- Mary (10/5): Best Bang for Your Buck on Route 66! - The location couldn't be any closer to Interstate 40. This hotel is beautiful in all areas. (Lobby, king room and breakfast area) Our room with a king bed was so spacious. The layout of the room allowed for so much additional living space. We enjoyed the couch with an additional large foot stool and side table to relax after a long drive. The breakfast area was nice. But wait...There's MORE! When I checked out, the front desk had complimentary sack lunches for the road. We will definitely be checking into this Hampton Inn again if we ever come through this part of the country again. I will also be considering other Hampton Inn locations for future stays! The pool was unavailable due to maintenance. This is understandable.

The staff was helpful, although the desk clerk was unable to help me connect to wifi the first night. There was mold in the shower around the perimeter of the stall.

We stayed at a Hampton Inn at our next stop in Texas and it had more lighting. When I booked I asked for a first floor room for my 87yr old mother in law and told I would have a 1st floor room. When we arrived I was told we have no 1st floor rooms available. Don't make agreements you can't keep

- Samuels (10/5): My stay was perfect and one other thing is the sheets on the bed are great! - The breakfast was always great but I especially like the HOT coffee available 24/7. The staff was always very pleasant. I am visiting my son in Stroud so that's why I am there and I stay out a little later than most guests. Its hard to find a parking place . There may be spaces open but the guests do not always park the best. I don't think there is anything to be done about this. This is my only complaint.

She checked us out in the morning is a great asset to your hotel. The bed was comfortable and no outside noise which helped us have a good sleep as we have been driving long days to return to Canada.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The desk clerk recommended a good little Mexican restaurant nearby where I had dinner. More curiosity than didn't like, but why are there only 2 sets of towels and no plastic glasses in the bathroom? Some of us like to rinse after brushing our teeth.

- Jamie (9/5): We enjoyed a relaxing family weekend with our family. - We come from a very rural part of Iowa to visit our family in Bristow & Tulsa. We felt extremely safe in stroud & the hotel staff was very welcoming & friendly. The breakfast & amenities were also very good. We didn’t get to see the downtown neon lit up at night, but we definitely intend to be back!!

- Sharon S (10/5): - This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Hampton in Stroud and both times it was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the room was great. Normally i stay with family in Stroud but very happy to have this option when needed.

The room was spacious with comfortable mattress and pillows, quiet mini fridge, outstanding bathroom (there was a dual shower head!). Very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely stay there again.

PAsked to switch rooms because person outside was loud 3 floors down after 11pm and we just wanted to sleep. Front desk let us change our room immediately. Just the incident of changing our room.

The staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent as well as the breakfast area was very clean and upkept, AND the breakfast attendant was SUPER sweet. The beds were super comfy, and the rooms were spacious, and clean. They were very accommodating to us and our softball team. The pool is a pretty small, but they have nice patio areas to sit outside at. NEGATIVES: I reserved two rooms, one would think they'd be side by side... Nope, they were on two different floors, which was pretty inconvenient. One had the door coming off the hinges for the bathroom and it wouldn't close properly at all. The inside the elevator was very dirty, as well as skeptical as the lights flickered and it shut off multiple times. When we told the front desk, they just brushed it off. There was lots of trash in the parking lot and the parking wasn't the most convenient when construction workers decided to park all their vehicles sideways..... All in all for a small town, and the area it served it's purpose, and I would stay again.

The entire front entrance is welcoming, large, and what you'd expect for a higher-end hotel. I didn't feel I paid a higher-end price for my room. A gem, people.

It appears the elevator was out of service the entire 3 weeks and we don't know how long before that. If.the one working elevator went out , we would be lugging luggage up and douw the stairs.
