• MALCOLM (2/5): In our experience - one to avoid! - Location perfectly easy to find. Parking right outside hotel. Check in took ages. Lift was broken. No one to carry suitcase upstairs ( we are 80 & 83 years old). In the room (9) the shutter was diagonal across the window - would not move either way. Light switch in bathroom filthy. No toiletries except bath gel fastened to wall over bath. No cups, not even plastic. There was no bath mat for the tiled floor. No handles in shower for safety. Not possible to have a bath as there was no bath plug or sink plug. Litres of water must be wasted. The toilet was not even secured to the floor. Sheets did not fit the bed. Not a single picture on the wall. Rubbish left in bedside drawers. Evening meal in restaurant was priced at 2 courses for €22. I had a chicken burger instead - my wife did not eat. Breakfast was a coffee & croissant, had to ask for butter & jam. Windows in bar area looked like they had not been cleaned this year! Run by people who just did not seem to care.

• Simon (8/5): - No entiendo las críticas tan negativas, no deja de ser un hotel de carretera que cumple con creces lo que promete. Por un precio económico te alojas en una habitación normal, limpia y con todo lo suficiente. Si alguien espera lujos que prepare la cartera, pague 200 Euros por noche y vaya a otro lugar. Lo mejor, sin duda, su relación calidad/precio.
• Chantal (8/5): Bon établissement et personnel à votre service - Notre nuit a l’hôtel était correcte. Nous avons été très bien reçu à l’accueil. Le dîner était bon et le service très agréable.Le petit déjeuner était un peu léger mais bon. Le personnel était très sympathique et s’est mis à notre disposition pour nous comprendre(nous ne parlons que très peu l’espagnol). Cet établissement est très propre à l’intérieur.

• Kelvin (8/5): This is a very good hostel with very competent and friendly staff. - The staff were very helpful and friendly! They didn’t speak much English, nor did we speak much Spanish! Google translate is very helpful. It wasn’t pricey either. Not really much to dislike. Nothing worth mentioning.

• MARINA PARRO ESCUDERO (6/5): Camas muy cómodas - Comodidad de las camas, parking amplio y gratuito. Me parece un poco caro para lo que es. Hotel un poco reformado pero le haría falta bastante más o bajar el precio. Desayuno consta de una magdalena o un croissant con un café, infusión o Colacao, un poco justo también.

• Terry (2/5): Cold cold cold. - Parking and WiFi good It was the coldest hotel room I've ever experienced, no heating whatsoever, with outside temperature at -2 the room was not much warmer, there was only a sheet on the double bed but found 3 single bed blankets in the wardrobe which were not suitable for a double bed , but we had to make do and left very early in the morning to get warm in our car.
• Belen (1/5): Una y no más - Lo único bueno a destacar fue la atención de la camarera del bar, fue muy simpática y amable y la habitación era amplia. El baño era muy antiguo, el lavamanos perdía agua, la taza del váter estaba floja, nos quisimos dar una ducha y no había agua caliente ni personal al cual decirle. Pagamos habitación y desayuno, nos dijeron que servían a partir de las 9, estuvimos esperando hasta las 9.15 y por allí no apareció nadie, por lo cual nos fuimos sin poder desayunar.

• PINAULT (3/5): Hotel à eviter - Repas correct. Bonne literie Acueuil moyen Pour eux l’option petit dejeuner inclu n’existait pas! Pas de pain grillé ni beurre ni confiture, uniquement des pains au chocolat et gateaux industriels au petit dejeuner Ascenseur en panne Propreté douteuse. Deux télévisions superposées dans la chambre. Oreillers vieux et tâchés. Eau sanitaire à peine chaude Vieux tapis sale dans le hall d’entrée de l’hotel. Petit radiateur électrique de salle de bain en guise de chauffage dans la chambre...et je dois en oublier! Aussi des toiles d’araignées au plafond et sol mal ou pas balayé avant notre arrivée

• CA (4/5): No volveré - La ubicación era buena para hacer noche de paso y no tuvimos problemas de aparcamiento Instalaciones viejas, sin reformar o restaurar, dificultad con la cerradura de la puerta de la habitación , mal olor… En la cafetería que hay justo en el hotel, nos cobraron 15€ por dos tostadas secas de aceite y tomate con un jamón de pésima calidad y dos cafés solos con un botella de agua

• StevieB (8/5): On the whole a suitable location for 3 mid 60 year old gentlemen on a 3500km motorcycle tour! - location was great - on our motorcycle touring route. The staff were friendly - especially the lady on arrival who was running the bar, restaurant AND front desk - very capable as it was fairly busy. The food was great, the rooms a little jaded but functional - there were signs of water leaks in the bathroom but no actual leaks at the time. On the whole a suitable location for 3 mid 60 year old gentlemen on a 3500km motorcycle tour! Bathroom area in general needed a bit of work, holes in the roof and drips of water from above but only a little.

• Philip (8/5): handy pit stop - this is a basic road house but is very good value for money and is handy. you wouldnt go here for a holiday but for a pit stop near the motorway it is ideal. basic but clean, simple menu but good. its also dog friendly.

• Marilyn (3/5): Deteriorating over the years. - The man who ran the reception and the bar was helpful and effecient. The menu if the day was excellent value.. The room was awful. Really cold, the radiator capped off and a fan heater had no chance of heating a 42 SQ meter room. There was NO hot water. The bath was stained and the toilet rattled. We have stayed here several times and are well aware that this is an old hostal with few comforts but this time the sheer shabbiness and coldness meant it will be our last. Sad.
• Joan (2/5): - El Hostal cerrado teniendo una reserva hecha 2 semanas antes, nadie nos atendio y estuvimos más de 2 horas esperando a ser atendidos a 7 grados por la noche. Estuvimos a punto de pasar la noche a la intemperie pero finalmente tuvimos la suerte de que nos recomendaron un sitio para salir del paso.
• Marcel (2/5): double facturation - Malgré une reservation faite et réglée par internet, j’ai dû regler à nouveau l'hôtel. En effet, l'etablissement me dit n'avoir eu aucune reservation ni reglement reçu. Resultat une reservation faite pour une chambre triple à 57e et réglée et une autre facturation demandée à 76e car plus de chambre triple. De plus, nous avons dû libérer rapidement le matin avant 9h car l’hôtel fermait pour le week-end. Inutile de penser à prendre un petit déjeuner car aucun service de restauration pour cette journée. Très déçu surtout avec une facture supplémentaire. Heureusement le service clientèle Hôtels.com prend en charge la réclamation concernant la double facturation mais pas encore de retour à ce jour. Je déconseille cet endroit.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Transit Hostel - As a transit hostel it was OK. We unfortunately stayed on a Saturday and the town was closed and quiet. We struggled with the meal times especially dinner after 21.00.
