Guest Reviews
- Sivakumar (4/5): - Only location
- Kanika (3/5): Rooms are small, food is cold, bathroom was blocked - Location Rooms are very small
Prices high
- sushanth (7/5): -
- Shailendra Kewal (5/5): - Price vs value Location, cleanliness and environment
- Maxcadd (1/5): Wasted Rs 4000/- - I paid Rs 4,000/- not worth.
Bed spreads are dirty and old.
Morning coffee was cold in a paper cup.
Didn't even wanted to try the breakfast.
- Kumari (1/5): Nonroyal nonelite hotel - Nothing likable Attitude of the Manager is very bad. Room is very small, other than cot one small table that can help to keep their intercom. Bath room is bad clogged water and bad non working flush! And their reception is unkempt. Served chill breakfast in a plastic tray. Not worth the payment they charge
- Saurabh (1/5): Bad experience - Hotel Royal Elite - Nothing 1) The Owner was rude
2) The Rooms shown in pics vs Actual are different and the rooms were too small ( room 201)
3) The staff did not know about the nearby main tourist places
4) There was no towel provided earlier and later provided after lots of argument
5) The hotel does not have food facility and every time they say to it's guest to eat outside.
6) Lously place and worth being hotel
- Hashmathulla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krishna (1/5): Worlds worst hotel and staff - Absolutely nothing Here’s a harsher and more abusive
If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is a scam and a disgrace to hospitality. I paid ₹3000 for what I thought was a “3-star” property, but this dump barely qualifies as a dhaba with beds. It was an absolute nightmare from start to finish.
1. A Receptionist with an Attitude Problem
We arrived drenched from the rain and asked for some help with our luggage. Instead of helping, the receptionist, who clearly hates his job, demanded payment first and had the audacity to rush me to enter the PIN because he didn’t want to “tire himself out” by reinitiating the transaction. Reinitiating a payment takes less than a minute, but apparently, that was too much for him. After I paid, only one guy bothered to carry two bags, leaving the rest for us to manage. What a joke!
2. No Facilities, No Help, No Care
I asked for a simple hairdryer to dry my shoes, and the staff didn’t even think before saying no. As for parking, they flat-out lied. They claimed parking was reserved for other guests, but in the morning, there was only one damn car parked.
3. Rooms That Make You Regret Life
The room was a matchbox-sized dump. No space for luggage, a broken toilet flush, no bathroom exhaust, and a bed so tiny it felt like sleeping in a coffin. I paid ₹3000 for this garbage? Absolutely unacceptable.
4. Breakfast? More Like Poison
The “complimentary breakfast” was an insult to food. The tea was just hot sugar water, and the rest—a couple of stale idlis, one oily vada, tasteless khichdi, and six sad chickpeas fried with onions—was revolting. To make it worse, they cook all this trash in a cooker right in the reception area. That’s right, in the reception. Filthy and unhygienic doesn’t even begin to describe it.
5. Basic Napkins? Nope.
While leaving, I asked for napkins. Guess what? They don’t have napkins in this so-called “Royal Elite” hotel. What kind of joke is this? How do you run a hotel without napkins?
- Suresh (3/5): Poor - Nothing Everything
- Chellappan (5/5): Passable -
- Vani (5/5): Passable - They said breakfast is complimentary and gave very little amount of breakfast... that even a small child cant fill his /her stomach
- Vijo (7/5): Good -
- Chandni (3/5): Different than what is shown on booking.com. - Ground staff helping with suitcase, and reception were good. Breakfast not great , just too simple but doable and alright The pictures shown on booking.com don’t match the reality anywhere. I had booked suite ( so called suite) but i got another standard room and when i insisted to get the room that i booked, they shifted me to another room. However it was not in a good condition, could see rust on taps, towels were hard and torn, the flush tank continuously ran with water. I booked this room relying on pictures but it was not even 20% of pictures shown. If they cannot even meet basic standards of maintaining the bathroom, providing proper towels then what else can you expect and imagine ????[ see towel in the picture]

- Sridhar (1/5): Bad experience. - Other than the location of the hotel, nothing was good. There was no room service. Fan was dirty, AC was making noise, toilet window panes were not there, no courtesy, breakfast was not served although it is mentioned. The hotel has appointed two old ladies (60+) to give room service, how can you expect guests to ask them to do anything. Terrible experience. We vacated the hotel without staying the second night although we had booked and paid for it.
- Venkatakumar (7/5): Good - Bathroom Facilities and room is better the cost with breakfast. The Parking slot is have 1 only then Have more parking Facility.

- Thejaswini (3/5): Poor - I didn't like the way he argued with the customers for the check in and check out time, looks like over business strategy. Not at all eco friendly with the customers. Please don't choose this elite, he may treat you as over royal that you have to pay 1000 rs bucks for 1hour stay, that to for buffer time. No more comments....................................👎

We went for temple and requested them to keep the breakfast but they didn't keep that too. I feel seriously feel and had a late checkout. They took extra changes and yet misbehaved.
- Sairam (3/5): BAD. - Nothing to like at the facility. Room for lot of improvement All basic amenities and promised things at the time of booking are missing.
1. Bed - Choose a king size bed.. as I am travelling with a 4 year kid. Given a small queen bed. Waste of Money
2. Water - There was no water at the facility for 4 hours in the morning hrs. Not even for natural calls. Waste of Money
3. Elevator - Was not operational at the time of checking
4. Television - Out of 10 times I switched on TV, 8 times it was saying No signal
5. Breakfast - It is not buffet breakfast as promised while booking. Roadside serves more varieties of food. Waste of Money
6. Restaurant - No attached restaurant. Need to order food outside.
7. Overall - not worth of money. Beneficial for Bookings.com and facility not for customer
- Sinha (1/5): Very bad experience & feel cheated by Treebo Trend. This was not value for money. - I didn't like anything about Royal Elite hotel, Madurai from the entrance to the ambience to the casual approach of the staff, pigeon-hole sized room, stained bedsheets, old & worn-out towels, no wifi etc etc. The Hotel doesn't have any parking space but claims to have one which is very dishonest about them. Treebo Trend should disassociate themselves with this hotel.

- Sudip (9/5): Superb -
- Muddu (8/5): Very good - All good Food limited options

- Ram (8/5): Very good - Tiffin is good. When I have checked in the room, the bed is not arranged with pillows full of dirt and later they have changed after asking. Towels weren't provided initially and arranged later. It's not upto the standard. Parking will not be sufficient for more than three vehicles. If it rains, the area will be water logged.
- Ravi (6/5): Pleasant - Room was clean.
Cordial staff at check in Cleanliness of bathroom.
Inconvenient Breakfast timing (starts at 0830hrs) and too cramped a place for having breakfast.Hence most of the guests including us had breakfast outside.
