- Alba (10/5): - The staff are all very friendly, respectful and attentive
- Cristina (10/5): - Loved all the antiques
- celina (10/5): - La ubicación es la mejor, la atención impecable y el ambiente muy acogedor y elegante.
- Ronald (10/5): Nature and culture coming together - Great
- Kirsty (10/5): - Absolutly fabulous location. Breakfast and dinner was good. Staff were super helpful. The only downfall was our room was directly on the street so the vehicle noise kept us up more than we'd hoped.
- Joshua (8/5): - The hotel is beautiful, colonial style with nice gardens. The room was very small though and the WiFi not very good.
- R (10/5): - Details of history and cleanliness
- Edward Leonidas (10/5): - Comfort

Fredy food
- Jose (10/5): - The hotel staff is amazing!!
- Violeta (10/5): - We arrived a bit earlier than scheduled but staff was accommodating with our car and property while we went walking around until our time. Staff was super friendly but only when we initiated the conversation. Place is super clean, nice and right next to a church and park. They had their own private parking, though we didn't actually see it but valet took it and brought it back when we were checking out. The included breakfast was delicious and the coffee was exceptional!
- Kimberly (10/5): - The staff and service here was top notch.
- Nury (10/5): - The place is beautiful and comfortable close to shops and restaurants and the staff is very nice excellent service love it
- Jaymon (10/5): - Beautiful property with excellent service.
- natalia (10/5): - The property is beautiful. We had an amazing experience. The workers were so nice and tried to help as they could.
We were there for a wedding on site and it was a group of 39 of us. The food was so delicious but sometimes it took a while to get our food. I suggest maybe a buffet or an egg making station so people can go and serve their food. I don’t think milk for coffee should be an extra charge or ginger ale at the wedding. Other than that it was an amazing experience.
- Richard (10/5): - Extremely nice hotel in the downtown area
- Eugenia m (10/5): - Good staff good food
- Terry (10/5): - Great place great location friendly staff
- Edgar (10/5): - Super attentive staff and very nice scenery would definitely book here again
- Maria (8/5): - Everything was good except that our room was too noisy we requested to be moved and they wanted to charge us extra. Another thing is that they don’t have local chanels on TV
- LAURA (10/5): - Our stay at Casa De Graciela in the charming colonial town of Concepción de Ataco was nothing short of magical. Right in the heart of El Salvador’s Ruta de las Flores.
Casa De Graciela is a restored 19th-century colonial home, originally built during the height of El Salvador’s coffee boom.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. Their warm hospitality and personalized service ensured that our stay was both comfortable and memorable. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own character, featuring handcrafted furniture, soft linens, and a cozy ambiance that enhances the boutique experience.
The hotel’s courtyard is a peaceful retreat, where you can enjoy a morning coffee while listening to the birds and soaking in the colonial atmosphere. The traditional Salvadoran breakfast, featuring freshly brewed local coffee and handmade tortillas, was a highlight of our stay. You must try Tamal de Elote! it was delicious!
- PIERCE (10/5): - Old home that bécame a boutique hotel, Beautiful
- Amilcar (10/5): - I am so pleased with the professionalism and kindness of the staff, the facilities a beautiful town house in our beautiful El Salvador
- Pavel (10/5): Wonderful stay in Ataco! - Beautiful traditional casa with amazing staff, delicious breakfast. Super clean and welcoming. Highly recommending!
- Janice (10/5): Charming with great staff. - The hotel is charming with an old world feel. Beds were comfortable which is a plus when traveling in Central America. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom which was a surprise. The staff is amazing. Always friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was great and i loved having my coffee on the patio each morning. Would definitely return.
- Gabriela (10/5): - Amazing location and the best staff and service
- Franklin (10/5): - Un lugar muy agradable, el personal muy atento. Siempre nos quedamos ahi cuando visitamos Ataco
Beautiful place, friendly customer service. We always stay with them.
- GILLES (10/5): - I absolutely loved my four nights at the family owned Casa de Graciela. The hotel is very clean extremely well cared for. The staff was very attentive and helpful. It's next to the plaza, an easy walk to everything.
Communication with the owner, Gerardo, was fantastic.
It's certainly not a cheap option in Ataco but, the value is there as it felt luxurious. The garden was a wonderful place to chill and work, the bed and linen were of high quality and the included breakfasts were savory. A suggestion would be to perhaps provide more breakfast options for guests as only a limited selection of breakfast items available were offered to guests (included).
The hotel is very cozy with many artifacts displayed in a tasteful manner. I enjoyed the wall fountain at the end of the hall near my room.
Thanks for a lovely stay, Gerado and staff :)
- Sylvita (10/5): - The staff was very welcoming and they parked our car for us in a private area for guest. They were very helpful.
- Debra (10/5): - This hotel is a little oasis in the center of a small colonial town. Everything was perfect and it felt like you were staying in a museum with fascinating antiquities. The staff was fantastic and the inner garden and restaurant are spectacular.
- Rafael (10/5): Lovely place. - Beautiful Hotel. Walking distance to church, park, shopping, excellent.
- Aileen (10/5): - Nice hotel
- Ernest (10/5): - The place to stay if visiting Concepcion de Ataco.

- Juan (10/5): - Amazing location with a great attention to detail. Staff was incredibly hospitable and went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and were catered to. We will be back
- Georgina (10/5): - This is a beautiful hotel. The perfect combination of modern and colonial eras. You feel trasported back in time without giving up the modern necessities. Which for me are AC and hot water 🙂. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help.
- Eugenia m (10/5): - Very friendly staff the place is beautiful
- Idalia (10/5): - Beautiful property!! amazing service!
Beautiful vegetation.
We will come back forsure.
- Jay (10/5): - The staff was the greatest and the beauty of this place was just unbelievable !!! Best area in the whole town !!! We loved it !!
- Roger (10/5): - Fantastic customer service, friendly. Extremely professional!
- ivette (10/5): Charming True Hacienda Style Hotel - Hotel DeGraciela is a beautiful hacienda with friendly and attentive staff. I recommend the room upstairs if you want more space and view. This room has a cozy balcony, many windows, 2 full bathrooms and 2 rooms-very comfortable for family of 4.
- David (10/5): - Place is amazing
- Ruth (8/5): - Staff parks the car for the guest. Perfect.
- Kelly (10/5): - Loved this Hotel!!! The employees were extremely polite everything was clean food at the restaurant was great….quiet n clean! Definitely will be back.
- Yulia (10/5): - excellent stay, staff was very helpful!
- Alexander (10/5): - It was old fashioned and the people who work there were amazing and kind.
- Jairo (10/5): - I have never stayed at a place so beautiful and the crew was absolutely great. I’ll definitely recommend to anyone and would definitely comeback if the opportunity presents . Thank you again guys for such beautiful stay . Y’all when above and beyond to make my stay the best ever.
- Liting (10/5): - we were so pleasantly surprised by this charming hacienda hiding behind non-descript gray walls. Check-in was quick and the service impeccable. Our room wasn’t fancy but it had everything that we need. The bathroom was small but charming and we appreciate the little touches of real flower her and there. We had a private table set up for us in the courtyard for breakfast. Only wished we could have stayed another night and that a planned marathon didn’t start their techno music at 4:30am in the morning. Other than that, it was perfection. Centrally located, too!
- Faaria (10/5): - Amazing hotel. Close to everything. Staff goes above and beyond to help. Needed a hair salon. Got an appointment right away and walked us to it. Made sure our stay was an amazing experience. Nice big rooms. Hotel has such charm. Will definitely stay here if we come back to Ataco. Plenty of stores and shops in walking distance. There is a lot of construction around the hotel But the staff helped us get around and park our car in a gated parking lot. Again the staff is amazing here. We don’t speak Spanish so had to use google translator for everything and the staff was so patient and made sure we got what we wanted. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed.
- Danny (10/5): - The staff was amazing since we arrived. I can’t described how welcome they made us feel. The rooms and the atmosphere at this place was so peaceful that we didn’t want to leave . I love how closed it is to the plaza and how easy is to walk to restaurants and shopping places. We definitely will recommend this place without a doubt.
- mark (10/5): - A very beautiful hotel with a lovely garden. Great location and it has a very good restaurant too.
- Jorge (10/5): - Loved the hacienda look
- Carmen Elisa (10/5): - Friendly staff, close to local shops, clean, safe and beautiful rooms.
- Kathy (2/5): - DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! They do not care about their guest safety. The first night it was so noisy with construction and music past 2am and unable to sleep. The next morning they moved us to a room in the back that has a couple steps. I fell in the doorway moving our things. My girlfriend also slipped and fell. Later that evening I slipped again this time breaking my wrist. I was accused of being drunk and treated terribly. They called for an ambulance that was a 1970 little pickup truck. Told me to crawl in the back. Instead we called a Uber and went to Santa Ana closest place for xrays. After I had surgery and called to ask about the sandals I left all they cared about was a little throw pillow that i used for my arm and a blow dryer. Never ask how I was doing. When we went to return the pillow and blow dryer they never once asked how I was doing or offer apologies. They are not prepared for any medical emergency and if you have an accident it is your problem. I have never been treated so poorly anywhere in the USA. BEWARE do not stay there!!!
Get the word out. Stay anywhere except Casa Degraciela!!!
- Ana Vilma (10/5): - Rustic and beautiful hotel, with excellent service.
- Mike (10/5): - I have stayed there a few times now, I love this place, its very rustic and has a very spaniard feel to it. The breakfast is great, its super clean, service is by far great. Only problem with the place for me is that it was super cold at night, dont know how it is the other nights since we only stayed one night. Other then that great place to stay when visiting Ataco, Ahuachapan and Albania.
- Maribel (10/5): - Love the place, clean and beautiful
- Jeffery (10/5): - Lovely property. Thank you Willlie for taking the time to tell me the hacienda' s history. Love that they have kept some of the original pieces. Little Daniel made a special touch. It felt like I was at my grandmother's home. Will be back!! Absolutely gorgeous!!
- Evelyn (10/5): - Great location, friendly staff, great food
- Tara (10/5): - Beautiful property with great attention to detail. Staff was wonderful.
- Ruth (10/5): - What a gem! The boutique hotel is tucked away at the top of the mountains and once you arrive it's a tranquil, beautiful oasis. Parking is offsite but they offer valet service at no extra charge. We were warmly greeted and quickly checked into our room by the nicest young man (I regret I didn't write his name but I believe it was Carlos?) When we walked thru the gate onto the property we were impressed by the beauty and charm of this picture perfect estate! The grounds are meticulously well maintained & the rooms have so much character & history! At check in we were briefly given some of the history of how this place came to be. Each of the rooms has original period furniture and are meticulously well maintained. Although our bathroom was tiny they made use of every square inch, provided quality products & had fresh flowers perfectly positioned on the shower ledge. I am a person who loves attention to detail and this place didn't disappoint. They offer a wonderful breakfast included with the room rate and each room has it's appointed breakfast "spot." Ours was an adorable covered patio outside our room which had a lovely personalized note on the table. Such a nice personal touch! Just a word of advice to be prepared with some warm, comfy clothing as it got really cold at night that way you can fully enjoy all that this place has to offer. Thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay enjoyable! I would definitely stay here again!
- jose (10/5): - it is a perfect way to get the stress off . Beautiful place and the town is still as an old fashion town . Excelent climate
- marisol (10/5): - Everything was excellent 👌
- Mami (10/5): - This hotel is very pretty and well maintained. There is hot shower and free bottles of water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
- Oscar (10/5): - Comfortable and lovely hotel.
- Gerardo (10/5): - The staff was really nice and the place really pretty
- Kathleen (10/5): - everything was super and the staff were excellent
- Marla (10/5): - We loved this lodging, and I already want to come back. Our room was tiny, which we didn’t like, but the property was spacious and beautiful. My favorite thing, maybe was the billiard room, which had a couple of comfy, easy chairs and a light for relaxing reading, especially when it was raining this was a excellent cozy retreat in the rain. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was super clean and charming. You could step out the door into shopping and restaurants but once you got back inside, it felt like an oasis. It was one of the more expensive options in town, but worth it. Now, the downside. They are doing construction on a giant building next-door and there was hammering all day long. Not pleasant. We had to play music in our room to drive it out. I hopefully it won’t last too long. there is a church next-door and the church bells play until midnight. I found this charming, but it might bother some people. No one on the staff speaks English. Except maybe the guy who checked us in? I can’t remember. Anyway, he was not around on the weekend. so if you don’t speak Spanish, just be aware of this. You will still find a way to get your needs met. We found this true in all of El Salvador, and if the country truly wants to invite foreign tourists, they need to have their staff learn English because it’s the international language. I speak enough Spanish, but my friend is not, and she felt rather lost. We loved El Salvador and this hotel.
- Armando (10/5): - The place was incredible, the staff attentive
- Graciela (10/5): - The stay was a completely unique experience. Beautiful, clean, and one of a kind. Highly recommend it!
- Norma (10/5): - Staff very nice
- Brian (8/5): - Property is beautiful. Staff was very attentive and charming. Unfortunately, our room location was closest to the plaza which unfortunately meant lots of noise. Also, the ATV rental location was directly across the street making it way too loud to relax until they shut down around 7:30pm. Great place, would definitely be specific about room location.
- Jose (10/5): - Unique, very clean, colonial style!
- Jose (10/5): - I found this place it's safe staff super friendly
- Jose (10/5): - Made me feel like in an old salvadorean farm house.
- LAURA (10/5): - Our experience was absolutely amazing! the place is breathtaking and there is tons of details in their decoration that makes it feel like you are in someone's home instead of a hotel. if there is one thing that I would suggest is definitely upgrading the mattresses!
- Alexander (10/5): - Very beautiful hotel with very attentive staff.
- Lisa (10/5): Beautiful Posada - This is a fabulous, wonderful place! A gem!!!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A special hotel in the mountains of El Salvador. The staff were lovely and the rooms clean. The grounds and the room was beautiful. The breakfast was also very good. I would definitely return.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All the staff at Casa de Graciela was so attentive since the moment we step into the door. I was amazed by the property and staff. The location was also excellent, Ataco's plaza, souvenirs shops, and other touristic areas are just minutes away walking from Casa de Graciela. We will definitely go back when visiting El Salvador again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Casa de Graciela left my family and I feeling as if we had stayed with a elegant family host. The property is in the center of the quaint town of Ataco which is filled with many visitors going to the artisan shops and restaurants . Once you enter the hotel you are surprised with the peaceful and beautiful grounds. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. Our rooms were comfortable and nicely appointed with all the convienes you would expect at big hotel chain. In the morning a delicious full breakfast was prepared with a personal note waiting for us at the table. We stayed just prior to attending a private party and needed to get ready in our nicer clothes, the manager graciously allowed us to leave bags safe and sound at the hotel and change in more comfortable clothing when we came back to get them. If you visit Ataco, or even travel on the Ruta de las Flores, you can help but being pleasantly impressed with a stay at this hidden gem.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place and the staff were also amazing! Thanks again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Outstanding service and beautiful house! This is right in the middle of the town, just beautiful.
- Y (10/5): - Very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel and rooms were clean five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
