• Tara (10/5): - The staff at Tru are exceptional. They go above and beyond for guests. I had one staff even bring orange juice and apple juice to our room for breakfast because my hands were full. Even though it was a chaotic weekend with the Holman Reunion, they still managed to keep the environment all-guest friendly by enforcing quiet time and keeping it clean. Great job!!

Room was very clean with a good shower and comfortable bed. I thought the breakfast could have been better, although they did have a pancake machine which we didn't have time to use.

The location was excellent, close to everything. A bottle of coke costs $4. Other than that convenience fee, everything was great.

• Stefanie (9/5): Nice hotel, good breakfast & very friendly staff - The staff was really friendly and tried to accomodate every wish we had regarding room location. Breakfast at Tru Hotels is always nice. As they were fitting out some rooms on the third floor, we were given a room on the second floor. Unfortunately, the person in the room above us started doing some kind of sports, you could hear their every step or jump or whatever that was as there is no carpet in the room (which we actually prefer!) and they were wearing shoes…!
• April (10/5): Great stay - This was just a one night stay while visiting family in the area, and we could not have been more pleased with the accommodations! Not only is the color scheme pleasant and appealing, the lobby has a pool table and several games available to the guests. The free breakfast was nice, and the room was very clean and comfortable. There were a few cosmetic issues in the room (exposed wiring from a replaced network outlet, some screw holes that hadn’t been patched, and some ill-placed towel hooks in the bathroom), but overall this was an amazing stay!

• Navigate19173617236 (8/5): Thumbs up for Tru.... - We travel on a motorcycle and have been getting pummeled in late day rains on this trip. This was our first stay at a Tru hotel and we were a little skeptical of the modern Ikea look and feel of the rooms. As it turned out, I LOVE that there is no carpeting in the rooms - much more sanitary IMHO. And, for our 1 night stays... we never use those big drawers in other hotels anyway. And... BIG TV (maybe a 50")!! Room has a fridge - no microwave or coffee pot. I do wish there had been a coffee maker in the room. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well! Breakfast was comparable to other Hilton properties.

The free breakfast was better than some other hotels, but not gourmet by any means. Overall, a good place to stay, but a little short of excellant.

They seemed short of staff. The hallway carpet on the first floor was filthy. There was a brown spot on the bedsheet.

• Steven (8/5): Class reunion weekend - The check in was slow because it was a third party reservation and the next day the hotel did not show that we had checked in. They asked me to come to the front desk to complete our reservation process. Our room was clean but no closet or any place to put anything away. No microwave and only a small refrigerator without a freezer. Complimentary breakfast was better than most.
