Guest Reviews
- Peter (8/5): - Perfect for what I needed at a great price, All staff I encountered were fantastic and the food at the hotel was excellent, I would definitely stay again.
- Mark (6/5): - Its okay for a couple of nights
, but not for 2 weeks
- Julie (8/5): - Clean room. Comfy bed
- Stacey (10/5): - Yyh
- Linda (6/5): - Not enough power point . We had one to run the toaster, microwave, and kettle and anything else. Curtain wall end was broken from the track which allowed the outside light to shine on the head end of the bed all night. Most annoying hard to sleep. Could hear a lot of noise from room next door.
- Kevin (8/5): - Good clean accomodation and neat rooms with everything in good working order
- DIANNE (10/5): - Great central spot , comfortable accommodation. Great Meals at Paringa Hotel .
- David (8/5): A good place to stay on a cold winters night ! - Great to spend a night there , room had most ur standard older hotel room but for price it wasn’t bad at all , slept great no hwy noise at all , food from the hotel was ok the steak I had was very chewing , drinks at the bar was nice and cold
- Jeff (2/5): Disgraceful room - Busted skirting boards with big holes & mould, dust throughout, funky smell, toilet leaked, & the sink was stained & cracked. the bed was ok, the food at the pub was great.
The room though should not have been let out, I also asked another person how his room was & the response was similar.
- Paul (8/5): - Clean, comfortable room. Helpful staff.
- Barry (10/5): - I liked the staff, the food was excellent , and clean and tidy accommodations. Happy to recommend it.
- Peter (10/5): - We like everything
- JADE (8/5): - Nice quiet location, handy having the bistro and a bakery within walking distance
- David (6/5): - OK but basic
- Cynthia (10/5): - We were quite happy with the room
- David (6/5): - Run down property from what was originally a quite average place. Still works but dont come with any high expectations. Food in the Pub and nearby Bakery Cafe very good.
- Bruce (8/5): - Convenient location.
- George (10/5): - good spot and helpful and cheery staff. good clean room and comfy bed.
- John (6/5): - Everything was OK except the ac was not working which meant it was a cold night- no extra blanket, no elec blanket and no heater.
- Mcdonald (10/5): - Staff were great motel clean and tidy
- Harry (6/5): - Showing it’s age
- Mark (8/5): Overall a comfy, affordable stay. - Not bad for a night, the positives, the room comes with a microwave, toaster, kettle, plates and cutlery.
The negative are those horrible old itchy granny blankets, who uses those!
Overall it was a good stay.
- Richard Warren (8/5): - Room was basic, clean with plenty of amenities for the price, parked the car in front of the room, able to walk to shops and river and dined at the restaurant.
- Michael (6/5): - Nice cheap place to stay short term
- bruce (10/5): - The price was very affordable, the staff friendly and the rooms were clean and adequate .
- Denise (10/5): - Excellent property, older rooms but very comfortable and clean.
- Matt (8/5): - Value for money, comfortable, friendly staff at check in
- Andrea (8/5): - Clean & tidy.
- Colin (8/5): - The room was very clean, the meals were excellent value for money and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay for overnight stop - Stayed a few rimes here now-Okay for overnight. The only issue is the insects/bugs (no fault of the hotel) but in evening makes it hard to go out and back in room as they cluster around lights near rooms and occasionally into room but okay for economy priced and short drive to Renmark
- Ian (2/5): - I purposely booked on that day as it was about half way home from my destination. And the third day of the MCG test Was looking forward to relaxing and watching the cricket. But the tv was non operational just saying no signal all day.
- Bernadette (6/5): - Good for a stop over
- Richard (10/5): - Very clean comfortable, great shower, not fancy great value
- Barry (8/5): - All good.
Good value
- Lewis (8/5): - The property was just what we wanted, comfort, convenience and well priced. No negatives
- Francesca (8/5): - It was a good location. Needed a sofa or comfy chair and did not like washing the dishes in the bathroom
- Peter (6/5): - Motel located next to main road. Traffic noise clearly heard. Property ok for the price. Furniture dated but in good condition. Fridge, microwave, kettle coffee and tea provided together with glasses, plates and cutlery. You get what you paid for. Convenient parking and access. Supermarket and cafe near by. Overall average, but convenient. Recommend for budget travelers and lost souls.
- Tanya (6/5): - There’s a definite need for sound proofing! I could hear the next room boil the kettle. They had their TV on (not loud) but they had it in until after midnight and the sound came straight through the adjoining room.
- Robin (6/5): - Handy to the highway and easy parking outside the door to the unit. However, had difficulties with the TV (had to completely retune it as got limited channels at first) and getting the air conditioner to work properly (warmth going into the top of the cupboard inside the door instead of into the room)
- JILL (10/5): - Great place to stay. We had a couple of drinks and lovely meal at the pub. Very helpful and friendly staff.
- Patricia (6/5): - The staff were lovely to deal with. It was a concern my daughter found quite a large bug in her....meant to be clean and freshly made bed.
- Tony (6/5): - Affordable, clean accommodation which has seen better days, nevertheless owners have made ok attempts at modernising.
- Michaela (6/5): - Very quiet but very the price of the room was too much for the age of the accommodation! Renovations desperately needed.
- Ken (8/5): - Frendly starff
- Anthea (6/5): - Everything about the room was ok, for the price of the rooms it was what was expected.
Staff were pleasant and friendly upon check in and during meal service.
- Travis (8/5): - Easy parking when your in a truck for work. Very good price for the room.
- Tim (8/5): - Once we got past the '70s wall treatments & minimalist decor in our room, the dining room, meals & service were wonderful & the bed was comfortable. Exactly what we needed for our overnight stay.
- Peter (8/5): - The decor is a bit dated, but the dining room and meals were excellent.
- Colin (6/5): - OK for 1 night if you don't mind dated decor and noisy neighbours.
- Peggy (8/5): - Spacious. Short walk to the silo and the river. Unless you have a motorbike or 2 door hatch you cannot park on the property for half of the rooms. Very thin walls through the bathroom.
- Caroline (8/5): - Despite being a hotel-it was quiet,no loud neighbours;had agooid fridge;a microwave and toaster and the Hotel for meals.Spent 3 nights and able to really relax.Staff all polite, friendly and professional.
- Trevor (8/5): - Nice quiet rooms
- Carmen (8/5): - Nice and clean. Plenty of crockery along with a microwave, tea, coffee etc. a couple of chairs which is nice so you don’t have to sit in the bed.
Only downside is there was no table to go with the chairs
- Bernard (6/5): Basic country pub - Very basic rooms with old fixtures and fit outs. Functional but old.
- Mary (6/5): - Old.
- Troy (10/5): - Very good
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice room.Upgraded to it appears family room and was very spacious.Check in staff friendly and efficient.Room quiet.Excellent location close to main parts of riverland. If had to be picky maybe new pillows be nice or extra pillows as mine pretty flat but great value for monet
