Leo (10/5): Wonderful. Our only regret was that we only stayed one night. - Staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The old city is beautiful and easy to visit. We loved the design of the rooms, the attention to detail, any especially the magnificent showers. We appreciated Laura’s suggestion that we park our car at a lot below the old city and take a taxi to the hotel. It was a reasonable price and avoided a long stair climb with our luggage.

It's a wonderful stone room that is quiet and cozy with a barrel vaulted ceiling, and the bathroom is roomy and modern but also in lovely stone. It feels like an underground home but just a stairway away from a very lovely hill top village :-) Nothing.

La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, pulitissima e con un’atmosfera accogliente. La posizione è perfetta per visitare Ragusa Ibla a piedi, immersa nel suo fascino unico e a due passi dai principali punti di interesse. La camera era confortevole e ben arredata, con tutto il necessario per un soggiorno rilassante. Un ringraziamento speciale alla proprietaria Laura, gentilissima e disponibile, sempre pronta a dare consigli utili su cosa vedere e dove mangiare. KATE (10/5): Fabulous boutique hotel - Fabulous boutique B n B in the heart of the old town, 5 minutes walk from the Duomo and numerous great bars and restaurants. Our room had a gorgeous view of the old town, really comfortable beds and pillows and great attention to detail. Homemade pastries, preserves and yogurt for breakfast were incredible and Laura is an excellent, relaxed host. Highly recommended 😊 Nothing 😊

RGGCV (10/5): Bello hotel boutique con encanto - El hotel en sí, esta enclavado en una zona linda, decorado super nice, en los cuartos se ve la roca natural, eso nos encantó. eramos un grupo de 4 parejas y super lindo. hay muchas gradas para llegar al hotel y dentro del mismo hotel, tener en cuenta si tienen problemas de algún tipo con las gradas. Pero sino te importa, vale la pena, realmente quedate por lo menos una noche aquí.

chris (10/5): Just a fantastic gem of a BnB. Cannot recommend it enough. - One of the best small B&B properties I've ever stayed. The Room is gorgeous and thoughtfully updated without losing the historic charm, and has a great view (see picture from Cinderella balcony) The location is a great balance; a short walk up to the Cathedral and touristic plaza, while still being close to the parking lot and the plaza where Ragus Ibla and Superiore. Breakfast is really fantastic and served in their coffee shop downstairs, so the coffee was made to order and really great. Best of all, the hosts are gracious, helpful and were totally on top of things. They really take the idea of "sabbinirica" to heart; super welcoming. And every recommendation for restaurants and day trips was spot on! They will order you a taxi to ferry you, but the walk up from the lot may not be for everyone. This obese 60yo toting 50lbs on my back did it okay but it's a good workout to earn that delicious dinner.

Ragusa was a great village to visit and use as a base to visit over nearby towns like Modica. The attention to details and care is what makes this host very special. We just didn't want to leave after our two night stay! Our stay here was that special! Everything was fantastic!

rex (10/5): Our host at Sabbinirica treated us like old friends coming for a family visit. - Breakfast was fresh, sufficient, and well presented. Our room was spotless, spacious, plus it had wonderful character-with a bonus of a super view of Ragusa. Laura, the owner, could not have been more accommodating, friendly, and helpful. She went the distance helping me with my bag as I arrived not feeling very well. My only wish would be that there was more of an assortment of pillows -as in some harder and others soft. That said, we both slept soundly.

michel (9/5): - L’accueil extrêmement sympathique de Laura A la réception le jour de notre arrivée Laura n’était pas là et une « petite prétentieuse » m’a fait une belle théorie pour m’expliquer qu’il ne faisait pas froid dans la chambre et qu’elle ne comprenait que des suisses qui viennent d’un pays froid ne supporte pas 17 ou 18 degrés dans la chambre. Elle m’a indiqué aussi que la télécommande ne servait que pour la climatisation…. Pour ne pas m’énerver j’ai pris un petit scotch dans ma chambre et heureusement nous avons rencontré Laura qui a été magnifique pendant tout le séjour.

Die Treppen sind eng und verwinkelt, manches Mal muss man den Kopf einziehen, aber das macht den Charme aus. Die Lage ist zentral in Ibla, eher näher zum Parkplatz gelegen. Das war von Vorteil, weil man dann das Gepäck nicht so weit den Berg hoch tragen bzw. rollen muss. Zum Glück hat uns Laura vor der Anreise schon Information zu den Parkplätzen geschickt und das Video, wie man dann zur Unterkunft findet, ist einfach unschlagbar. Das Frühstück ist schon vielfältig, aber natürlich doch italienisch und eher auf der süssen Seite. WiFi hat in unserem Zimmer nicht funktioniert

Hugh (10/5): Outstanding property in an unforgettable location. - Beautifully restored with superb facilities. Huge rooms and bathrooms with glorious views from the small balcony. Very comfortable bed and air conditioned. Laura and Marcia were extremely polite and helpful. Delicious breakfast included with great coffee and so much more. Nothing really. You do have to park in a public car park 6-8 minutes away and walk up to the property. No getting away from the fact that Ragusa is hilly but oh so old and beautiful. Unforgettable location really.

Wir wurden super nett empfangen, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, wunderschönes Zimmer, sehr sauber, traumhaftes Frühstück, Mega Ausblick auf die Stadt ( wir hatten das Doppelzimmer mit Fenster ) wer nicht mehr so gut zu Fuß ist, könnte Probleme haben mit seinem Gepäck zum Hotel zu finden. Wir sind einige Minuten gelaufen von dem Parkplatz aus, darunter auch Treppen und Steigungen. Für uns als junges Pärchen stellte dies aber kein Problem dar :) Theoretisch war das WLAN nicht gut, aber das tut nicht weh, wenn man hier ist um die Schönheit der Stadt zu sehen. Mobilfunk Empfang war gut.

Ademas Laura fue encantadora y el desayuno que prepara es increíble. Hace ella casi todo y con productos locales. Sin duda es un sitio al que volveríamos por el servicio, atención y comodidad. El hotel esta situado en ibla que es la zona mas bonita de ragusa. Es el casco antiguo. Ademas, Laura nos envió un video super bien explicado de donde debiamos aparcar el coche (hay un parking gratuito y super cómodo a 5 minutos a pie del hotel). Si duda sigo soñando con el desayuno, las mermeladas, los dulces, y embutidos locales!!!

Siamo rimasti felicissimi. Sia Laura che Marzia sono fantastiche e ci hanno fatto sentire a casa! La colazione top, c’è tutto e in abbondanza. Ci torneremo sicuramente!
