• Nicolas (1/5): Épouvantable - Expérience révoltante. Nous avons découvert avec effroi la présence d'un détecteur de mouvement avec caméra intégrée braqué directement sur le lit où dorment et se changent mes filles de 4 et 8 ans (couchage préparé par l'hôte). Non seulement cet équipement n'a jamais été déclaré (ni sur l'annonce, ni à l'arrivée), mais l'hôte a d’abord osé nier l'évidence par message alors que l'objectif est parfaitement visible. Puis admettre la présence mais en indiquant qu’aucune photo ou vidéo n’étaient prises durant notre présence. Nous comptons déposer une plainte auprès de la police touristique (PSP). En plus de cette violation grave de la vie privée, le séjour a été gâché par l'état du logement : • Propreté inadmissible : À notre arrivée mercredi, l'appartement était extrêmement sale et poussiéreux. Nous avons dû exiger l'intervention du propriétaire qui a fini par envoyer une entreprise de nettoyage le lendemain. • Odeurs et humidité : Malgré le nettoyage, les tiroirs sentaient fort le renfermé et l'humidité. L'appartement manque cruellement de ventilation, ce qui rend l'air vite étouffant. • Équipements vétustes : La vaisselle et les poêles sont dans un état lamentable (abîmées/rayées). En résumé : Un hôte malhonnête qui ne respecte ni l'intimité de ses clients, ni les standards d'hygiène de base. À fuir absolument, surtout en famille.

• Karicke (7/5): Location, location, location - Location, location, location! you’re basically a short stroll from the beach, which made life incredibly easy (especially with kids in tow). The apartment was clean and well-kept, and we really appreciated the welcome touches, a bottle of wine and crisps waiting for us, which instantly put us in holiday mode. Plenty of towels were provided, and the hosts themselves were friendly and pleasant to deal with. The biggest downside was the admin around check-in and check-out. We ended up communicating with multiple people across WhatsApp and Booking.com, which made things feel unnecessarily complicated. There were quite a few messages asking for arrival times, days before, the day before, and again on the day, even though we had already provided a time slot. The same happened with check-out, where there was a strong focus on the exact minute we’d be leaving, despite agreeing to the 11am check-out. It took away a bit from that relaxed holiday feeling. A few small practical things would make a big difference. There wasn’t really a usable bin in the apartment (just a tiny one in the bathroom), and while recycling is great, some simple guidance or a better setup would help guests a lot. For privacy, you either had full exposure or full curtains, something like frosted windows would be a nice middle ground so you don’t feel like you’re living in a cave during the day. And finally… the sofa bed. Calling it a “bed” might be generous, it was very firm and not particularly comfortable, so worth revisiting. But besides the recommendations above the place is definitely a great find

• François (7/5): Excellent emplacement mais place à améliorations côté équipements et propreté. - L'avantage principal de cet appartement est son emplacement soit à quelques minutes à pied de la gare et de la plage. L'appartement est spacieux et assez bien équipé. Il y a même une chaise et un parasol pour la plage. La propreté de l'appartement laissait à désirer. Les planchers n'étaient pas propres et il y avait passablement de poussière dans les recoins. Il faut demander pour tout (ex.: plus de serviettes, papier de toilette, etc..). La cuisine est correctement équipé mais il serait intéressant d'y ajouter des articles de base pour cuisiner comme, huile d'olive, vinaigre balsamique et sel/poivre. Un lave-linge serait un ajout intéressant.

• Arshia (8/5): Overall, this was a good experience. Was very easy for us staying here with 3 kids. - Location was excellent. We were minutes from the beach, shopping and restaurants. Bathroom door in the master did not close (it was a sliding door). We could hear everything through the hallway door. Parking is difficult but this is the case in all of Cascais.
• Christina (8/5): Modernes Apartment- Zentrale Lage für jegliche Unternehmung - Die Lage ist superzentral, man ist direkt am Strand und im Ort in einer kleinen Gasse. Modernes Apartment mit schönem Badezimmer, sehr gute Dusche. Gute Küchenausstattung. Parkmöglichkeit im öffentlichen Parkhaus in zwei Minuten Entfernung. Großer Supermarkt fussläufig in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Direkte Bahnverbindung nach Lissabon, Bahnhof zwei Minuten entfernt. Sehr guter Kontakt zu den Vermietern, schnell und problemlos. Unser Apartment hatte leider keinen Aussenbereich ( kleine Terrasse/Innenhof), das hatten wir bei der Buchung übersehen.
• Claire (8/5): Really great 9 days and the apartment overall was very good. - It has an amazing central location right next to the beach just step out the door. The apartment is well equipped and the air. Conditioning was a life saver in some extreme hot weather. The apartment is spacious and has two bathrooms. The outside patio area is very small and not very well updated. It was quite difficult to sit out there as the air conditioning units created hot air. It could do with an upgrade of the patio.

The apartment had an unpleasant smell like it had been close for months Waited some hours to get the keys AC was not working, but a repair man came quickly and fixed it
• Cgn (9/5): Just perfect - Location is perfect for short or long stay. Beaches, shopping, eating, transport all within minutes. Apartment spacious enough for 2. A little bit cold (in Feb), some condensation. Some of the kitchen utensils have seen better days, but otherwise everything needed was there.

Oriana met us at apartment, she was lovely gave us recommendations for restaurants. Also a welcome package of wine, crackers and crisps. We had a issue with flush on toilet I texted and it was fixed that day.
• Liza (5/5): Disappointing and damp - The flat was a decent size. The managing staff are very nice. They asked for £100 security deposit which they claim does not leave your bank. It does and u have not yet received the refund despite a receipt saying it was refunded. Be wary. The property is not 'beachfront' as described. Although it stands kitty corner to beach access. The ground floor is on the street and you cannot open the blinds to let in daylight without becoming a, shop window. The property was damp and cold. It needs plants to soak up moisture and blinds that open down not up. There was a problem with damp towels on our arrival, and the cleaning crew had left rubbish from previous guests under the sink. I would not stay here again.

• Bekka590 (6/5): Great location, apartment could have been better - The location was perfect - a 2 minute walk from a really nice beach and there are loads of restaurants and shops round the corner. Rooms were spacious. Staff were nice. Noise from apartment above and outside is pretty bad, late into the night and early morning. Apartment didnt feel that clean. There was also a bad ant infestation. There were hundreds of them crawling around the kitchen, as well as in the wardrobe; we hadn't left any food/drink out. The bed was super uncomfortable, I actually had bruising on my hips after a 5 night stay. There also could have been more towels and toiletries - we were staying 5 nights and you get 2 tiny bottles of shampoo and shower gel, and one large towel each.

Checked out at 11am but flight wasn’t until 9pm. A luggage lock-up would be helpful. Floors were dirty and bathrooms need upgrades

• Wei (10/5): Nice vacation in cascais with ocean center appartement. - Local is perfect, works 30s can go to the beach, restaurants and market nearby, very practical. Two rooms with two toilets and twos washers, very comfortable.

• Burke (9/5): We had a fantastic holiday in Cascais, made extra special because of our excellent accommodation. - Property is well situated close to a beautiful beach, cafes, supermarket, train station. A perfect location. The house came well equipped, excellent showers, etc. We have nothing negative to say about the property. One v small thing: there’s a periodic buzzing noise throughout the day and night. Not so loud to be a problem though. No idea as to the source of the noise.

• Helen (7/5): Very small apartment in a nice city - Very small apartment in a great location, close to center of town and the beach. Cascais is a beautiful town with great views, many restaurants and charming streets Rooms are much smaller than they appear on photos; the air conditioning is only in the living room, so when it’s hot outside, it is very uncomfortable in these bedrooms. One bathroom is very tiny, no bedside table, limited storage; Towels are quite over-used and thin and after one use they have an unpleasant smell. Parking garage gets very booked up on weekends and it takes a minimum of 20 min to get a free spot after someone leaves the garage.
• Cosmina (9/5): If you are looking for a beacfront cosy stay, this is a very good choice 👍🏻 - The location of this stay is spot on! The indications given by the host for check-in and check-out were very clear, also the recommendations tips for best beaches, best restaurants and best things to see in the area. The studio was cleaned properly The bedroom tends to be a tiny bit noisy from the street, especially at 6 am when the cleaning truck passes by 😄

• Teresa (8/5): One of the best locations in Cascais! - This apartment is in one of the best locations if you want to be central with super easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants. It couldn’t be better. What’s also great is we were left some washing up liquid, coffee pods (although we didn’t use them), and condiments such as packets of oil, vinegar, etc. I say this because when you go self catering and for us on this occasion we only stayed for 3 days, the last thing you want to buy are these items as you’ll never use them all. So I really appreciate hosts who leave these for guests. We had an issue with the shower on our first evening and messaged the host - they were lightening quick to respond and arranged for someone to come and sort it that night. Unfortunately the issue kept happening every time we used the shower so we worked around it ourselves for ease. But as I say the host was fast to respond and try to resolve when we told first them. A suggestion for the host is also to install a full length mirror. The only one in the apartment is the one in the bathroom and I’d have appreciated a longer one in the bedroom.

• Loraine (9/5): great location, comfortable apartment - location is perfect. in centre, close to the beach, train station, lots of restaurants nearby. the apartment is very comfortable. en-suite shower off the master bedroom had a problem with drainage, which made the bathroom damp and stinky. the living room windows are on the street so we left the blinds down which made it dark inside the apartment

• Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional - Sensational apartment! It looks even better than in the pictures! Soundproof! 3 beaches at a distance of 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 8 minutes on foot. the old center is a 5-minute walk away. kaufland and the train station plus bus to Sintra 5 minutes away.
• Mel (9/5): Perfect Location and Good Hosts. - Host Mara was welcoming and friendly and on time for check in and check out. She met us at 7am for an early check out (as needed to get to airport) which was appreciated. Apartment was a good size for our family and had a fully stocked kitchen. Location was perfect as in centre of town with a 2 minute walk to train station and had restaurants etc all around. Very easy access to everything including the beach. We had a terrific stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Floors in apartment need to be washed and scrubbed as could feel sand and grit on feet on arrival. Think room was swept but was sticky so grit was stuck on floor and didn't feel clean even when we swept.

• MANUEL CARLOS (4/5): Cambio por Overbooking - Por overbooking, sin argumentar otra razón, nos cambiaron a otros apartamentos: habíamos reservado 3 noches en un lugar céntrico, y nos lo cambiaron por 1 día en un apartamento, y dos días en otro, muy alejados del centro de Cascais. Los dosspartamentos estaban muy bien, pero la perspectiva de la reserva cambio completamente. La única justificación fue Overbooking, lo cual me parece muy inadecuado.
