. We really appreciated the lengths Amrita went to to make our two days in Delhi so memorable. I can't recommend The Stay Inn highly enough, thank you!
- Wasser (8/5): Overall stay was very pleasant. - Pleasant staff & service TV & fridge needs improvement
- Liam (10/5): A tranquil and welcoming retreat - The Stay Inn felt like an oasis amidst the chaos of Delhi. I especially loved the gardens and the room was very homely. I appreciated the small touches, like leaving the bedside lamp on to create an inviting environment for my arrival home. The breakfast was tasty, the staff were helpful, and Amrita was a kind and considerate host. Highly recommend!
- Julia (8/5): Very good -
- Pavini (10/5): Exceptional - Amrita is an amazing host, the place is gorgeous.
- Irfan (9/5): Enjoyed my stay. Would visit again when in Delhi. - Excellent location. Homely comfort.
- Sood (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (6/5): - If you have a rental car or want to truly get away from the world this place may work. If you like me who likes to walk and discover then the nearest anything is a mile away. Plus turning on a knob 30 min before showers is inconvenient. I left within three hours for better accommodations closer in the city. Maybe a bad booking location on my part, but the place did not do it for me.
- Béatrice (8/5): Very good - Lovely owner who helped us to get around Delhi; breakfast and lunch was nice in the garden :) It‘s calm compared to the city but still noisy for Europeans :D especially as we had the room right next to the street. You won‘t get any drinks/food nearby and need min. to Delhi centre, on the other hand you have a garden to relax in in a nice atmosphere
- Ajit (10/5): I’m in a hurry to visit this place again !!! :) - An awesome place. While entire Delhi was worrying about Air Quality, The Stay Inn had very low AQI because of the trees and greenery maintained at The Stay IN. No face masks needed !!
Super, homely place. Excellent hosts & very interactive with guests. We need a car for the day and our hosts arranged one for us. A clean SUV was provided with an excellent driver who was very well behaved.
Truly, this place is a Home Away from Home !! Happily ……NOTHING !!
- Sharafoddin (9/5): Superb -
- Ajit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Madhavi (10/5): Exceptional - The property was close to airport. Located in very peaceful surroundings. Amrita is a wonderful host and her team of staff took care of every need during the stay. The home cooked meals are delicious and nutritious. I stayed for a week and it was wonderful break for me from the daily hustle and bustle.
- Erica (9/5): Lovely, authentic guest house in a leafy neighborhood - I really enjoyed the Stay Inn. Lovely, genuine Indian hospitality and great value. Our flight plans changed so I booked the inn very last minute. Amrita helped us make the most of things and set us up with a great driver for a mini tour of some Delhi historical sites and when we wanted a home-cooked meal she had the chef prepare us some Punjabi specialties. Breakfast was really nice as well. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a guesthouse experience.
- Suraj (9/5): Superb - I like peace and green surrounding there. I liked breakfast and peace
- Nancy (10/5): Lovely place to stay - I chose the Stay Inn based on its reviews. I was not disappointed. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable and there were lovely garden areas. Breakfast was delicious. What really made the stay was the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff.
- Sandra (5/5): Passable -
- Ayesha (10/5): Cosy, comfortable stay that felt like home. - The Stay Inn was a little oasis of calm in the beautiful chaos that is Delhi. I loved my spacious, clean and comfortable room, but the highlight of my stay was the staff. Amrita was so attentive and helpful. I also really enjoyed the hotel dinner, which felt like a delicious home cooked meal. No complaints, all was good!
- Abhinav (9/5): Superb -
- Liza (10/5): Exceptional - It was very good 👍
- Akalkala (10/5): Exceptional - Homely atmosphere was excellent..
- Steve (9/5): Superb - Friendly and very helpful owner and staff. Nice room.
- Kumaree (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marieke (10/5): Super caring and cosy place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood - I felt very much at home at this place. It was a rare place where I felt also the staff was personally caring for you but at the same time happy--not anxious. Every morning at breakfast you could tell them what you want and then they prepared it fresh (I highly recommend chilla, a type of pancake made from chickpea flour). The rooms are spacious. Overall wifi works, although sometimes you need to switch from one network to the other. The owner was super nice. She allowed me to enter my room already at 7 am when I arrived from the train station, without any extra cost. I was also allowed to have breakfast. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the care of the staff was visible in small gestures like checking whether my water bottle was still full and topping it up where necessary or closing the curtains at night when I came home late. The area is a gated community so also very safe and quiet. The quiet area has an disadvantage that all places to eat out are quite far. Having said that, Uber works very well around there, and actually has a better location indication than googlemaps, which is a little off. But these are only minor inconveniences, and I am definitely hoping top stay here again next time I visit Delhi.
- Viktoriia (10/5): Serene, private and cosy family hotel with the lush garden and excellent service. - Amrita and the team are doing amazing job to make us feel at home in this spacious and serene hotel with a family vibe. Delicious breakfasts, excellent communication and friendliness made our stay absolutely incredible. Highly recommended. Our room was big, stylish and very comfortable. Still thinking I should have asked for home
made chicken curry recipe Amrita was treating us with.
- Serenity (8/5): Our stay at the stay inn Delhi was wonderful, the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. - We loved the location of the property, tucked away in a quieter, more calm neighborhood. It was clean and the breakfast was super yummy!
- Johan (10/5): - It's a beautiful property in the middle of upscale villas in Sainik Farms. The rooms are spread over several lawns. It's un-Delhi like quiet. You only hear the birds sing. The lawns are incredibly beautiful with so many flowers! A restful oasis in Delhi! Amrita and her staff are so friendly and always ready to help with any issues. Our deluxe room was big and very comfortable. I love the mosquito nets on all the windows! Modern bathroom. Good shower. Beds had thick comfortable mattresses, which are not often found in India. Home cooked meals were amazing and a great value. All in all we loved it, and plan to stay here again on our yearly trips to India!
- Carole (9/5): Splendid! - Our host, Amrita was both super friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. The bed was comfortable, the room was large, well-appointed and quiet at night. The food was good quality, freshly cooked and most enjoyable (we had two evening meals as well as breakfasts). Amrita organised drivers as required to take us to the places we wanted to visit & the airport so we had a really enjoyable 4 days in Delhi. The weather! It wasn't warm (early Feb) and the air quality was poor but, until mankind does a better job of looking after our planet...
- Anastasia (9/5): Superb - All our requests were met, we got an extra bed and room upgrade over the phone. Great breakfast. Room was heated up prior to our arrival, wich helped us to sleep comfortably. Neighbourhood is very quiet. Carpets were a bit dusty. it would be good to do dry cleaning on them. Google maps show different location on Google maps, 2 houses away from the property. Good that the host picked up the phone and guided me in (it was at night).
- Oindrila (7/5): Good -
- Barbara (8/5): Very good -
- Komal (8/5): Homely & delightful! - I loved the whole quaintness & old world charm of a home in this place and i rightly went without expectations of a hotel. So many gardens & seating areas in just one property, with lots of birds & warmth! The guard & staff care for you just as your own home maids. The place is open to food being called in from outside, which was wonderful. I did order French fries from their home kitchen & oh boy, we were filled with nostalgia from our childhood - homely, crisp & seasoned well! The host, Ms Bhutani, was a charming, helpful & generous lady, always a call away. I had a lovely home away from home experience. Thank you!
- Krishna (7/5): It was fun - Great location. Very quiet. Garden room was cold and took a long time to get warm!
- Krishna (7/5): It was great to be in peaceful surroundings - Excellent location in green surroundings. Very close to the Country Club where we were attending a wedding function. The rooms are large and well equipped. The bathroom could be updated.
- Hilde (9/5): Lovely home, superbe hostess! - Our lovely host did everything to make our stay as nice as possible. We arrived in the middle of the night with pick up from the hotel. The next day, she arranged a taxi for 4 hours to do some sightseeing. She even helped with arranging an Indian simcard and our traintickets. She was very easy and quickly to communicate with. Would recommend! Nothing
- Mohammed (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (7/5): A beautiful place to stay where we were made very welcome - The Stay Inn is a beautiful property and garden, and we were made to feel very welcome while staying. It is also in a very scenic area of the city, which feels like a real retreat from the bustle of the centre. The breakfast was delicious, and we were given lots of helpful advice for planning our stay and travel around Delhi. It was a little cold in our room when we stayed in December. I completely understand that the room is mainly set up for keeping cool during the summer months, which is fair enough, but a slightly bigger heater in the room would have been a bonus.
The dinner that we arranged to have cooked for us was also a little on the expensive side, although it was very delicious - so no complaints there!
- John (7/5): Good - Great food Got a room towards the road - noice - not good
- Vipul (1/5): Bad -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Chandan (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was great! And the kitchen staff too :)
- Jacqueline (8/5): Lovely place to stay with family - The surroundings, the room, and the decor were lovely. Antique pieces of furniture, decor, and paintings adorned every corner of the place. Just an absolute feast for the eyes. It was difficult to find cabs when it rained. We had to wait for 2 hours just to get an Uber when it started to rain. Otherwise, we were able to find cabs just fine.
- Caroline (8/5): would go back - Small breakfast
Beautiful exclusive location Beds were not very comfortable
- Ballin (9/5): A beautiful, peaceful location, and great accommodation, with good access to the airport. - The owner was very accommodating in allowing early check-in and late check-out to fit in with our public transport needs. We were made to feel very welcome and given useful suggestions for places to eat / visit during our stay. The property is in a very peaceful location with beautiful gardens and was a great place to wind down and recharge our batteries. Location is good for getting to Delhi airport. There are no suitable cafes / restaurants within walking distance.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect!
- Mike (10/5): great - Great place to stay and host was perfect everything - away from the busy parts
- Kevin (10/5): Nice, quite location to get away from the hustle. -
- Sue (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan Mary (10/5): - We stayed at The Stay Inn on three different occasions during our time in Delhi. It was a home away from home with comfortable accommodations and kind hosts. Amrita was so helpful getting us familiar with navigating the city and providing recommendations for local attractions . This is a true gem of an accommodation- with unparalleled hospitality! Thank you Amrita for a lovely stay!
- Christie (10/5): Beautiful Oasis in Delhi - The hospitality from Amrita and her team was incredible, nothing too big of an ask, always around for anything which was so appreciated. The night we arrived, we were greeted with a meal, all home cooked and so tasty! The staff were so friendly and lovely and even taught us a couple of words. The room itself was massive and lovely, we had super comfortable beds and there was everything you needed in the room. The grounds are just lovely, a little haven away from the Delhi chaos. The only improvement would be warm water in the shower (but completely understand that this might not be possible!). The area itself is quite far out of central Delhi, therefore it might take some time to get into the thick of Delhi i.e. the Chandhi Chowk etc.
- Lee (10/5): I stayed on arrival in June, and again for 3 nights in August when I left India. A beautiful property in a great locatio - A very comfortable and peaceful oasis within New Delhi
- Carolina (8/5): - The facilities are amazing, great rooms, beautiful decor, clean, kind service, and I highly recommend staying at this property. However, make sure you add the full address received in your confirmation email when ordering and Uber/taxi. Google location is wrong and might lead to challenges.
- Vishal (10/5): Exceptional - Great property
- Indu (8/5): Very good -
- Akanksha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sweety (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ruslan (10/5): The house met all expectations, I recommend this place to everyone - A great place, fully corresponds to the description, ideal for families and individual travelers.
The house is located in a quiet and peaceful place. There are a lot of flowers and greenery on the territory
Delicious breakfast, fresh fruit every morning.
Separately, I would like to express my gratitude to Amrita and the hotel staff, if there are any difficulties, they immediately help
- Swadhin (3/5): It was very unpleasant. - Breakfast was very basic level and insufficient quantity.
Location is very very bad. Many times uber or local taxi denied to go to the hotel because of location.
- Katarina (4/5): - Horrendous accommodation and location. Initially was put up in a shed converted into a room full of mosquitoes and spiders. Which was changed for additional 500 INR. Lucky had only 1 night booked.
- Benjamin (10/5): A wonderful and peaceful oasis in south Delhi - This was truly an oasis for us in Delhi. It is a beautiful, peaceful property with lots of flowers and greenery. We felt relieved to return here each night after being out on the busy streets of Delhi and Saket during the day. Amrita, the owner, was wonderful. She helped us coordinate our activities each day, and her cook prepared delicious dinners for us at night. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Delhi.
- Kailasam (8/5): Very good - Except for the location this is really creates a home atmosphere . Can stay
- Naiha (8/5): We had a good time staying at this comfortable, quite and very clean property. - The room was spacious, well-decorated and neat&clean. Our stay was very comfortable. The breakfast and the service were good as well. The room was cold, maybe due to the grass growing just above the roof. It would be nice in summers.
- Anita (10/5): - Amazing excellent place to stay very neat and clean polite and friendly owner loved it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars ❤️
- Tobias (10/5): Exceptional - We were allowed to leave our luggage there after checkout to pick it up later - very nice people
- Lodha (10/5): Satisfied - Good breakfast
Good location

- Kushwaha (9/5): Superb -
- Ravikiran (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful farm house style stay. Hospitality was at its best. Big cheers to the energetic Amrita who is a great host. The staff were also very down to earth.
I enjoyed a lovely home dinner on my first day. Wifi connection could be better since I was not able to get Airtel signal
- Kashish (8/5): Very good - Our host, Amrita was very helpful and friendly. She helped us with directions and check-in even though it was as late as 1am.
We had a tasty cooked breakfast in the morning and all the staff were very polite and kind. They accommodated our extra requests, such as drying our clothes on the line outside and refilling water bottles.
Amrita also gave us plenty of good suggestions about places to see and restaurants.
It was very easy to pay as well with our cards and we didn't need to fetch cash. A little bit of trouble with hot water on our first night since we didn't know about the water heater switch. But we checked in pretty late and therefore couldn't ask about it until morning.
- Deepak (1/5): Bad - Owner is veey nice and hospitable Room we got were too old, bedsheets were clean, but super old.In general all needed renovation and bathroom condition was very poor, didn't want to take shower there.
- Sharma (8/5): Very good -

- Si (10/5): Superb - Dinner option must be there
