Guest Reviews
- marshall (7/5): Cheap and cheerful - Location is excellent for the beach and the town
- clair (4/5): Once was enough, - No breakfast, the view was amazing, good selection of toiletry’s, convenient for shops and beach, The mattress were stained beyond belief, the light switch was hidden behind the bunk bed, the carpets in the room was stained and the ones on the stairs were ripped and dangerous, tvs did not work, charged for parking
- Andrewc (1/5): -
- Considine (8/5): Amazing - Destination and the lady who checked me in was lovely and very welcoming Shower a little small for my partner but he isnt the smallest of males
- Shopnil (10/5): - Staff
- Gorea (7/5): -
- Luca (1/5): - Room smelled of BO and toenail clippings everywhere. That for £80 a night. Are you joking?
- Maya (5/5): -
- Yeison Eliecer (10/5): - No hubo desayuno solo cafe
- Mark (1/5): - Location was ok bathroom too small shower head kept falling on my head dead batteries in the remote control tv was tiny the only good thing was the bed.Cracks in the wall and no socket near the bed
- malcolm (1/5): Disgusting. - the only good thing was the location, close to BIC,. Everything, we were put on the top floor about 5 staircases to climb, the man from reception did help us up the first time with our cases. our room was smelly filthy carpets and toilet seat kept falling down, there was no safety mat in the bath, no milk for the tea, which the tea bags were disgusting, as we bought milk out and decided to have a cup. but the whole place had stained carpets and people were cooking food below which seemed strange for a 'hotel'. we were transferred to the hotel next door when we arrived which the receptionist said they had 5 hotels? god knows what they were all like compared to ours, got up early on the day we left to get out as fast as we could. we had a one night stay to go to the BIC, but would never book this hotel again.
- Denise (1/5): -
- Neil (2/5): This place was cheap and I still feel robbed - The view from the 3rd floor of the sea was really nice There was no duvet on the bed and the window didn’t close so we were freezing. The carpets and furniture were all marked, onsite parking was £26 a night. When we arrived to check-in, they tried to put us in the hotel next door which was full of drunk and sketchy looking people and the room looked like the scene of a murder, the curtains were hanging off and the shower was dirty and the shower head was a hose on the floor, the room didn’t look like it’s even been cleaned from the last guests. The excuse for trying to move us was building works starting at 8am on Sunday and we’d be disturbed, which seemed nearly impossible on the 3rd floor but we checked out at 9:30 and there wasn’t a builder in sight. Will never stay in either of these hotels again.
- Imran (1/5): -
- Aidil (5/5): -
- Raquel (6/5): My stay was nice. The location is very good and the staff are very friendly. - Great location. Near the beach and shopping area. The carpet wasn't clean. Also I think it would be better if they use only white bedding set instead of grey, as it makes the room look more clean and comfortable.
- YAN TING (1/5): no good, had to pay £10 for parking, other place should be free - only the sea view dirty,
not clean,
bad smell
- Singh (1/5): -
- Steven (3/5): -
- Nosova (8/5): Very good -
- Steven (1/5): terrible - location the room no tv reception. carpet was terrible dirty walls were filfy. radiator was broken.
- Sher (2/5): Bad - Location good Very poor accomodation have never been in a hotel that bad , holes in curtains, black net?? Chipped furniture tv i pad size didnt work , stained carpets, bedding was all creased and horrible all and all glad to leave asap in morning
- Sarah (1/5): Health hazard - The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location This hotel is a health hazard. Black mold and damp rooms, the owners are vile and only helped when threatened with being reported for being a health hazard. The whole hotel stinks. The whole hotel is filthy. Not just grubby, but actually filthy. Black mold above the bed, moldy bathroom, rude owners.
- Shaun (10/5): all good - near town center
- Lee (1/5): Bad -
- Neil (1/5): Bad - It was pretty close to the beach and a short walk to the town centre I knew it was not a 5 star hotel but it wasn't great
I was charged an extra £10 for parking but I thought it was included from the booking, the WiFi did not work and neither did the TV in the room as it only had Netflix. Only one window opened in the bedroom and it smelled when we arrived. They said they upgraded us to a studio room which had a sofa bed and a double bed, I asked for more bedding so my son could sleep on the sofa bed, when we returned Friday night our room was left unlocked but had our new bedding inside, luckily nothing was missing form the room. There were no bedside lights. The shower was awful and took ages to get to a temperature that was not freezing cold or boiling hot. The studio room had a washing machine and cooking facilities but no utensils or plates or glasses. We had 4 coffee cups in the room and I asked at reception if I could get a glass to drink out of was told there was no restaurant but they couldn see what they could do. I paid £20 for a late checkout for 2pm yet housekeeping tried to get into the room at 1pm while I had just got out of the shower.
If could be a lovely place to the location but needs some money being spent on it to bring it into some decent standard of accommodation
The staff were friendly enough but overall it was dirty and smelly and a poor example of hotel accommodation
I only stayed for one night if I had booked for more I would of checked out and refused to stay. If it wasn't so close to the beach I would not of booked it in the first place
- Steve (3/5): Poor -
- Plays (1/5): Bad - Location We were shown 3 rooms all werent what we booked 1st room had half the ceiling wall paper hanging off with damp marks .

- Stephanie (4/5): Ok for one night literally to sleep and shower in - The location was good as only 5 mins walk from the beach Firstly wasn’t even in the hotel I paid for was in a partnering hotel 5 mins away. I requested a sea view room did not get this.
The number combination lock on main door was temperamental and didn’t always work.
Rooms were extremely hot had to have windows open but where on main road there was outside noise
The tv facilities were ok but remote control did not work so had to keep tv off
- Davina (1/5): Windows was disgusting couldn’t see out dead flys in Windows and on the floor beds was broken mould in the bathroom tap - Nothing only location Gone 3am in the morning people running around slamming doors smoking weed laughing out side my door made the night unbearable and unsafe specially I had my 7 year old granddaughter she was scared no sleep at all night felt unsafe our room was discussing no light couldn’t see in the dark
- Ahmad (7/5): Good -
- Peter (8/5): Overall very good - Did not have breakki as had to make early start home as the train travel became bus and coach but fault of hotel. They gave me an early call which was very helpful . I would use it again as it was close to amenities . Thank you all Nothing springs to mind
- James (1/5): TERRIBLE - Nothing, Hotel was poor, really outdated and in fact dirty, Everything, WE WERE MOVED TO A DIFFERANT HOTEL, WE DIDNT BOOK, AND IT WAS DIRTY AND IN A POOR SHAPE,
I WILL NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN AND IF I COULD GIVE YOU ONE PIECE OF ADVICE I WOULD SUGGEST YOU FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY.
- Wasiq (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (7/5): Good -
- Bill (4/5): Not very satisfactory - No pkug for bath or washbasin
No staff available to tell about this at the time I wanted

- Paul (1/5): Horrible. When I checked in I immediately looked for other hotels to check into! - The location Absolutely disgusting! This place is in serious need of a renovation! I didn’t even get into my bed! I put my towels over my pillows.
- Danilova (7/5): Good -
- Smith (4/5): Shocking hoyel - Location The smell was not nice. Day 1 ..price was 47 for the room.. then told an.extra 10 pounds to park outside the hotel. Next day price was 100. How is thus justifiable... I'm staying at the royal bath!. 85 pounds for the night! What a huge differenc!.. I was insulted at the price! Very very poor accommodation.tv remote didn't work..batteries falling out... Asian man woke me at 3.45 in the morning shouting down the phone on the front doorstep of the hotel. The worst I have ever visited! I would avoid like the plague
- Maria (1/5): Bad - Nothing. The Bedroom was dirty, the mattress was horrible, I could feel the springs, mold on the wall, blood stains on the bedsheets, furniture all broken, a chair where a bedside table should be, television not working. Spent an hour and left for another hotel, struggling to get a refund.
- Maria (1/5): Bad - Nothing Dirty and with carpet coming off in the corner, horrible mattress, blood on the bedsheets, mold on the wall, furniture all broken and very old, television not working, spend an hour there and left .
Had to book another hotel and struggling to get a refund. Stay away 🤬
- Ben (1/5): Room stunk of smoke, toilet leaking, very dirty things in room where broken. Do not recommend - Only good thing was the location Dirty, ran down horrible place. Should be shut down. I do not recommend anyone staying here
- Ronald (5/5): It served its purpose on this occasion although would look for somewhere different next time - It had a fridge No bedside light or alternative to the full light
- Clare (1/5): Bad - only good thing was location hotel was horrible, definitely needs up dating and fixed.
Room had damp, broken window and radiator. Wallpaper peeling of wall and defiantly hadnt been cleaned. Plus werent able to be used due to been broken. Worse was my daughter burning her self on a broken light fixing.
- Iain (1/5): Bad - Nothing Poor service, cocroach running around the bathroom, shower not working, plug sockets not working, dirty bed sheets and covers, stains on the carpet, extra £10 to park on the forecourt
- Adam (1/5): Glad I was only in the room for limited time. - Lady at reception was polite The state of the room 110.
Leaking toilet in the bathroom floor which left puddles.
Creaky shower tray which felt the floor could be compromised
Stained decor in the room particularly the ceiling.
Staining to the bed base which looked revolting
The room smelt feisty which meant keeping the window open but kept awake by the passing traffic which overlooks a main road.
- Jane (10/5): Basic clean convenient and great price - Great location friendly staff and great value!
- Aschalew (1/5): Bad -
- Marlo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cadwalleder (2/5): Very poor - It was clean enough No electricity on the morning when we were leaving, couldn't charge phone, have a cup of coffee or have a shower, unable to speak to a member of staff has it was all locked up with the shutter down, it was very distressing.

Celling light was not working and the chandelier was partially broken. Carpet had satins. Bed was very uncomfortable . No extra pillows available . Sensor light out side our room was not working . I was worried about health and safety .
- Carl (3/5): Poor - Very un happy with the room over priced shower did not work needs updating as the room was very uncomfortable to stay in Room was disgusting not what I expect from a deluxe room which I was charged for
- Dean (1/5): Shite - Nothing! ! Horrendously over priced for a cell ! Looked like it hadn’t been decorated for 20 years, bed had a 3” mattress the lights above the bed all broken to the extent my wife cut her head on the exposed bulb and wiring, they gave us the key and it wasn’t even cleaned yet , no light in the bathroom, curtains didn’t match, the sofa had a broken leg, no duvet just a blanket. Car park was £10, don’t get me wrong we’re not snobs and don’t expect much but this was shocking!!!!
- Lucy (3/5): Very disappointed with this hotel. - A none breakfast hotel
When I arrived I was given a room, on the ground floor, it was hot, very small with strong smell and not the room I have book. I went to the reception and asked for another room which they did. The room was a little better. Besides the fitted on the mattress, there was no other bed sheet even when I ask for it.
The shower room - the drain was Bloks, one has to stop a few time during shower to let the water drain away before continue with the shower. But it was unblock the next day when report to the reception.
There was a TV in the room, with a broken remote control.TV cannot be turn on manually as the key is lock. Again it was reported at the reception, nothing was done.
The small window cannot be close, I am not sure why as I am not able to see as it was rather high.
A fairly large fridge is next to the bed, it keeps me awake when the fridge motor comes on..
The furnitures are old and tired. Everything that is written above.
- Mihai (4/5): Disappointing - The location of the hotel ! At first, when i arrived to check it, they gave me the key for room 307 , which was occupied by a family , me and my 2 mates went upstairs to check the room and when we opened the door inside was a woman waiting for her husband , we had to apologise to her and saying that we have the key from reception , she was surprised about that !
Went again by reception, explaining the situation and the main man , trying to say that we should have the key to 207 room and not 307 room , and hiding the key that i just gave him back like nothing happened , i told him that is not an excuse as we just been there and is a woman inside ...
I've been offered a different room, 306 !
Don't know if it was a pure mistake or incompetence !
Never again in this place .
- Azra (5/5): Passable - The staff were lovely and the location was good. Room could use a coat of paint. Curtains didn't cover whole window. Bath fascia dislodged.

- Honorata (2/5): I’m very tired and unhappy the dates of my stay 29.03.24-1.04.24 - Absolutely nothing we were put, in separate building not open for usage yet… no reception open …3 floor with a old dog had to carry him up and down 4 times a day …at the reception we were asked how big is the dog ?? Is the dog clean?? If there will be problems with peeing,If they claiming dog friendly facilities why some many questions…we were told that carpet is new and they worried about carpet when we went in the carpet looks like at list 20 years old…we felt unwelcome from the beginning, charged for parking… no wi fi no tv channels cracks on the sealing… 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 day’s stay, dirty towels…actually My holiday wasn’t what I thought it will be … good that weather was good we could stay all day out…overpriced…and room very small…I wouldn’t recommend… Everything ,I wouldn’t recommend to stay in this place even for half of this money, dirty unwelcoming, old,no tv channels no wi fi …
