- christian (9/5): UNE HALTE DANS L'ANCIEN TEMPS - Situation exceptionnelle sur la place historique du village. La Garrotxa est une région magnifique et tout particulièrement SANTA PAU. Le restaurant de l'hôtel étant fermé pour cause de décès, nous avons pu découvrir à Olot à une quinzaine de kilomètres, un autre restaurant absolument fabuleux, au cœur de la forêt, proposant à des prix raisonnables une cuisine excellente: "FONT MOIXINA"! Vivement conseillé! Même si le restaurant de l'hôtel semblait, lui-aussi, très bon et très agréable, sous les arcades de la placette. Absence de réfrigérateur. Savoir que le parking est en contre-bas du vieux village, à 5 minutes. ( possibilité de décharger la voiture devant l'hôtel.)

Eva and her staff were warm and welcoming, and they made everything very easy for us and enhanced our stay considerably with their thoughfulness. Everything right from dropping luggage at the door and easy parking, to checking in, gaining fabulous suggestions for what to do nearby, a delicious home cooked breakfast each day and then, dinner reservations in the award winning Cal Sastre Restaurant was facilitated efficiently by the energetic and super friendly Eva. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and we felt very privileged to stay in the heart of this historic, medieval village. Cal Sastre translates as "The Tailor's House" and is a truly bespoke stay. The decor provides an eclectic and fascinating look into the heritage of this place. There is so much to do in the area you could easily fill 4-5 days or longer to be able to aborb the rhythm of daily life here. We were fortunate to visit during the Saint Jordi's Day festivals, so that was an added highlight. The Volcano and Forest walks are inspiring, but the highlight for us was the village and its people - stunning! Dinner at the Cal Sastre Restaurant was exquisite, and the Chef was outstanding in his skill and hospitality. Leaving! The beautiful town of Santa Pau is a real gem. Once you realise you need to ignore the 'no entry' signs and actually enter the old town, everything is very easy! A lovely local lady walked us through the archway and up to Cal Sastre - so we felt welcome right from the beginning!

- CESÁREO (4/5): DECEPCIONADO - Se trata de un hotelito en una población pequeña, y está ubicado en la zona antigua de la misma, la zona medieval del pueblo. En primer lugar, que te digan en los servicios del hotel que tiene "Parking gratis", y no es verdad. El hotel no tiene parking, el aparcamiento es el municipal, que está situado a la entrada del pueblo y a una distancia considerable del hotel. Además se trata de calles antiguas en las que cuesta desplazarse con una maleta. En segundo lugar, las instalaciones y el tamaño de la habitación, totalmente insuficientes para un hotel con categoría de cuatro estrellas, las cuales no creo que merezca el establecimiento. Por último, la relación calidad-precio, completamente desfasada. El precio me pareció un robo para lo que me estaban dando.

- Alexander (9/5): - Es un hotel rural en la plaza del pueblo de Santa Pau, nuestra habitación tenia vistas a los volcanes asi que era ideal. La señora que lleva el hotel es un amor y lo tenian todo listo para cumplir al 100%. El desayuno era bastante completo. -

- Susanne (10/5): Calme absolu - Le calme de l'endroit. Village médiéval qui est resté typique. Jolies promenades à faire dans les environs et également de la montgolfière au dessus des volcans. En septembre, beaucoup de restaurants fermés 1 jour sur 2. Mais possibilité de prendre a la supérette de quoi manger.

La piscina pequeña pero suficiente con un jardín para tomar el sol. Nada en concreto. Estuvimos a gusto.

- MARIA SILVIA (10/5): Un hotel deliciós en un entorn natural realment preciós. - És un hotel deliciós, amb uns espais molt bonics, cuidats i plens de detalls que el fan singular. La situació de l'hotel és immillorable: al bell mig de la Plaça Major, entre els porxos i enfront del castell de Santa Pau. La decoració (la d'una antiga sastreria) li dona un caràcter molt especial. Té un jardí interior molt íntim, amb una piscina menuda que mira a la vall. Els amfitrions, Eva i Jesús, són molt amables. Ens ha agradat molt l'esmorzar.

- RICARDO (2/5): ENGAÑO - Según Booking, era un 4*, excelente con clasificación de9’1, se ofrecía habitación doble de 24m2, y nos alojaron en una de 14m2 a lo sumo, sin armario, con dos colgadores en la pared con dos Perchas cada uno de ellos y una especie de vitrina con estantes,el minibar, resultó ser un enfriador de 40cts X 20cts, que no enfriaba y nos dieron como solución una cubitera con agua y cubitos.El AA no se podía regular,aunque lo pusieras en auto y a 26º no se soportaba el frío y si lo apagábamos nos asábamos (Agosto).Publicitan un restaurante con menú de 29€, que al mediodía está cerrado y por la noche no tienen menú y te ruegan que como muy tarde no vayas después de las 20’45h, porque el personal protesta. No podíamos irnos porque nos cobraron por adelantado y en temporada alta imposible encontrar otro Hotel. Nos sentimos estafados y Booking tendría que controlar más lo que ofertan,entramos el 5/8 y salimos el 7/8, pagamos en metálico y no nos dieron factura y con los nervios y el cabreo no la reclamé. La reserva se hizo a través de Booking y nos cobraron por adelantado 300€ por las dos noches y hoy al salir las tasas y la cena que fueron 85€. Como mucho es un 3* moderado. La relatado en el anterior apartado, que tendría que ir en este.Hasta la fecha Booking no nos había fallado, pero en esta ocasión unDESASTRE
