• Daniel (10/5): Excelente alojamiento en Hvammstangi - Nos resultó un alojamiento excelente. Habitación amplia, comfortable con muebles nuevos. Baño amplio, impecable. Ventana con vista al fiordo. Muy amable la señora que nos atendió. El desayuno correcto. El estacionamiento en el frente muy práctico. Estuvo todo perfecto, quizás por decir algo alguna percha más en el baño vendría bien

• Karoliina (10/5): Clean and comfortable place - I warmly recommend Albert Guesthouse. It's very easy to find and parking is right in front of the building. The place is cozy and immaculately clean. I enjoyed the breakfast and the view from the breakfast room is nice. I arrived late but this was not a problem, I contacted the guesthouse beforehand and they left me the key in a box.

• Cristina (10/5): Meraviglioso! - Siamo capitati qui per caso invertendo il giro dell isola causa maltempo. Posto incantevole a 2 passi dal porto. Camera pulita e colazione personalizzata dove ci hanno lasciato anche le uova di pasqua visto che era la mattina di pasqua! Super consigliato!

O local disponibiliza uma cozinha compartilhada com os utensílios necessários e com uma máquina de café, o que facilitou muito a nossa estadia. O café da manhã é disponibiliza em uma caixa colocada no dia do check in da geladeira, apenas com itens essenciais. O que não é um problema, mas sentimos que alguns produtos estavam pouco frescos.

• Stephanie (8/5): Wonderful stay in a clean, comfortable guesthouse. - Breakfast was ample, between the box prepared especially for our room and the other options offered in the main eating area. Very nice community room that several visitors took advantage of, including us, for cards, games, conversation, or reading. Good location next to the town’s amenities, a short distance from the Ring Road. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the operator was very hospitable. It was more like a cozy B&B than the hotel we expected. Hallway and coffee machine noises were distracting.

Einstaklings herbergi mjög lítið og gluggi hátt uppi og lítill. Skortur á þjónustulund hjá Sveindísi. Bankað á dyr herbergis á slaginu 11:00. Sveindís sagði : Þær eru að koma til að þrífa. Upplifði að ég ætti að yfirgefa hótelið strax, en ákvað að borða minn morgunmat í setustofunni, þó að “tékk út” tími væri liðinn fyrir 5 mínútum síðan.

• Halvani (7/5): היה נחמד, אבל בכנות לא אמליץ לצערי - המיקום בתוך הכפר עצמו מעולה, קל למצוא ולהגיע. יש מספיק חנייה. המארחת הייתה נחמדה. המיטה הייתה מאוד נוחה והחדר בסדר גמור! המקלחות וכל הצנרת של המקום לא טובה, יוצא ריח כלכך לא נעים מהברזים שאי אפשר להתקלח וזה באמת לא נעים - ככל הנראה תשתית לא טובה אולי ככה בכל הכפר, אם יש לכם אפשרות ללכת לעיר או כפר אחר תעשו את זה כי הסביבה עצמה הייתה מאוד מבודדת ומועטה. בנוסף בארוחת הבוקר - לא הייתה ארוחה.. היו 2-3 מצרכים בודדים וחלקם היו פגי תוקף.

• Bertha (10/5): - The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The guesthouse was clean and welcoming. We could walk around town from the guesthouse even though the town was small. There was 1 restaurant and a small grocery store. I would stay there again if I were back in the area.

• Marie (5/5): Logement pratique mais défraîchi et bien trop cher - Bien situé, permet de faire une halte avant de s‘engager dans les fjords de l’ouest. La boîte à clef pour une arrivée tardive. La chambre est de taille correcte et la literie confortable La possibilité d’accéder à la salle à manger, les boissons chaudes gratuites et le petit salon agréable Salle de bain très petite, sanitaires vétustes, rouillés. Petit déjeuner succinct, fourni dans une boîte. Après 2 semaines de voyage en Islande, un des logements les plus chers, prix exorbitant voire indécent au vu des prestations.

• Ursula (5/5): Es ist noch viel Luft nach oben - Es stand ein Kaffeeautomat da von dem man sich kostenlos Kaffee holen konnte. Alles ein bisschen ältlich aber sehr sauber. Ein gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum. Das Frühstück. Es war in Kartons verpackt und stand im Kühlschrank. Dazu eine Käse- und eine Schinkenplatte. Im Karton zwei Brötchen für zwei Personen, zwei Bananen, zwei süße Jogurts ……. Recht lieblos das Ganze.

• Giorgia (8/5): - Camera pulita e ampia. Ci hanno permesso di fare check in fuori orario senza problemi, personale molto disponibile. Per la colazione ci avevano preparato una box con yogurt, frutta e del pane , in più nella cucina comune si potevano prendere cereali vari, marmellata ecc… macchinetta caffè e bevande calde accessibile h24!

Der lugtede lidt af cigaret røg i receptionen og på gangene. Utroligt dårlige senge hvor du kan mærke alle fjedre op i ryggen. Stedets beliggenhed er super fin. Men du finder ikke meget interessant i byen.

Sehr großes Badezimmer. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr freundlich, telefonierte mit dem Mechaniker, da wir ein Problem mit dem Mietwagen hatten. Es hat alles gepasst für uns

L’acqua della doccia ha odore di zolfo, non proprio piacevole e, inoltre, presenta la tenda (che personalmente non gradisco)

For a 2,5 star hotel, we had what to be expected - so we were not too surprised as we knew what we were booking. Simple and small rooms/bathrooms. Room was ver y clean/no view - on parking. Breakfast in a box for the morning which we found convenient. Convenient kitchen for those who want to cook at night as we know dining in restaurant is expensive in Iceland. We liked the living room set up that allowed us to interact with other travellers and learn about their journey. Card and dice games too: very nice. Very nice restaurant about 400m away called Sjávarborg. Make a reservation in advance.

The bathroom in our room had a funky smell, which we assumed was due to the hot water, but we're not sure. We didn't use the shower at all since we had just showered at a public pool before arrival.

Tenien plànols de la zona i la cuina estava ben equipada amb torradora, microones, grill, air fryer,… No hem pogut triar l’esmorzar, eren unes caixes ja preparades, bones però no hi havia assortiment que trobes a un buffet. L’habitació triple era bastant petita.

• Thomas (10/5): - Sehr schöne Unterkunft, Zimmer völlig ausreichend und neu renoviert / eingerichtet. Diese auch in Richtung Straße ruhig, da wenig Verkehr. Nette Vermieterin. Schöner Aufenthalts- und Frühstücksraum mit Kaffee und Tee. Frühstück als fertige Box pro Zimmer mit Brötchen, Bananen, Jogurt und Saft. Brot, Cornflakes, Milch usw. noch extra. Aus unserer Sicht vollkommen in Ordnung und besser als in manchem anderen Hotel.

• TZVI (8/5): - מיקום מעולה, בעיירה של כלבי הים (אל תבקשו ממני לכתוב את שם העיירה המסובך), ממש קרוב למסעדה המעולה שבעיירה הזו, צוות נחמד ומסביר פנים, חדרים נוחים, קצת קטנים אבל למחיר הזה זה בהחלט סביר באיסלנד, יש חדר אוכל קטן שבו יש מכונת קפה וניתן להכין קפה מתי שרוצים. מיטות נוחות, חדר רחצה נעים ונקי. מתלה למעילים שהיה שימושי מאוד ומייבש מגבות (שלא בכל צימר באיסלנד יש). המקום כולו מאוד נעים, ובסך הכל value for money ratio טוב למדי. ארוחת בוקר בסיסית, אולי אפילו בסיסית מדי, מקבלים אותה בקופסא שמחכה לך במקרר, ובנוסף יש לחם פרוס גבינה צהובה פרוסה ונקניק פרוס. אין ביצים או דג מעושן, שכן קיבלנו בארוחות בוקר במקומות אחרים באיסלנד, כלומר ארוחת בוקר ללא חלבון.

• M.B.CH. (7/5): Unspektakuläre Übernachtung, aber alles Notwendige ist vorhanden...und noch etwas mehr - Danke, Erna, für die grossartige Gastfreundschaft! Tee und Kaffe 24h frei zugänglich. Wir durften früher einchecken. In Fussdistanz zu einem grösseren Einkaufsgeschäft. Frühstückbox aus dem Kühlschrank ist voll ok. Allerdings gefüllt mit Dingen, die man vielleicht gar nicht mag.

• Nancy (8/5): Sehr schönes Gssthaus mit komfortabelem Zimmer - Im Gasthaus ist es recht modern, sauber und gemütlich. Das Zimmer ist komfortabel und das Bad noch mehr. Schön, groß und warm. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat uns einige Tipps gegeben. Die Art und Weise wie Frühstück angeboten wird, mochten wir nicht. Jedes Zimmer hat eine Box im Kühlschrank mit zwei Brötchen, Joghurt und Bananen. Butter und Aufstrich steht im Kühlschrank. Ansonsten gibt es einen Toaster, Marmelade und Cornflakes sowie einen Kaffeeautomaten. Man macht sich das Frühstück dann halb selber. Das ist ok, aber wirkt sehr sparsam, da man nicht die Möglichkeit hat, mehr zu essen oder etwas anderes. Die Gastgeberin kam morgens um 8 Uhr an, da saßen schon viele Gäste beim Frühstück. Sie sah uns nicht an, setzte sich an ihren Schreibtisch und ignorierte uns. Das hat uns überrascht. Wir sind ja ihre Gäste und am Tag zuvor war sie auch sehr gastfreundlich. Das wirkte nun anders.
• Janik (10/5): Lovely stay close to the Ring Road with welcoming personal and high flexibility - perfect for a road trip - The guesthouse can be reached with a very short detour from the Ring Road, being located in a lovely small village at a beautiful lake. The personal was very friendly and flexible in regard to our arrival time (flexible check-in option). The breakfast got prepared at the evening before and stored at the fridge for self-service in the morning for a flexible departure which meets everybody‘s needs. Breakfast was allright with a mixed box of bread, fruits, joghurt etc. Limited choice for dinner at Hvammstangi, although there are 2-3. However, we went for a restaurant that took us a 15mins drive by car.
